Les Nuages

"Sitting atop a skyscraper, this aptly named restaurant boasts high ceiling and commands breathtaking river views. Open for afternoon tea and dinner only, it serves Western classics like beef steaks dry-aged in-house. But it’s the chef’s menu melding Chinese ingredients with European techniques that truly surprises. Try deep-fried seaweed meatballs with runny crab roe and vinegar centres, and Chocolate Trio styled after Shanghainese retro snacks." - Michelin Inspector

One of the better shopping centres in Shanghai. I think it had 7 floors with a variety of clothes shops, restaurants, coffee shops and electronic/computer shops. The basement has even more food shops with a variety of bakeries. Inside the mall is also a very unique cat cafe where you can pay to enter this room with about 25 adorable cats that you can pet and play with for as long as you like. The mall is very close to the historical shopping center with the old buildings.

醉舍·新淮扬菜(zui she •xin huai yang cai) Which is shanghai cuisine. The restaurant is located in the mall 2F, easy access. The vibe of the restaurant is elegant and comfort with warm and dark light. We ordered some typical menu and the hong shao rou is really soft and delicious(highly recommend!), and the vegi salad also fresh and clear. The service is super good, staff kindly help us check the menu, serving eel food and welcome drink, explain food and tell us be care of the hot food. Like a 360 degree care. It’s a really good dinner experience at here.

Love this mall! It is very accessible via the metro. There are a lot of food choices in B1 and the fashion choices are extensive as well. This mall is not to be missed. I have been here twice and will definitely come back again on my next trip to Shanghai

I can’t find all shops listed - like some of them are closed already or hidden lol. Also I had lunch in a restaurant that is not on the directory list - RTF PIZZA . Not bad. Pizza is being made in oven. They have brunch options, pasta and pizza.

the Roll’ing. I’m very particular into sweetness, doughiness, cream and cake ratio. the Roll’ing slays it. Amazingly low sugariness, perfectly doughy, butterly and enriched unsweetened cream. Savoured the whole piece alone in two servings 😈. Lastly it’s really cheap.

This is a highend shopping mall along Xizhang Road and resembles the one in Singapore, from where we are. Besides the boutique stores ranging from fashion to watch covering several storeys, there are also cinemas, restaurants and eateries (mostly at the basement) and is directly link to the People's Park metro station via the underpass. It's a good place to keep yourself cool as the weather out there was sunny and warm, over some finger food or drinks. For us, being causal travellers, we just did our windows shopping and got some drinks to stay hydrate.
