We recently dined here and overall had a decent experience. However, our service was a bit underwhelming. The server didn’t seem as attentive or engaged as we had hoped, which impacted our overall experience. We understand everyone can have an off day, but it didn’t quite feel like the level of service that usually warrants a full 20% tip. That said, the atmosphere and food were still enjoyable, and we’d be open to giving the restaurant another try in the future.

I wanted to try some clam chowder and this spot was one of the few that was open at 10am. The chowder was phenomenal; I should've ordered the bigger portion. I followed it up with some crab cakes which were delicious. Made me take small bites to appreciate it fully. I went in on a Sunday morning and the place was not busy, but traffic grew when I left. Service was fine; environment was great.

Can you say SLAPALICIOUS???!! Honeeyyyyeeee that Eggs Benedict Hollandaise sauce was a symphony on my tongue! Oh and the Hibiscus Mimosa was the winner by FAR out of all that was on the Mimosa Tree. We made reservations for this past Sunday and noticed the table next to us had this beautiful Mimosa tree so we decided to do the same, you get four choices - Pineapple Juice, Pear, Strawberry Lemonade and Hibiscus were our selections. The Steak Tips and Eggs were scrumptious (as witnessed that the plate was clean) and the Belgian waffle hit the spot. Also the Acai bowl was enjoyed as well. Not a bad item did we have at our table. The bacon was a little over done but they replaced them as soon as we said something. Service was efficient and the ambiance here is so nice. Great spot for brunch! I will be back. I will say this stay away from the Pear Mimosa it didn't have any real flavor. Respectfully Reviewed.

Accommodating staff helped us out even though we were a few minutes late for our reservation. They were welcoming and we thoroughly enjoyed a quick meal and drink before a concert! Great stop in walking distance to all the venues. Highly recommend!

My son likes his tomato soup and the chicken and my lobster sandwich is good too. Place is nice 👍🏼for business or personal

We had our engagement party at Rail Stop back in March and truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We booked the Brighton Room, which was the perfect space. It was beautiful, private, and just the right size for our celebration. From the very beginning April was an absolute dream to work with. She made the entire planning process so easy and stress-free. The staff on the day of the event were just as wonderful. Everyone was attentive, friendly, and so accommodating, which meant so much. The food and drinks were a huge hit with our guests. We left that evening feeling so grateful. Not just from our family and friends, but also from the care and attention the Rail Stop team gave us. If you're looking for a venue for a special occasion, we can’t recommend them highly enough!

Google
Nice restaurant, ample seating, wait staff is very patient and helpful. Nice decor. Food is delicious. We ordered Mac n cheese and Chicken fingers for kids and they loved it. We ordered firecracker shrimp for starters, it was delicious. “Roasted Atlantic Salmon” was perfectly cooked and the white cream sauce was sweetly yummy. I also ordered “Lobster Roll” which again was very nice but the lime juice in the bread was on the higher side and was overpowering the whole lobster taste. 1 less star for that. They have great selection of cocktails which I didn’t realize as they gave only one drink menu for our table. I realized it after ordering my beer. I wish the wait staff have given separate drinks menu or informed the guests about their cocktail selection. Parking is available on street and in the parking garage. Imp: right now it’s mandatory to show your vaccination card before entering, so please don’t forget it at home.

Yelp
Great food. Great vibes. Great service. We were in the area for a track meet and wanted to grab a bite while visiting the New Balance outlet. What a great choice. We arrived at 2:25 and were told that we could still get brunch despite it ending at 2:30. Score! I split a mimosa flight with a friend and made my own omelette. The mimosa flight had a beautiful presentation, one that I would love to recreate. My create-your-own omelette was cooked to perfection with spinach and pepperjack cheese. The plate had a mound of really good potatoes that this carb-restrictive diet just could not allow. The omelette also came with a bread of your choice. Definitely check out this spot if you're in the area.

