⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Rainbow Lodge is a hidden gem! It’s an older, converted building with quirky charm, but it’s incredibly clean, quiet, and cozy. We had a full kitchen, comfy bed, cold A/C (we needed blankets in July!), and thoughtful touches like extra outlets, great lighting, and a place to set our bags. Housekeeping came by daily for trash and fresh towels—super respectful. The public pool was a huge bonus, and over the 4th of July, the owners even did a small, kid-friendly firework display that ended early—no noise, no parties, just peaceful fun. The owner and his family are wonderful—polite, welcoming, and clearly take pride in this place. We felt safe, comfortable, and right at home. Highly recommend!

This is the second time our family has stayed here. We love it! They have a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom adjoining suite that perfectly accommodates our 6 children & 2 dogs. The pool is great too & we love the breakfast & seating area. It is family owned & they take great care with the whole facility!

Google
I stumbled upon this lodge while driving through Manitou! It’s different from the other chain hotels I’ve been to. This place is family owned, and it honestly feels like home. Feels like a loving family. My room is very nice as well. Fast internet! VERY hot water! The setup here is really cute. I’m glad I chose to stay here!

Google
Quaint and charming. Amazing location - right between historic manitou springs and old Colorado city, right off Colorado ave. Family owned, clean and well kept with covered patio and good parking and quiet. Accommodating for my dog but not much grass space.

Stopped here for the night with my Yorkipoo on our cross-country drive back to Arizona. Room was cute and well-equipped with a comfy bed. Felt very safe as a solo female traveler. Highly recommend!

Google
Positive: The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. My room was a little dated but very comfortable and clean and I felt safe. The location was near perfect for the activities I had planned for this trip. Negative: ""

Great beds and nice bathroom. Good location with trees, out of the busy areas.

Yelp
We had the best time staying here! Pool was great, pool was great, chatting with the owners over morning coffee was.... also great! Affordable, close to all the touristy stuff, def will go back!

Yelp
While I feel there is deferred maintenance, and am disappointed about the broken window I am still giving this place 4 stars for the cleanliness and atmosphere. Cons: - none of my communications through Booking.com were awnsered so I had to call and confirm I could bring my dog. - the window in the bathroom was broken (frame was apart and glass was just sitting there). I spoke to the gentleman at the desk about this after checking in and he said they were aware and have been unable to get a person out to replace it. Room 140. - only one room key - one out of the two queen beds had a terrible sag and was very uncomfortable. - terrible finishing skills on tile and trim work. Definitely not done by a professional or even someone knowledgeable. - no alarm clock or radio - freezer door broken so it froze all of our fridge goods. - no extra towels given for 4 guests Now all of the good stuff: - Clean!!! - comfortable pillows and 1/2 beds - good atmosphere - fridge/microwave - Wi-Fi and cable - huge tub - large pool, heated but still frigid. - plenty of outside seating - walking distance to shops and food

Yelp
Super clean rooms. Updated bathroom The bed sheets smell like Gain laundry detergent. We stayed 2 night. Bed was so comfortable we slept past noon our first day. Drove up Pikes Peak and it was worth it. It's mighty cold up there, bring winter wear. Cute town but very touristy.

Yelp
I was a bit skeptical at first, because the outside wasn't exactly what I was expecting. However, I was very pleasantly surprised by the room! It was very clean, had comfortable beds, and was very reasonably priced. The fridge and microwave worked well, and there was plenty of hot water. (We have a family of 5). Would definitely stay here again!!

Yelp
This is a review for a 2-night stay at the Rainbow Lodge Motel while visiting the Colorado Springs area. Check-in was a breeze and the guy working was super friendly and even let me pet his yorkie. What an adorable little thing! The parking lot is a little tight so be careful getting in and out so you don't get hit or hit someone accidentally. The room was satisfactory for the price tag and was clean enough. It had a small refrigerator and microwave, a full body mirror, a lamp on each side of the bed, an adorable desk with a lamp, a plastic bouquet and a chair. Bathroom was found clean and well-maintained. Continental breakfast is free and consisted of some mini muffins, danishes, fruits, cereal, tea, coffee and orange juice. There are plenty of brochures for activities in the area and other information if you haven't done your research ahead of time. Overall, the place is fine and is located very close to the Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak. So why the 3 stars? Well, read on... There are a few details during our stay that were a tad bit disturbing and the reasons why I can't give this place a 4 or a 5-star rating: 1) The shower. The shower head was down way too low so if you're over 5'5 you might have an issue and will have to bend down to wash your hair. I don't have that problem but I can see it being an issue for someone taller than myself. The water did not stay at a constant temperature. It kept going from too hot to the temperature I set it to before getting into the tub. It was very annoying. Also, there was a bit of mold traces at the bottom of the shower curtain. 2) The bed. It was a king and was fine until I poked my leg with something (did not draw blood, it was more like a small painful prick on the skin surface). Further investigation led to the finding of a bent sewing pin, the kind they use to mark the spot during alterations. How did that get in there? 3) Toilet is way too low. Maybe I just have a taller toilet at home but this one is way down low so be careful. 4) Water pressure is funky perhaps? The sink will shoot out water all over you. Whatever the case is, there's something odd with the plumbing. I think in the end, I am actually being very fair and nice rating this place a 3-star.

