Raimondo's Pizza

Earlier this week, on our way home from the zoo, we discovered this friendly family-run pizza restaurant! We had a 10-slice half-bacon, half-cheese-only pizza for $10! They had coloring books and crayons for our kids! The service was quick and polite. We dined in but got a box for our leftovers, which were tasty the next day too. We will be back if we are nearby. 5/5 in the $ price range (if it was $$ 4/5, if $$$ 3/5)👍

Love this spot! Every time I have a delivery at Cargill, I make my way over to try another one of their delicious eats. The ladies here are always courteous and helpful. Today I hot the taco salad and bread sticks

Great family experience. Buffalo chicken was our favorite. Loved having a split specialty for only $1 extra. Well done kitchen!

What a magical experience! My girlfriend and I called in just before close and they were so willing to accommodate our pickup order. The chicken club pizza was heavenly and very filling! A very unique crust consistency! I'm looking forward to trying more of the menu.

Great garlic cheese bread, love the bread they use for their grinder. Pizza supreme-style was loaded with toppings! Service for us was a bit of a mess - we got our pizza first, then the grinder 20 minutes later, then our cheese bread only when we asked 15 more minutes later and learned it was forgotten.

We came in on a Friday evening. It's a small wait but not long at all. The pizza was very reasonably priced, and they had it out hot and fresh! Will definitely be back. Super friendly staff and clean quite place to come and grab a meal. Look forward to trying other items. :)

Good food, bad service. Only place to get a great taco pizza. But the blonde lady behind the counter was apparently having a bad day. I asked about a $145 pizza and the manager later clarified it was a typo. She simply told me ‘You know it’s just two of us today.’ Then as I continued to think, she walked away saying ‘I’ll give you guys time to think’ while shaking her head as she walked away. Can’t say I’ll come back for dine in.

National Pizza Day! I took advantage of the daily deal at Raimondo's on State. It's two pizzas, 14-inch with 3 regular toppings for $19.99 before tax. I built one with sausage, mushroom, and black olive. Their sausage is the small, crumbled texture, so it's spread out over the pizza better instead of just individual chunks. The other toppings were distributed pretty well and covered with cheese. The crust isn't thick and chewy. It's definitely thinner, with a little crunch. (Under picture in the photos) Plenty strong enough to hold the toppings. For the other pizza, I asked to copy a Hawaiian pizza. Easy enough since it's really just the three toppings for one of those. It did have to be on pizza sauce instead of barbecue to qualify for the price. If the sauce difference doesn't bother you, that makes this a great deal since a regular 14 inch Hawaiian is $15.49. I got here around noon and it was busy, about what you would expect for lunch time and also national Pizza day. When the line got long, a second person came up to take orders. People just flowed through the building and were able to get on their happy way. Raimondo's make a lot more things than just pizza. They have great grinder style sandwiches, quite a few pasta options with garlic bread, good size salads, along with some killer sausage rolls. They also sell a mix of side items like jalapeno poppers, garlic bread, fried mushrooms, and even cheesecake. Raimondo's does have a decent sized dining area, that is family friendly. Everyone I spoke with today was very friendly and helpful. I have never had a meal here and been upset about it. Food and service always on point. We usually get carry out. The five topping pizza is our favorite with house salad.

My son had a basketball game nearby and I did a quick search for restaurants in the area and Raimondos was only 1/2 mile away so we decided to give it a try. I've heard really good things about it from a Pizza Review FB page and now I know why! Unfortunately, we live about 45 minutes away or I would be back more often! We got a sausage pizza, white pizza, and a Stromboli. Everyone loved their food! We probably liked the sausage pizza the best as their red sauce is so good! We ate in the dining room and really enjoyed ourselves! Check this place out!

Ordered 2 pan style pizzas to go! The white pizza was surprisingly bomb. The Raimondo's special was good too but I'm definitely ordering the white pizza again. Ambiance was a little hole in the wall but felt inviting. The service was great. Employees were very friendly. If you're looking for some good pizza, recommend stopping by and getting the pan style.

Consistently great food, with excellent deals. They have pizza, pasta, salads and sandwiches, and lots of appetizers. They are one of the few sit down pizza places left in Fort Wayne, and they're a local business. Highly recommend!