Yelp
After reading all the reviews and seeing the less than impressive exterior, I wasn't sure what to expect at Rail Stop. But as I had just come from Warrior Ice Arena, the location was perfect. The interior is beautiful. Gorgeous light fixtures. It's clear that a lot of thought went into the design. The space feels more elevated than the price point would have you believe. I was greeted quickly by my server, and ordered the lobster roll and an old fashioned. The toast on the roll was perfect; more than enough lobster spilled from it. I ate every last bite, never touching the fries. If you're a connoisseur of old fashioneds, lace up your skates and get here. It was well balanced, served over a single cube of ice in a crystal rocks glass, and garnished with a lovely orange rose and dark cherry. My only regret? Living 3089 miles away.

Yelp
Good sized bar / restaurant with outdoor seating. Menu has a lot of nice options. Went for brunch and was seated promptly. Waitstaff were responsive and friendly. The big problem was the food. Short rib hash and eggs was a table spoon of short ribs with some potato wedges and two over cooked eggs on top. The portion was super small and the really rough part is everything was COLD. It was not good. Other plates included crepes where the cut up fruit on top was warmer than the FREEZING COLD crepes underneath. Huevos Rancheros with COLD refried beans under soggy tortillas and overcooked eggs. In fairness the server offered to have everything redone but we had been waiting and we're not interested in waiting again. Prices are above average and was expecting something more. Will probably not come here again. If I could give the food zeros stars I would.

Yelp
Love Rail Stop! Been going here since they first opened when the area wasn't as developed and busy. They take pride in their cocktails and have a variety of fun options. Food is always very good. Can never go wrong with one of the pizzas. Great service every time. Cool and swanky ambiance without being upscale.

Yelp
The dollar oysters are an incredible deal. Most places with dollar oysters feel like you're getting the left over, tiny oysters that aren't so fresh and about to expire. This place has huge oysters. So sweet and not salty. I will be returning for this deal every week. The short rib egg rolls were also awesome. Not greasy and so flavorful. I was really impressed. I will certainly try more things here but the oysters have won me over. This hands down might be the best spot for happy hour. The only problem is how close to my gym it is. Haha.

Yelp
I enjoyed rail stop. I went here for drinks before a concert next door at roadrunner. They have a lot of bar seating which was great. It did fill up really quickly for a Tuesday evening though. I ordered the blackberry marg and the rose sangria, both were great!

Yelp
Well, ain't this the place to be! We come for after-dinner drinks and usually dinner with the people I like from the office. We lay claim to the corner of the long, long bar and entertain each other and sometimes the staff. Our friends always miss their first and sometimes second train to Worcester. If concerts are going on in one of the two venues or, god forbid, a hockey event, be patient. I have seen this place and its staff balls-to-the-walls for hours. The staff rocks and will do their best. Hey, they have dollar oysters till 6 pm during the week; these are from different sources, so enjoy. The beer selection is grand. The wine is very good. The cocktails menu is entertaining and tasty; not all just sweet syrupy stuff either; some real flavor is to be had. I have had good conversations with the crowd too. I like a good open chatty bunch of people out for dinner and a show. I need to come here for lunch. The food runs from fresh to good solid pub food to more delicately flavored fish. Still working on it, but my wife and I are starting to split things so we can taste more. Bring your own crowd. Now I am a barfly; in a sense, I like sitting at the bar, but the dining room is spacious and has a couple of different zones. You could have a nice intimate meal with the person you want to kanoodle with here too. Or just be anonymous in the sea of people when it's full. I am definitely a new fan, even though I have only kept good company here. The drinks and food will keep me coming back.

