I spent a couple hours here one summer afternoon enjoying a few drinks and taking in the ambiance. It’s quite a cozy Irish pub that seems to have a group of regulars who give the bar a welcoming feel. I’ll definitely drop by again when I’m in the neighborhood.

A fun Irish bar that's been around since the 60s great atmosphere to see you favorite Irish band!

Quinn & Tuites is a local treasure. Not only is it the best Irish Pub in Grand Rapids, but the atmosphere is always a happy crowd and there is a pool table and multiple dart boards for good times with friends. That’s not even mentioning the staff! They are fun and pleasant…and all look like they just walked off a fashion runway in Milan; and Rory? He looks like a Greek (or should we say, Irish) God that graced us all on an excursion from Olympus. The sheer power and beauty which emanates from him is awe inspiring and makes one feel fortunate just to be blessed with his presence. Oh, and St. Patrick’s Day at Quinn & Tuites is da bomb.

Great place to stop in for a drink, chilling, pool and music!

If you get the bartender who looks like Ryan Reynolds (I'm a big jerk and didn't get his name), you will be super impressed by his ability to handle a thousand complicated drink orders and tabs at once, while still joking and smiling. It was pre-St. Patrick's day when we went, very busy, and he still remembered our name when we left 😁

Moved nearby recently and this weekend was my first chance to drop in. They have Harp on tap, which I couldn't find in my hometown, so that's awesome by itself. Otherwise, the drinks were cheap, the patrons were chatty and the lighting was mellow....all the things I love about a proper Irish pub. I look forward to making this a regular stop.

Never had food here but the bar and drinks do not disappoint. There are not many of these local gems left so get there while you can.

Yelp
This place is amazing! We are visiting from Austin and Pandora and Jazzy are seriously AMAZING. they are some of the best bartenders we've had ever and we live in a bar capital. This place is my favorite ever and cannot wait to come back.

Yelp
This neighborhood spot seems small from the outside, but it's pretty big inside with a large area in the back with multiple dartboards, a pool table, and shuffleboard. There is another pool table in the front area too. Nate and I stopped in to Quinn and Tuites on a Saturday evening around 9 and it was a lot less busy than I expected. It was pretty quiet compared to my go-to dive bars, which was a pleasant surprise. The drinks were strong, and the bartender was super friendly and nice. They allow you to bring food in, and I saw several people who had subs from Rinaldi's next door, which is super convenient. We parked in the lot near Creston Brewery which I think is fine unless you park there overnight. There's some street parking in front too. I don't spend a lot of time in this part of town, but I liked hanging out at Quinn and Tuites and would stop in again if invited!

Yelp
Worst experience ever. One star seems too generous. The minute we walked in my friends and I were judged by the staff and several regulars. Bartender had an attitude towards us after it took her 10 minutes to acknowledge us. Was only nice when she was looking for a tip from us. I would not recommend coming here for a nice relaxing dive bar experience.

Yelp
Very disgusted with everyone's lack of Covid protocol! Management doesn't care which leads the the clientele apparently. Sorry we stopped here but glad to share with others that might want to avoid this atmosphere right now. If I could give less than a 1 I would.

Yelp
Cool little authentic Irish bar made me feel like I was back in Dublin ireland! Definitely will come back

Yelp
WOW! Went to Flanagan's downtown on St. Patrick's Day (my 66th BIrthday) and was SOOO disappointed with what was billed as an "Irish" bar. Went to Quinn's on my way home, and what an amazing experience!!! This place is the real deal. The atmosphere, the music... A VERY Irish Grand Rapids experience!!!

Yelp
Great place, staff is fun, bands a Rockin and the beer is flowing. One of the best Irish Pubs in Grand Rapids. Grab a pint, sing some songs and make some friends.

Yelp
Strong drinks and no bullshit here at Quinn's. It's full of all types of folks on any night and live music. This place is a riot on St. Paddy's day. The bar tenders are real cool and make them strong. It's just a cool neighborhood Irish Pub.

Yelp
Wow -- WORST customer service I've ever gotten (or not gotten) in my entire life. We went to the pub on a recent weeknight. Online, there is no menu, but an indication that they serve food. It says they have a "limited menu". We walked in and sat down at a table. After 25 minutes of no service, we got up and left. As we walked out, the bartender looked at my SIL questioningly, and she explained that we had been looking for some dinner. The bartender said, "We don't have a waitress til 7pm and we only serve three things anyway." Now, I totally understand that we were apparently supposed to walk up to the bar to order, but you'd think one of the bartenders would have bothered to walk over and tell us that. It would have taken two minutes. I will never be visiting again for any reason.

