Had a truly wonderful meal here on a Friday night. We had a reservation and we were seated right away. Service was stellar throughout the night, even as they got busier. I LOVE the inside of this place. It's nice to see a restaurant with some color and personality! The atmosphere was fun and lively while still feeling intimate. We really enjoyed the food. They had some specials available when we went, including guacamole topped with elote, which was very tasty. The portion was a good size, more than enough for two (if not three or four people). We also ordered queso fundido with chorizo, which wasn't on any menu that I saw, but another table got it and so I asked what it was and if we could order it too. I'll admit that the queso fundido wasn't quite the consistency or taste profile I'm familiar with. It wasn't bad or anything - just not what I was expecting. For our meal, we split birria tacos. They were delicious - easily some of the best I've ever had. The consommé was a bit thicker than what I've experienced in the past and it was amazing. I loved the way it clung onto the tacos and added so much additional flavor. Everything was seasoned beautifully. I think the menu said it came with 3 tacos, but we got 4 (perhaps because they knew we were splitting the entree? not sure). Between the generous appetizer portions and the richness of the tacos, splitting the plate was a good idea. It was a lot of food. For dessert, we had the flan. It was closer to a cheesecake consistency than a custard, but it was very tasty. The caramel sauce was quite flavorful. Overall, a splendid meal with splendid service. It's a bit far away for us to come back to regularly, but we will definitely be back!

Google
I used my Google assistant to make the reservations for a party of 7 at this location, and that experience was easy and smooth. They followed up to confirm my reservations the day of, which I totally appreciated. The service was ok. I was mainly put off by being told that the child menu could not be utilized by an adult in our party who preferred that selection. Thankfully, after offering to pay more, they made accommodations. Overall, the food was fresh and tasty, but the service could use some attention. It could have been that there were not enough staff members to support the demand. I would recommend if you are understanding to minor service issues. Our bill for 7 adults and one child was $360, tip included.

Google
I’ve been meaning to come here for some time. I’m SO glad we finally did! Party of two reserved through Google Assistant without issue for a Friday night. We came early, just before the restaurant started filling up, and were sat immediately. Everything we ordered was a knockout. Highlights for me were the street corn appetizer, the birria tacos (w/added cheese. We agreed you don’t need to, it’s so flavorful even without, but the cheese definitely gave the melt-in-your mouth birria an extra flavor punch), and the yucca fries. The tortilla chip dips were also fantastic. If I’m honest, the Jamaica drink was much sweeter than I expected from the description—a bit too sweet for me—but overall we were blown away by the restaurant food and atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back and will recommend to others! We were already raving about it as we were walking out. Grateful to have Quinoa in the area

Google
Had a wonderful d8ning experience. Food was amazing. Many Gluten-free options for me and clearly marked on the menu. The servers were attentive without being pushy. Highly recommend and will be returning. We had Birria Tacos and A Lo Pobre.

Google
Visited on a weekend for lunch. No wait for a table. Friendly staff but service was a bit slow. Food was delicious and made up for the wait. Ceviche bowl was excellent, as was the street corn toast. Also enjoyed the plantains. Would definitely visit again.

Google
The food was pretty good. My wife loved the picante de mariscos with tacu tacu. I stole a bite and had to agree with her. I had the seafood paella, which was good, but I would have liked it if it had a little more moisture to the rice. The guacamole was wonderful. The service was great. Our waitress was very courteous and friendly. Overall, we liked the restaurant and will likely return.

Google
Delicious food and friendly service. We had lomo saltado and andino bowl with shrimp. Everything was delicious (and felt healthy), especially the shrimp in the andino bowl. Also tried Maracuya for a drink, which was refreshing. We'll be back!

Google
This is my favorite restaurant in Doylestown. All of their food is delicious and all of their food is gorgeous in presentation. Their drinks are delicious and their food is absolutely amazing. I would give 6 stars if I could. I love the mix of Peruvian and Mexican, they blend both countries cuisines so perfectly. Their desserts are amazing as well and a must try after every meal.

Yelp
I haven't been here in a long time ,but have gotten take out food once in a while. We went for an early dinner ,and LOVED it.I had the seafood paella and it was delicious. The staff were courteous and attentive. I will be back soon for another great meal,Pat

Yelp
Nice spot in town! Service was attentive and friendly. Option to sit In or out with a couple seats at high tops if solo. Clean and good options to accommodate dietary restrictions. Pretty presentation that went with good flavors. Will have to check out more items.