Yelp
Really great time went into Cambridge with the daughter and son-in-law and the baby to check out a shop that we like. There did a little bit of shopping walked around went to the park and stuff had a wonderful time and then tried to find a place to eat forgetting that there was some activities going on to colleges nearby and couldn't even find a parking spot at the restaurants that were recommended so we decide to drive by a little bit further from the city and find something and we ended up finding this restaurant it had outside seating. It has this beautiful, big hill that the kids could roll down on and stuff while they wait for the meals to come, everything was cooked to perfection. I had a nice apple pumpkin squash soup for lunch with a salad. It was out of this world. Everybody ate everything they got there was clean place across the board. The kids were well behaved. They had a couple of parties going on for like brunch and everything was wonderful but the best part was it was outside open air, seating and lots of parking and that was great so we would definitely do this restaurant again if we were looking for someplace offnot off the beaten path but off of everything was so busy service also was wonderful. They were right on top of things and came out. The food was ready.
google avatar

Dil S.

Yelp
Cocktails we got were ok, beer list was a bit lackluster and several drafts were out, and food was alright. Parking is tough around this spot. May give it another try at some point.
google avatar

Yelp
Remember kids, not every place will be a winner! I had gone ice skating at the rink with some friends and we wanted to go get something to eat. We decided on Railstop since it is in Brighton Landing and there aren't many other options in it apart from burgers and pizza. The inside feels very bougee but the food prices are less than what i usually see at other boston restaurants of this scale which is nice. Server was nice but eventually we had to get someone to help us despite them not being really busy. The drink I got was alright. It was fun and aesthetic but missing the alcohol and the flavor for me. We weren't impressed with the food as well.. The flavors were not there for me and so I was a little disappointed. I think this would be the place to visit if you are Brighton Landing to grab some quick food or have drinks after work but It's not somewhere you will need to go out of your way for. Price $$ Food 5 Atmosphere 8 Service 6 What i got Watermelon Cucumber Breeze Downeast Blue Slushie Margherita pizza Brioche French Toast Lobster Egg Benny

Yelp
Been a while since being back to this spot, but came with some out of town friends before a show last night. Our server was Aaron was the man and did a great job, food was on point and everything was timely

Yelp
Had great food here before a show at roadrunner. Definitely make reservations in advance as it gets crowded.

Yelp
Love this place!!! I live in the neighborhood, so this place is just ... easy. Nice and a little upscale ... but not fussy. From the atmosphere to the food ... it's all pretty great. First, the layout of this restaurant is really nice. I really appreciate how spacious it is inside. Even when crowded, you never feel cramped. They have a great party room, where I got to experience a classy retirement party. I also love the bathrooms. Weird ... but I do. Also, very spacious. The food is also pretty good. Not amazing but very consistently good. Definitely what you want for an easy, neighborhood restaurant. They have a great variety and good portion sizes. Where this place really shines is probably in its drinks. I was really impressed with the drink menu and the quality of the drinks that they serve. They have a ton of different liquors and beers, and the bartenders are all very knowledgeable in both. I also really appreciate that they serve nonalcoholic beers and cocktails. More places should as well!!! Lastly, and where I think they could improve ... is service. Very inconsistent. I've sat at both the bar and at a table several times. Sometimes service is good at the bar or at a table and sometimes very poor ... and not attentive. There's nothing worse than feeling like you have been forgotten or are annoying staff by flagging down the staff.

Yelp
Another celebration with a friend moving back to the state and we ordered quite a bit of their appetizers and entrées sections of the menu. Crab cakes weren't too bready and had sufficient crab meat and the calamari was nicely crispy without too much batter (just wished we had more of the aioli). For the entrées, the Bourbon steak tips were cooked to a pleasant smokiness and the Black Angus center cut filet was by far the star of the show with its succulent tenderness cooked between a rare to medium rare which can be seen during cutting before devouring the plate. The intensity of its tenderness was something to experience. Espresso martinis weren't too creamy or heavy so leaned towards the balanced side. Service continues to be very professional, timely and attentive. Very consistent.