Yelp
Stayed in the off-season. Room was clean and spacious. Staff were accommodating when we had to reschedule our stay due to weather. Perfect location for traveling with dogs-- near a nice path along Fountain Creek, near Garden of the Gods, tons of restaurants. Only challenge was owner was hard to get ahold of to make changes and to check out, but again-- it was off-season and the place is independently (family?) owned so it's something to know but clearly not a deal breaker.

Yelp
Vintage property with a lovely pool and great location! We stayed in the two bedroom cottage and had a nice deck with stairs that led to the pool. The owner/operators were very accommodating. We would definitely stay here again...bargain!

Brittany S.

Yelp
Thank you Yelp for confirming that Rainbow Motel would be a winner before we arrived for our stay (which, I must add, is located only a mile up the road from Garden of the Gods!). Key "love" factors of this adorable Western roadside motel: updated rooms (impressive and cozy decor), kitchenettes, granite counter tops, friendly and helpful owners, complimentary breakfast (cereals, yogurt, fruit - try the buttery crescent rolls), outdoor pool in the front of the property, safe and peaceful vibe and AWESOME prices ($72 - $92). I enjoyed this place so much that I just booked it again for a trip later this summer!

Sabine M.

Yelp
I am giving 5 stars because I have no reason to deduct for anything. The room was cozy and recently remodeled. It was clean and quiet. And a great value for the money. They even have a free breakfast. It's all carbs, but hey - it's free! And the location?!! Can't be beat! Close to Garden of the Gods and DT Manatou springs.

Bjorn F.

Yelp
We loooved our stay here! I don't often rave about about a motel (I mean how often is a motel more than just OK?) but the Rainbow Motel really surprised us. We stayed during the first week of September when the lovely pool was open and the weather was perfect. We had it so nice here that we actually stayed a second night. For $55 they gave us a queen room that was decorated so nicely, very clean, and has the most comfortable bed and linens I've ever experienced in a motel. Very high thread count linens, which made our sleep so soft and luxurious. Our room also had one of the coolest shower stalls I've ever seen at a motel/hotel - slick black tiles and an enclosed space that makes you feel so comfortable. It accommodates two people very well.... The motel has benches and chairs scattered around everywhere, so you have plenty of areas to sit and lounge at. Try to get one of the rooms by the pool, which have little decks with chairs and a table. We had a great time sitting there in the evening sipping beer and reading our paperbacks. The one thing that they definitely need to work at is the "free high speed internet". We could hardly connect and when we did, it was too slow to use. They either need to fix this, install a couple more routers around the area, or remove the large "HIGH SPEED INTERNET" sign in the yard. Other than that, thank you Rainbow Motel for a wonderful stay!

Yelp
This place is nestled along the hills and is adorable. It is as clean as a place could possibly be, the bed was like sleeping on a cloud, super cold water from the tap ( a huge plus for me), great rates and good hospitality! We were even greeted by a teeny tiny puppy when we signed in! The location is stellar and it while it was super close to a lot of stuff it was EXTREMELY quiet. I slept like a rock. A happy snuggly rock. We had dinner a mere 5 minutes away at The Dive, which I also highly recommend and were so comfortable with our entire getaway, we may just relocate here once we are empty nesters! All said it's a great place to stay while visiting a splendid spot!

Luis R.

