A MUST while in Buenos Aires for sure! I’m a snobby New Yorker who has worked in Italian restaurants in NYC and visited every region in Italy several times and this place is the one that comes closest to the real thing. They bake their bread in the house, their olive oil and wine selection from Mendoza are all perfectly curated to pair with their dishes. We started with the eggplant parmegiano as per our lovely wait staff Brian’s recommendation followed by the Taglioni with shrimp al dente and braised beef cooked to perfection. As if we couldn’t be happier, Brian once again surprised us with house made gelato tasting and the best dessert of my life, the family recipe pannacotta takes the award. It was an insane pairing of rich creaminess and a bit of the burnt caramel at the top. This place will definitely go down as one of my all time favorites! Thank you everyone involved! Bravo, bravissimo!!

Ask for Fernanda she is exceptional, fantastic wine knowledge, and the dishes she recommended… she read us like a book! Best lasagna I’ve ever had and I lived in Italy for a month. Cocktails are super reasonable price. Can’t thank her enough for her service and kindness. Give this girl a RAISE

Was very surprised by the positive reviews - probably one of the worse Italian meals I have ever had. Initial bread was basic and nothing special. My main pasta meal of Tagliatelle Fungi Salsiccia was horrible - terrible taste and low quality ingredients - could not eat. The tiramisu was wet at its base - I suspect was frozen and thawed out. My final bill included a dessert I did not order and did not include the 10% cash discount. Definitely would not recommend.

Elegant and cozy gastronomical space inside the Own Grand Palermo Soho Hotel. Attention to detail is evident in the interior design and choice of cutlery and dinnerware. The pasta dishes we ordered were regrettably unimpressive and underwhelming. I have eaten far more superior pastas at a much humbler restaurants in Buenos Aires without the Michelin star qualification. I suppose the culinary experience is truly subjective and different people will invariably have distinct opinions.

Very cozy little Italian restaurant. The food was incredible, and our waitress Xiomara was amazing. I had a ham and cheese filled pasta was a red meat sauce that was just perfect.

the bread they bring to the table comes with red onion, thinly sliced meat, and tomato jam. all super delicious. i would gladly go back just for that, but the whole experience was fantastic with the very kind waitstaff and delicious food.

The pasta x2 was just off. Bland, overcooked and undercooked. The pasta on one was stuck together like Mac n cheese. Considering how carefully I chose this place it was incredible disappointing. I called them out on the claim of an Italian chef cooking the meal, and it was confirmed. I’ve had some incredible pasta dishes in many different countries including Argentina. This was a huge letdown! Shout out to Giovanna, she was terrific and did the best she could under the circumstances. Speedy recovery to the absent chef, they need him back.
