Great shop inside the renovated Houston Farmers Market. The girl inside was eager to give me a quick tour of store which was well stocked with cuts of choice meats including Wagyu and bacon wrapped meat loaf vacuum sealed and ready for oven. Several house made sausages were available with some in Lamb skin. All meats come from the local RC Ranch. Lots of other store items available in Air Conditioned store. The Plaza itself is a great place to visit for fresh produce, herbs, spices, cookware. Get a FROZEN MARGARITA to walk with while browsing and clean air conditioned restrooms are also available and lots of free parking in rear.

They have to have the largest selection of Wagyu beef in Houston. There were several cuts and items, even wagyu jerky! The cheeses, beans, and other items look home made and delicious. Can't wait to try more

Edit: They did call me back and rectified the issue. The new pack tasted like the samples I tried. Just an fyi of you buy pre-packed jerky or beef sticks check the dates on the packaging. I bought some 2 days ago at the Rodeo and the beef sticks had an experation date of 11/2024 and the peppered jerky only had a month left before it expired which effected the quality and taste because it tasted nothing like the fresh samples they had. First time and last time buying there products. Guess it's back to Bucees I go.

I was excited to buy a package of Peppered Wagyu Premium Beef Jerky at the Rodeo today. Every piece leaves you with an unedible bite of meat at the end of it. The pieces are small and thin. Too many better products than to settle for poor quality. I'm not a fan and won't buy again. The best buy date on the package I bought is 04/25/25.

Their customer service was amazing, we had a slight hick up with one of the meats we purchased and when we reached out they were so accommodating and kind. They made up for the error and even offered some pieces for free! We appreciate their attention to the customers and love buying local🩷 Keep up the good work!!

These folks are really kind and helpful. Most importantly to me though is that they carry a pretty large array of options that are fresh and humane from my research and experience. I've gone a few times and typically I am shopping for my dog. I was searching for a source of meat that was humane, healthy, and a little bit niche because dogs benefit most from specific types of meat that are sometimes harder to find in grocery stores. Not only do they have a lot of variety of meat but the have some things significantly for dogs, including bones and ground blends, and game options. Not only that but considering the high quality and niche market, the pricing truly is fair and customizable in the sense that with most things you can pick larger or smaller quantities or weight in order to fit within a budget. I'm about to head there now to pick up more meat for my dog and decided I'm ready to leave my review. They do good work and deserve their kudos. They are one of the only shops in this shopping center that accept cards instead of just cash. It is an open wall shopping center (sort of a farmer's market/flea market vibe but with non-used goods/mostly food options from what I've seen. However their store has walls and air conditioning. They're right next to the burger restaurant. There's also a bathroom right around the corner from their store. You can walk almost directly to their shop once you park if you park in the right place so you don't have to do much walking to get there, if that's a concern. They also bag my purchases in these cute cloth bags which I think is a really nice touch. Give them a try, they do good work :)

Ordered the hot dogs. Realized there was no nutritional info anywhere and the blurb about the dogs only refers to signature spices and ‘love’: “5 Hot Dogs (1lb pack) / frozen Everybody loves a good hotdog…but when you take this old method of sausage making and bring in all-natural Texas wagyu it is a whole other level of hot doggity goodness. 100% Wagyu beef, our signature spices, and a little love is all that goes into these awesome franks. These come 5 hot dogs per package.” BEWARE: Signature spices include sugar and preservatives. Unless that’s the “love” part. See attached photo of package.

I ordered wagyu short ribs, 20lbs. So of course it's not cheap. No problem. They sent me chuck short ribs. If you're looking for quality meat, go somewhere else. Very disappointed.

This place is great. It's one of a handful of premium butchers in the central Houston area. They have a number of fresh and frozen options including pre-made appetizers and sides. I also really liked the beef seasoning I got. The cuts of meat are top-notch so the prices are significantly higher than the grocery store but that's to be expected. I don't think it's outrageous. My only complaint is that they often run out of specific cuts so it's good to be flexible or otherwise call ahead if you absolutely need something in particular.

Consistently the finest meat in Houston. Friendly, knowledgeable staff make a trip to R C well worth the time.

Why go to Japan for Wagyu when you can head to the newly remodeled Airline Market! RC Ranch has opened their first store front after several years of online presence...and it could not be nicer. It's just not all Wagyu (although they have a fine selection from which to choose); but there are serious selections of other fine meats, poultry, prepared meals, desserts to be baked at home, spices/rubs, and jams/jellies. Most importantly, their staff is very amiable and excited to share their knowledge should you have questions about the various cuts and preparation methods. The store is located on the north east corner of the market right next-door to Underbelly Burgers... which by the way sell RC Ranch choice hamburgers and Wagyu burgers... absolutely the best in town. But that is for another review!

Great service and incredible product! Gave meat as Christmas gifts and everyone was flabbergasted!

RC Ranch does amazing job of being a local butcher that supplies some amazing wagyu to the area. Also, we have signed up for their butcher classes and have learned a ton.