Yelp
Rooms were alright.kind of comfortable beds. Older motel. Pool was closed. construction was horrible when I went. Breakfast was pretty lame. Customer service was good

Yelp
Dude ... stay at the rainbow motel ... it rocks ! I'll admit driving by you might say ... " this place is sketch " I reserved a room on yelp after reading previous reviews. We reserved the " King with kitchen " room and the guy actually held it for us ... which is rare these days. I put in special notes for him to hand write a list of cool things to do and not leave some crappy pamphlet like all hotels do. As soon as I picked up the key he said " OH I ALMOST FORGOT " and gave me the list ! He was this german dude and he was super super nice. The room was really nice and like I said you wouldnt know it from looking outside. Nice bed, clean hardwood and spacious. Very cheap too i think i paid like 60 or 70. I ended up staying another night i liked it so much ! Only con is the wi-fi kind of stunk but ... hey for what a great deal we got I can't complain. I'll always come back here when I visit the springs.

Yelp
On our summer road trip, we decided we would stay for the night in Colorado Springs at about 8pm, consulted yelp and found this precious little inn. I gave them a call and even though they were closing at 10pm and we wouldn't arrive until midnight, they got everything worked out for us over the phone and let me know where to find our room key when we arrived - excellent service! When we got there, the key was where we were instructed to look. We found our room easily, which we discovered had a cute little patio with a bench and some chairs out front. We were very pleased with the inside as well. The room was spacious, especially for being a single King room with a closet, dresser with tv, two night stands, desk, two chairs, and micro/fridge combination. The bathroom was much better than most hotels as well and the same goes for the bed which was super comfortable. The next morning, I checked out the inn's continental breakfast and was happily pleased. It has a good variety of cereals, fruits, and breads along with coffee, juice, and cappuccino (which was awesome for a non-coffee drinker!). Our check out was just as easy as the reservations the night before. As we left, we realized how close the inn was to all of the adventurous things we wanted to do in Colorado Springs. It is within miles of Garden of the Gods, Manitou Springs, and Pikes Peak. For the price, which was very reasonable, we left knowing we had found a steal of a deal. Yelp led us in the right direction and we will recommend this inn to others and probably be back to stay for a longer period of time.

Michael D.

Yelp
This is hands down the most Awesome place to stay!! We had the best time a booked the bigger room for our Birthday celebration and has the best time! Thank you to the wonderful and friendly staff at the Rainbow Lodge Inn, close to everything and amazing views!

Rhonda K.

Yelp
The good: owners are friendly, except when the lady came in while guests were eating breakfast & said in a loid voice "who made this mess and didnt clean it up? Thats not nice, you should clean up your mess." She was talking to the guests. Other than that they were friendly. They put my large family in two connecting rooms that were very large. That was nice. The bad: phones in rooms are very old and ours said "holiday inn", called the number on the phone to see if it connected to our room and it called "ramada inn"- I was so confused. So I called the front desk and the hotel phone kept cutting out because of the old cord. Had to jiggle it around in order to hear. Terrible wifi. Terrible!!! Toilet came off the ground when you lean on it. Doors are horrible to open. The only reason it gets two stars is how close it is to the attractions, friendly owner, and spacious rooms. (But they need a lot of updating) and the view of pikes peak is beautiful.

Joy L.

Yelp
This place is affordable, simple and ran by a really sweet family. Rooms are equipped with a kitchen so you can pack lunches and sandwhiches for your daily hikes. Also great for saving money on vacation (you can cook your own meals or eat leftovers).the entire kitchen is stocked with utensils pots,a toaster, knives etc...even salt...pretty much everything you'd need. The motel is 3 minutes from Safeway and Walgreens and right in the heart of all of the great CO attractions (Garden of the Gods, Red Rock Canyon,Manitou Springs, downtown CO Springs etc). There are other cheaper places to stay near by but they dont look as clean or have as many immenities. At the rainbow motel there is a grill outside, swimming pool, free continental breakfast,a patio in front of every room and a garage to park ypur car right next to your room. Pretty much a great buy for all that you are getting. If you like simplicity and are coming to CO for the beauty and attractions and not trying to spend a ton of money...this is the spot for you.

Yelp
We love staying here, Eric and his Wife are very nice people, they always make our stay here very pleasant. The rooms are lovely and comfortable, some have little kitchens in them as well, and kept especially clean. We just spent Memorial Day Weekend here, the pool was open which was great!!! Loved sitting by the pool with Friends and grilling out on the deck, good times. Breakfast is served in the dinning room, you can crab, a Danish and coffee, or some cereal and fruit for the kids, they have juice as well. I always crab a Coffee and Danish before heading out to Down Town Manitou for a nice scenery walk and a bit to eat...we'll be back here in August, can't wait.

Nick G.

