"Gigli pasta with clams and mussels from the Mar del Plata, spaghetti alla Chitarra with a traditional carbonara sauce, conchiglioni alla Puttanesca, and the family’s own recipe for panna cotta are just some of the delights on offer in this contemporary-style restaurant on the ground floor of the Pleno Palermo Soho hotel, not far from the luxuriant Carlos Thays botanical garden, where Italian cuisine is the undoubted star of the show. Chef Sebastián Raggiante, who hails from Bologna (the capital of the northern Italian region of Emilia Romagna), reinterprets recipes from his homeland with an honest approach, with a primary focus on flavour and the use of the best zero-mile Argentinian ingredients. A dish that particularly impressed us was the “brasato di guancia” (cheek stew with tomatoes, red wine and capers), requiring a minimum of six hours of low-temperature cooking." - Michelin Inspector

A MUST while in Buenos Aires for sure! I’m a snobby New Yorker who has worked in Italian restaurants in NYC and visited every region in Italy several times and this place is the one that comes closest to the real thing. They bake their bread in the house, their olive oil and wine selection from Mendoza are all perfectly curated to pair with their dishes. We started with the eggplant parmegiano as per our lovely wait staff Brian’s recommendation followed by the Taglioni with shrimp al dente and braised beef cooked to perfection. As if we couldn’t be happier, Brian once again surprised us with house made gelato tasting and the best dessert of my life, the family recipe pannacotta takes the award. It was an insane pairing of rich creaminess and a bit of the burnt caramel at the top. This place will definitely go down as one of my all time favorites! Thank you everyone involved! Bravo, bravissimo!!

Ask for Fernanda she is exceptional, fantastic wine knowledge, and the dishes she recommended… she read us like a book! Best lasagna I’ve ever had and I lived in Italy for a month. Cocktails are super reasonable price. Can’t thank her enough for her service and kindness. Give this girl a RAISE

Very cozy little Italian restaurant. The food was incredible, and our waitress Xiomara was amazing. I had a ham and cheese filled pasta was a red meat sauce that was just perfect.

Elegant and cozy gastronomical space inside the Own Grand Palermo Soho Hotel. Attention to detail is evident in the interior design and choice of cutlery and dinnerware. The pasta dishes we ordered were regrettably unimpressive and underwhelming. I have eaten far more superior pastas at a much humbler restaurants in Buenos Aires without the Michelin star qualification. I suppose the culinary experience is truly subjective and different people will invariably have distinct opinions.

the bread they bring to the table comes with red onion, thinly sliced meat, and tomato jam. all super delicious. i would gladly go back just for that, but the whole experience was fantastic with the very kind waitstaff and delicious food.

It’s so rare for me to give less than 4 star but this restaurant was beyond awful. The service was terrible. Waiter would take one drink order at a time, the food took forever to arrive. I tried my Gnocchi as well lol as friends dishes and they were all tasteless. This place wins the award for worst Italian food I’ve had

5.9/10, if without the pasta, 7/10 Good service and cokotails Amazing fired bread before dinning, maybe it’s the best in Buenos Aires. The sauce didn’t melt with the pasta, at the same time lack out favor, the so-called handmade of pasta couldn’t warp up the main problem of the dish. The favor of Tiramisu is rich, because of the chocolate, maybe a little bit too much sugar in that chocolate part. Enjoy the service, Tiramisu, the bread, and the cocktail.