Yelp
Cool BYOB spot with a warm welcoming vibe. Family run. The salsa trio was good. The thick green salsa super flavorful but serious spice heat on the end. The thin green salsa is good and mild. The pico salsa is good and fresh with a lot of lime flavor. The rice is good but very dry and the black beans were average. Elote salad- the corn tastes ok, more of an earthy dirt flavor with no charred flavor. The dressing is super spicy. Chimichanga- Very crispy. Chicken is ok not much flavor but it's moist. Tastes like rotisserie chicken

Yelp
We were planning to go to another place but it was so crowded that I did a quick Yelp search of Quinoa (thank you Yelp), and we ended up in this cozy, brightly decorated, friendly spot! Servers were sweet and we really enjoyed our meals. We both had lunch bowls. I had the aji de gallina - white rice, lettuce, and chicken in a yellow Peruvian sauce. My husband had the lomo saltado - a skirt steak rice bowl. Both were delicious and big enough portions for us take home for an additional meal each. Affordable meals and BYOB. I'm planning to return for a lunch with my work team!

Yelp
Stopped by for dinner on a Thursday night with some friends and the restaurant was nearly empty so we were seated right away. The servers were very nice and prompt in taking our orders. I tried the chicken enchiladas which came with 3 different sauces! The enchilada sauces were all really flavorful and I loved how we were able to try 3 different flavors in one dish! Overall I was pleasantly surprised by the food here and would come back again to try some of the Peruvian options!

Yelp
My husband and I find ourselves here often! Being originally from the southwest, finding these flavors was so exciting for us! Everything is fresh and delicious and the service is welcoming and informative. I've seen so much care and kindness here. It's a joy.
google avatar

Carly M.

Yelp
The food could not have been any better! Everything was delicious - no notes. It's a fun atmosphere inside and love that it's BYOB. The service was slow, but we weren't in a rush and our server was so nice, so we didn't mind at all! We were happy to relax, chat, sip our wine and enjoy the food as it arrived. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
We're in the area from out of town so I searched for a good place for a late lunch/early dinner. The Yelp reviews brought us here. This place is not big, but very quaint & lots of ethnic decor to set the mood. The wait staff were very friendly & knowledgeable of their menu. My wife got the the Empanada sampler...homemade & tasty! I got the flounder entree with a side of Tacu Tacu. The fish was cooked perfectly & delicious. Our 1st time trying the Tacu Tacu...really good! Everything we had & saw coming out to others tables looked amazing! I would recommend going a little early since they seem to fill up quick @ meal time. ENJOY!

Yelp
After consulting Yelp, we opted for lunch at Quinoa between visiting Fonthill Castle and Mercer Museum. The fact that it was a Peruvian & Mexican restaurant is what drew us in. The 4 adults in my party, all went Peruvian and the kids went with Mexican fare, so everyone was happy. As we reviewed the menu, the server brought us some chips with some salsa and sauces. We ordered the Quesadilla, Burrito Bowl, A Lo Pobre Bowl, El Costeno, and Picante de Camarones Tacu Tacu. Although all the items were good, the Picante de Camarones was the most flavorful and delicious. They also offered some unique Mexican and Peruvian Drinks. Quinoa Peruvian & Mexican Restaurant is a nice little establishment with a colorful interior.

Yelp
I'm staying nearby for a business trip and while looking for somewhere delicious and healthy, I found this place on Yelp. It's located on a street filled with cute restaurants and shops. There's lots of metered street parking, but it took me a few minutes to find a spot. Service is fast & friendly. They even brought chips and salsa while I waited for my meal. I ordered the Andino bowl, which is packed with fresh ingredients. I added veggies, which were my favorite part--perfectly seasoned. It's a big portion for a great price. I'll definitely be back again!

Yelp
Friendly and accommodating servers Well decorated and comfy spot Solid margarita mix Guac was good not great Mexican street corn looked better than it was but it wasn't bad All of our entries were fantastic

Yelp
Quaint restaurant in the heart of Doylestown, the dishes served are presented well and the food is delicious! The pricing is a little more upscale but the atmosphere is casual.
google avatar

Yelp
We love Peruvian food and were excited to try a local Peruvian restaurant after enjoying the cuisine in the Miami area. Our dishes were very good. Great taste and beautiful presentation. The restaurant bills itself as Peruvian and Mexican, but curiously they were out of guacamole. One of my favorites, causa, was well prepared and delicious. The service was attentive. Overall, a positive experience and well worth returning to.

Yelp
OMG DELECIOUS Friendly service and nourishing. Everything is always so vibrant. Try the snapper, it's heaven.

