"In his kitchen in the restaurant of the time-honoured Victoria Jungfrau Grand Hotel, Stefan Beer only uses ingredients sourced within a 50km radius (the clue is in the name!). He proposes a conventional set menu and a vegan set menu, as well as a menu for two people sharing, which includes classics finished at your table and large cuts of meat. Diners are talked through the pleasingly uncomplicated dishes – sometimes by the chef. Produce that they harvest themselves is used, as well as local shrimps or caviar from the region. Very entertaining locavor cuisine in a refreshing setting. Original, delicious and perfectly balanced menu. Special attention to details as most of the tablewares are also local (sturgeon leather!!!) Excellent choice of wines. Service is welcoming and friendly.

Had been to many Michelin starred restaurants before across different countries. After the visit to Radius, I do have mixed feelings. Our family had an extremely wonderful dining experience there, from the consistency of dining concept, source to table, to the execution of both presentation and taste. It is easily amongst our favorites within the Michelin starred restaurants. The mixed feeling comes in as we felt Radius deserves better. The team gave us a near flawless experience which was extremely hard to execute at every level. This puts quite a few equal or higher starred restaurants to shame IMHO. I do think the Michelin team assessments are probably looking at restaurants from very different angles compared to us main stream consumers. To us, a good deserving restaurant is simple. A place to have a great meal, great time and want to come back for more. Radius has definitely delivered that and they are already beyond one star in my opinion.

What an unexpected delight. To be honest, a Michelin restaurant experience was never on my bucket list. But it should have been. Or maybe just Radius. We had such an incredible evening with the chef, our servers, and the sommelier. They were charming, professional, and knowledgeable. And, above all, the cuisine was phenomenal. We frequently closed our eyes, as we tasted each carefully crafted course. This meal/experience was an event that my husband was interested in. I went for him. I had such an amazing time, not just because of the pleasure it gave him. I had an amazing time, because the chef and the staff made sure of it.

My husband and I had a wonderful dinner together at Radius. All their ingredients are local and sourced from within 50 km which supports the immediate local community and cuts down on emissions from transport. The food is imaginative, creative, and delicious. The service is attentive, kind and jovial. This was the best meal we've had on our trip from Amsterdam to Germany and now to Switzerland. We are leaving on Friday but are going to try to squeeze in one more meal with them to try the vegan menu because that's how much we loved it. 💛

Every ingredient in this restaurant comes from the region within a certain radius, hence the name. I believe that a good dish begins from good ingredients, and this restaurant does not miss on that. Every small detail is perfectly crafted with the best quality, local ingredients. Also do not miss the Caviar dish, as it is very very special :)

Great service and atmosphere. Several dishes blew me away. But there were a few that were not my preference (it was a chicken dish and a cheese dish). We were given several extra dishes too that weren’t listed on the menu, which was a plus. We left feeling full and happy. Overall, it was a good experience and I enjoyed eating at a Michelin rated restaurant.

A special experience! Chef Beer’s concept is delicious, local, and refined. Each course told a story of Switzerland and while the food was not traditionally Swiss, it was so obviously rooted in the local ingredients of the region. The entire staff was lovely and it was a pleasure to meet the Chef himself! I also loved the wine suggestions from the Sommelier, my favorite being Coplantation by Anne‑Claire Schott. Thanks for a lovely evening!
