Quitos is the perfect spot to go to get dinner if you are in Bristol. I would recommend having a reservation because it is normally packed during the warmer months. This restaurant boasts a nice seafood menu with many options. I would recommend getting the lobster roll. There were big juicy pieces of lobster in it on a warm roll. You can decide whether you want to get it cold or warm. Service was great despite it being a busy Friday night. I would recommend going if you are hosting someone from out of town or for a date night. Nothing beats being on the water.

While vacationing in Rhode Island for the weekend, my fiancé and I decided to eat here one day and this is one of the best seafood restaurants we have eaten at! The food was amazing, as well as the service and atmosphere. It’s located right on the water and the scenery is perfect. The service was also great. I highly recommend the lobster bisque!! Easily the best I have ever had with CHUNKS of lobster 😋 I wish I didn’t live in New Jersey because I would definitely frequent here more often. The only negative I have is that for some reason my card wasn’t charged the full amount of the bill until 4 days after visiting!! 😳 our total bill was like $154 and for some reason only $48 was charged the day of with the remaining balance not being charged until 4 days later leaving my account to be overdrawn! Not sure why because I’ve never had that problem anywhere else, but the food was amazing so if I ever find myself in Rhode Island again, I’ll definitely go back! Only giving 4 stars due to the issue with charging my card late, but I’d still recommend the place!

Google
If you are visiting the area, Quito’s is a must try restaurant! The staff were really kind and the seafood was some of the best we have tried! The spicy calamari has a kick to it that really wakes up your taste buds. The oysters were sooooo fresh too! The lobster was a little hard to crack open but once opened, dipped the meat in the butter and it melted!! Overall great atmosphere too that allows you to have a meal by the water!

Google
As out of towners due to fly out Boston in just a couple, we took a tip from a local friend that Quito's was the place for Lobster Rolls, something I'd only heard about. We got there early, and Chef Drake and crew got us squared away with excellent takeout where we each shared both the New England and Connecticut style rolls. Both where excellent, and the debate raged on over which was the best. Would absolutely recommend supporting this local small business which welcomed us with warm, inviting hospitality on a Monday morning. Wishing you continued success! Thanks for a great lunch!

Overall a great place, food was delicious but the service was a little slow and somewhat pricey. Our server Oddo(?) was five star all the way!!!

Google
Quito's Restaurant and Bar is a gem on the waterfront that absolutely deserves its stellar reputation. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with friendly, attentive service and a relaxed seaside vibe that made us feel instantly at home. The seafood? Impeccably fresh and bursting with flavor. The lobster bisque was velvety and rich—easily one of the best I’ve had in Rhode Island—and the clam cakes had just the right amount of crisp. Everything was beautifully plated and timed just right. Whether you’re sitting inside or out on the deck with a view of the harbor, the atmosphere is pure coastal charm. A perfect spot to savor great food, unwind with a cocktail, and enjoy the Rhode Island shoreline. Can't wait to return—this place is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates top-tier seafood and genuine hospitality.

Google
Had a wonderful time for lunch. Kristen C was our fantastic server who anticipated our needs and was very attentive. We sat in the covered patio and enjoyed great views. We ordered the lobster bisque and a special lobster BLT. Both were amazing with lots of large chunks of lobster. The lobster bisque was the stand out. One of the most delicious soups we've had. We will certainly be back whenever we are in town!

Google
We only get down to Bristol once a year and today was the day. The seafood is wonderful, and the fried scallops are honestly the best I've ever tasted! And while this may not seem like any big deal to most people, I love coleslaw. And most places only give you a little dot, but not here! An actual serving of coleslaw. Thank you for a wonderful food with a beautiful view!!

Yelp
After walking by a few times, seeing the menu and the view, we decided to try some seafood. The service was courteous and quick. The prices were fine. The view from the outside deck were lovely. We had a fish and chip dinner and fish tacos. Both were great. I'm picky about Cole slaw and theirs got two thumbs up from us. I wasn't able to finish my soft drink, so I asked for a takeaway cup since we are staying at a hotel. An odd request but they were happy to oblige. The reviews on Yelp vary a lot. I'm glad we tried it.

