Raglin Market

Great brunch at good (for boulder) prices. We had the brisket platter, cheesecake french toast and biscuits and gravy. Of these, the clear winner was the French toast but everything was tasty and everyone was happy.

Came here on Monday evening for a date night and it was great. We sat outside and both got the Ahi Market Plate with the vegan quinoa salad and raglan fries. The fries almost didn’t need ketchup- there was a light amount of some kind of malt flavor on them and it was very tasty. Ahi cooked perfectly. Also the garlic aioli and vegan tahini sauce both very good. In a quiet, neighborhood-y area. Highly recommended.

Conveniently located in Gunbarrel right off of Lookout road. The atmosphere is so quaint and cozy. I got the Garlic Shrimp Sandwich and iced tea. All of their beverages are fresh and local! Another person I came with got the Steak Market Plate and it was delicious! Highly recommend this place for a nice lunch.

Extremely kind staff and amazing fresh food! The garden burrito on their breakfast menu was fantastic. 10/10 will be recommending Raglin to my friends and am looking forward to going again in the near future!

Almost as fresh as you can get! Service was friendly and quite fast. Atmosphere was very modern and clean. The food tasted okay. My beets were oddly stringent for a food with a lot of natural sugar. I also prefer to have my salad dressed with something other than blood. Someone with a taste for raw foods probably would have liked it more. If you’re into a raw food experience, then this is a good restaurant for you because of the quality and freshness.

Yummity, yum, yum, yum. I keep wanting to try everything since it all looks so good but I can’t get over the Italian Dip. My girlfriends and tried to overstay out welcome, but the staff was more than happy to let us talk forever. Lots of vegan/veggie options and tasty wines. One of my new favorites. So glad I finally found Raglin.

Exceeded expectations! I got the Raglin Cubana with a side salad. The salad was large and not your average ice berg lettuce fair! Lots of arugula, multicolored cherry tomatoes, carrots and radish and a delish light vinaigrette. The Cubana had tons of tender flavorful meat, crisp pickles, the perfect amount of cheese, and a really good mustard on a quality bun. This meal made me happy! And the staff were really pleasant and friendly. So happy I stopped in. Highly recommended!

Wowsers, I just had the best lunch in my almost half a century in Gunbarrel. I have an appreciation for fine local ingredients in simple preparations and this was spot on! Thank you Raglin Market for a great experience.

Love this place, GREAT SALADS for vegies, they are HUGE. Have a Service dog, They will be spoiled! Free WIFI, check on open times, $$ Service is excellent, Several Veggie dishes along with a host of other aromic items, SOUP increadible. The owner and Chef, has a beautiful PitBull, "This is my Baby!"

Delicious food, very friendly staff, and great location (for me). Wish it was more well known- I think more people would come if they knew how good it was.

A friend and I met here for lunch, and really enjoyed our super fresh and interesting salads. The grilled salmon added to the salads was done perfectly,-moist and flavorful. We sat outside and enjoyed the flowers. They are to start breakfast service soon! We'll definitely be back!

Delicious! this is a step up in freshly-made sandwiches & salads. They served in-season CO peach cobbler and choc chip bread pudding- both amazing! With a selection of beer, wine and cocktails, this place is great for lunch, HH or dinner. The chef was working solo and had respectfully warned of the time required to make fresh food right. So glad I stayed and waited. Looking forward to visiting again soon!

Didn't like the pulled pork sandwich. The meat was too tough. The menu is short and doesn't match the online menu.

My salad was really good. I think for an 8$ salad it should come in a smaller box, it makes it underwhelming when 1/5 of the box is filled with salad and most of it is onion... My sandwich was bland but the pork was tender, the side salad was good and so was the bread. You can definitely taste that the veggies are extremely fresh. They're super crisp and flavorful. I Would come back again but I wouldn't order the sandwich.

Thank you for all the great reviews everyone!i followed your recommendations. Today was my first and definitely NOT my last visit here! I am so happy this eatery opened up near my school. Not only did it taste great, but it was also affordable for a Boulder good eats. Per the hostess' recommendation, I went with the Market Plate ($13) you get a choice of a protein and two sides. I went with the steak, the fingerling potatoes, and a butternut squash. The portions were great, my steak was made just right, and the steak was flavorful and tender. The place did start to get crowded at noon, so plan ahead, there's about 20ish seat and it's a first-come-first-serve basis. Lastly, kudos to doing such a great job and the service was awesome!! Until next time!!

Great local spot worth supporting for any gunbarrel residents who like having local options. They source their food well, even grow some of their own produce as I learned today. My husband had a burger for lunch and thought it was better than most burgers anywhere. Very sweet staff. Their build your own plates, burgers, and specials are all worth a try.

