Quintessenza Ristorante

Recently relocated on a terrace with wonderful views on Trani medieval castle, the Di Gennaro family built a close to perfection fine dining Apulian experience. The restaurant is beautiful both inside and outside, refined and perfectly blended in the environment. The service was excellent, kind and friendly with invading our spaces. The restaurant had also no problem into accommodating variations on the menu proposed. But let’s come to the reason to come here, the gastronomical offer of Quintessenza is deeply rooted into the chef local background, relying on seafood and not being afraid of using staples of the regional cuisine twisting them into something more. The menu we tried was a crescendo in intensity and depth but keeping its balance all the way through from the amuses to the dessert. Personal favourites are the Tortellini and the Fusillone with a mention for the Alici fritte and the Coffee almond and lemon dessert.

This is one of those experiences you don’t want to miss! Everything was great - food, wine list, location, atmosphere, service - perfection! Dishes with lots of miles behind and food made with love. Absolutely loved it!

As I reflect on my visit to this place, I find myself struggling to find the right words to describe it. The beauty of every detail is strikingly impressive, especially the food they serve. I haven't come across another place that even comes close to matching the excellence of this one. The table at the winery is an experience that you simply can't afford to miss. It's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that you'll cherish forever.

An exclusive restaurant, very professionally run by four brothers. The warm welcome and communication throughout the dinner left an indelible impression. The dishes surprise not only with their taste combinations, but also with their unique stories. Undoubtedly, Quintessenza is a place where you want to come.

One of the best dining experiences we have ever had! This beautiful venue is host to a team of amazing staff who are truly passionate about what they do. The food was delicious! We had the tasting menu and went for wine pairing too, every dish was full of flavour and the simple use of fantastic ingredients along with perfect seasoning and finesse in the delivery of each plate of food made for an overall five star meal. The wines were both unusual and tasty and each wine went well with the dish it was presented with. We started with a fantastic local sparkling wine as well which blew us away! The staff were so attentive, friendly and smiling and taking care of our every need and question. We would highly recommend this as a must visit restaurant if you have the budget and are visiting Trani!

If I am in Trani, I have to dining in at this restaurant. Is a must go for me. Only one word… “Superb” ! Thanks to keep pushing to make your restaurant always “the best”. Fantastic food, with local ingredients and reinterpreted traditional recipes. Both degustation menus are a hit, but if you like fish and seafood go for the Quintessenza. Each dish bursts with flavor and some combinations really surprise the palate. Prices are very reasonable too and the staff is attentive and helpful

The restaurant looks very nice and comfortable. Nothing too fancy. The food is delicious. The staff was very friendly and explained a lot about the dishes and wines that we tried. We met the owner at the end and he took us to the rooftop and talked about his future plans. Highly recommended