Yelp
Delicious seafood with a view! Loved dining at this restaurant with the beautiful backdrop of the sea right outside our window! The fried seafood mix ( with calamari of course) was also quite tasty! Could not do a dinner without trying the crab cakes of course, which were also an excellent addition to the meal. Can't wait to come back this summer!

Yelp
The food was excellent. Service was quick and you couldn't beat looking out on the water

Yelp
Ive been going to quitos for awhile now, and its a solid seafood restaurant. Beautiful view first off. Always amazing. Never too cold or too hot because they control the canopy and heat lamps well. The steamers are always an amazing appetizer option, as well as the crab dip. However I wouldn't recommend the lobster. Throughout the years i have gotten lobster from Quito's, its always been kinda flavorless and disappointing. I assumed it was just bad luck with lobster but I just learned that its flavorless because it is undercooked. You're better off getting something else off the menu, since the other options are always good. Ive usually had amazing service here as well. A few times I have been neglected by servers who have bigger tables to tend, but usually they are great. Overall I love quitos, just dont order the steamed lobster

Yelp
This place was such a delightful surprise. Sat outside and had a wonderful view of the water. Really enjoyed seeing people on their boats go by. Service was nice and fast. Food was fresh and delicious. The stuffed shrimp was so good. The stuffing had plentiful seafood and the shrimps were plump with it. The potatoes were buttery and a great side. Broccoli was just okay and next time might substitute that side. Overall great experience and would definitely go back!

Yelp
What could be better that siitting on the patio on a late August afternoon looking at the sun shining on the water like diamonds while eating fresh seafood? Clam belly platter was wonderful; fries and coleslaw played solid second fiddles to the fat and juicy clams. Service was excellent. The setting unparalleled. Parking before a certain hour was easy, plentiful and free.

Yelp
Checked the website on Monday, 9/16,& it said they were open for lunch starting at 11:30am. A friend and I got there about noon, and the place was closed up. There was furniture scattered on the patio, and no one home at the inn! Two other cars had pulled up and people got out planning to go in for lunch. We all stood around, saying we had checked the website, and couldn't understand why they were closed? Not sure if they are closed for the season or we're just closed on that particular day. But I do wish they had updated their website.

Yelp
Who was good but gave me a muscle that was not ready to eat and that been very dangerous but other than that, the food was very nice. My bread didn't come out until my entrée came out and the bread is supposed to come out as soon as you sit down although the bread was very good. They also did not get my butter. After asking several times, the ambience was very clean and love the end and outdoor choice.

Rhelda R.

Yelp
Fish was very good and lobster bisque. Unfortunately the vent above was dripping water on the table. The kind waitress told management & the reply was okay. ?!? Meanwhile I dried off my belongings and table. Disappointed.

Yelp
Delicious food, the ambiance of being on the water with sailboats going by, and excellent service are a great combination for an amazing dinner experience.

Yelp
We visited because of their rating for Clam Cakes. Ordered the Clam Cakes and the Rhode Island Clam Chowder. The Clam Cakes were good, not the best but good! The nubs weren't as large as the best but not tiny. What we were disappointed about was the Chowder. It is supposed to be the clear version, made from the clam broth, which it was. What Quitos did to it, was an add celery, too much celery. They took a possibly decent Chowder and turned it into a version of chicken soup. They had two other Chowders, New England style, and Manhattan, which we did not try. If you enjoy the clear broth, the best we have had is found at the Bayside Restaurant in Westport, MA.

Yelp
Awesome place! Very comfortable open floor plan on screened in deck with views of the water. Nice, attentive waitress. We had the Hot Crab Dip with homemade tortilla chips and split a Lobster Roll with mayo! Delicious! Definitely Recommended!

