Always a great atmosphere! Been coming here for years and it never disappoints—fun, friendly, and safe. Big shoutout to the R&J staff for always taking care of us! Stay safe, leave the bad vibes at the door, and just come to have fun—that’s what it’s all about! 🎉

Great place to go if you like country music & dancing. Randomly popped in here spur of the moment to check it out, not a fan of country music or country dancing but if I did I would go back. Once in awhile they played hip hop or regular club music. I did get there late, as I was having a bad day and just wanted a beer. Everyone seemed to be happy and enjoying themselves. They got 2 pool tables and dart boards. The place is a lot larger inside than i expected. Plenty of tables and sitting spots. Service wise the bartenders are very cute and give good service. I didn't have to wait to get a drink which was nice.

Didn't eat so can't rate it. Went with two of my lovely female cousins. One is with the Houston Rodeo Association and she introduced me to family, do I dare say it was a woman's night, here in San Antonio. And. they, all being a part of the Rodeo Association here. I was pleasantly pleased with the atmosphere, the band playing was a very good listening experience and upon their breaks the DJ was playing the gamut of music from country to tejano to soul and rap. He had the dance floor scooting and booty swaying. A very pleasant surprise and enjoyable bucket filled night.

After an altercation with other people, security sweared they were going to escort them out and never did. Leaving the establishment, the other party got way out of hand and threw their drinks! We got kicked out and somehow pepper sprayed after being antagonized! Don’t trust security and they truly don’t care about customers..

This was my 1st time ever coming to check out the saloon. I came dressed casual in jeans and t shirt.The first words that the bouncer says to me as I was approaching were “I’m letting you know right now, you are not going in with a white shirt. I respected what they were saying, never complained or made an issue of it. I then changed my shirt to follow “dress code” and the bouncer said “Even with that shirt, you are still not coming in” after he said that, 2 guys from inside the saloon were walking out wearing white T shirts. That scenario definitely left a bad taste in my mouth and do not plan on recommending people to come here. Customer service was awful right from the start.

Good service! We like coming here because it not to far from us. They always have specials and good prices. We get good service from the bartenders as well.

They don’t serve food but great place to have a drink bring a date and dance

Got to watch out for them Ladies bartenders they like to overcharge on extra drinks that i didn't ask for and this happened twice already. Make sure to ask for itemized receipts and check them wisely.
