"Every neighbourhood needs a Quince. They have beautiful fresh-cut blooms for take-home or delivery. They also style flowers for weddings and events, as well as provide support for small gardens. And their houseplant collection leaves us green with envy, with everything from ficus trees to cacti, snake plants, hanging plants, and an abundance of succulents. They carry tons of accessories like trimming scissors and misters, as well as pots. The only risk is that you will probably definitely get the urge to turn your home into a forest. Good luck!" - Medina Abdelkader

Beautiful arrangements! Angela was extremely accommodating when I had to change the day we needed the flowers for and happily switched it multiple times. 10/10 will order from this team again. Photo doesn’t do it justice but this was the Citrus colour combo. They also offer to get it in a vase if you need it.

I absolutely LOVED my bridal bouquets and table scales by quince flowers. I worked with Nina on my vision, and we started with a phone call. I really appreciated this point of connection vs getting a quote by email only. Nina was so helpful, kind and flexible as I changed my mind on colours. We met again in person closer to the date so that I could see exactly what my flower options were. The bouquets turned out absolutely stunning, and they photographed so well. My table scapes were so elegant. I could not be happier with the process and the final result!!

Stunning flowers and excellent customer service from Nina. Recipient was delighted and said the arrangement looked and smelled amazing. Thank you!

We chose Quince Flowers for our wedding, and Nina exceeded all our expectations! She was incredibly responsive, offering creative ideas and helping us envision the perfect palette and mood board for our special day. When the wedding day arrived, the flowers were even more stunning than we could have imagined. They perfectly matched our vision and more. The quality of the flowers was exceptional too—almost a month later, the roses are still thriving on our kitchen counter!

I was introduced to Quince when I won a Wonderbloom subscription via raffle. For twelve months, I received the freshest bouquet of flowers at my doorstep and it made my home so much more vibrant. Flash forward to present day, I bought myself the subscription again and looking forward to each month! I had to call the store to update my phone number and person on the phone was extremely efficient and super helpful.

I had the absolute privilege of photographing the stunning florals from Quince Flowers for Colette and Matthew’s special day. Their arrangements were nothing short of breathtaking—full of vibrant colours, playful details, and a whimsical touch that made each photograph come alive. Every piece felt like a work of art, and they added so much beauty and creativity to the scene. It was a joy to photograph such unique, thoughtfully designed florals. Highly recommend Quince Flowers for anyone seeking florals that truly stand out!

EDIT: Just wrapped up our 3rd corporate event working with Quince Flowers. The service is always excellent and the flowers always look fab. We will continue to go back to Quince for future corporate events. ORIGINAL POST: Our not-for-profit organization hosted a gala this month and we went with Quince for our flowers. We had a great experience working with Quince and were really happy with the centrepieces and the bouquets that we ordered. The Quince team were easy to communicate with leading up to the event and knew the venue well so were able to make recommendations about the colour palette and seasonal flowers to incorporate. We received lots of compliments at the event from our guests! We will definitely work with Quince again!

I needed some flower bouquets for the women that attended my birthday party so I swung by Quince instead of going the supermarket route. Rosie was knowledgeable and super nice and created some amazing bouquets for under $20. Highly recommended!

Yelp
I got the most glorious bouquet/flower arrangement from Quince - a friend sent it and it was extraordinary. Beautiful and the flowers etc lasted for 10 days. Loved it and eternally appreciative to the friend who sent it for my birthday on January 14, 2025 and to Quince for the fabulous floral delight. I wanted to email Quince my thanks but can't find an email. So this is my THANK YOU!!!!!

Yelp
Went and bought a small bouquet for a photo shoot. Paid $6 for this stem I don't know what flower this is but I feel like that's extremely expensive.

Yelp
I felt as if I was invisible. 3 employees and just me and another customer in the store. I actually followed one employee around as he served another customer. No acknowledgement during the 10 minutes I was there. Other two employees had their heads done working on floral arranging: not permitted to serve customers I'm guessing. Maybe there was so much plant foliage in the store, I was hidden from view. Almost an uncomfortable experience.

