The 21 Best Restaurants In Honolulu, Oahu 2024

"On the eighth floor of the Ritz Carlton in Waikiki, this open-air Italian bar and restaurant is the perfect place to sink into a cushy and shaded seat to admire the incredible views of the sea and skyline. Not only that, it’s the ideal setting for an afternoon glass of white wine or a non-alcoholic lilikoi, peach, and shiso soda. Cocktails range from the refreshing Capri - Game with vermouth, limoncello, calamansi, and prosecco, to the Smoked Roots, a mix of mezcal, ginger, turmeric, and yuzu, misted with Laphroaig. " - martha cheng

Our recent dinner at Quiora in the Ritz-Carlton fell short of the high expectations. While the service was attentive and the ambiance hi-end, the food delivered only what I would expect from mediocre restaurants - at a close to premium cost. We chose the Wagyu ribeye ($85) and lamb pappardelle ($50), along with a side of Crispy Pee Wee potatoes ($18)—the potatoes never arrived (taken off of bill). Both mains suffered from a lack of seasoning; we had to request salt from our server. The ribeye raised serious doubts about its claimed Wagyu or ribeye. It lacked the marbling and deckle cap expected of a true ribeye, appearing less marbled than a standard supermarket cut (photos attached for reference). Texturally, it was disappointingly tough rather than the juicy, unctuous experience one anticipates from a wagyu. For $85, even if it were genuine Wagyu, this would represent a low-grade example at best. The handmade pappardelle showed promise but failed in execution. The noodles arrived clumped and sticky, requiring manual separation. Maybe in the attached video you may noticed that the sauce was not coated evenly. Where the sauce did adhere, its texture was pleasant, and the lamb itself was tender. However, the overall flavor profile remained bland and under-seasoned. For Quiora we had hi expectations, although we did enjoy thoughtful service, a refined atmosphere, and clear technical skill in pasta-making, we felt that at these price points, the food was “meh”. As it stands, our first and maybe only experience at Quiora was a miss.

Quiora has a wonderful view, our waiter Ian Martin was awesome. He had great recommendations, and they were all delicious. We will definitely go back!

My husband and I stayed at the Ritz-Carlton for my 40th birthday and hosted a dinner for ten friends at Quiora. To start with the positives: our server, Kennedy, was wonderful. He was warm, attentive, and offered great recommendations for the table. We especially enjoyed the arancini, ahi dip, uni pasta, and horchata trifle. Those were standouts. A few friends who ordered the pappardelle felt it could have used more seasoning, but overall the food was solid. However, there were several aspects that were frustrating. I don’t mind paying higher prices at a luxury property, but I was surprised by the extra fees that appeared on our bill. For example, there was a $6 “martini upcharge” added to each $16 martini. Since we ordered several, it would have been helpful to be informed of this beforehand. We were also charged $6 each for sides of sauce and Parmesan cheese, which felt excessive. Ultimately, the total came out to over $150 per person, and the value didn’t match that price point. We also encountered issues prior to our reservation. We originally booked for nine guests and asked to add one more when a friend flew in to surprise me. The restaurant told us that increasing the party size meant we would need to submit everyone’s orders in advance. I didn’t want to ask my guests to do that, especially for just one additional person. The back-and-forth over this became more frustrating than it needed to be, and honestly made me regret choosing the restaurant. Had I not put down a deposit I would have tried to change the venue at this point. When we arrived, the staff still seemed flustered that our party size had changed, which didn’t create a welcoming atmosphere. For the level of pricing and the setting, I expected a more accommodating and seamless experience. A simple “We’ll take care of that for you” would have gone a long way.

Looking over the city from the roof top of the Ritz-Carlton was amazing. The servixe was top notch. Food presentation was beautiful. Falvor was good but my lamb pappardelle, the lamb shank was slightly tough and under seasoned. Noodles wer cooked to perfection. My wife had Hokkaido uni + crab spagetti and it was superb. The play on caprese was interesting with fried mozzarella. Only complaint there was the breading could have been seasoned. The star of the whole night was the smoked ahi dip. Wonderful flavor.