Yelp
the food here was delicious. the music here and quality is very good. there was only one employee and the food still came out on time. the decorations everywhere throughout the restaurant are amazing. i highly recommend that you come here.

Yelp
This place needs to win all awards existing in the food industry! I may officially be a #1 fan. Everything is so delicious. Fresh. My husband and I are addicted and have begun eating here almost daily! Customer service is impeccable as well.
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing!!! Food was so fresh and delicious. Extra bonus. We were there on the anniversary date and there was live music.
google avatar

Vanessa G.

Yelp
Very tasty and satisfying. The drinks were and food was just soooo delicious. I'm definitely going to make my way back.. The service was excellent, and they were knowledgeable of vegan options. The restaurant was clean and brightly colored. The music was just right, not loud, but soft enough to have conversations.

Yelp
First time back since start of the pandemic, happily surprised to see the restaurant in their new space on E State Street a few doors up before the County Movie Theater. Alexis was our host and server, and both super friendly and helpful. We had a most wonderful experience and our bellies are quite happy. We started off with a round of two appetizers- Ceviche Limeno and the Tamale. Great start, Tamale was the best we've ever had. For dinner we ordered The Quinoa Balls which are highly recommend- black beans, chorizo, onions and Quinoa with jalapeño rocoto pepper sauce. Yummy and nice sharing plate. And for our main which we shared, the highly recommended Peruvian Lamb Stew Tacu Tacu. Wow!!!! A home run. The lamb is slow cooked for 48 hrs and the pieces were so tender and moist, can cut with a fork. The overall flavor profile was delicious. A lovely mix with Peruvian peppers and Chicha De Jora served over Tacu Tacu- Peruvian rice and beans. See our delectable photos

Yelp
There are many places where you can sample Mexican food but what about Peruvian? At Quinoa you can try both. We went Peruvian. A small plate of chips with a delicious salsa and 2 dipping sauces was brought to the table while we were checking out the menu. We tried the Ceviche Bowl which contained lettuce, rice and sweet potatoes (a feature I have not seen in ceviche before), Peruvian and Roasted corn and Tostones (fried plantain slices). I ordered the "mixto" which gave me shrimp, octopus and squid. It was very good along with being a very large portion. Our other entree was the Picante de Camarones Bowl. Again a very generous portion of black beans, avocado and shrimp in a Peruvian red pepper sauce. It also was very good. For drinks our server suggested we try 2 different ones: a very good Passion Fruit/Maracuya, (a light passion fruit drink) and the Chicha Morada, an "exotic drink made of purple Peruvian Corn". This was a great mix of flavors. Both are in-house made. Before tip, the bill came to around $47. Well worth the experience.

Yelp
Stopped in today a little before 4pm. The place was dead, but not for long. The staff is very polite. The restaurant is very clean and the decor is vibrant & wonderful. The food was very fresh & authentic. So flavorful! The portions are quite large and the price is great. So glad we stopped in today. We'll be back, for sure.

Yelp
Very busy and staff was overworked. Server was very knowledgeable about the menu and ingredients. Food was generally good. Many GF and vegetarian options. Although we ate indoors, there is some outdoor dining on State Street in historic Doylestown Borough.

Lynda L.

Yelp
First time here, close to when I was working today and open on a Monday. Great menu, friendly staff, and the andino bowl was delicious. Everything was fresh and flavorful. It was quiet today and looks like I might be the first done in customer though they have a sign that says they driver with Grubhub. Nice view of the street from the seat I chose. Later they turned on some background music playing songs in Spanish. Good place for lunch.

Yelp
Oh. My. Goodness. How do more people not know about the amazing value on Tuesdays only at Quinoa for Taco Tuesday? Normally it costs $21 for 4 "Tacos Mexicana" (with rice and beans) but on Tuesdays only you can get 2 tacos (vegetarian or about 4 proteins to pick from) or 4 tacos - no rice - no beans. I got 2 al pastor tacos for $5 - plus they bring 2 salsas (the mild tomatillo one is just delightful) and fresh corn tortilla chips for the table. The pork was juicy and flavorful and finally - some actual pineapple in my al pastor. (Alot of places you get 1 or 2 pieces - if any). Succulent grilled pineapple. Mmmmm! Pleasant service and cutesy Peruvian/Mexican decor. I will be back - and soon. And on a Tuesday or a Wednesday (3 course meal for $28). Five bucks? Amazing!!!! Do NOT miss Quinoa's Taco Tuesdays!
google avatar