Yelp
If you love seafood with a view, this is your place. I have been a repeat visitor at this restaurant with my family for years. We are all huge seafood lovers and my father was a scalloper so he is very picky about the freshness of his seafood. That being said, he LOVES this place. They can get very busy so make sure you make a reservation. The service is always great and the food is even better! Don't walk..run!

Yelp
This is a beautiful restaurant in Bristol sitting right on the ocean. I visited one weekend in October right before the sun began to set. The view was spectacular. I ordered a half dozen of oysters, a fried piece of cod, and chicken tenders. (Yes, my eyes were entirely bigger than my stomach that day!) I read some reviews on Yelp and thought I'd give this place a try. The oysters were really good. They had a nice brine and once I added a little vinegar to them they were just right. The cod was ok. It was nice and crunchy, but it wasn't my favorite piece of cod I've ever eaten. It arrived to the table fresh out of the grease and I did enjoy the actual freshness of the fish. I love some good chicken tenders, but they were quite misleading. The menu described them as "freshly battered" and they arrived as "frozen". I was completely distraught. I really did try to eat them but could not enjoy the processed, once frozen aspect of them. The ginger honey sauce, however, was delicious and aided me in eating a few of them before I left the rest. I was really disappointed in the service. There were moments when I was searching for my server because she just took forever to check on me or bring me something that I needed. Luckily there were a few other servers around who were able to assist. Overall, next time I go: I'll stick to the seafood!

Yelp
Hello, been going to Quitos for many, many years, in all that time, with all those great meals we've had, I've never once handed a waitress $ 75.00 for a $45.00 Bill, asked for change and got change minus 20% tip!!! She decided how much tip she got. In my experience, this is wrong, and I hope gets rectified soon. (Might have given her 20%, but I decide!!) Don't think we'll be back soon, at least in dining room, get take out.

Yelp
Here is Quito's novel idea...actually put clams in your clam cakes! What a pleasant surprise this was after the fried dough balls that have passed as clam cakes at some other well known RI restaurants. This was my first visit to Quito's and i must say that I was impressed with the view (we ate on the outdoor porch overlooking the harbor), the service (thank you Christine et al), the cleanliness (even the restrooms were spotless) and certainly not least, the quality of the food! In addition to the outstandingly large, flavorful clam cakes, I enjoyed a lobster roll stuffed with sweet tender lobster that tasted like it had just been plucked from the cold water in Maine! My dining buddy was equally satisfied with the scallops. I was born and raised in RI and it is always nice that when fries come with your meal there is already vinegar on the table! Great restaurant ~ Great people ~ Great dining experience!

Yelp
Lobster roll was delish coke slaw yummy my husband had the seafood casserole he said they could use less bread crumbs but I guess that's a personal preference. The seafood was fresh and hearty! Def a great spot for lunch or dinner! The view is amazing.
google avatar

Aly Y.

Yelp
Husband ordered a grilled platter. I ordered the chowder and clam cakes to split. His was horrifically over cooked. I heard the table behind us had the same complaints. Although mine tasted fine, I later spent the night vomiting. Zero stars. No thank you!

Yelp
While vacationing in the area, I and my dining partner made a reservation at Quito's because it was recommended for its beautiful water views. We were lucky to be seated right next to water, so we had gorgeous views of the sunset over the bay. The restaurant is pretty small and all of the patrons are pretty tightly packed together - we were there on a Tuesday evening and the restaurant was very crowded. The waitstaff is friendly and helpful, but the wait time to receive our meals was quite long. It took about half an hour to receive our appetizer and another 30-40 minutes to receive our entrees. Even though we were outside, it was still pretty loud as conversations bounced all around. The food is good. We shared the crab cakes, which were delicious! I had the pan-seared fish sandwich and it was cooked perfectly. Although it came with tartar sauce on the side, it would have been nice to have something on the sandwich roll as well. If you're in the mood to leisurely dine in an open, lively atmosphere, Quito's is the place for you.