Upon arrival we were greeted by a kind young lady who provided very helpful recommendations and a true spirit of service. We ordered the Garlic Cheese Bread and Raimondo's Specialty pizza. Both were served promptly, hot, and absolutely delicious. If I lived in Fort Wayne this would easily be a go-to for pizza night. Thank you for an enjoyable and delicious meal!

Raimondo's special is the best. Garlic cheese bread is good breadsticks are meh. Usually get carry out.

This was my first dine in experience. Raimondo's is located I a small strip mall. There is plenty of parking, easy access and decent signage. Upon arrival you need to order at the counter and find a table. This is a little confusing as there is no sign to tell you to order at the counter first. An employee has to monitor the door from the kitchen and catch you. They will give you a drink cup for self service. The lobby and dinning room are pretty plain, clean and in good repair. The decor is very simple as is the whole dinning experience. This really isn't a problem unless you are expecting something more. The main draw here is the food! We started with some breadsticks. They were soft, warm and slightly coated with a butter-garlic sauce. The bread is pretty plain...no significant defining taste (sweet or otherwise). The marinara sauce was thin and lacked a defining taste also. I suspect that it's the same sauce that they use on the pizza. I would prefer a stand alone sauce that really enhances the breadstick. We ordered a Raimondo's Special pizza. The pizza was PILED high with toppings! All of which were excellent!! The crust was fairly plain like the breadsticks. It was soft to crunch even on the edges where the crust looked over cooked. The bottom of the pizza has a darker baked appearance but it was not burnt or hard. The pizza sauce was hidden by all the toppings. It really didn't add or subtract to the taste. Overall...very good pizza at a pretty good price! Give them a try for dine in or carry out!

Moved to Ft Wayne and this gem of a place is minutes away! I really want to try their other pizzas, just can't stop ordering the special!

Great pizza! We ordered three different pizzas and all were very good. One was six meats, other was chicken cordon blue and the last one was a special order with 5 toppings.

The pizza delivery and food quality is excellent!We typically order delivery but several times I've eaten in and that experience was also very enjoyable. I don't even try anywhere else in town when it comes to pizza!

This place is the best kept secret in town. Sorry to say, the secret is out! Everything about this place is great, from the owner and staff to the mouthwatering pizza. They load the pizza with a ton of toppings and the crust is perfect. It was really cool to see the family supporting one another and you can tell this place is treasured by everyone who goes there. If you're in the area and looking for good pizza I highly recommend this place!

Great place for gluten free food. Food was great and service was great. Definitely give it a try if you're in the area!

Called ahead to ask about glutton free options. I was told there were several items. We got there and went to order and was told they don't do glutton free! Don't believe the reviews! Won't be back.

I particular like Cindy's Salad. Not as good as Casa used to be but IMO, it is now. The garlic bread is crunchy and spiced just right

This place has the best pizza. Great specials. Never skimp on the toppings that you order. It's a very clean, and its casual if you want to eat in - we usually take ours home. It's not the closest place to our house for pizza but it is the best one. We call in the order and by the time we get there it is ready. They are usually busy.

This is my favorite pie in Fort Wayne! They have an amazing cheese pizza, but my personal favorite is the chicken cordon blue! Talk about an explosion of flavor! The service is always nice and friendly. Plenty of room to bring the friends and family for indoor dining!

My review is strictly based off experience, not food wise. I wasn't even able to order, I called a total of 9 times, and got a busy tone. Finally got through and was instantly put on hold for about 20 mins. Hung up and called right back. Same thing. After trying to go into the place. I stood at the counter for about 10 mins. Saying HELLO. And getting crappy looks. Have never eaten here and was excited. But, I will definitely not be trying their food.

I had high hopes for this place but unfortunately it was just another disappointing pizza place here in the fort. We ordered a pepperoni pizza and it was awful! It barely had any taste to it and it was dry. I would compare it to Little Caesars pizza, which is not a good thing.

Great place. Super friendly, nice and clean. The pizza was very good, I was expecting a thicker pan crust but it was a really good crust. The cookies are pretty solid too!