Google
Incredible spot for dinner. The view, the food, and the service were all spot on. Ian was our server and recommended a few items that our family really enjoyed. Don’t go without getting the uni pasta.

Google
Truly had a lovely dinner date here! The skyline and ocean view is a magnificent treat while dining, and the staff are all so sweet and courteous. The pasta was hands down the best I've had in Hawai'i and I'm still thinking about that uni pasta, specifically. Super rich, umami, and bursting with fresh uni flavor- and the noodles were the PERFECT level of al dente texture. Such a decadent treat! I'm not usually a tiramisu person either, but theirs was notably delicious. This would be a great choice for a special occasion meal :) Plus that evening there was a high powered telescope set up and a lovely individual was setting it up so people could enjoy a peek at Saturn and other delights!

We went to Quiora at the Ritz for Mother’s Day brunch. I think my son in law did a great job making this reservation for us. The food did not taste bad it was good but nothing that Wow’d us. The first you notice is the place looked like a pop up buffet. Like they converted a conference room to be a make shift buffet. And for the price, and being the Ritz you would expect a wider variety of food choices. I could say more but you get the idea. I would say that for the Ritz, they fell short. This would have been a cheaper, nice regular buffet but not for the Ritz. Oh and we asked for coffee after our meal and it was barely warm. I should have asked for a glass of ice to pour it in to make iced coffee!

We visited here for an anniversary and the food and service were great as always. It was or crowded that day, and we had a reservation before the sunset, so we enjoyed the nice sunset sky over our starter. This time we went with the set menu they offered, and everything was very delicious. We added Eggplant Parmesan on the side and it was on-point.

Yelp
Located in the Ritz Carlton residence, Quiora is a giant step above the vast number of WaikiKi restaurants in both food quality and especially, staff quality! Definitely worthy of many returns! Upon arriving, we were greeted very warmly by Ljubica, the hostess. She welcomed us by name, probably based on our reservation, but nevertheless, she made us feel very welcomed like family, a skill that even some 5-star restaurants do not have. Our warm welcome continued with Marshall, our server, who patiently described the menu items and offered useful suggestions. Our drinks were then delivered by Amber (bar) who greeted us with great smiles and then offered to take several pictures for us. Overall, a stunning beginning. we tried several salads: Caesar, mixed greens, and Uni/crab cakes. They were all refined in their taste, plentiful in portion size, and beautifully plated, ie, feast for your eyes. Entrees included ox tail in wine sauce (tender meat falling off bones), tender wagyu steak cooked to perfection, and Uni spaghettI, creamy, al dente, perfect! All flavors were refined including the Tiramisu dessert. Overall, a wonderful dining experience worth remembering and returning, capped with a warm chat with Preston, the hotel manager who described the hotel goals of creating great foods with a true Aloha spirit.

Yelp
Went there for the early Valentine's Day celebration. This was my first visit to the Ritz-Carlton Residences Waikiki Beach, and I was pleasantly surprised by how beautiful the property was. Unfortunately, it was cloudy and windy that day, but I can imagine the view from the deck and swimming pools would be absolutely stunning in nicer weather. The restaurant is located at the far end of the deck by the pool and seems mostly open-air, so it could get quite sunny and hot depending on the day. Since it was chilly and windy during our visit, we dressed accordingly. We started with cocktails -- "Pray For Sets" for my SO and "For The Girls" for me. While we weren't particularly impressed with the flavors, the presentation was beautiful. For the appetizer, we ordered the Hokkaido Uni and Crab Arancini. They were adorable and the uni was tasty, but I didn't really taste much crab. Next, we had the Bucatini alle Vongole. I immediately noticed that the pasta tasted house-made and confirmed with our waiter, Chris, who provided wonderful service throughout the meal. The dish was absolutely delicious and cooked al dente, though there was a bit too much cheese for my liking. We also ordered the Brussels Sprouts Fritti, which were decent. For the main course, we had the Snake River Farms American Wagyu Steak with sides of grilled broccolini and garlic-braised kale. The quality of the steak was excellent and the doneness was perfect. We requested medium and it came out slightly closer to medium-rare, but we actually preferred that over an overcooked steak. Overall, I really enjoyed this place -- wonderful views, delicious food, and great service. I'd definitely love to visit again in the future.