Yelp
One of the best meals I've had in a while. Made a reservation (required if you want to guarantee a space) and got a table right on the water. Our server Kerry was very attentive and we had our drinks right away. Large food and beverage menu. We shared the stuffies for an appetizer-full of clam and delicious stuffing. For our entrees I had the lobster roll which easily had 6-8 ounces of lobster. He had the lemon cod with breadcrumbs-huge portion as well. And the view was exquisite. Will definitely be back!!

Betty G.

Yelp
Service was great and food was very good fish was not overcooked like a lot of restaurants

Yelp
A must stop for the best seafood and views around . It's always fresh and portions are huge . Clam chowder loaded with clams ..lobster roll the best around . The drinks were made perfect . Great service and owner is the best . Who really cares about you . Love the place .

Laraine R.

Yelp
Great location on the water. Nice menu but food was oversauched (shrimp scampi) and the lobster roll saturated with mayonnaise. Good service and ambiance.
google avatar

Cheryl S.

Yelp
I enjoyed this casual spot, and we ate outside in the heated patio. As a gluten free diner, I appreciated the guidance I got from our server. The pan seared cod dish was excellent and a safe gluten free choice. The smashed potatoes and Italian steamed broccoli were delicious, as was the seafood chowder!
google avatar

Friar D.

Yelp
Best lobster bisque in RI hands down. Clam cakes are on point as well. You won't see any cakes with no clams in them here folks, these are loaded!!

Robert Cicone ..

Yelp
Always consistent fresh prepared Seafood. Abundant lobster rolls and pan seared specials.

Yelp
We stopped in here after biking the East Bay bike path. What a hidden gem. The lobster roll, stuffy and clam strips were amazing. Our server was friendly and attentive. It was a great lunch atmosphere and would definitely recommend for a casual, impromptu meal.
google avatar

Chelsea C.

Yelp
Food was okay not super memorable although it came highly recommended especially the seafood stew and we didn't order it. Service was decent especially the waitress, she was a 5 star employee. This place is kid friendly but the inside was freezing and the outside was hot.
google avatar

Robert S.

Yelp
I had heard so many good things about Quito's that we decided to give it a try. My BF got the fish sandwich with fries and it was good. The fries were crispy and piping hot. The fried fish was very nice as well. Moist and crispy on the outside. I got the fried clam strips side order ($14 for Large) and I was a bit disappointed with it. The temperature of the dish was warm/cold. Not hot at all. The breading was crisp but not very flavorful. The clams were good on the inside. I also got a garden salad and it was very nice and fresh. Overall average. Not a place I would go back for fried clam strips.

Yelp
3 stars for the food. Negative infinity for the nose-ringed young woman at the takeout counter. After barking at me to come inside because the takeout window was broken, she angrily told me there was no such thing as chowder and 3 clam cakes - which was clearly listed on the takeout menu. After I pointed the menu item out to her she snorted "that's the children's menu and it only comes with a cup of chowder." I said "I'll have a bowl and 3 clam cakes and a Coke." 5 minutes later she comes out with the bag and there is no Coke in it. She had disappeared in the kitchen so I had to ask for her to come back. When I told her there was no Coke she said "you didn't order it." I told her I'm not in the habit of imagining I ordered a soft drink. She continued to argue with me, then put a Pepsi on the counter, said she didn't want my money and to never come back. Don't worry Miss Personality, I won't.

Yelp
Nice friendly staff, Beautiful views of the water. Made reservations for 5:15 PM on a Friday night in August. It was a perfect night to be outside dining. Was forewarned that the table could be occupied for only 90 minutes. Upon arrival found the restaurant half full and upon departure about the same. Point? Not sure reservations or time restrictions come into play here. Ordered the fish and chips and requested the fish be broiled. Though they broil other seafood, I was not allowed to have it that way. Fried it was. It came with a side of coleslaw with the option of french fries or another veggie, I chose steamed garlic broccoli. The fish was heavily breaded and not a lot of substance. The coleslaw and broccoli were ok. Overall the food was... meh. The pan seared fish sandwich (minus the roll) came with a nice sized fish. Like the fish and chips, pan seared fish was ok. Two bar drinks, nothing fancy were $18. Didn't find the place particularly clean and there was nothing special about the ambience outside of water views.