First of all the employees are Great! They are super nice and helpful. The food is amazing and we have tried lots of thing on the menu. From the spaghetti to the sausage rolls our family loves Raimondos!

Not bad but not good. For one of the highest rated pizza restaurants in Fort Wayne, I had high hopes for this place. The crust was decent, but other than that the pizza lacked a wow factor. I would not choose this place over a chain pizza place. We ordered the Six Meats-Hand Tossed pizza.

I went to this restaurant for an early supper. Ordered a sausage roll no changes to how it's made. When I ordered I decided to stay at the restaurant and eat it there. Ordered and sat down to wait with my drink. The waiting area wasn't dirty, but it wasn't clean either. I could see footprints on the floor seemed like it needed to be mopped better. Tables were clean. The food came. It didn't really look the best. It was cut in two and placed on a plate. The plate wasn't dirty... but it didn't seem clean either? Maybe it was the environment of the restaurant. Anyway I tried the food. It didn't really taste that good. The sausage had a strange texture and didn't taste right. I ate about half. I got up to talk to someone at the counter. There was nobody there. So I refilled my to go cup and left. I won't return. I won't recommend the place to anyone either.

Bomb diggity taco pizza and that pepperoni sausage roll. Whew! It's totally worth the 20 minutes drive from my house. The worst part of this place is that we ate it too fast. Thanks Raimondo's! We'll be back for sure!

Probably the BEST pizza I've had in recent history!! (And I have a wood burning pizza oven at home!) unique and innovative combinations of toppings and they're quality conscious as well as generous! Try the taco pizza, it's a pleaser! And the staff are wonderful even when they're busy!

Saw this place by the tower and just wanted to give it a try. The order taker was very helpful, even suggesting a cheaper option on special with one less topping than a deluxe one I was considering. The crust is thin, and it is nice and crispy when you eat-in fresh out of the oven. Fast to cook- just a 10 minutes wait when there isn't a line ahead of you. Piled thick with cheese and toppings. The meats, sauce, and cheese leaned toward the salty side for me on the whole.

Had 2 mediums pizza and a grinder for less than $25. All were hot and very good even when I got home.

Very good pizza for the money I had there deluxe pizza and it was delicious I recommend this pizza if you can't afford Oleys.

We love this place. Generous toppings, doesn't skimp on the cheese, and gets our orders correct! Picked this for a birthday, and it was a huge hit. Tried it at least 5 times now, and all 5 times were excellent.

They delivered fast & speedy, pizza was hot and tasty!! Took time with taking my order & also made sure order was correct before ending call. Prices are affordable.

Falsely advertised Large 1-Topping $7.79 Carryout Special on their website. Picked up my pizza and I was charged $8.89 + an extra $2.50 for the 1 topping (chicken) making the total $12.30. The person on the phone was rude and acted annoyed when I was ordering. In fact, I called twice and the phone was briefly answered then hung up, as if they purposely were avoiding fielding phone calls. Customer service was poor, food was decent. Been a customer there for years and have never had such an issue. Hard to find good help these days

OMG. In Fort Wayne and wanted some kick ass pizza. Well I found it. This pizza is sooo amazing and so good. I just couldn't stop eating this pizza and am now way too full. However it was worth it. Hands down THE best pizza in Indiana.

We carried out from Raimondo's last night and I'm still amazed at how yummy everything was. I ordered a taco pizza which was one of the best taco pizzas I've ever had. The garlic bread with cheese had the perfect amount of cheese and the perfect amount of crisp. It wasn't soggy like many other places tends to be when you carry out. The grinder was really good. I would order it with light sauce, but that's more my personal preference. I also ordered a chicken club which didn't disappoint. I'll definitely be visiting this place again in the near future. I can't wait to try one of their salads! They looked huge and fresh. Enjoy!

The pizza is good when you can actually place an order. The last THREE occasions Iv'e tried calling (and I called like 5-7 times in each instance) to place an order, the phone is always busy. Got through once only to hear what sounded like an employee training another employee on how to take phone orders however, they never once acknowledged there was anyone on the phone! Seems like they may be deliberately not answering the phone for some reason. Guess they don't want any business ‍

Raimondos is our favorite pizza in Fort Wayne, Indiana...just delicious...and yes well made so it lasts. Salad is good too. Also their garlic cheese poppers are fantastic. Steve C

I love the pizza from here. It is my go to spot. The pizza I think I freshly made and it's also good the next morning.