Yelp
Had brunch with friends at Rail Stop Restaurant & Bar on Saturday afternoon. The only issue was the delay in getting our food, but once it was on the table, complaints stopped. Quality: Rail Stop Restaurant & Bar is a people pleasing restaurant. It has all the standards on its menu, a solid beer and cocktail list, and a large enough space that a wait would never be long. I ordered the Açaí Berry Bowl and was very happy with it. Lots of fresh fruit, the kiwi was excellent, good mix of flavor, and a fairly large portion. The rest of my party was happy with their diverse order as well. Quantity: Despite being warned that the Açaí Berry Bowl was small, I felt it was more than enough for a meal Value: $13 for the Açaí Berry Bowl. Ambiance: Rail Stop Restaurant & Bar is located in the Brighton area of Boston. It has an upscale sports bar vibe to it, almost like it wants to be a chain restaurant, but also something all its own. It is a massive space with tons of tables and a huge bar filled with televisions. Lots of modern design elements from the lighting to the tables, and pictures of trains across empty wall space. Crowd: This is a good restaurant for larger parties. Even though it was a brunch day and a fair number of people were out, it was no problem getting a big table. Service: Our waiter was very friendly, but the food was extremely slow. Even for a good sized party, the wait was too long. Parking: Plenty of scattered street parking in this complex.

Yelp
This spot was a pleasant surprise. Great pricing for the fair and neighborhood. All the food was great and the burger was huge and amazing. Great bourbon selection. Enjoyable atmosphere as well.

Yelp
Located right across the street from the Roadrunner makes this super convenient for a bite before a show. Would say food overall was tasty but nothing that blew us away. Drinks are also solid. They have lots of seating inside so easy to get seated with a large group.

Yelp
tater tots were good and the bbq tacos were surprijgly good. The perfect spot to catch a game while playing games. Very kid friendly. You can order at your table which makes it very quick. The tater tots were amazing too. The cheese on the bbq tacos were a little strong though but everything was priced fairly.

Yelp
Oscar (our server) and Charlie (the DJ from 617 group) were the BEST. Food was great and vibes were so good. The drinks are amazing, we highly recommend their new Mimosa Tree its beautiful and so fun. They are super attentive and made our friends birthday so special with a desert & special song from Charlie. The manager (Ricardo) even checked in with us to see how everything was going. Everyone was so kind and thoughtful. We highly recommend the burrata board, it was delicious. Music, food, environment, drink & service 11/10.

Yelp
Came on a Sunday for dinner and to watch the Celtics. Decor is beautiful and the bar is comfortable. Good drink selection. We had a Boulevardier which was perfect. Clear attention to detail. Menu is small. We both had burgers which were very good. Ample and properly cooked. Excellent fries. Service was attentive and accommodating. Will

Yelp
For brunch? joint, I felt this place was very fancy and needlessly upscale looking. I say brunch because as of 1:30 pm, the menu mostly pointed towards breakfast related items. Since I just finished eating at the Broken Records, I opted for the Acai Berry Bowl and Sparkling Personality. The bowl was standard fare, but I was definitely in need of something healthy. The Sparkling Personality had Cava, which is Spanish Wine (looked it up). It was quite strong, which I loved and had an alcoholic cucumber kick to it everything I took a sip. I don't remember what my friend ordered, but THAT'S what I'm coming for next time!

Yelp
Actual rating: 4.5. The first thing we noticed was how pretty this place was. It is in very close proximity to The Roadrunner so it was a logical choice. I saw mention of it's ambiance but was still impressed. We sat at the bar because only there could you get $1 oysters. The dinning area is a large room with large windows that would be nice to sit next too. The next thing we noticed was the pride they take in making drinks. My Manhattan (made with Antica vermouth - which is a high end vermouth not normally used) was stirred longer and more vigorously than other places - a slight amount of water in Manhattan is critical for taste. My wifes Cosmo was one of the best she's every had. She got two and was sufficiently primed for the Maggie Rogers show. We opted for two appetizers and two desserts instead of meals. The short rib spring rolls were surprising light and delicious. The crab cakes equally delicious. Each had a uniqueness that differentiated, and elevated it from standard, similar appetizers. I could tell the pride put into making drinks was shared by the kitchen. We then got the crème brulee and the chocolate gelato. These were very good but did not rise above what I'd expect from a restaurant of this caliper. The 5 drinks (2 were beers), 3 appetizers (including the oysters) and 2 desserts came to $117 plus the tip. The place is about an hour drive for us - and still I'd consider it as a stand alone destination. If you're going to the Roadrunner and don't consider this place as a site for preshow food and drinks, provided you don't have budgetary concerns, you should have your head examined.