Susan H.

Yelp
Excellent seafood place with parking and nice views. Best steamers I had all summer! Good menu with something for everybody. Family run with attentive service.

Yelp
The food is delicious especially the lobster bisque. Don't know why they don't offer a complimentary coffee refill.

Yelp
Just had a lobster that was awfull. Stuck to the shell and was tasteless. Probably DOA

Yelp
Though it was midweek in late June, we found this luncheon spot to be busy and parking difficult. My wife and I did not require luncheon menus as we had decided beforehand to order clam cakes and RI chowder. The chowder was barely okay while the clam cakes a disappointment. In the 6 clam cakes we shared only 2 pieces of clam were identified and the overall flavor of both the chowder and clam cakes was disappointing.

Eleni T.

Yelp
Initially, I was impressed with how tasty the food was but will never go back due the amount of rudeness received at the end of the night. A girl (who had not been our server) stomped up to our table and a temper tantrum was basically thrown. Apparently they had a reservation that had been waiting- at no point had that ever been made known to us- and she rudely told us to leave. Our own personal server was wonderful and it is a shame that the later girl ruined any positive experience while there. Overall, good experience until the end. Hopefully they will re-evaluate their staff and who they should have speaking to the customers on behalf of them.

Yelp
Have been here many, many times over the years. First visit in COVID TIME. FOOD is always great. Mostly fried New England seafood. We were surprised at the COVID preparations for cold weather. We found the outdoor eating area pretty much closed up with lots or heaters. More closed than I was comfortable. However, tables are appropriately spaced, there's plexi glass everywhere and the walls were drafty enough to disburse most of anything evil. I guess I have to accept things as they are. Compared to other places they seem to be taking things seriously so I'll try to get back before they go back to Florida.

Yelp
I've been going to Quitos since my RWU college days (so 20+ years ago) and I've never been disappointed! I bring friends, family, and acquaintances to dine in. The food is good and so reasonably priced, compared to other seafood restaurants in the area. The casual setting is comfortable and it's great to be right near the water.

Yelp
Came here a few times but found food to be decent but today was bad. Food came out cold and tastes like junk food. Maybe because it was late in the day.

J W.

Yelp
Great view but also greatly overpriced and disappointing. The fried clam plate was $34 for a dozen small oysters coated with way too much batter. Good slaw and fries. A modest-sized bowl of seafood stew was tasty but also expensive, more satisfying. Fine service. Patio was covered and rather dreary, but perhaps open in sunnier weather. Overall a disappointment though and would not recommend. Our check (oyster plate, stew, one beer each, tax, and tip) came to $70! This is a LOT for a mediocre clam shack, no matter how great the view.

Stephen R.

Yelp
We were a party of 5 on a grey Wednesday night. Our orders ranged from two appetizers to 5 entrees totaling close to $250 with tips. We would characterize our meals as good but not great especially given the price. The caprese salad - 3 slices of store bought tomatoes was not worth $15! Skip it. Several entrees of the casserole were stuffed with ample seafood ingredients and described as good. The mixed seafood dish contained ample ingredients but the white sauce lacked any taste. The service was Luke-warm as were the potato's and vegetables. A good but not great meal. The kitchen/chef needs a wake-up call given their prices!
google avatar

Yelp
Beautiful location overlooking Bristol Bay. They have the best clam cakes I've had in a long time and the ambience is light and fun. They are very busy in the Summer months and they do a great job getting your food out quickly. They are a little pricey but the food and service are great. Parking is limited.
google avatar

Yelp
Great lobster roll!! Best you'll ever have in the state. It is a bit expensive but you won't be sorry.