Yelp
I think if I had the time to right a book about how great of an experience I had at Quinoa Peruvian & Mexican restaurant, I would! But I'll try and be concise! We came up to Doylestown on Wednesday night because we heard about their Local's night, which includes a 3 course dinner and margarita for $28. This is an absolutely incredible deal considering the quality of the food! We started with the complimentary chips and salsa, which was alright but obviously not what we were there for! The salsas were average, but the chips were nice and warm! Then we got the Ceviche Limona, which was INCREDIBLE! Definitely order some sort of ceviche while you are here! We used the chips from the chips and salsa to eat the ceviche, and the fresh tasting fish with nuts for a crunch and like to bring out the flavor... omg it was incredible! Then, the appetizer we got for the 3 course meal was the pupusa filled with chorizo and cheese, and topped with a cabbage slaw. This was absolutely incredible as well. I have had pupusas in the past that were super oily, but not this one! The cabbage slaw added a nice acidic flavor to cut through the chorizo! For the main dishes, we ordered the Peruvian Lamb Tacu Tacu, which was a 48 hour slow cooked piece of lamb over Tacu Tacu. This was single handedly one of the best bite of food I had during my 10 weeks in Philly! The sauce was so thick and rich, and the lamb was fork tender! The Tacu Tacu paired perfectly with it as well! The second entree was a part of the 3 course meal, and was a huge mojarra Frita! The tilapia had so much meat on it, and came with a side salad, rice, and tostones! It was fried perfectly, tasted amazing, and the sides paired perfectly with it! Lastly, for dessert we got the tres leches cake, which was super moist and topped with strawberry! I have had tres leches in the past that have come out dry, which is not how it's supposed to be at all, I know, so I've always been hesitant on ordering it. But this one was absolutely phenomenal! The staff here is super friendly, and gave awesome recommendations on what to order! There was rarely a time when my water glass was empty as well! Definitely come here on a Wednesday to check out their Local's night offering, as it was incredible!!
google avatar

Lulu L.

Yelp
Very good food with huge portion! Loved all the soda they provided. We only had lunch there, will definitely be back to check out more food.

M. Theresa C.

Yelp
So bad! Ordered the " snapper" tacos to take home and turned out the snapper was in the form of "pellets" inside a crumbling, stale, odd-tasting corn shell like blob. So bad we threw it away! My only regret was besides wasting $$$ I didn't get a picture to share with our readers. So disappointing! This place has gone from greatness to extremely lacking.
google avatar

Kim K.

Yelp
Wonderful place! After hitting the museums, we started looking for lunch. We totally lucked out! This place has flavorful, fresh food. The staff is friendly and accommodating. They offer some dishes and beverages we had never seen before and everything we tried was incredible. We live a good distance away. The food is so good, we made another trip to eat there again. Highly recommend.
google avatar

Susan D.

Yelp
Had a great 2nd experience at Quinoa. Went around 1pm; 2 outdoor tables were taken, so I went inside and had my pick of tables. Looked like 1 person working the floor and 1 chef. Menus, water, chips and salsa were received and I selected the Burrito Bowl with vegetables for lunch. It came out quickly and was a pretty presentation (see photo). I didn't care for the vegetables (couldn't tell what they were tbh) and they were easily pushed aside. Server was attentive and friendly, even during issues with the credit card system. I look forward to going back!

Tim W.

Yelp
overrated overpriced tasteless trash. frozen factory corn. dollar store meat glue "steak". always missing stuff with way overpriced delivery services. do yourself a favor and go somewhere that *actually tries* to make decent food.
google avatar

Russ W.

Yelp
Very disappointed tonight. Walked out after 1-1/2 hours and still didn't get my entree. And it was the Chef's special as well as highly recommended by our server. Will not even give this one star after tonight but Yelp forced you to give at least one star. This is a shame as we have gone here since they opened. Also supported this place frequently through the Covid lockdown. They lost a loyal customer.
google avatar

Kendra C.

Yelp
Absolutely incredible food! Charming relaxing atmosphere, perfect for date night or any night! The most flavorful food I've had in a long time. Wonderful friendly service. I was torn between many dishes and was recommend some fantastic options! Even their complimentary salsa trio is beyond delicious. Definitely go!!

Kim S.

Yelp
We had a terrific dinner at Quinoa last night. We both selected dinner 'specials' and were delighted with what we got - so freshly prepared and a very interesting mix of flavors. The service was excellent and the decor fun and bright. We'll definitely go back - and great adventure into trying something new!
google avatar

Yelp
Service is great, food is great. Always exactly what you order as no problem with takeout
google avatar

Fallon R.

Yelp
Everything I have ordered here has been fresh and delicious. High quality food and great service. Try something new, their menu is so unique and fantastic.

