Quinns

Pub looks quite inviting from the outside, decent music playing, real fire, decent measure of Baileys and Guinness was good. However the place does not bear to close an inspection and the toilets are in dire need of a refurb and apparently the ladies is worse than the men's!

Stumbled across this pub yesterday whilst on a Camden pub crawl. It looks rough from the outside (which I think adds to it) but is a fantastic drinkers pub which a great atmosphere. Very friendly bar man and a great pint of Guinness. Will be back 👍

Would rate this place a -100 if possible. Owner was rude and very disrespectful to our group while we were there. We had a group of seven of us go in to grab drinks and sit down. 4 of us ordered a pint and sat with the rest of our friends. The pub wasn't super busy and there were empty tables around. While we were sitting down drinking, the owner came over and told the 3 members of our group that weren't drinking to leave. Not only have I never seen something like that before, but he did it in a very rude manner and then wouldn't have a conversation with us after. Don't give this place your money.

Came for drinks, was nice. Place was just very cold (freezing outside). We were sitting next to the fireplace but had to keep our jacket on because it was so cold. Beers and stuff were great tho!

Surprisingly nice inside. In contrast to the outside. Good pint of Guinness. Toilets also pretty grim, but sadly a bit of a feature for several pubs in the area.

A great chill place for a drink and a chat! Staff's great and friendly, other customers seem quite friendly, too. It IS an irish pub with exception that they do no longer do meals. Pub snacks like crisps and nuts are best you'll get. Adore the place, to be honest. Sort of "mom and pop" pub with a decent sized beer garden AND front tables, too. And prices on drinks are cheapest or top 3 cheapest in camden.

Ropey from the outside full of heart on the inside. Staff were so friendly and welcoming. A really traditional pub feeling.

It was a bit quiet for a Friday, but I can't help but like this place. It has an atmosphere all of it's own and the beer is good. Decent selection of Belgian beers in the fridge with Kriek and Delirium on draft. The people here were greatm

A fantastic old man's pub. This place is super relaxed, even on the weekends. It's the kind of pub you seek out after other pubs close, or someplace quiet to hang out after work. The music is never loud, and it never gets as crowded as its Camden counterparts just down the road. It's a really good place to go if you've just come out of a gig and are feeling a little over stimulated but not quite ready for your kebab yet. They've also got a decent outdoor seating area, so you can have a cigarette without being crammed between the building and a flimsy rope. The whole pub speaks of comfort, and is a rare find so near to Central London.

The worst experience I've ever had in a pub. I'm angry that I have to even give it one star. This old man threw us out because one of us (in a group of 6) didn't want to order a drink just yet ! He was clearly drunk on the job. He physically pushed us towards the door, swearing and threatening us, with one of us left with scratches on his wrist. He then went and stood outside, saying 'enjoy your sad night you have nowhere else to go !' Couldn't recommend less

This one is nice one. A bit of a hidden gem in Camden, just down the same road as the World's End if i recall properly, but a bit away from Camden's main roads. This was our friend's-birthday-pub-crawl 2nd stop. It was apparently highly recommended by some of his other friends so here we go. At first we thought it was closed for it was almost empty. I'm afraid its location isn't ideal to draw in the Camden crowd. What a pity ! The Quinns is big, with a lot of sitting area. It looks like an old gentlemen's pub (which i mean in the way of nice old folks, nothing else), and its tenants are an old couple backed by two young men. They were all lovely and the owner let me play with his dog, Sarah. Quite an impressive beast that one (the dog, not the owner). We had the pub for ourselves and there were quite a lot of us after everybody caught up. We stayed a bit and i had the immense pleasure, and i mean it, to discover they were serving quite a number of Belgium beers (some of the finest), and more precisely, Delirium. Didn't think i'd find that beer in England. I was so happy i actually repeated to all my friends "omg, they have Delirium" like a broker record, probably to the point of annoying them severely. However, the Belgium beers are bottles, not draft. I liked that pub's atmosphere. I will probably come back for a quiet beer with friends. The toilets were very clean. Thanks for that.

Quinn's is the archetypal family pub. Young and old sit together to watch Sunday football. Teenagers were also aboard enjoying the sanctuary from the rain. Quinn's décor is decidedly old country. China pots and plates adorn the walls alongside pictures of distinguished gentlemen. Seating is plentiful and well looked after. There was a certain smell inside that wasn't pleasant, but I am putting that down to many of the patrons smelling like wet dog. The extremely long bar is expertly run by an ageing yet clearly experienced bar team. There is a great selection of draught beers and seeing as I was hungry I ordered the Sunday Roast. It had all the good stuff, beef, puddings, potatoes and seasonal veg, drenched in gravy. It was good for £8 but nothing to sing and dance about. Quinn's will never be a go-to place for me, but it is a fairly decent, huge pub that sells cheap booze.

Young and old rub shoulders in Quinn's, it's just that kind of bar. You see the hundred year old crusty locals with the young, hip yuppies that seem to have taken some kind of wrong turn on their way to a much cooler Camden club. But there is something a little bit cool about this place. You can always get a seat? The terrifying condition of the toilets? Nah, it's the amazing variety of beers and ales they seem to stock. Cindy ordered a Delirium Tremens? I've never even heard of an ale with pink elephants on it. It was slightly odd that everyone was drinking their beers out of lipton ice tea glasses. We had a blast in this bar, but mostly because of the company not the atmosphere or even the women playing cards who screamed at me to shut up. Nice. The owner of the bar is a really nice guy though. He gets a star.