Yelp
I liked this place! It was huge inside and has nice decor. Huge full bar as well. Feels like a Yard House vibe but more upscale. The food was great! I got the chicken sandwich that comes with a pickle on top & I substituted regular fries for truffle fries and they were amazing! Unfortunately, since the place is newer, the service was slow because they were very backed up and busy. Right when we were seated, our waiter let us know that the drinks from the bar were backed up because they are busy, so they might take awhile. We waited 30 minutes before we got our drinks. Our waiter noticed it had been so long and actually went behind the bar to make the drinks himself and they were great! Service was kind and sweet, but they are definitely very busy and understaffed

Yelp
Had an incredible Veuve and Groove brunch at Rail Stop Restaurant & Bar in Brighton MA today! The brunch highlighted mimosa flights with different flavored juices, and all things Veuve. We got the lobster Benedict and the ricotta pancakes, both of which were delicious. The location is gorgeous, and is located right next to the New Balance headquarters. The inside is so gorgeously decorated, and the DJ was so fun. Our waiter was so nice and knowledgeable, and we can't wait to come back to try more menu items!

David S.

Yelp
Stopped in for a burger at the bar on a Sunday at 11:30am. The service was great; bartender was friendly and professional. As the lunch crowd gradually came in, business picked up but he was still attentive. I had the Rail Stop Burger with truffle fries. Excellent! I would say 9 out of 10...not a ten because: -burger was on the rare side while I asked for med. rare, and -truffle fries were too salty. That said, the homemade bun, fresh ground beef and the homemade sweet tomato sauce were delicious. The showstopper was the truffle fries. They do not skimp on the truffle oil, and the fries were crispy and fresh. Just less salt and these would be killer fries. I do not drink alcohol but their beer and drink menu looked great. Rail Stop is an impressive place: beautifully and tastefully decorated. HIGHLY recommend.

Yelp
Consistently the WORST bar service ever. Even when it's dead and you're the only people at the bar. I've been there maybe 5-6 times now, usually in the afternoon on a weekday when it's quiet, and there's always tons of staff but they're all congregated by service bar and on their phones. Or doing everything but scanning the bar/ waiting on customers. Every time we've been there we've had to get up and walk down to service bar to ask for menus, order drinks, order food, get a second drink... My most recently was there on a Friday afternoon (my first time there on a Friday), bar was maybe a third full, the busiest I've ever seen it, and there was even a manager on as well. But good luck trying to make eye contact with staff to place an order. We and other folks around us sat with empty drinks, I had to flag someone down to order dinner and it took a few tries before they noticed. No one told us about the specials - we found out later, after they gave us the bill. Super disappointing. I keep giving it a try because I really want to like this place. It's a nice space, I like the food, and I love the $1 oysters but the bar staff/ bar management are some of the worst I've ever experienced anywhere. It's so weird - it's like they don't want to sell food and alcohol. If you want $1 oysters in Brighton, just go to Devlin's on Fridays. You'll also have no trouble getting a beer/ drink there. They'll even take your food order and ask you if you want a refill before your drink is empty. It's like a real restaurant. Imagine that.
google avatar

Judd A.