Was in the are and popped in for a sandwich. The place was cute and the staff friendly. Everything made to order. I think that I picked the wrong sandwich. I got the Steak and it was cut way too thick to be on a sandwich. I ended up eating it with a fork and knife. And even then cooked to medium rare it was pretty tough. Could have been the cut. The caramelized onions were too sweet with no acid to counterbalance and the bun disintegrated. The fries were perfect as was the house wine. Would try again if in the area and pick something different.

In one word I would say this restaurant experience was amazing. I had the Salmon BLT with a side salad. This was the most delicious Salmon sandwich I have ever had. And the tossed salad with Green Goddess dressing was fresh and outstanding. The sandwich was cooked to perfection and hot off the grill. I came with high expectations and they clearly exceeded them. Any wait is worth it because the chef here cooks like a master, and the help was very friendly and fun to speak to. I can not wait to go back. The outside table was also very nice and enjoyable.

I splurged, or attempted to splurge, on a delivery from Raglin Market, for dinner. I placed my order online, was charged, and shown the notification status. About 45 minutes later, the Nosh driver called me from the restaurant saying it was totally closed. I felt so badly for the driver. It was maybe 16 degrees with the wind chill. I emailed the restaurant asking what was up and asking that they change their online status to closed, and haven't heard back. Still no refund.

This place is a joke. Called 3 times and the phone was never picked up. Came in to order and they said they were busy. No big deal. The chef then seasoned food after reaching into his pocket to get his wallet. Then grabbed stuff out of his wallet and put it on the cutting board. Gross. Also was tasting food with his hands. On the menu it states the cost + your choice of side. She tried charging me for the sides even though it says it's included. Then she couldn't take it off the bill and had to ask the chef. Sorry but this place has gone downhill. Bring back the guy from Avery who helped open the place. At least he knew what was going on.

I was looking for a quick lunch spot and was not disappointed. My wife had the French dip and I had the Croque Monsieur. The brisket in the French dip was very tender, flavorful and delicious. I loved my dish too. Amazing spot and can't wait to try dinner here next. Check it out.

Ordered jerk chicken sandwich. Sauce and spice was bland, and chicken breast was super thick, not pounded or tenderized. Side salad was not dressed. Hoping quality isn't slipping. Other orders have been more satisfying. Crossing fingers for local restaurants to survive and even thrive through these times.

Wow! I went in for a the creamy mushroom soup and it did not disappoint. I'm having the leftovers for breakfast today. I savor every bite. It was followed by a homemade butterfinger. This happens to be my favorite candy bar .... I understand this is unique. Monique nailed the flakey buttery filling. Can't wait to try the rest of the new menus items !

To-Go Orders are your chance of making first impressions amazing by getting the order right...a bad first impression on a take out, results in little chance of a return customer. A mistake made in house, lends an opportunity to fix it on the spot and make it right. What went wrong: Typically a farro and greens comes with farro or it wouldn't be called a farro and greens. It's quite a boring dish when the main ingredient is missing. As for the flank steak sandwich, it had great potential, but the proportions were way off. I love blue cheese, like really love it, but a 1/2in+ layer of blue cheese overwhelms the sandwich leaving little chance to actually taste the chimichurri or the steak itself. Once it was scrapped off it made about a 1.5 in diameter ball just to give you reference on the amount of cheese we are talking about. You know the saying, less is more. This should be followed in this sandwich. What went right: Once I got to the steak, it was very tender and had great flavor. Also, the quality of bread was amazing too! The beets were delicious--so keep up the great work there!

Extremely SALTY food!!! Raglin Market was good a couple of years ago with the previous owners but, the new owner/ chef clearly doesn't know how to prepare foods without adding a ton of salt. Awful food and horribly overpriced for what you get.

My daughter and I had a lovely al fresco lunch. I had a steak sandwich with a delicious side salad (perfectly dressed with lemon juice and olive oil). The French bread was very fresh and the steak tender. My daughter had the vegetable focaccia and loved it (it also came with the same yummy side salad). When the server (she was also at the cash register and took our order) brought our lunch, one half of the focaccia slide off the plate onto the ground. We asked her to just leave the other half and salad and the server returned shortly with a whole sandwich. We were impressed with the customer service. We will be back.

I will preface this review with the fact that I have never eaten there and never will. I had a not-so-pleasant encounter with the owner. He was driving relatively fast in the parking lot behind the restaurant. I stopped to tell him to stop driving so fast. He immediately got out of the car proceeded to get in my face cussing and spitting in my face yelling that he owns the raglin market. I told him to stop speeding because my family walks through that same parking lot and he said and I quote "Sorry mf." I admit I cussed back at him, he returned back in my face cussing and spitting and threatening me to fight. I backed up and he followed me. He finally left because a small group was watching. Called me a P#@$& and left. I will never eat there.