Yelp
The server didn't really know the menu, so I was taken aback. It's not a big deal to me, but if you're gonna explain the menu - you should know what you're explaining. Otherwise, the view was beautiful. The restaurant is located next to the lovely pool. The food was delicious. I wish the menu was a little bigger. I think their drinks are pre-made because I wasn't able to make changes to them. I was also expecting a special dessert for my spouse, specifically for birthdays due to all of the reviews about tiramisu and anniversary desserts. They ended up getting us a gelato, but I'm not sure it was a "birthday" special. I guess it depends on when you come.

Yelp
Late review (visited in December 2025) my love took me here on a surprise date night + an early birthday celebration for him. Came for dinner and we enjoyed the night view. Excellent service, excellent staff. The food was so good we said we'd come back from the mainland just to eat here again. All of the cocktails we had were delicious, perfectly balanced. Good plate portions, shareable, but enough to enjoy on your own too.

Yelp
I love this restaurant. The food is delicious. The staff is wonderful and the view is phenomenal. My one thing I would mention is that 90% of the restaurant is outdoors so be prepared to either get a little wet if it's raining or pick a table that's covered. It is a definite must stop while in Waikiki.
google avatar

Yelp
Stunning views because the design of the patio / building construction is superb and gives you an unobstructed skyline/beach cityscape. The way they built the patio is like an infinity pool where you are seated at the "edge" of the patio in the front section furthest away from the hotel. Food was very good and service was great, very on par with the Ritz Carlton experience. Would def come back to eat here if I come back to Waikiki. b

Yelp
Absolutely, amazing wonderful, cocktails, wonderful sunset wonderful food, wine, etc. definitely definitely amazing. Plus, they validate and not charge for parking.

Yelp
Outdoor dining at this restaurant located at The Ritz Carlton Residences Waikiki. Lovely on a warm evening as it looks out to the ocean. Food is delicious and they have a decent wine list. Service, although very friendly, was very inconsistent and slow. Could have been an off night but for this level of restaurant should not happen.

Yelp
Sweet, indeed! Last night we celebrated our 27th Anniversary at this beautiful outdoor dining for the FIRST time in the Ritz-Carlton in Waikiki. The staff were friendly and incredibly accommodating especially our hostess, server Chris and manager Preston. With open sky you can enjoy the Waikiki scenery and Friday fireworks. The menu was short but spot on taste and creativity especially with my uni pasta which included crab. Chris made special accommodations with my cuisine since Im allergic to crab which I am grateful. Loved that my pasta was Al dente and the creamy sauce was just right- smooth and flavorful and the uni added that special touch- "onolicisious", indeed! It was hard to save some for our youngest son to try later. My hubby had the short rib with lentils and veggies. It was so tender and full of incredible flavors that I had eaten 1/3 of his plate (yes, it was that "ono" (delicious)! Since we don't drink (much), we didn't have a cocktail/mocktail so this round we just chilled and enjoyed the view and food. They do have a full menu of incredible spirits so this a great place for cocktail hour with sunsets, beautiful skies and cool nights under the stars. Price point is expected since it is located in the Ritz-Carlton but not super crazy like other places I've been. It's a casual yet stylish (so no come with your bikinis, slippahs and t-shirt). Dress upscale casual and you will have an incredible and joyful time. By the way, check out their sister restaurant on the same floor for a more hearty meal and incredible dessert. Manager Preston escorted us there to ensure we got a sweet table to sample their yummy- Hashi-gori....you won't be disappointed! Bon Appetito!

Yelp
I enjoyed more of the appetizers and the view. The entrees were just okay but definitely will come back for the view, appetizers and drinks.