Quinn's was a pub that many of my ex colleagues frequented, one being particularly obsessed with Belgium for some reason and Quinn's was his perfect pub - there's a huge selection of Belgium beers on tap here. Sadly, this is all I really found Quinn's had to odder. I would never really go out of my way to come to Quinn's. I've had some great nights there because of the company and, yes, the fact there are so many Belgium beers on tap is good but this does not a great pub make! I found the pub to be slightly lacking of character. If this was your local it would be pretty cool but it's not mind blowing at all.

This is a slightly odd looking late night staple not far from the main part of Camden. Was initially worried that our visit might be a dud, when I saw just Abbot on the tap, butwow check out the fridge full of Belgian offerings saving the day. I generally prefer not to go down the bottle route, but they made for excellent alternatives. My wallet was less impressed though! This pub is a little over priced even if you manage to stay away from the exclusivities.

As Adore says - when Quinns actually closes is a consistent mystery that may well never be solved as it would involve someone leaving it and still being sober enough to rememberbearing in mind that people are normally half-cut by the time they get there - it seems unlikely it'll ever happen. A big bar once you get inside and a big space as well - Quinns does seem to have some tardis like qualities. It's a slightly odd atmosphere as it's half old school locals/half spill over from Camden looking for a drink - but it's absolutely fine so long as you're not on your own! It has a few TV's dotted around the place and because it's usually not that busy it can be a good place to catch a game. Having said that the pub doesn't really feel like it's been set up to watch sport and it can feel a bit like you are in a mate's massive back room watching their fairly decent, but not exactly huge TV. Not sure about the day - it's always seemed pretty dark in there and I can think of numerous bars around the area which are far nicer for a fat Sunday or quiet daytime pint and paper. Has to be said I haven't tried the food thereI suspect it might be a bit alarming. Good place for a late night would be my recommendation.

I am not actually certain what time this place closes. I was there on Friday night; we left around half past one, staggering a little, and the place was still full and still serving. Quinn's is on the Kentish Town side of Camden, a little removed from the markets and the tourist traps, so the crowd isn't generally aggressively subculture and it's not as hideously expensive as one might fear; well, unless you're drinking one of the truly immense selection of imported European beers. I am not kidding when I say they have a staggeringly comprehensive selection of Belgian beers, as well as more than a few from other countries. They also have a decent range of real ales on tap - on numerous taps, all the way down the bar. Oh yes, the bar. It's bigger than some pubs I've been in, so even when the place is full getting to it isn't that much of a struggle. There are a couple of flat-screen TV's in there, generally showing sport ((of the rugby and cricket rather than football flavours)), but tucked away muted in corners so they don't intrude. The decor is pretty modern, it's wallpaper and red upholstered benches rather than wood panelling and horse-brasses, given a sort of twenties class by elegant lamps and stained-glass signs behind the bar. Even on Friday night it doesn't get cruelly overcrowded, due to its size, and during the day it's empty enough to be a nice quiet place to retreat to with a book and a pint. You won't be made to feel unwelcome for drinking slowly, either. Quinn's is great and I urge you to pay it a visit if ever you find yourself in the area.

TERRIBLE PLACE - WOULD NEVER GO BACK I went to Quinn's last night and would never go back. The barman was rude and offensive. Quinn sells a selection of Belgium beer and whilst looking in the fridge to decide which one I wanted the man behind the bar gestured with his hand, to some punters, that my friends are I were w**kers for trying to decide which beer we wanted. Very very rude and rather odd behaviour. My boyfriend called the barman up on this and, as suspected, his response was just agressive and dissmissive. I would never go back and would never recommend this place to anyone. Belgo's in Camden town has a much better Belgium beer selection, minus the attitude and aggression.

Love this place - great range of bottled Belgian beers and a nice atmosphere for sitting and having a chat.

Walked into this pub and, had I not been about to pee my pants, I would have walked back out. The pub smelled quite bad, the toliets weren't clean and everything just had a dirty look to it beyond the typical Camden grunge pub look. Was NOT a fan, maybe if I'd tried the Belgium beers? But I'd have been a bit worried about drinking out of those glasses.... ick.

Something I think WHAT is missing in a lot of pubs in London nowadays is just being old fashioned, everything is very cosmopolitan now - not that this is a bad thing but sometimes it is nice to take a walk down memory lane and remember what pubs used to be like and i think this pub is perfect for that! The staff make you feel really welcome, the decor is traditional and there is a great range of beer. I would recommend this pub (located down old Kentish Road) to anyone!!

Quinns is one of the reasons we go to Camden. If you don't like licking ass and getting a dodgy look in the hope you might meet somebody famous, this is a place to have a beer. With a bar man as nice as Vince, the guy will bend over backwards for you, every year I've been he either buys us a drink or try's hook us up with free tickets. The pub has always been somewhere we visit and having a drink over looking a banksy should get it more credit. Can not recommend this pub enough, also a great choice of whisky.

Perfect place for nostalgia lovers like me, the old fashioned way is on the stage in this pub, really astonishing atmosphere.

Came in here unexpectedly when my car happened to break down outside and I had a long wait for the AA. It was an early Thursday evening, so the bar was pretty quiet, but there was a nice welcoming atmosphere and a lovely open fire at the back. I did not feel at all uncomfortable despite being on my own and having never been there before. The man behind the bar (assume the owner) could not have been more helpful and pleasant. I am glad to have found it and I'm looking forward to going back for Sunday lunch very soon.