Now open for breakfast and the Beignets with a lemon dipping sauce is heaven. Not "like heaven". Powdered sugar beignets FTW!

I don't normally write reviews but I stopped by tonight for my only night in Gunbarrel, and MAN I was blown away. Bree and Mark are so hospitable, they literally made my experience! Then I had the food, icing on the cake. Thank you and I hope to be back in Gunbarrel because of those two.

Loved it! Had the Market Plate with jerk, potatoes, and spicy slaw. The jerk chicken wasn't some super legit islands jerk, but it had great flavor and the chicken was moist. I actually had no idea there was jerk chicken here until we got here. So not like it was some sought out menu item, but was pretty happy to see it on a menu up here in Gunbarrel. The slaw was was tasty with a slight heat and potato salad was cool, fresh, and creamy without being heavy. The arugula salad was a nice touch. Clean spot. Food came pretty fast. Staff was friendly. We'll be back.

I do not how this place doesn't have a perfect 5 star rating. Food is always spot on, they mix it up so I can try new things, the employees are phenomenal. Get the mushroom soup, it's bad ass

Great choice for fast casual spot. Fresh, clean, healthy dishes. Nice atmosphere, and super friendly staff. They are eager to please. I've been in several times, and always enjoy the experience and love the food.

Yikes. This place is grossly understaffed and the employees are undertrained. The chef was cussing out the cashier when we were here and we couldn't order what we wanted because they didn't know how to make it. It also took forever to get food and the glassware and cutler was dirty. Don't recommend.

Would be 5 stars but you've got to deal with your fly problem. It's happened now twice in a row. Multiple flys pestering the entire meal. Gross and annoying. Tried to email you, but no contact on your website

I wish I could give this place less than 1 star. While the food was absolutely mouth watering the customer service was the worst I've ever experienced. The employees were always talking very loudly about the owner and how they had not been paid yet. I live across the street and have put up with the terrible service for the convenience of a quick bite. I witnessed the employees stage a walk out because the owner had not paid them (they still have not opened) They also stated the owner had not been paying rent for the restaurant itself. While not being paid would upset me as well it was clear the employees did not want to work. It has been closed for several weeks with a poorly written sign on the door from this walk out. There is still food on the counters and tea in the dispensers. I hope that this place never opens again to give space to a better and more welcoming one.

Never open. Have tried to visit this location on three separate occasions. Would like to have gone here, but it is never open.

We've come here twice during Covid. The place is always empty and the food is fantastic! Service is good, place is clean and a little cold cuz they keep the doors open, even at night. But the food has been excellent for both our meals both times. I got the grilled steak with a side of pave (potato & cheese casserole) - SO GOOD! Tonight I had the shrimp salad and potato soup with a glass of Pino- warm, zesty shrimp on cold, zesty, crunchy seasoned cabbage- it was delicious! We selfishly hope this place doesn't get too popular cuz we wanna keeping as our little local secret!- but it deserves its props!

Ansolutely delicious! The Autumn salad with shrimp, Caesar with steak, Ribollita soup and cauliflower and beet sides were perfect. Lots of delicious options that are also gluten-free. Cool setting and soundtrack. Great addition to Gunbarrel.

Enjoyed my sandwich there when everyone was wearing masks. Considering children can't be vaccinated I walked out today when the cook and manager/other employee were unmasked. The cook had his under his chin... the other guy wasn't wearing one. Frankly I love food service people masking. I haven't been sick in over a year.

The service was friendly and the restaurant was clean and inviting, plus several kid-friendly options were available and the soda was delicious. However, the sandwiches weren't great. I had the Steak Wedge, with pieces of steak varying from apparently raw in the center to so tough I couldn't chew. By the time I'd taken a couple of bites that I thought were pretty good, I realized that I had essentially removed all of the actual meat. My wife had the Reuben and also wasn't impressed. The bread was toasted nearly completely black and I had initially mistaken the corned beef for bacon in appearance. We also tried the tomato soup, which tasted more like a bitter marinara sauce than what we were expecting.

First dinner there was fantastic. Great selections, kid friendly, and killer desserts for a fast casual place. Loved the unique kombucha and beers on tap. Great addition to the neighborhood.

I was looking for something quick and healthy and the power salad far exceeded my expectations. Everything was very fresh and perfectly seasoned. Definitely coming back !

My girlfriend and I had an incredible experience here today. The food was amazing, bountiful and full of taste. As good as our food was the service was even better. Our hostess / server was on point with recommendations and free samples of wine. The head chef Scott stopped by with free Carne Asada tacos and tequila shots giving us a taste of their taco Tuesday specials. We felt so welcome and appreciated, the steak sandwich was full of flavor and the produce in our salad was beyond fresh. Highly recommend!
