Old school with an updated splash while still making it feel like a small home town still. No big casino feel and I love it that way. So does everyone else. Upgraded extremely huge TRUCK staging area which has been a beautiful assest to all the truckers including heavy haulers!

Very nice and affordable hotel. The staff were very friendly, elevators worked well, the room was super clean, and there was plenty of hot water. I booked the room online and had no issues when checking in. I will absolutely stay here again. It was super close to the highway, gas stations, fast food joints, restaurants, etc. Boulder City is 6 miles away. It is just a great location for a hotel. Highly recommend. Update: 10/24/25 I have stayed the last three weeks for work. The first week's room was really fantastic and clean and nice. The last two weeks I had not very nice rooms. Mold in the shower, paint missing in the shower, carpet not vacuumed, missing towels. I am just really disappointed because the first week's room was so nice. Unfortunately, I think I may end up staying somewhere else from now on. Boulder City looks promising.

I’ve been here many times. The showers are really clean and the truck stop and the food is delicious waitresses really like their jobs. They’re all polite very nice. The atmosphere inside is really good. There’s always friendly people here to talk to.

I was extremely disappointed with the lack of maid service during my entire five-day stay. When I informed the front desk that my room had not been serviced once, the clerk responded very rudely and asked if I had “requested” it. I had already spoken to a housekeeper one morning and asked for trash to be emptied and for basic supplies like coffee and toilet paper, but nothing was ever delivered. At no point during previous stays have I ever had to request basic housekeeping, especially something as simple as emptying trash cans that are barely larger than a paint can. I’ve stayed at this hotel several times, but this experience was by far the worst, and unfortunately, I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Our group hit this twice, once on the way in, then again on the way out of Vegas. First visit on a Wednesday early lunch. Service, food and atmosphere very comfortable. Fast turnaround time and everything was delicious. Second visit Saturday afternoon. Service and food awesome again. Where else can you get an awesome breakfast for $6 anywhere near Vegas?! Sorry, no pics, Josiah was our waiter the first day. Sorry i did not catch Saturday servers name, but also, very attentive!

Perfectly located for what we wanted. The casino is old school and smells like smoke. It was perfect though for dogs because of a little dog park and tiled hallway and rooms, which meant that everything seemed very clean.

We hit a snag at the Rio in Vegas reservation desk so we decided to get closer to home and stayed here for the night. They are very accommodating at a reasonable price. I joined the players card and got some credit to play with and being it's my birthday month I got extra credits. We were giving welcome vouchers for breakfast in the morning at there cafe. No tables here but we still had fun and our room was perfect, clean, comfortable, nice stop for us.

I must be fair: the room was extremely clean, and housekeeping deserves a \text{5-star} rating in that department. ​The Major Issues (Transparency and Service): My stay was ruined by the non-transparent policies and punitive actions by the management. ​Undisclosed \text{\$100} Deposit: Upon check-in, I was blind-sided by a mandatory \text{\$100} deposit that was NOT disclosed or mentioned anywhere on the booking website. Since I had already paid for the room, I had no choice but to pay, which was highly upsetting. ​False \text{\$250} Smoking Fee: After my departure, the hotel charged an unauthorized \text{\$250} smoking penalty to my card. They claimed cleaning staff found debris and assumed I had been smoking in the room. I was NOT smoking in the room. While I acknowledge marijuana is legal in this state, I was strictly rolling cigarettes for off-site use, and the staff wrongfully assumed smoking occurred and levied this enormous, unfair fine. ​Severe Financial Impact: This unjust \text{\$250} charge put my account in the hole and, as a direct result, I was unable to secure necessary lodging for the next night. When I attempted to discuss this with management, they refused to speak about a refund, stating they were not responsible. ​Conclusion: While the room itself was clean, the combination of undisclosed charges and an immediate, non-negotiable \text{\$250} fine based on a false assumption makes this hotel a major risk. I strongly advise travelers to avoid this property unless you are prepared for unexpected fees and poor customer service that could cause serious financial hardship.