Yelp
They have the most beautiful amaryllis bulbs I've ever seen. They also give you good directions on growing them. They'll be on my dining room table throughout the winter.

Yelp
I went in after months of passing this store by to browse around and was not impressed by the service. I was ignored by the sales person for the entire time I was walking around the store, and at one point when I was looking at some pots on a shelf she reached in front of me across my chest (no actual contact but definitely within personal boundary space) to get something off the shelf. No eye contact, no saying excuse me. It was like I was a ghost she couldn't see. When I finally decided on an item to purchase I had to track her down and she acted apathetic to the sale. Now maybe she had a bad day or was tired after a long shift, which I get because everyone has those days, but I don't think it's that hard to say hello when a customer walks in or excuse me when you're reaching in front of them to get something. I'm not someone who expects doting service, but I do expect staff to be helpful when I need them. The plants themselves seemed good and I would only go back if they stock plants that I can't find elsewhere. I'd definitely not go here counting on good service. TL;DR flowers are good, staff ignore you

Yelp
TERRIBLE experience at Quince Flowers. Sales associate was extremely rude and passive aggressive when answering my questions. I will never shop there again. Just awful service.

Yelp
Very disappointing customer service. My sister and I wanted a very special arrangement sent to my parents on the day of their 50th Wedding anniversary and I guess my sister had either had good experiences with Quince or had heard good things. So we ordered an arrangement (cost $185) to be delivered the day of their anniversary, which was Friday. Turns out that my parents had unexpectedly left for the weekend. So the delivery person left the arrangement at the neighbor's house and my parents returned home on Monday to find the flowers mostly dead. I understand that it's not Quince's fault that my parents weren't home (we had no idea they were away). However, don't most florists have a plan in place for recipients not being home? It would have been nice if they had called my sister to find out what to do. We would have much preferred that they take them back to refrigeration and my parents could have picked up themselves on Monday. The neighbor was not happy to be left with the delivery. And why were the flowers mostly dead only three days later? The employee was quite friendly when my family members called to complain and suggested that the store could offer some kind of credit. However, when my mother spoke to the owner she said the owner was very snippy about it which offended my mother. All in all, given the cost of the arrangement, and given the circumstances, I think the florist could have done a much nicer job of making some kind of conciliatory gesture. We're talking about an arrangement of almost $200!! And the occasion was special and we were hoping for a nice experience for my parents. I'd love to be able to update this post and tell you all that Quince made good but I'm not sure that's likely to happen.

Yelp
I am a huge fan of Quince Flowers. Not only are their arrangements incredibly beautiful, but they are wonderful people to work with. I had Genevieve and her team design my flower arrangements for my wedding and their design skills, service, and attention to detail were exceptional. I wanted flowers that had a contemporary feel but not too architectural-- and they understood exactly how to translate the design elements in my wedding into the floral design. We had a slew of compliments from our guests on the exquisite quality and taste level of the arrangements. We didn't have a huge budget to work with for flowers compared to other weddings, but they made it a point to stick to our numbers and produce the best they could within the given framework. Since then, I've purchased arrangements as gifts from Quince and each time they have done an exceptional job.

Yelp
ive popped into quince flowers twice now and not bought anything. and not because i didnt want to. it feels tropical and festive in there. its flush with beautiful displays, cactii, large plants, dry flowers, interesting pots, small plants and a fridge full of vibrantly coloured flowers. as you walk up to the side street entrance, they have it lined with large vases, and other cool plant accesories. both times i went in there were two different sets of staff. the first time, it was two men, and the second two women. all four were very welcoming, and knowledgeable...so much so that i tried to describe a plant i bought somewhere in east chinatown and they were able to give me a name for it which to be expected was not available when i got it. i also asked them how to take care of a particular plant which i had my own version of at home and they were delighted not only to tell me how, but to also give me the tag that was tied to the gargantuan lovely one they had in the store for me to take home. Each plant that is there has a large tag on it with its name, care instructions and price written on it and they are very easy to read. i will come back here the next time need a bouquet and/or an addition to my own little jungle at home.

