This location is the one next to town center in Suwanee. Very convenient walk to the Square. They have outdoor patio seating or inside seating. The restaurant inside is very beautifully decorated. I love the wooden accents and chairs, and they did a great job on the design. The food is very colorful and pretty however the taste to me fell short. Most of our friends don't like to eat lamb because it has a gamy taste to it. For some reason all the meat items we ordered had that same taste, which was quite offputting. The best thing on the menu that we tried was the pita bread. It tasted like it was homemade, so soft, fresh, fresh, and hot out of the oven. The eggplant baba ganoush was very pretty with tiny bits of pomegranate to give it a pop of color and green olive oil. My only complaint was that it came out very white and creamy and didn't have much eggplant in it. The baked pita was a great start to our meal and then everything else went down from there. We ordered the fried calamari, which in their pictures look very crispy, but when we received it, it was very oily and lightly battered. Which made it so it not crispy. The dipping sauce was half of the plate. The serving size was pretty small for the calamari in my opinion. We ordered the beef 2 of each Shawarma bowl and chicken Shawarma bowl. To our surprise, the chicken Shawarma tasted exactly like Lamb meet. Our friends do not like to eat lamb when we asked if we can switch the plate to just a plain salad with no protein, the chef was glad to do it. He did mention that the lamb is cooked on top of the chicken so there may have been some cross contamination in flavor. I hope they change the process they cook it, because that could be a big issue for lots of people. Both salads we tried on the menu were very refreshing, colorful ,and good. The lunch sandwich is really a wrap and not a sandwich. It's a whole stuffed pita cut in half. They do pack it with a lot of protein, but very little vegetable. It comes with a side of French fries. The french fries tasted a lot better than the pita sandwich itself. The fries tasted very similar to five guys french fries. Overall, the taste in food was why we gave it a two everything else was OK.. service was just fine, we had a newer-young server a little unexperienced, but that wasn't an issue at all for us.