Yelp
The house old fashioned and buratta pupu were the perfect pau hana treat! A beautiful sunset view sitting at a high top table, great conversation, and the old fashioned here is really quite good. While the sun goes down, you are sitting directly in it, so be prepared. It is nice and quiet up at this outdoor area, Quiora is situated outdoors very nicely at the Ritz Waikiki over looking rooftops and the ocean in the distance. Dressy casual. Great service. Small but great menu options for pau hana. A couple of nice wine options but my friend and I both chose a cocktail. The buratta with arugula had a really nice, light dressing and was very delicious and refreshing. I was having such a nice time, other than our selfies, I forgot to snap photos of the food and bevvies, and only have one other to share .

Yelp
Ian was absolutely amazing! Very timely, so professional! The food was 10/10 everything we ordered.

Yelp
Ian was AMAZING! Great and fast quality service! Food was delicious! Love love love it here!

Yelp
Came here twice for the lunch service, both times were excellent. It appears that there aren't a lot of people that died here for lunch, but that's what attracts me to this place. You can have a really relaxing meal with friends and not feel like you have to hurry up and eat and leave. We actually spent almost 3 hours here and the waiter didn't seem to mind the smoked ahi dip was a great way to start our mail. The pasta are house made and delicious. Valet parking is complementary for four hours.

Yelp
Staycay for the weekend in Waiks. Early 4th of July dinner...had to go early for baby and so we could get back to watch the Hilton fireworks. I feel like there was a improvement on food...or maybe we just ordered better this time. - Uni Crab Arancini ball thingy - YUM. Baby stole my uni. - Caprese - nice and different. Probably the best mozzarella stick I've ever had. Coating was light and the cheese was delish. I didn't like the sauce though. To me that made it way too mozzarella stick-ish rather than caprese-ish. - Oxtail - hubs got this. Was yummy. He liked it. Surprised he didn't finish. Was pretty big, plus we had drinks and pupu. - Pork chop - I was back and forth on what I wanted so asked the Waiter. His eyes lit up and he completely sold me on the dish. And you know what...he was right. It was sooooo goooood. That polenta...OH.MY.GOD. YUM. Luckily I got to eat it for 2 more meals. - Brussels - probably the bet Brussels I've had. Most places it's oily and sitting in sauce. This one had choke taste, was crispy but not at all oily. Air fried? Whatevers...it was delish. I totes forgot my heels when we walked over. So my nice dress and rubbah slippahs. But no worries, since even if it's fancy, it's also not fancy. I didn't feel too out of place.

Yelp
Went to Quiora for my birthday dinner in the evening. The hostess greeted me by name because we made a reservation. That surprised me and I enjoyed the effort put into knowing your guest. The waiter unfortunately did not check in with us as often as we would have liked. Waited for a bit to ask for our check. The location was really nice you have a great view of the Waikiki skyline. The outdoor seating area was well maintained and inviting. The lighting could be a little better at the table as my wife and I had a hard time reading the menus. We ordered the braised short rib and the 22oz bone in ribeye. The braised short rib was good and tender but could use a little more seasoning. The ribeye was cooked to my desired temperature and once again could use some more seasoning. The sides specifically the Mac and cheese were delicious. The Mac and cheese should be its own item on the menu. Pricing was solid for what we ordered. Sadly the food took quite a while to get to us and the wife was getting a little frustrated by the time it came out. Overall a good experience with some minor hiccups.

Yelp
This was some of the best food I've had in a long time. The mahi mahi was incredible. The fish was cooked to perfection and the sauce was so so good. This was the best meal we had all trip. From the cake to the pasta to the burrata, everything here was a 10/10. The views of the ocean were gorgeous- highly recommend eating at sunset! Most of all, the service was impeccable. It started to rain while we were outside and they were so quick to move us to covered tables, to hold umbrellas so we didn't get wet, and to check in with us to make sure we were doing ok.