Yelp
This shop is truly special!!!! The florists are artists, the quality is outstanding! Stunning!!!!!! Fantastic staff...so knowledgeable!

Andrew W.

Yelp
Terrible in all aspects! Poor service, poor product and over priced! It doesn't get much worse for a flower shop... Flowers were wilted when we got them and they died without ever opening. Brought them back to show the staff and I've never been treated so poorly! They did nothing to remedy the situation even though it was clearly a poor product that they had sold me.

Yelp
I've been in here three times and have never been acknowledged or greeted. This past weekend I was looking around and was shocked to see that they are selling cotton plants. This did not sit well with me, so I asked to speak to the manager, Chloe. She didn't seem to understand the issue and then told me that she isn't actually the manager and that if I have an issue, to reach out to the owner. After speaking to the owner, I don't think I can step foot in this store again, it is obvious that she too, is uneducated on slavery and racism.

Yelp
My gf called from California to arrange a delivery of offbeat flowers, sticks, tillandsia, no roses, etc. for my birthday. Something original, untraditional -- with items included that would live on past the rest of the arrangement. She was very happy with the service she received, and she felt understood but the bouquet (tho expensive), had roses and 2 tiny tillandsia on their last legs. No sticks, nothing offbeat as discussed. It's a very pretty, feminine arrangement of pinks and lilac shades, but that's not what she wanted for me. I feel badly that she spent $100 and that the air plants don't look like they'll make it after the rest of the flowers die. Pretty, with great presentation, but not what she had asked for. The delivery guy also took my flowers to the wrong unit, even though it was clearly written on the arrangement. Thankfully, I received them. They got the card right, which was great.

Yelp
I'm very sorry to have to write this review of this store. I was upset to be breaking up with my boyfriend on the phone, so found a quiet little bench by a tree to sit on while we spoke, so I could have some privacy. I was not sitting on any plants. A man from the store came out, seeing me visibly crying, and said I was sitting on plants and did I not see the sign (I was not). When I explained I was breaking up with my boyfriend, could he have a little sympathy, he just ignored me. I was planning on going in after my call and buying a $200 + tree (which is why I was sitting there), and have been a customer there before. Not anymore! Great they care about plants. I think they are working on the people part.

Yelp
I just got off the phone with Dean from Quince flowers and felt compelled to write a review (which has never happened to me before!) He was just such a pleasure to talk to. So helpful and delightful. I'm from out of town and needed to order flowers and was given the name of this place from someone local. I was first put off by the fact that I couldn't just order online in this day and age but the phone call really didn't take too long. After I hung up I was actually happy that I had to make the call instead of ordering online. When does that ever happen? Thank you Dean for your wonderful service!

Deb M.

Yelp
I only ever get Quince flowers as a gift, and the arrangements are always the most beautiful I've ever seen. And then, in two days, everything is dead. Every. Single. Time. My house is never without flowers, so it's not that I'm doing something that's killing them. All the others last for at least a week. So I'm happy to keep receiving these spectacular bouquets if someone else is paying for them, but it'll never be me ordering anything here.

Sandra C.

Yelp
Thank you, thank you, thank you for the incredible job done on my bouquet, the boutonnieres and corsages for the wedding. I was floored when I saw them! We got compliments about the flowers all night. Everyone thought they were so chic and seasonal. You truly went above and beyond what I envisioned. Thank you Erica and the team at Quince for all of your help!

Jennifer H.

Yelp
I really enjoyed my experience at Quince. Staff were very friendly, honest and helpful. The interior of the store is also very beautiful. I do wish there was a bit more variety, but I would definitely visit this store again.

Douglas S.