Yelp
Came to Boston for a concert that was across the street. The food was incredible, probably the best scallops I've ever had. Service was good and the atmosphere was awesome. Also bonus points for situational awareness because they were playing the band we were going to go see on their playlist for the night

Yelp
Nice job, It was delicious! Cozy atmosphere, we got a table outside and the weather didn't let up

Yelp
Just don't order food... Wife and I were at NB for a HS track meet on a Monday night and dropped in at 5:30PM to avoid the traffic and ordered - food was not good. Calamari and Shrimp apps were sub par and Cesar salad with grilled chicken was ok at best.... Drinks were good given it was bottled beer and a small cosmo...

Anthony F.

Yelp
Food was excellent for appetizers we had the arancini. These were bland however the sauce on the plate was good .Monday night appetizer was $1.00 oysters at the bar. I was not expecting much from an oyster that costs a dollar. They were from Duxbury and they were delicious week worth it. For my entree I had the steak frites. The flat iron steak which was cooked medium just as ordered. Came with a mixed green salad and homemade steak fries. The weekly special says buy one entree get one half off on Tuesday nights. However we got the oyster special so you can only choose one or the other. Good beer and drink selections. Device was great at the bar very attentive and constantly checking to see if we needed anything. Nice ambiance and very clean restaurant with a nice relaxing vibe. Will be back when I'm in the area again.

Yelp
I hate to say this. The drinks are delicious and food can be great but they service at the bar is horrible. It used to be great but within the past 6 months 3 out of 4 times either I did not get acknowledged (after getting water) for 15 minutes. 2 times my partner and I were the only people at the bar. This last time after 20 minutes and seeing the bartender give service to another couple I had to leave. I felt horrible being that person but after so long I felt disrespected. Maybe the table service would have been better.
google avatar

Somaly K.

Yelp
I've only tried their brunch and wasn't impressed with the lobster Benedict. I tried the dishes my friends got and still didn't think it was that great. Mimosas were good (how could you mess that up though). Waitress was friendly and attentive. We were 2 out of 3 guests (3rd person running late) but the waitress was patient and didn't rush us. The restaurant is big, spacious and nicely decorated. If you get lucky you'll find street parking, otherwise, I believe there is garage parking near by. If I ever try their lunch or dinner, I'll make an update.

Lucy H.

Yelp
I don't know if it was just so bad because it was before a concert and so packed or what. Took over 15 minutes to get our drinks which consisted of one alcoholic drink and one non. Pizza was burnt to a crisp and the burger has absolutely no taste. I kept asking the waiter for a refill of my water which never came finally my husband got up and poured me a refill from the water pitcher sitting on the server stand. Waiter kept pushing us out asking us if we were done yet while we were in the middle of eating. Pretty bad experience to be honest... would probably skip coming here before a show

Yelp
Weekend trip!! Stopped by this local spot for some great food. Loved the decor inside and especially their music. You can go casual or dress up for a nice meal out. Was very very pleased to looked around while eating in. Staff was masks on but not everyone. We started off with; Clam Chowder was very good, a big bowl and probably didn't need an entree after a starter and soup. Calamari was also very good. I think they season their breadcrumbs perfectly. Came with 2 different sauces under the serving. A Hollandaise and sweet chili. Jalapeño margarita was off menu, strong but the seeds of the jalapeño were a turn off. I've had this drink many times before so it was a hit or miss. I would recommend if you don't mind the seeds being in your drink All of our meals were very good. No complaints

Jeff Z.

Yelp
The steak tips and eggs! One of the best brunches I've had. The potatoes!!! it's reasonable priced for being right in the heart of Boston as well. Bar service is hot or miss but man the food is great. My friend had the rail stop burger and it was amazing as well.
google avatar

Rebecca A.

Yelp
Yummy food! Good service! Good drinks! Nice vibe! Sat at the cramped 2-person tables, barely enough room for anyone to get in and out (including server) and not a lot of room for the food on the table... but it was a big day due to event at the roadrunner so I can't be mad. 9/10 will come back! Thanks Rail Stop

Jeffrey T.