Yelp
I recently visited Quiora with a large 12 person group and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The restaurant's ambiance is great for sunset with stunning views of Waikiki... perfect for a relaxing evening. If you're there on Friday like we were, you get a view of the fireworks too! I ordered the American wagyu steak, and it was cooked to perfection... juicy, tender, and incredibly flavorful. We ordered a bunch of appetizers, 2 salads, and a couple of pastas. I originally wanted vanilla gelato for dessert, but the waiter let me know it hadn't set properly that evening, so I opted for the sorbet instead. While I was a little disappointed at first, the sorbet turned out to be light, refreshing, and a great way to end the meal. The service was attentive throughout the evening. If you're looking for a spot with incredible food, great service, and nice views, Quiora is an excellent choice. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu (and hopefully the vanilla gelato next time!)

Yelp
This was one of the best meals we had in Waikiki! The staff were super friendly, it started raining when we were there and they helped us switch to a different table out of the rain almost immediately. The food was really tasty, we had the burrata to start and it was so light and refreshing. We then had a mushroom pasta, chicken dish, and fish of the day and they were all incredible. We ended the night with the tiramisu and it was really yummy.

Yelp
Located in the Ritz Carlton on the restaurant floor, with beautiful sunsets and amazing service, from the time I made the reservation Jennifer was very friendly and accommodating. The view and the service and the food is excellent and the drinks are originals. The chili clams were terrific and the bread was very good and went well with the clams and the broth was exceptionally tasty! The Caesar salad was a lot we could only finish half the plate, it was good but got pretty filled up with the clams & the bread. My chicken dish was very good it was flavorful and moist, even that I couldn't finish, the vegetables were done perfectly. My wife had the vegetable lasagna which she enjoyed a lot it was very flavorful and tasty. The restrooms are beautiful, 5 star very well kept and super clean. They have valet parking at the hotel & condominium.

Yelp
Lunch at the Ritz-Carlton in Waikiki, Honolulu, Hawaii... I went to Quiora a long time ago for dinner and kind of forgot that it was open-air dining. We were lucky to have a gentle, cool breeze. However, a couple of aggressive birds lurked around us. I received an email about the 3-couse special lunch. Making a reservation online was easy. I appreciated the reminder about the date and time. Valet parking for 3 hours was great! We just had to remember to get our ticket validated and give a tip to the valet. Sharon was the bubbly receptionist. She was so personable and even sang "Happy Birthday" to my friend! Sharon has an excellent singing voice! Royce was our knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly server. He was quite perceptive and attentive! He gave great suggestions and brought a complimentary lilikoi sorbet for my friend's birthday dessert! I ordered the (tender) Braised short rib "French Dip" sandwich and (smokey) Grilled Caesar salad. Both were flavorful and had a beautiful presentation! I was really happy with my meal!

Yelp
I live nearby and i don't know why I never just explored this great spot. It's a Tuesday 2 pm. And I had hi-top table facing the ocen with a experienced bartender Katie who made me a espresso martini It's sn early afternoon meal it was a hoagie with pork it was so good I was just staring at the ocean and wondering why this place is not more crowded.. I encourage anybody that lives nearby this place to check it out it's at the Ritz-Carlton that's why I think it's kind of like nobody's here but it's amazing had 2 cocktails with the best ocean views highly recommend this place

Yelp
My husband Bruce and I were visiting Waikiki from California and we had THE BEST dining experience with our server Ian. It was a first fine dining experience @ Quiora @ The Ritz Carlton Waikiki. We chatted with Ian about our flavor palette, allergies, etc. & he suggested the most devine, delicious appetizers and even paired them with the finest wine choices. We proceeded with our main courses & Ian also selected a wonderful sangria to pair with our dinner. Ian was so well versed on all of the menu items. We had the best table in the house and Ian was always so attentive as if we were his only customers. He was also kind enough to take our photo when asked with the ocean backdrop as we departed. If you are ever vacationing in Waikiki, visit Quiora & ask for Ian and you'll be spoiled with THE 10+ DINING EXPERIENCE!!!

Yelp
Go in the daytime when you can see the magnificent ocean view. We were there after dark and enjoyed the city lights. We started with a glass of wine. They have a good selection of wine. For the appetizer we shared the ahi dip. It was good and had enough bread slices for the dip. We came because they make their pasta fresh. I had the oxtail pasta and my friend had uni and clam. Both sauces were rich in flavor. Mine was very rich and had a strong wine flavor. They were both good. For dessert we had sorbet. I would come back again late afternoon to enjoy the sunset. The water was attentive and it was nice they allowed us to stay after the restaurant was closed not to rush us. I recommend nice clothing as it is ani e restaurant.