Yelp
Friendly people and comfortable room but there was no hot water in the morning (I left the faucet on for almost 20min) and the heater/ac unit was too loud for me to sleep with so it was a very cold stay

Suzy W.

Yelp
I loved staying here. The owner is super nice and helpful. I love the feel of the place. It's so cozy and there are actual keys for the rooms. There is a little bit of construction on the road, but I didn't hear it at all. The room was very quiet. I would definitely stay here again. It might appear to be a little outdated, but I thought it was great. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. It's a lot better than those chain motels. There is even a laundromat on site.

Yelp
This last weekend I had booked a room for 2 nights (Friday and Saturday) as my Husband and I were taking our very first trip alone and it was to serve as our honeymoon. We were originally happy to find a room for such a great price in the area and to have good reviews backing it. That was all turned around and the honeymoon was ruined. I booked the room on booking.com with a card that was nearly maxed from the wedding a week prior. I decided to book the room anyway because I would be paying cash at arrival. Booking.com stated in 3 places during the transaction "No payment needed today. You'll pay during your stay.", "PAY LATER" and "Reserve now, Pay later." On Friday after work, I drove my 5 year old to Denver (a 2 hr. trip) and then back to Old Colorado City to check into the motel (about an hour trip) this put us at the motel just before 8pm MST. The owner came out and explained to me that he had given away our booking at 6pm and that there were no rooms at the Motel. I was initially in denial. I explained to him what the website said and that 8 pm is not an extremely late check in. He then told me that he ran my credit card for the 2 nights at 10 am and that the card declined?!? I again mentioned what the website stated "No payment needed today. You'll pay during your stay.", "PAY LATER" and "Reserve now, Pay later." The owner then told me that he sent an email at 10 am that I never got.... HMM? I also NEVER received any calls. I was so devastated about our honeymoon that I just gave up arguing and left in tears. There were no other accommodations that night anywhere within a 20 mile radius so we just decided to go home.... The next morning I decided to call the Rainbow again and they told me that they had a room for Saturday that we could have. I decided that we could try and salvage what was left of the honeymoon and took the room. I spoke with the owner's wife; she stated that she would recommend that we never use booking.com again. I explained to her again what the website stated and she said it was incorrect. I asked why they did not call to tell me that they ran my card at 10 am. Her response was that she "is trying to run a business and does not have time to make phone calls. This just pissed me off even more. If they are going to partner with a website like this, it is the motels responsibility to make sure that the site has the correct information and that if it is incorrect they need to notify the customers. Not treat them like crap and deny their role. When we finally got to our room it was nice for a motel and the bed was comfortable (the only reason they get 2 stars). They did not tell us about the breakfast at check in so we assumed they did not have one. You get 2 towels in the restroom that are so tiny that you cannot even wrap yourself in them and the shower was more of a mist instead of a shower. They also refused to discuss the situation further. These people are RUDE LIARS.. At the very least they could have said sorry instead of acting like pompous you know whats.

Rich L.

Yelp
CLEAN. Stayed here one week during race week. Family owned! Nice friendly staff. Very CLEAN. Poor wifi though. Breakfast adequate. But be sure to eat at MO'S DINER it's great breakfast.

Joanna B.

Yelp
I'll admit, I am a bit of a hotel snob. Working at hotels for years has shown me things that I would rather not admit. So when it came to picking a hotel for the night of and we were on a tight budget I got really squirmy. But this place put me at total ease! When we rolled in the owner met us and gave us our room key. He was so friendly and had some great advice about things to see in the area. He gave us a room to one of their remodeled rooms. We were so plesantly supposed when we walked in. Everything was brand new and clean. We had a kitchen and a very spacious bathroom. Out of all of the little motels in that area I definately think we hit the jackpot with the Rainbow Motel!

Kathi B.

Yelp
Clean, quaint, and retro. The rooms are roomy and comfortable. The pool was cool and inviting... the kids love it. It is our go-to summer hotel for weekend getaways.

Mark M.

Yelp
We stayed here for a week and loved it. Refrigerators and microwaves in the room. Beds and pillows were really comfortable and the location is absolutely the best. We were 5 to 10 minutes away from almost everything we wanted to do. You are about five minutes away from Manitou Springs which is a very cool small city and the same for old Colorado city which is just the other direction. And almost across the street from Garden of the Gods. The family that owns this place is extremely nice and very friendly. We felt it was our home away from home the entire stay.

Dana R.