Yelp
Went for dinner to try something different. Was pleasantly surprised. Food was great. Drinks as well. Great beer on tap. Little loud but active place so as it should be. Best burger I've had in a long time. Will definitely go back.

Yelp
Great vibes, pretty good food! I stopped into this place on a Tuesday afternoon. It was early so the restaurant was empty but I still had excellent service. The food was fine. Nothing to write home about but good enough that I enjoyed it. The calamari was my favorite thing I ate. I ordered the chicken sandwich which was just pretty good. I think I'd order it again but I've definitely had better

Caroline O.

Yelp
Very good ambience, food, and service. They have great cocktails and the calamari is a must have.

Yelp
It was a $400 meal with a poor service experience. - We ordered a bottle of champagne, and the server originally gave us white wine glasses. My partner had to teach the server how to properly open champagne, the difference between glasses, and that a champagne bottle is served with a bucket and ice. Further, the server didn't offer once to refill our glasses during the 2 hour meal. - We ordered the Burrata Board with extra pita and no pita came. Additionally, the server said that the kitchen couldn't substitute the prosciutto for a vegetable option...really? He didn't even bother actually checking with the kitchen. - We ordered filet, and had to teach the server that any time steak is served a steak knife should be included too. The basics were missed big-time. For the $400 dinner, it was a very poor experience because the server was uneducated, uninformed and way too junior.

Yelp
What a hidden gem! It's so beautiful inside. Booked on a growing street of Brighton, this restaurant is a short walk away from ample parking. Additionally, the wait staff was amazing. I came here with my family for my birthday, and the food came out super quick! The staff was very knowledgeable about the menu, and they were so accommodating.

Yelp
I love this place! My partner and I came here on a quiet Wednesday night for dinner. To begin, the layout of the restaurant and the decor are absolutely beautiful. We sat at a 2 person booth overlooking the massive bar. It was so cute and cozy. We were immediately greeted by our friendly server who was great and not overbearing at all. For appetizers we tried the calamari and the firecracker shrimp. The calamari was mixed with fried cherry peppers which gave it such a delicious balance of heat. The only suggestion that I would make is to serve it with a lemon wedge. It was a bit heavy from the aioli and pepper relish, it really needed acid. However, I'd still definitely recommend it at a 9/10 rating. The firecracker shrimp were also amazing and cooked perfectly. I absolutely loved the pickeled vegetables and the ranch sauce. Highly recommend, 10/10. For dinner we split a bowl of clam chowder and steak tips. I am a fond lover of clam chowders and this one was incredible! There were so many chunks of clam and it was perfectly seasoned. Sometimes chowders can be very milky and bland, but not this one. Definitely try this!! 10/10. We chose to split the steak tips and it was the perfect amount of food for us. The steak was cooked to about medium which I appreciate because many times they're well done. We asked for mashed potatoes instead of rice and it was 100% the right move, they soaked up all of the sauce. To top it off, the veggies were cooked to perfection. There is nothing better than green beans & carrots with a slight crunch to them, 10/10. I loved this entree and recommend it, but I'm very excited to try their other dinner options! Definitely give this place a try if you're looking for something new with great food. I'll definitely be coming back to try some of their drinks too!