Yelp
Had to come back again with some friends since the last time was such a good experience. We had our favorite server Ian again who did an amazing job. The food was delicious, we had the ahi dip and octopus as appetizers and for the mains the pork chop and clam vongole stole the show. We'll definitely be back soon.

Yelp
The restaurant is beautiful and quiet, super nice ambiance! We were greeted by very friendly staff members upon entering the restaurant and our server was also very personable. The food was excellent! We ordered the uni arancini, Brussel sprouts, uni and crab pasta, and the chicken. The uni pasta is more expensive than others on Oahu but they give you way more uni so I feel like the price is justified. My husband said the chicken was moist and well cooked, but nothing noteworthy. Everything else we really loved! My only small complaint is that it seemed like our food came out pretty slowly, so it felt like we were waiting long periods of time between courses. The quality of the food more than made up for that though! Would highly recommend this spot.

Danna W.

Yelp
Great service by Ian Beautiful view Lighting and seating could be better. Food average. Caprese salad was basically fried mozzarella.

Yelp
Amazing service, ambiance and food. We got the tasting menu and everything was fire! Nakoa at the host stand was wonderful and welcoming, Chris our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and gave excellent recommendations. Manager Preston is so warm and friendly, he shared about their quarterly Mahalo Fest focusing on encouraging locals to come in and dine. We got a delicious freshly made chocolate bar for a Willy Wonka golden ticket experience. Sadly, we didn't win but we were still able to join their raffle for grand prize trip to Japan for 2!

Yelp
Located in the luxurious Waikiki Ritz Carlton Hotel. You take the elevator to the lobby and step out into the breathtaking ocean view of the infamous Waikiki Beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and Joshua's service was excellent! The sangria tasted as beautiful as it looked. We ended up ordering 2 desserts. Happy eating

Yelp
If you're looking for a place to celebrate your birthday, here's my experience at Quiora: I went with two friends and their toddler. From the start, the front staff were warm and welcoming--they greeted me with smiles and a cheerful "Happy Birthday!" That set a really nice tone. Ambience & Family-Friendly Touches * The restaurant has outdoor seating with a beautiful view of Friday fireworks. * They even provided paper and colored pencils to keep the little one entertained--super thoughtful! * But when we asked for plastic utensils for the child, they said they only had regular ones, which made it hard for the toddler to eat. Food * Service was fast; appetizers came out quickly and were good. * For mains, we ordered the wagyu steak (medium rare). Unfortunately, it was very chewy--wouldn't recommend. * The uni pasta was the star of the night--absolutely delicious! If you don't order it, you're really missing out. Birthday Dessert This part was disappointing. I've celebrated my birthday at many restaurants, and almost everywhere (even small places) they'll give a complimentary dessert with "Happy Birthday" written on the plate. Here, they just brought out two scoops of raspberry ice cream in a bowl and said it was for my birthday. It felt underwhelming, especially since I had higher expectations for a special occasion. ‍ Service * Our main server wasn't very friendly. Once he realized we were locals, his attitude seemed to change, and he barely checked on us. * On the bright side, another server was very attentive--refilling water often and staying friendly. Bill The total was nearly $400, and we still left a 20% tip. Overall: Beautiful setting and some great dishes (the uni pasta is a must), but the steak and service fell short, especially for a birthday dinner

Yelp
I'm very thankful for everything in my life. Having said that the Thanksgiving meal that was served tonight was quite possibly the worst I've ever had. The roast turkey breast was drier than Sahara. Gravy tasted like salty powder mix. The pork belly was tender but sent a big gush of unpleasent fat in your mouth with every chew. It was too much, a lechon or Chinese style roast where the fat is more rendered out with crisp skin would've been better. There were some sides like Hy's mash potatoes, roasted vegetables that were OK. The dessert didn't save this meal. Look, for $99.00 a person it was unacceptable. Happy Thanksgiving!