Yelp
Quito's is hit or miss depending on who is in the kitchen on any given night. (Based on repeat visits with enough frequency to detect a pattern.) One night the seafood can be prepared just right, and the sunset so perfect, you could call Quito's your favorite place by the water. Come again, and you can leave disappointed because it didn't measure up to prior visits. For example, on our last try, the fried oysters arrived cold and overly caked in flour that was not crispy. (Yuck.) Even the fries were cold, too. And the half-and-half seafood platter came with just four scallops (at $30 a plate). Why come back then? You keep hoping it will be as good as your best memory. But too often it isn't.

Valerie G.

Yelp
We were headed to the Lobster Pot (which was recommended to us) and it was closed. Quickly, we called Quito's and they were open until 8 pm. We had lobster sinners, 1.25 lb and 1.75 pound. The lobsters were juicy and delectable. The star of my dinner was the sautéed kale which was positively mouthwatering and flavorful. The service was fantastic. We sat outside near the heaters and it was quite comfortable.

k b.

Yelp
What happened? We went today and the usual fried whole belly clams were not good. They were ALL batter. It was awful. If the batter was good, I might be more forgiving but when I want clams I expect to be able to taste the clams. A mouthful of batter tempered by tartar sauce is not worth 30+ dollars. This place was at the top of my list for fried calms .. but no more. Now its near the bottom. The reason for two stars is that my mother liked her food .. thats it. Please fix this so I can come back. I assume the HUGE amount of batter means that the portions look bigger while actually using fewer clams .. but it would be better to actually have more clam and charge more. I would be will to pay. So disappointed..

Yelp
Love this little seaside hole in the wall that has some of the best seafood in the state! Being off season, we found great parking and we were seated right away and offered the choice of inside or outdoor seating. It was a beautiful day, so we opted to sit on the deck, which had been closed in with portable vinyl windows. Being a seafood junkie, the menu is among my favorite anywhere. So. Many. Choices. October calls for chowder and that decision was easy, since they offer a sampling of all three! I first ate the Rhode Island chowder, which is clear. Absolutely heavenly with tender, sweet bits of clam and just enough of an unidentified spice. Next up was the Manhattan, or red. I don't like mine too tomatoey and this was perfect, again with just enough herbs and spices. Lastly came the New England style, or white. It was thick, creamy and oh so delicious. Each 4 ounce serving came in a glass bowl that resembled a short drinking glass - perfect for sipping the last few drops. To follow my chowder experience, I ordered the crab cakes, intrigued by the honey ginger sauce. Again, they hit the nail on the head. They were amazing and the sauce had just a hint of both ingredients so that it paired nicely with the crab and did not overwhelm. My date, on the other hand, being a very sheltered consumer of all foods that are not meat & potatoes, ordered the cheese burger. Normally, I'd scoff at such a culinary blunder (okay, there may have been some minor sarcasm involved), but knowing him, I couldn't argue. The menu described it as charbroiled Angus beef, so at least it was a real burger and not a frozen substitute to appease the non-seafood eaters. He enjoyed it and even shared his fries. Before departing, I went I side to use the restroom - Holy coziness! The fireplace was going and it was so nice! Perfect for an October day!!

Yelp
Loved the lobster roll so much we went back again in 3 days! Definitely recommend the lobster roll! They put an entire lobster's meat in a perfectly toasted brioche bun, drizzled with butter. The lobster is super fresh! Also try the calamari! Everything we ordered was delicious, and you can eat by the water with a beautiful view!

Yelp
We were running late for the Prudence Island ferry, so we didn't have time to stop an eat under the tent, however we did call in our take out while we were traveling down 114 through Warren and by the time we got to Quito's in Bristol, 10 minutes later, our food was ready for us to grab and go. We ended up eating it in the park while we waited for the ferry. The clam cakes are irresistible. We couldn't even wait until we got to the park to tuck in. The fried belly clam platter is so large and more reasonably priced than other places. The sweet potato fries that came with the fish tacos were also plentiful and amazingly good. What a super summer picnic!