Yelp
This place has personality, or should I say multiple personalities. On any evening it looks like a quiet neighborhood bar. Then sometimes they have open mic with talents of varied levels and tastes. As the name implies, Quinn's is Irish to the core and shows it when called for. The cozy music venue also hosts punk and Celtic live. Give them a try.

Yelp
This place is just really sad. Buncha sad folk sitting around drinking shite beer looking like they could use a good shower and a possible investment in in a new pair of shoes this decade. It smells like a place that was HEAVILY smokey pre-ban and that they haven't really done anything to clean or deodorize since. Or ever for that matter. Our bartender was sub-par at best and seemed annoyed that we were there to give her our money. (hello! That's how you make money!) Nothing really Irish about it either; it's just riding the Irish train. I am all about a good dive bar. Love them! But this has jumped the shark into dirty-sad-bar territory. No good. As my brother put it best: "you just don't go to that place unless it's St. Patty's day". I concur!!

Amanda L.

Yelp
As neighborhood dive bars go, this one has it all. Dark lighting, pool tables, drink special on domestic beers, and a slight musty, basement-like odor. It's much larger inside then I expected walking up to the door, with a separate back area that had a musician playing this past Saturday night. They don't have a kitchen, rather I'm told they heat up frozen and refrigerated items in a microwave behind the bar. As a reference point for those familiar with Grand Rapids, Quinn & Tuite's reminds me of a West Side Polish Hall, both in its size and interior appearance. But make no mistake: it's an Irish bar thru and thru. I know they do a really big St. Patty's day event every year and after visiting this past weekend, I want to make it over here this coming St. Patty's to see the festivities.

Yelp
quinn and tuties Irish pub means more to this city and neighborhood than these reviews give it credit for. Quinn and tuties is not the fanciest bar in town, nor the best looking or the most extravagant, but there is one thing this bar does have in spades: is its character and a very welcoming atmosphere. I grew up not far from Quinn and tuties and I know the neighborhood well enough to say this is the local "cheers" bar where when you walk in everyone knows your name what you want and how you want it. This is not just a bar this is a commitment to this city, many walks off life walk in to this bar and many more stumble out with a good story and some new friends and if your lucky maybe you won't leave alone. My father came to this bar when it was spearows, my family goes there now as Quinn and tuties it is not just a "local bar" it is Grand Rapids history. TL;DR: the bar is a local commodity. If you go there enough it becomes very familiar to you and your taste and will accommodate to taste. This is not the fanciest bar in town, but it's far from the worst Never ate here so I can't speak on the food.

Yelp
There's a difference between the places you take a date and the places you go with the guys to get a drink. Quinn & Tuite's definitely leans to the latter. Forget those other pretentious places, here you'll find a nice selection of Irish whisky, friendly staff, and celtic inspired bands. There are pool tables and darts. This place is hopping every St. Patrick's Day. But man do I wish they offered food. I think bars should at least offer a selection of appetizers, but you won't find that here.

Ethan N.

Yelp
Based on the previous and only four reviews, I'm thinking this "Irish Pub" is a bust. Any successful business would be more on top of customer service and not poor a strong drink; ya don't make money on strong drinks and only three food options (as mentioned on a previous post).

Mick L.

Yelp
No pretensions allowed here. This is the real deal as far as Irish joints go. A fine working class pub where one can go to enjoy a bit of the craic, solve the problems of the world, drink a jar of the dark stuff, and enjoy some music. If you are looking for fine dining, get it before you drop in. But they make a fair hot dog and you will probably leave having made a new acquaintance or two.

Marcia S.

Yelp
I've been here twice now because I wanted to give it a 2nd try but I really was disappointed. Having been to real Irish pubs in Ireland and enjoying the experience, I was hoping for something similar here. I knew about ordering at the bar, because that is how it worked in Ireland too. The beer order was reasonably fast but trying to get any food is a joke. The first time I ordered the Deluxe Chips and Cheese and although it did take a long time to come out it was good. The second time I ordered the Cheeseburger basket. It took an hour to get that. The bun was cold and I had to ask for the pickle that was suppose to come with it. The bartender cooks the food too and it was very clear that she really didn't want to be bothered with food orders. The music (not live when I was there) being played was not Irish either. Apparently, a local pizza place will deliver to Quinn and Tuite's and I saws several pizza orders being delivered to other patrons while I was there...so maybe that would be an option if I go here again.