Yelp
An Italian restaurant inside the Ritz-Carlton. It's a terrace restaurant, so it has a sense of openness and a nice view. The appetizer was Caprese, fried mozzarella cheese and sun-dried tomatoes. The salad was a green salad with pickled strawberries and roasted beets, and was served with a macadamia nut sauce, just like ricotta cheese. This was a delicious salad. It's a great salad for people who are allergic to dairy products like me. The main dish was oxtail pasta with a delicious ragu. Today's fish menu was mahi-mahi in a spicy sauce, served with vegetables. The service was also good. However, it was a birthday, and I went there, but it was disappointing that there was no birthday message on the dessert plate. This may have been because my partner, who made the reservation, didn't request anything. What's special about this restaurant is the handmade pasta.

Yelp
I had a great time here I sat outside the bar Enjoyed the beautiful view and Ambiance The server We're extremely nice Especially the girl who made my drink We did try a few appetizers since we had reservations at another restaurant. One of them was the Ahi Pokey Tuna It was good Except I would wish it would have been served wonton instead of Fried Pita. I didn't get a chance to try their dinner I guess I'll come back next year. But they have an incredible Ambiance great customer service really fun little place right on the property of Ritz-Carlton.

Yelp
We came here to celebrate our anniversary and we had a great time. The service was great and the view was amazing. Steak was cooked to my husband's preference except they sliced it, he prefers to do the cutting himself. The ambiance is perfect date nights and highly recommended.

Yelp
Wanted a quick bite to eat for lunch and really wanted Italian, so decided to stop by Quiora while in Waikiki. The staff at this restaurant were so welcoming and friendly, it was almost scary! From the hostess to the servers, I received top notch service while at this restaurant. The ambiance was calm, quiet and where I sat, had a wonderful ocean view while I ate. Now for the food: I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs and to be honest, I was disappointed with what I got. The portion size was small enough to feed to a toddler, but the meatballs (5) were amazing! Definitely not worth $32 though. All in all, I would come back to this restaurant and try some other items on the menu. Pro tip: make sure to get a seat on the deck. The views alone are worth the price you pay to eat here! One thumb up and a high five for Quiora's! Happy eating, my foodies!

Yelp
Came here to celebrate my birthday. We had the 3-course business lunch- soup or salad, main (fish or steak frites) and dessert. I have to say food was good but portion was small. We love the service. Special shout out to Sharon whose incredible deep voice made my birthday extra special with her rendition of Happy Birthday song. Ambiance is of course luxurious. Restaurant is inside Ritz Carlton Hotel. It has amazing views and the endless pools just add to the luxurious vibe.

Yelp
My friends and their other halves and I came here for my birthday. It was nice and the view was beautiful. But there were some things a that were lacking. Since we had a party over 12 people, we have to place our orders in advanced. Never had that happen before but ok we did. When we arrived we were seated at 2 different tables. I guess the space wasn't big enough to accommodate a party if 12 on one long table. Also food took a while to come out considering we had already put in out orders ahead of time. We waited an hour from the time we were seated for our food out come out. Food was ok. I did like the truffle fries were good. The view of the ocean was nice. Other than that. Food was about average.

Yelp
Lunch with a view... Here and now is Quiora and you can find them in the Ritz-Carlton in Waikiki right on Kalaimoku Street which sits between Kūhiō and Kalākaua Ave and after reading Andy F's review he's absolutely right as actually finding them is the biggest challenge as validated parking is free for three hours we had to rely on directions to find them which to be honest I couldn't really tell you what floor and the amount of pools we passed along with La Vie which is another restaurant though walking past the amenities along with the stunning view of the ocean that alone has me feeling relaxed and hungry. Upon arrival we were greeted by Sharon a beaming ray of sunshine and before getting us situated asked if we wanted indoor our outside...that view OUTSIDE please! What a staycation vibe it gives you as our server Royce was excellent with the thorough knowledge of the menu items though we came for the "Quiora's Lunch Set" which is a three course set. - Iced Tea - Roasted Vegetable Panini - Garlic Truffle Fries These were my choices and the iced tea which was so nice and refreshing paired perfectly with my Panini sandwich which was filled with veggies that I had to enjoy with their Garlic Truffle Fries...along with the view...love! Thank you to the entire staff for making this lunch a fun and memorable experience and what a lovely view to just relax and enjoy. Thank you!

