If you’re a fan of live music and a laid-back, artsy atmosphere, this place is an absolute must. The vibe is unmatched—intimate, eclectic, and full of character. You can tell it’s run by people who genuinely love music and community. The sound quality during the show I attended was fantastic, and the crowd was super friendly and chill. Drinks were reasonably priced, and the staff was awesome—helpful, fun, and clearly passionate about creating a great experience for everyone. This isn’t just a venue—it’s an experience. Whether you’re a local or just passing through Davenport, do yourself a favor and catch a show here. I’ll definitely be back!

What a vibey place! I'm a very anxious person and I came here by myself, and both the staff and the patrons were all super kind, and I had such a wonderful time that I suspect I'll be back many, many times.

Racoon Motel in Davenport, IA is a one-of-a-kind music experience. This quaint, cozy venue offers an intimate setting for enjoying unique and special shows. The eclectic lineup of bands and artists offers something for everyone. I recently had the pleasure of seeing American Aquarium perform here, and it was a great night. The smaller performance space makes it easy to feel connected to the music and the band. The staff were friendly.

I loved half their mead and didn't love the other half. So if you try something you don't like, don't give up. I had six the were excellent. I bought a case of various meads to go. I'll definitely be back, and recommend checking it out. They also have a very good beer selection. I don't think they have food, but they're attached to a restaurant. Live music when I was there.

A great venue with eclectic decor and a friendly atmosphere! They have an excellent selection of beer in cans or on draft. Plenty of places to park nearby or across the street in a free lot. Located next to Ragged Records! Many food options are within walking distance before the show!

The Legendary Raccoon Motel did not disappoint! We stayed in the one bedroom one bath, but this place is a whole condo, not anything like a studio at first glance. The living room is so spacious, everything is so new and clean, I would literally eat a fried egg off the floor. Fully equipped kitchen, bath, laundry on site, all clean and new as well. The location though... PRIME. The best food and drink Davenport has to offer? Numerous locations right down the road. Across the street even. Looking for a nightcap? Just head downstairs! There's even a stage downstairs so entertainment is on site as well. I couldn't find anything bad about this place. No complaints or criticisms. These guys are doing it right, like a full service package. Will stay here again for sure.

This little piece of heaven is a sanctuary I consider a home where my heart always resides. I’ve had so many beautiful memories here surrounded by the people I love the most, memories I will hold near and dear forever. Wow, what a great place! The Raccoon Motel has live music on a regular basis. The bar area is well laid out with interesting decor... and they have booths! Where you can actually sit down, and have a drink, and have a conversation. Super bonus; no sticky floors, no filthy bathrooms... this bar is very well maintained.
