Our cooking class with Chef Andrea Ruggiero at Rada was hands-down one of the highlights of our trip to the Amalfi Coast. From start to finish, the experience was interactive, fun, and absolutely delicious.
Chef Andrea is not only incredibly skilled but also warm and engaging, making the entire class feel approachable and entertaining—even if you're not an experienced cook. We prepared a beautiful three-course meal: classic margherita pizza with a homemade tomato sauce, fluffy gnocchi tossed in fresh basil pesto, and a decadent chocolate orange cake—a regional favorite. Every single dish was bursting with flavor and made with fresh, high-quality ingredients.
One of our favorite parts was the community-style dinner at the end. Sitting together to enjoy the feast we had all helped create, with the stunning backdrop of Positano, was a perfect way to end the class. It felt more like a party than a class, and we left full of both food and joy.