Yelp
Overpriced and snobby. Cost nearly double what Ladybug cost for delivery. Quince is 300 meters from the delivery. Ladybug is 7 km. Similar flowers better on phone, lower cost delivery. Quince lost my business due to over price and snobbish behaviour. Ladybug had gotten many repeats from me.

Yelp
Quince Flowers used to be my "go-to" place for flowers. Literally went there every time I needed to buy a bouquet. My last 2 experiences weren't great and I think it was the particular floral arranger that I got this time. I asked for $40 bouquets each time. One was in a vase and it was so amateur-loooking. The gentleman who I dealt with was pleasant (I'm not sure his name but he had a wrist brace), however, I felt like he didn't know what he was doing. There were literally 3 large flowers in the arrangement and the rest were "filler" greens or small flowers. I figured the vase cost a lot of money so I decided to give it one more shot. I went in for another $40 bouquet, which I find at other floral shops (notably Kay & Young on Avenue Rd) gives a reasonably sized bouquet. I usually find $50-55 a little too large (yet beautiful) so I save those for certain occasions. Anyway, the $40 bouquet (without the vase) was literally 3 gerbera daisies, 2 roses and 2 tulips. Gerbera daisies and tulips are cheap flowers to begin with, so for that few flowers to be $40 is absurd. I even asked for one additional flower to be added and the guy told me "I was already above $40" - it literally looked like a $20 bouquet. My boyfriend bought me a bouquet from Kay & Young for $50 and it had 6 roses, 7 tulips, 4 stargazer lilies, 3 dahlias plus a few filler flowers. It was SO large and so full. Can't say I didn't try with Quince but never again.

Yelp
My 2 stars are for my most recent expeerience with Quince Flowers. I have used them many times for conveniance and for their selection on non traditional floral arrangements and plants. Yes their customer service is sometimes sketchy but whatever, I am pretty good at knowing exactly what I want in person and long distance ordering. This time it was a very special occassion and it wasn't about size or grandour but the right choice. I needed their help because it was a call in order and to say I was disppointed at how my very clear request was interpretated is an understatement. What made the lazy choice for a big birthday and specail occassion even worse was the response. Sorry it was not to your taste.......no how about your associate didn't listen and missed the boat entirely on what I asked for. The 2 stars are for past gifts that were bang on. You have lost a long standing customer QUINCE.

Yelp
I was out of town for Valentine's Day this year and called Quince to whip up something nice for my significant other. They were easy to work with and created a stunning arrangement. Their designs are very modern and unique and are much hipper than your typical floral arrangements. If you want to send something a little funky that gets noticed... Quince is the place.

Kate K.

Yelp
Quince created a glorious spring arrangement for a family funeral recently. We worked directly with the owner over the phone, requesting a spring arrangement full of life and movement and boy did she deliver. The flowers provided a focal point of vibrant colour and creativity for all at the service and, later, we were able to divide them into smaller bouquets for several family members (at the suggestion of the owner). Friends at the funeral remarked on the beauty of the flowers on an early, almost spring day in March. Creative, skilled and helpful service. Thank you.

Julia D.

Yelp
This is a really long over due review. This place is near my house. It's not my go-to place for run of the mill flowers but they gave me amazing service one time when I really needed it -- way above and beyond, and they deserve to be recognized for that. I called needing an emergency gift for a friend's birthday. Not only did the person there photograph multiple options, but I then paid over the phone AND THEN, when I couldn't get there before 6pm or after 10am (as needed to be in office after 6pm and before 10am) they HAND DELIVERED --FOR NO EXTRA COST-- the plant and left it on my doorstep. I was blown away. She just asked me to testify to this amazing service by writing a review....and I am remiss in letting several months go by before doing it. Huge credit to the staff there. Thank you; you saved my bacon; you deserve this awesome review. (PS: I only live two blocks away from the store, so I wouldn't expect this kind of hand-holding should you live further than this. Also, it's kind of a once in a life time, involves a lot of pleading thing. But still. Special.) THANK YOU QUINCE FLOWERS!!!

Matan G.