David R.

Yelp
We love going to Quinoa. It's been one of our favorite restaurants since we moved into the area. The food is always so fresh, and the service is always spot-on. Highly recommend

Yelp
After a long day, we tracked this place down to test out the stew. It turns out, they have a few very good dishes in the menu. I had the opportunity to try the street corn, lamb stew on tacu tacu, Red snapper on tacu tacu, and a shrimp dish. They all had an amazing flavor, but I was partial to the stew. It was a very tender dish with a nice flavor profile. I would definitely make a return visit. If I had to make one suggestion, it would be to use a little less salt while preparing the stew

Carly T.

Yelp
Great service and good selection of food on the menu. I will definitely be coming back to try more of the menu. I got the chicken quesadilla for the meal and guacamole for the appetizers and it was all so filling! The place is very clean, although on the small side, which is the norm for the places in the downtown area. There were a good amount of tables and seats around the restaurant, but again may feel cramped.
google avatar

Mike G.

Yelp
This place is amazing! I have had a chance to try multiple selections and everything was fabulous. There is so much I would like to try , especially done of their different ceviches. This place is not your average Mexican restaurant, it is unlike any other local place I can think of. If you like upscale Mexican cuisine this is a must visit place in Doylestown.
google avatar

Orli G.

Yelp
Red snapper tacos were delicious!! Try them you won't be disappointed. And their guac is great and consistent. Great local spot for authentic food.

Linnea B.

Yelp
There wasn't a single kernel of hominy in my pozole, the rest tasted OK, maybe you wont be disappointed if you just don't order pozole?
google avatar

Matt B.

Yelp
My wife and I had a lunch date and were very happy with the choice. Food was played to please the eye and the flavor was just as pleasing to the palate.
google avatar

David R.

Yelp
Got take out tonight - chicken mole because rice wanted Peruvian chicken but guess what - a Peruvian restaurant doesn't make Peruvian chicken. Ok so got my mole and when I say the chicken was tough - I mean really tough. Like inedible tough. I'll give them a pass and say it's a fluke. The mole sauce was ok - really loose and I'm pretty sure should be thicker for authentic mole. So tough chicken and a so so sauce so what's the big deal? I do over 20 bucks for that dish which was maybe 2 dollars of ingredients. I've got no problem paying for quality food but come on at least get basic chicken breast cooking right.
google avatar

Jen W.

Yelp
What a pleasant surprise. We happened upon this eatery on a trip to Doylestown and it did not disappoint!!! The Jamaican Hibiscus Tea looked every bit as good as it tasted. The table was provided complimentary chips and salsas, and the Mexican Street Corn was dressed to impress with tasty salsas. The best was yet to come when our lunch bowls arrived; Andino was seasoned and sauced perfectly and the Veggie Bowl with steak was grilled expertly. Our server, Sylvia, was attentive and paced the meal well. Will be back, with more friends. I now have a reason to go to Doylestown (and snag some gently loved used books at Central Books while I am in the neighborhood).
google avatar

Karin F.

Yelp
Delightful brunch consisting of Nod Sourdough with avocado and street corn - omg delish. The soup of the day was a hominy with chicken and tomato broth- perfect. The yucca that was fried with the street corn was amazing. The Peruvian hot chocolate was a hit. Will eat here again soon - fresh and carefully chosen ingredients. Perfect brunch.

Yelp
My wife and I came for a meal here on a Sunday evening. The service was good. I had a skirt steak with Cilantro. As people know I skip the starch because I am on a low carb diet. I asked for my steak rare, and it came that way but was cooked a little too much for me (but it was rare). The spice made the sauce quite tasty. I like my food spicy and this restaurant definitely for the bill in that space. Just one tip, if you like spicy sauces, their hot jalapeño sauce definitely is that. This sauce will spice up your food in a hot way. This is a BYOB establishment. Be aware, they do not accept AMEX and are a little pricy for what it is. The bottom line is the food is good and it is very representative of the Peruvian/Mexican area. Everything was quite acceptable but nothing made the night exceptional.
google avatar

Sue L.

Yelp
We had a chicken taco family meal from Quinoa. We loved the variety it offered and the portions were very generous. Everything was absolutely delicious! We had it delivered to our home and they followed the delivery instructions perfectly. Great customer service, wonderful selection of Mexican/Peruvian food, we highly recommend this restaurant!

Yelp
Very good and very fresh tasting. I had the ceviche bowl and my wife had the burrito bowl and very happy with the guacamole we shared. The chick's morada drink was also very good. I will have to come back here again.
