My stay at Raffles was nothing short of exceptional—truly one of the finest hotels I have ever experienced. Before I even boarded my flight home, the staff contacted me to let me know that I had accidentally left my iPad behind in my room. What happened next completely blew me away: they actually had a butler personally drive it to the airport to ensure I didn’t leave the country without it. That level of care and service is simply remarkable and speaks volumes about the integrity and dedication of the team. From the very beginning of my stay, the attention to detail was incredible. The staff sent thoughtful reminders and helpful information about my airport transfer, ensuring everything went smoothly. Every interaction felt warm, personal, and genuinely kind. The hotel itself is immaculate—beautifully maintained, elegant, and the definition of top-tier luxury. Every space feels timeless and refined, and the service matches the stunning surroundings. Raffles has mastered the art of hospitality. Between the extraordinary service, the generosity of the staff, and the stunning property, it stands out as one of the best places I have ever stayed. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Stayed at the Raffles Makati on my recent visit to Manila. It was by far the best hotel experience I have had in Manila and one of the best experiences around the world in my 35+ years of travel! The level of customer service is outstanding! Sheenah at front desk made me feel right at home upon check in (and check out). I was upgraded to a spectacular larger suite that even had a cocktail bar cart with complimentary drinks to mix your own drinks :) I had breakfast at Mireio every day - the quality and quantity of the food were amazing! I ate so much at breakfast that I didn’t even need lunch or afternoon tea ;) Grace (and Jamie) at Mireio made the breakfast experience even more remarkable - they remembered what I liked (eg cooked eggs, what fruits and how cut) and had everything ready for me each day The evening cocktails at the Writers Bar were also superb! Enka and Cyril made me feel very welcome and were very accommodating The butler and concierge services team (Ben, Sebastian, and especially Ivan) greatly helped in making dinner arrangements and providing great information on the venues I wanted to visit Overall, my experience at the Raffles Makati was fantastic! I would return here and would recommend to my colleagues also. While the hotel and amenities are very luxurious, the suites very comfortable and inviting, it’s the people that make the difference and what I will remember the most

we stayed here as part of our honeymoon trip and couldn't have felt more welcomed. from the moment we arrived we were immediately immersed in another world. the room was beautiful and spacious, with every amenity you can think of (and even amenities you wouldn't remember, like mouthwash, loofah, and even a dyson hairdryer!). the rooms are also very elegant and the bathrooms beautiful. other than that, the service is subpar. and the food delicious - the breakfast had a lovely buffet and you could also order a la carte (which we did). the lunch options are also delicious. and they have a great variety of not only western, but also filipino and other asian cuisines. thank you to everyone who made our stay so special!

What an incredible hotel this is! We arrived late in the evening and we felt welcomed from the moment we stepped through the door. We were kindly upgraded to a suite which was beautiful. The service at every part of the hotel is wonderful with everyone so friendly! We ate breakfast in the Mireio restaurant which was delicious. I also experienced food by the pool as well which was lovely. Overall, if you want a beautiful hotel with incredible staff and food, I would 100% recommend here. Thank you so much, we will be back.

Had an amazing two-night stay at Raffles Makati. The level of customer service is truly impeccable. From the smallest details to the genuine warmth of every interaction, the experience reflects the luxury and quality that Raffles is known for. Every member of the staff takes the time to pause and greet you, which makes you feel genuinely welcomed and well cared for. The room was spacious, immaculately clean, and tastefully designed with elegant, classic touches. I particularly appreciated having a personal butler assigned to the room—an added touch that elevated the entire stay. Both check-in and check-out were seamless and completely frictionless. The dining options were excellent, and it’s easy to see why Mireio on the 9th floor has earned Michelin recognition. Tea time from 2PM to 5:00 PM, with the various selections of goodies and variations of tea, was such a memorable experience. Overall, a refined and memorable stay that truly lives up to the Raffles name!

One of the best hotel experiences I've had! The Raffles team were exceptional and went above and beyond to make our stay special. From reception, butler, to the lounge, breakfast wait staff, cleaners, doormen - everyone did an amazing job! Even the band in the Longroom bar were incredible! The gym is one of the best hotel gyms I've been to, and shared with the Fairmont hotel. Lots of weight machines and plenty of cardio equipment. Raffles has a private pool and spa, which caters to the 32 Raffles guest rooms. I was impressed with the ergonomic desk chair and double wireless battery charging station. There was a cocktail cart in our suite which was fun! The Raffles team have really focused on the details. Thank you for a truly wonderful and memorable stay!

Had a great experience staying at Raffles in Makati. Starting with check in, Mark at the front desk upgraded one of our rooms to a larger suite, while our butlers Sebastian and JP were extremely accommodating with all of our requests throughout our stay. One of the rooms had an extremely loud AC unit, but overall, very comfortable and modern/upgraded furnishings. Spa services were good and reasonably priced. Fitness center and gym were clean and well attended.