Locals seem to love this joint, but I'm still trying to understand why. The pizza is really greasy and leaves me spending the next few hours running to the bathroom. I haven't tried anything else on their menu except for the salads, which I will say those are good. Just not a fan of their pizza.

Great little pizza spot! I just moved to the neighborhood and this was my first time here and I called in for carry out. The girl on the phone couldn't have been nicer and when I went to pick up the pizza the two guys who helped me were just as friendly. The one guy said he hoped to see me back and he definitely will! The prices were very reasonable and the crust on the pan style pizza was very good! Really chewy and had a wonderful taste!! They should make breadsticks out of that dough!!!! I would buy a ton of them :) thanks for making my first visit wonderful. I look forward to many more.

Had a rough start with one of their new employees but the owner made everything right, and the pizza was delicious!

I have been a long time customer however that ended yesterday. I ordered two chicken club sandwiches when I received them there was barley any chicken on the sandwiches. I called immediately i was very pleasant explained the situation. Woman who answered was nice but told me she'd have someone call me...never happened. I know my business means nothing I get it. But it'll be along time if any before I call again

Raimondo's certainly was much better than I expected. It's the day after Thanksgiving and my boys aren't leftover fans. After a day of shopping, this hot, tasty, takeout pizza was just what we needed. Location: nothing fancy but there is a family dine in section located adjacent to the take out counter. It was clean, again nothing fancy. Pizza: we opted for a pepperoni and an everything. Both were excellent. The pepperoni was smothered in cheese with the just the right amount of spice and sauce. The everything loved up to its name. It truly has every topping available. I was pleasantly surprised to see old school style sausage included. It had such great flavor. All the different toppings married together for each bite. The crust is thin with a thick piece at the edge, it's tasty and made well. If I had one request, it would be to add an additional minute to baking to firm up the bottom of the slice. I'd visit here again without hesitation. I gave 4 stars because it's pizza, it's pretty hard to mess that up, you've got to try to make a bad one.

We were visiting Ft. Wayne for a weekend getaway and the kids wanted pizza. We ordered for take-out from Raimondo's after checking Yelp reviews of many other local pizza places. Our pizzas and food were ready on time with zero extra wait. Location was easy to find and staff was very friendly. Best part is that the kids loved the pizza and there were many choices. Ordered cheese, pepperoni, and their special, all got rave reviews from everyone.

Pretty good Pizza joint, good pasta's, spaghetti with meatballs, pizza is good, sausage roll isn't bad. They have a pretty mean sub sandwich up in this shop also! Place been around for a hot one and they will be around for another hot one. They do a good business here and always rushing out the door to get it's food off to it's customers, speedy as they can get....Within the law or close to it. They might show up late your food might be cold and soggy, but hey nice to not get off ones ass and go get it themselves right? Give the driver a tip anyway. You're just so happy to get your food you want to tip. Thank you Sir! Food is pretty good up in here you can't go wrong with the Pizza, it's kind of plain and bland, but it's good and digest nicely compared to Pizza Hut and Domino's, yuck. Raimondo's will take care of you, forget them big chain jokers, rot gut and the poops is all they give. At least Raimondo's does it's crust in house, sauce, and decent toppings. More homemade without all the bad stuff in it like Pizza Hut, Papa John's and Domino's. Rot you out. I support local pizza parlors and this is one of them out of quite a few I support. Support your local guys they will deliver you some cleaner, better for you pie, something you can digest and don't gotta go poops 10 minutes later nor does it clog you up with a trapped torpedo inside. More homemade and crust is made in house and quality ingredients overall. What's not to like I ask?

This place was recommended to us by many folks in the 2GoFW Facebook group, and boy, do we understand why. We ordered pepperoni and a chicken club pizzas. At first, I thought they had made a mistake because one of the pizza smelled like a taco pizza. I opened it and discovered that they put lettuce on the chicken club pizza! Totally unexpected but totally delicious. It's now a family favorite.