Yelp
I had a poor experience here, and I would have liked for it to be better because I love to support small businesses. Sadly, they did not deliver. The first time I came here back in April was fine, I really enjoyed their firecracker shrimp and the pizza was okay. Creme brûlée was great which is why I wanted to come back here. The second and last time I'd come here was under impressive. We were seated inside a big, beautiful indoor dining area, where the ambiance and environment is very comfortable and beautiful. But that's about it. I ordered a chicken sandwich which was good, but could have had a better kick. We tried their pumpkin soup which was less than impressive. We were offered a lobster roll special, and my friend decided on that but we were very displeased. The special was $15 I believe and the lobster roll had 3 bites of lobster on it, if that. I could have went anywhere else and got more lobster than here. Which was disappointing because I recommended this place to him. Finally, we paid for our meal and left the tip, but then about a half hour after leaving and driving a significant distance away, we realized the waiter never returned his card. This was at 4pm, so we called to make sure his card was there to retrieve it from the waiter who did not return it. We were told they didn't know if they had it, and if they did it was locked up in a safe until the next day. Mind you, we had left no later than a half hour prior. So we were frustrated at not knowing whether the card was there, why the card was not returned, and had a dissatisfying meal. The next day we called and it ended up being locked up, but they took a lot of time out of my schedule due to the waiters negligence. You can have a beautiful restaurant but if the food and service is mediocre, it's not a good look.

Yelp
I had the pizza and it was amazing, the crust, cheese, sauce, vegetables, everything was perfect. One of the best pizzas I have ever had in Boston! The service was just as good maybe better! The bartenders are hip to everyone and everything going on. They are a team it isn't just one person serving you. The Ambiance is very nice, open space, comfortable. There are big screens to watch the many games, outdoor seating is available. Keep it short, you can't go wrong stopping here for a bite to eat.

Yelp
Went for brunch and would definitely go again. Great friendly service. Love the decor of the restaurant; casual, but nice. Great food options and fair pricing.

Yelp
Surprisingly a really good spot to eat for very decent comfort food. Love the mushroom pizza , short rib, chicken bites, bacon wrap dates , tuna poke bowl. What's nice is this is a restaurant in the newly-developed Brighton area very ideal for people who live around the area. The service was very nice with a wonderful server called Maria. The restaurant is fairly spacious next to the hockey ice rink... I suppose that's very ideal for people who want to grab something to eat before a game.

Yelp
I've never written a review in my life but I have to advise you stay away! The service was the worst I've ever seen. Usually I have so much compassion for the restaurant industry but this place was dead and over staffed and they still needed to be waved down constantly for us to order an app, get another drink, order dinner etc.. The bartender got our drinks and a main course wrong. The food being overpriced and the space cavernous. So many other great options in the area. Pass on Rail Stop

Yelp
It was our last day after a week in the Boston area and we hadn't had any seafood so we planned to find a nice restaurant before we left. I found d this place through yelp. When we got there, we felt under dressed, but the staff didn't seem to mind. And as we sat there, more people came in dressed more casual, so we felt at ease. I really wanted to try a Lobster roll but the market price was $34 so I passed. My daughter ordered the mussels and I had the clam chowder and firecracker shrimp. WOW!! What a meal. We ended up sharing each other's stuff and everything was so delicious. The taste of the shrimp and the sauce on them were delicious. But the juice the mussels were in was amazing. What a find! We aren't usually ones to go to higher priced restaurants, but we were so happy to make this exception of our rule.

Yelp
Came here for dinner with my bf on a Friday night, the atmosphere was a classy laidback feel. Tables are far enough from each other that you don't have to yell for someone to hear you and know your conversation cannot be heard by others. I think this is a good place for dates, and catching up with friends. For drinks, I had a glass of Chardonnay and my bf ordered western cork smash (it was a bit citrus compared to the regular whiskey smash). We started with the artisan plate: prosciutto, salami, blue cheese (not a fan of blue cheese), cheddar, soft goat cheese, mustard and jam. The artisan plate was nice but would prefer a bit more meat and some more jam instead of a smear of it. For entree, my bf ordered one of the specials of the day, half rack ribs with street corn and mashed potatoes. The ribs were fall of the bone, but the flavor was ordinary. The mashed potatoes were really good, can taste the butter but not overwhelming. I didn't not try the street corn so I cannot comment on it except I thought it was nice that it is not on the cob so it's not as messy to eat. I ordered the seafood paella which my bf and I thought was really good. There were good amount of seafood. My only critique is that it was a bit wet, if they can cook it until it dried a bit more that would be better.
