This was not good. At all. We came in on a Tuesday night around 6pm for a party of eight. Granted, I know bigger tables can sometimes cause an issue, but it's a Tuesday so I'd hope that some of that would be mitigated.
I ordered the "stuffed shrimp" which came with two sides. I requested a side salad as one of my sides, but noted on the menu it was a "premium side" and would cost an extra $1.99. Apparently this premium salad consists of iceberg lettuce mix, shredded carrots, chopped tomatoes, and one small black olive. No croutons, no cheese, no hard boiled egg. I'm my book that's not exactly premium....
The entrees took quite a while to come out. When they did arrive, my stuffed shrimp looked about the size of regular shrimp. My dad who ordered the same plate said "I think I got the wrong food, these don't look stuffed." The stuffing was quite sparse but had decent flavor. The shrimp itself seemed a bit tough and overcooked. My mom ordered the baked stuffed shrimp and offered me one. They were horribly over cooked and rubbery. My husband had the snapper ponchatrain and his fish was also very over cooked. My sister had the chicken tender plate which arrived with a curly hair on it, so she had to send it back for a replacement. The prices here are not cheap, we're talking close to $30 a plate with the "premium side" salad. For that price I expect a LOT more.
Our waiter was attentive and polite, I'll give him that. That's about where the good begins and ends.
The atmosphere was weird too. One waiter kept singing loudly every time he walked by. Like opera music or something??? Bizarre. It was also very noisy in general and difficult to talk to our table mates.
I would definitely NOT recommend this place.