Yelp
I live in a different city and was impressed with their website photo displays. I didn't really know what kind of bouquet I wanted to get my girlfriend (for no particular occasion) but they asked me to describe her and her interests and accordingly made a bouquet from my descriptions. They nailed it. I can't express how happy I am. Thank you so very much

Susan L.

Yelp
I have been the very fortunate recipient of Quince flowers - twice in the last 6 months. I have been completely impressed with the arrangements, quality of the flowers and their long lasting duration. During the instances that I received Quince flowers, I have also received flowers from other high end florists. It has been remarkable to see how the Quince flowers have outlasted the beauty of their competitors! We were even away when the flowers were delivered to our condo, and while it took 2 days before our flowers were unwrapped they still looked magnificent. ( It may, however, be a good idea in the future for Quince to confirm that someone will be home to receive the flowers) I am looking forward to the occasion to send Quince flowers to my friends!

Lisa M.

Yelp
I LOVE Quince Flowers. The selection is amazing and the arrangements are stunning. I have ordered arrangements from them and have been complimented on how beautiful they are. They leave an impression.

Allison H.

Yelp
As a P.S. to my previous post, flowers from Quince are always remarkably fresh and last for days. That is why I was so surprised by the fast-fading hydrangeas.

Julie C.

Yelp
I notice that some of the earlier reviews (2008-2009) are quite good. Maybe there have been changes. My experience with the staff is that they are not overly friendly, helpful or knowledgeable. Twice I have purchased plants here (one for $80) that died - the staff were not knowledgeable about how to care for them. Recently I stopped in to ask advice about a plant that had bugs - I was able to identify the bug but they had no idea how to help me. And they sell plants! Also very very outrageously expensive. Will never shop there again.

Sacha N.

Yelp
Love this place! Staff are friendly and know what they are talking about. Designs are stunning, current and modern. Truly floral art. Wish I could buy a bouquet a week!

Georgette S.

Yelp
Wow, I have to say it has been a while since I have received customer service as horrible as what I received at Quince. I ride past the shop every morning on my way to work and I thought one of these days I will need to make a trip down when the store is open. Honestly, it was a wasted trip. They did have some lovely plants and beautiful flowers but I felt like all I was to the sales person was an unwanted annoyance. She even encouraged me to leave before I was ready to go by telling me to exit out of the back door. I asked about a plant they had out on their store room floor with other merchandise and she said it was an orphaned plant and didn't feel it was "sellable". Then why was it there? It really felt like it was just too much bother for her to even sell it to me. I was tempted to purchase another plant they had but out of principle I left and I won't be back!

G M.

Yelp
I am a huge fan of flowers, and am always searching for florists who offer something creative, unusual and elegant and Quince caught my eye. I ordered a large funeral arrangement in memory of a Board member who had pased away. The piece was stunning but the customer service, quite frankly was and continues to be appalling. The woman who took my order over the phone was not particulary sympathetic to the cause or my specific interests. I paid by VISA and was assured that I would receive an email invoice as soon as my order was processed. The day after placing the order, I received a phone message indicating that they charges for my order would appear as two separate entries on my invoice and on my VISA for some bizarre reason. Two and half weeks and 3 reminder phone calls later, I have yet to receive my invoice or an explanation as to why I haven't received one. Nor have I received a further phone call informing me of a further delay. Each time I call I am assured that they know about that and it will be forthcoming. One time I called and the woman who answered commented on how unusual that was, while in the background someone else who was overhearing suggested that she not deal with it as they knew all about it. Not helpful to me! And having received my VISA bill today, yes there are two entries of different amounts on my VISA,bill, yet I only placed one order. I hope my auditor understands that- if I ever do receive the invoice. I find the whole thing totally bizarre, quite inexplicable and have no idea what is going on. At this point I am wondering if my full order was even placed. Perhaps someone else received half my flowers. I have never had an experience like this with any retail establishment. Unfortunately I will never use them again and would recommend that others stay away. Too bad as they do have beautiful flowers.