Yelp
Service was very nice and the view was beautiful. The dessert was our favorite out of all of the courses, overall the food was good. While my mind wasn't blown, I definitely would consider coming again and trying different things on the menu. The menu has a lot of options and extensive drink options!

Yelp
Had dinner here last week and everything was amazing. The food, the service, the atmosphere were perfect. The server I had, I think his name was "Ian" gave me and my date excellent recommendations from drinks to entree's to local spots to visit as well. The steak fries and braised pork was definitely my favorites on the menu. Mahalo for the awesome hospitality and wonderful service Ian. We will be back Quiora!

Yelp
The world food tour made its first visit to Quiora, the other restaurant on the 8th floor of the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Waikiki. It's a sweeping open space with vistas of Waikiki featuring white marble / quartz flooring and a bar at the far end of the space. There are a number of tables with umbrellas at the leading edge of the space overlooking the pools but these were unoccupied due to inclement weather. We were blessed with a few sprinkles occasionally on our table. We were early for our 5:30pm reservation so we spent 30 minutes at the bar in La Vie enjoying Monkey 47 gin and tonics and the views. I love this gin and my food partner found it to her liking during a trip to Malaysia. The wine list at Quiora is relatively short but one has access to the wine list from La Vie. I wanted something from Italy or Spain but my first choice, Tempranillo "La Navilla", wasn't available so we selected a 2013 "Vina Cubillo" from Lopez de Heredia. They're both reasonably priced wines (in the store, not so much at Quiora) and the age made the wine soft (in a good way) and delectable. Being National Carbonara Day we wanted a carbonara but the only one featured lobster, a no-go for one with a shellfish allergy. None of the appetizers struck a chord with us so we chose the Small Kine Farms Mushroom Campanelle ($35) to share. This was a fabulous dish of pasta accented by fried kale, garlic butter, truffle mushroom coulis, white wine and Parmesan cheese. Our entrees were the 12oz Snake River Farms American Wagyu Ribeye ($81) and the Australian Costolette di Agnello ($78), both prepared medium rare The ribeye came sliced with grilled broccolini and two sauces; one for the steak, the other for the vegetable. It looked a lot larger than 12oz. The Costolette was a hearty rack of lamb, with crispy eggplant and kale, brussels sprouts, and a caponata chutney. We had Broccoli alla Griglia ($16) and Asparagi Grigliati ($16) for our sides. The vegetables came well-seasoned and were delicious. In hindsight, we didn't need the broccolini as it was featured with the ribeye. Dessert was the tried and true Tiramisu ($14) and I enjoyed a double espresso. We enjoyed our time at Quiora ... The food and drink were great, service exemplary and it's always nice to have a venue overlooking the skyline of Waikiki. La Vie or Quiora? I prefer the former but Quiora was great. Recommended!

Yelp
Located inside the Ritz Carlton building. Issues: 1) we pulled up and there is a valet stand but no one comes to the one in the front - you gotta turn into the building and go to the OTHER valet stand to get service (we figured it out after waiting a couple minutes) but why put a valet stand if it's not manned? 2) took elevator upstairs and OMG - the sun beats down on you ridiculous hot. They do not offer any sun shades or any means of escaping the intense heat and this was for DINNER! 3) overpriced - we went for their exclusive Easter buffet dinner. What a disappointment. For that price - it should have been spectacular. The tables were so sparse - no one was there. I guess everyone else knew what a rip off this price is for the quality and variety of food you get/offered. Will not return to this venue.

Yelp
Great service and scenery. It was a vibe! Our server Kennedy was awesome! Highly recommend for date night. Gotta come on a friday to watch the fireworks, per Kennedy's recommendation!
