We decided to take a chance on New Year’s Eve and stop by the Radisson Blu at the V&A, fully expecting that everything would be booked out, and we were pleasantly surprised. The fact that they kept a few tables open for walk-ins made all the difference and was very much appreciated. The atmosphere was fantastic, with a great live band that really set the tone for the evening. We enjoyed good wine, great company, and ended up sharing the space with other patrons who added to the lively, celebratory vibe. It felt welcoming, well-managed, and effortlessly enjoyable, exactly what you hope for on a busy night like New Year’s Eve. A big thank you to the team for creating such a memorable and relaxed experience. We’ll definitely be back.

I celebrated my 40th birthday 🎂 at the Radisson Collection Hotel, Waterfront Cape Town, and choosing this hotel was one of the best decisions I could have made. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by a very professional gentleman named Luyanda the true definition of exceptional customer service. He immediately engaged with my kids, made us feel at home, and even remembered that I was celebrating my birthday, wishing me a happy one before personally ushering us to the pool area. At the pool, we were then taken care of by another outstanding team member, Odwa, whose service was nothing short of amazing 👏. The level of attentiveness and warmth from both of them truly stood out. The hotel itself is immaculate 👌, smells amazing, and has such a welcoming atmosphere. Every staff member we encountered greeted us with a smile, making us feel genuinely valued as guests. I don’t usually give a 10/10 rating, but this experience deserves it. My family and I had a fantastic dining experience at the hotel’s restaurant. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. The décor was elegant yet comfortable, and the overall ambiance added to the enjoyment of the evening. The food was excellent, fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared, and the menu offered a great variety to suit different tastes. Everything we ordered was delicious and exceeded expectations. The service truly stood out. The staff was attentive, friendly, and professional, especially C-Jay and Natasha. Orders were taken promptly, and the team made sure we were comfortable throughout our meal. Overall, the restaurant delivered a high-quality dining experience with great food and exceptional service. I would highly recommend it to both hotel guests and visitors looking for a memorable meal.

Although my stay started with an issue, I truly appreciated the care, professionalism and kindness of Cindy and her team. The entire hotel went out of their way to ensure I had a very pleasant stay, and I am genuinely grateful for their attention. The hotel is beautifully located by the sea, in a very safe and enjoyable area, with an easy walk to the Waterfront and lively spots such as Grand Africa. The setting is both relaxing and vibrant, making it a wonderful place to stay. I would be happy to return.

Portion sizes are good, and the food quality is consistent, but the food was not the one we ordered, we've ordered seasonal vegetables, In future please stick to the customer's order. A well kept property in a beautiful location overlooking the Atlantic sea! The dining hall looks onto the Atlantic sea(as do the sea facing rooms) and most mornings we would see lots of dolphins right in font of the hotel! Staff were well trained and always polite! Rooms were clean! Breakfast was delicious though a little more change each day would have been good, as we were here 6 days! They have a transport shuttle service (which was always very prompt) to the nearby large shopping mall, which was really convenient! Also close to great walks along the beach esplanade! A great hotel in an AMAZING location!!

My family and I had the privilege of being served by Natasha and Ikhona. From the moment we arrived, they were friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. They made sure we were comfortable, checked in at the perfect times, and were incredibly patient and helpful with recommendations. Their positive attitude and professionalism truly elevated the entire dining experience. It’s rare to come across service that feels both efficient and heartfelt, and this was exactly that. I would happily return just for the exceptional service. Thank you for making our visit so memorable!

We had a wonderful stay. This hotel staff does a wonderful job catering to large groups. We traveled with over twenty people. The front desk staff was so welcoming and accommodating. They hosted happy hour daily and checked in regularly to ensure our stay was exceptional. The bell staff (Manfred, Garry, and David) and the wait staff in the restaurant (Louise) catered to our invidual needs with ease. In a week stay, they quickly anticipated our needs down to our coffee orders for breakfast! I could not have asked for a better welcome to South Africa.