I live in Washington DC and I only come here because they take care of me. I extended my trip for 3 more days and I fly back here again on the 14th(after leaving on the 12th for a meeting). I can't believe im writing a review while in the hotel room. If you book then book the legacy suite. Amar Singh

Wow!! Just did ten days in Philippines and ended my trip here. What an amazing hotel. Massive rooms, WiFi, massive bathroom, gym and an amazing pool on the fourth floor. It really almost makes you feel bad being in such a huge place and having such poor people around below you. But for those of you that don't want the craziness of Manila this is the spot for you!!! Awesome staff that treat you like royalty and it's about $400 American dollars per night. 1,600 pesos($32) to eat breakfast here. Which is extremely high but I am sure it's going to be worth it. The room has a full kitchen, washer/dryer and a few other amenities you would never expect. If you can be sure to stay here at least a night to get the experience!

This hotel is so luxurious from the spacious bath to the king size bed. I had the pool area for my room view and so relaxing during the day and serene at night. I had my own butler so I felt like a king during my wonderful stay.

This is the best hotel in Manila. Hands down, no contest. In my line of work, I've had to go to a lot of places claiming to provide me with a luxury experience, and only Raffles was able to truly blow me away and be worth every penny spent and more. Personal butler service? Check. Luxuriously spacious suite? Check. Ridiculous bathroom? Check! Two pools, afternoon tea, cocktails at Long Bar, extensive in-room dining menu, excellent buffet standards... I would buy it. I would spend 30k a night. I would live here if I could. (Raffles is part serviced residences and part all-suite hotel.) The best thing about Raffles is their service. I think it's underrated, but their service is unlike any other place. Their signature style is to keep the colonial charm of whichever location the hotel is at. Since they're in the Philippines, this trait is juxtaposed with the intrusive hospitable service man, and just gives a sense of refinement not often found in this part of the world.

Let me echo what many others are saying. This is the best hotel in Manila! I have traveled quite a bit to Manila for work over the last few years and have been fortunate enough to stay in some of the finer hotels. Normally I stay at the Makati Shangri-La but an unfortunate room accident that almost seriously injured my wife, dubious hiding of the fact that their pool was being renovated (not mentioned on their website or during check-in) and general indifference by the Area Manager when the problems were reported, I decided enough was enough and checked out of that garbage hotel and into that little slice of heaven I now know as Raffles Makati. This was my first time staying at any Raffles hotel and while I knew Raffles to be a higher end hotel I wasn't prepared for the level of service I was to receive! It's a boutique 32-room all-suites hotel nestled on the same property as the Fairmont Makati. And although the hotels are connected they are very different. Raffles has personal butler service, spacious suites and bathrooms, private pool, not to mention complimentary afternoon high tea and evening cocktails in the lounge. But what really sets this hotel apart is the incredible service. The check-in process was efficient and friendly. I had 4 front desk managers introduce themselves to me before I had even finished checking in. Before my wife and I had finished unpacking our bags, 2 personal butlers had come by to welcome us and offer to show us room features or property amenities. Almost every day when I left or returned to the hotel I was greeted by name by one of the on-duty managers. And I really enjoyed the staff at the Writer's Bar Lounge. After the second day visiting this lounge, I was always greeted by Kaye and/or Grace by name. I decided to have breakfast at the Writer's Bar because, as good as the Spectrum Breakfast Buffet was, you can only have buffet breakfast so often. The second time I went Writer's Bar for breakfast the waiter asked if I wanted the same tea and newspaper I had last time. Wow! Impressive indeed! Check-out was quick and easy and we opted for a hotel car (Toyota Camry) to bring us to the airport. Our bags were loaded by the time I had finished reviewing my folio and we had 2 managers, 2 front desk personnel, and 2 butlers say goodbye and see us off. We felt like royalty! Staying at Raffles Makati was definitely a treat! I am definitely looking forward to my next stay at this hotel!

favorite hotel in manila the executive suite is beautiful and service is great too i just wish the ice bucket was always filled as expected in a hot climate city love the afternoon tea and evening cocktails too. the long bar has ridiculous cocktails!!!! and the bfast buffet is great even though i hate buffets. great job raffles!!

My family's home for 1 1/2 months. We felt like royalty. Impeccable personal service, exquisite rooms, and topnotch international breakfast at Spectrum downstairs, also serving world class lunch and dinner. Long bar serves the best chicharron (pork cracklings) I've ever tasted. Props to the tight security. Good enough fitness center & pools that are always pristine and never crowded.

I haven't stayed in the Henry hotel or any of the new hotels in City of dreams, but I do believe this is the best hotel in Manila. It was about time that a good hotel with a good name opened up in Manila. The peninsula only has a name but doesn't live up to international standards. Raffles hotel does, dramatic entrance and lots of use of marble feels very chique. The rooms are huge, that's because they only have suits. There is an area where you can watch TV, there is a dining area with fresh fruits and reading materials. The bedroom is the largest and there is plenty of closet space. The bathroom is the size of my current bedroom. The swimming pool is not really for laps but more for a dip. It's deep and there are some corners you can have privacy. When you get out of the pool the staff has replaced your towel with a fresh one. Only thing that was a shame was the sewage smell that came out of the bathroom. That is really something that needs to be fixed and doesn't live up to the raffles standards. Therefore I deduct 1 star.