Yelp
This is the best place we have stayed on our whole trip. Owners are great, there is a family feel here, rooms r clean and charming with wood floors! Beds are super comfortable. We will be back next summer. By the way, it is within minutes of everything we wanted to do. Free breakfast all for only $80 peak season!

SydneyLee T.

Yelp
Please don't stay at this motel unless you want problems and you want your stuff ruined. We drove all the way here through a blizzard because they refused to let us cancel. When we got here the executive suite that we paid for was "unfortunately under construction and the roof was made incorrectly" so we couldn't stay in it. They moved us to anyone room and told us we'd only be charged the price of the new room for one night but we could stay two. That didn't happen. They charged us for both nights. Then, the owner Eric admitted to running over my emerald earring and said it was my fault for leaving it on the floor and not putting up the do not disturb sign. They don't care about people they only want their money and they have no regard for your belongings. Trust me I didn't leave on earring on the side table and one on the floor. He even explained to me how and where he ran it over. I'm just ranting I know I sound like a fool but I'm pissed. They have given us nothing but grief here so just save yourself and go elsewhere.

Tam R.

Yelp
We stayed in a cottage last week for family vacation. Four adults, 1 teen, and 2 babies and the cottage fit us perfectly. The rooms were clean and spacious. Beds were clean and the floor like like it was new. Perfect place to stay with a big family. We had two entries and one was to the pool. The pool was exceptionally clean and my family had a lot of fun swimming. Breakfast was good but would like to see something hot. Waffles or bagles to put in the toaster would've been great. The owners for the most part seemed friendly. I liked that the place was close to the attractions we were going to see. Was not impressed with the wiffi. The owner gave us the password but we couldn't get it to work.

Teresa M.

Yelp
Stayed one night on our way through. Family of 5..... we had adjoining rooms with plenty of space for everyone. Clean. Very nice Polish couple that owns and operates. Would stay again. Did not eat the continental breakfast as we drive to Bon Tons for our meal and then on to the Garden of the Gods. She charged us $135 for the two rooms.....better than a chain motel. Warning.....if you sit outside at any of the patio sets watch out for the "friendly" squirrel. Enjoy!

Mitzi L.

Yelp
Reality check: What it is and what it isn't..... What it is: This motel is a small mom and pop motel. It's rooms were spacious and clean with comfortable beds, linens and pillows. Our room had a microwave and small fridge. The amenities include a modest, complimentary breakfast, a common outdoor grilling area, and an outdoor pool. The owner was very nice and I for one prefer giving my business to the small business owners than the big corporate chains when I can. What it isn't: It is not the Ritz Carlton. Although it may have a nearly five star rating on yelp, it is not a five star hotel. If you expect it to be, you will be disappointed. The structure is older and not very updated on the inside (pink and blue bathroom tile) worn base boards etc. But it has been maintained (fresh paint, new carpet etc) and like I said above, it is clean and comfortable. If you prefer upscale resorts or the uniformity of the chain hotels, then this isn't the place for you. But if you don't mind a little wear and tear around the edges, this motel is a great find and only a fraction of the price of other establishments nearby.

Kelli P.

Yelp
Pretty decent place. Clean rooms. always had clean towels. Close to everything.free beakfast. Would stay again

Katie F.

Yelp
I stayed here for a week in September 2009. It wasn't the greatest place to stay at, but there were no problems with bedbugs, etc. in the room. I'm not sure of the others but my room was close enough to a creek to hear it with the window open. Really nice while taking a shower. The bathroom was small but the tub/shower was spacious, as was the room and bed. There was plenty of storage space with a big closet, dresser/TV stand combo, along with a desk and table to sit at. There was a patio outside the room that was nice to sit on. There was a free continental breakfast of bagels, milk and juice but the bagels were stale and the beverages were lukewarm and a little watered down tasting. The only incident during the stay, and it was a big one, was the property/front desk manager mistakenly gave the keys to our room to someone else while we were staying there, instead of the keys for the proper room. We were getting dressed to go out and heard the door start to open, then a strange couple walks in with their luggage in hand and were as startled as we were. If you are looking for a low budget but still decent place to stay, this would fit your needs. I'd suggest it more for that or for family reunions as it is an older motel so is well suited for community stays, and there is a swimming pool on site. The decor is tacky but inside and outside were clean.I would not stay there again because of my above incident but if that hadn't happened, I wouldn't mind it too much. For a building of that age, it had been well maintained for the most part; I didn't notice a problem with the door as the above poster mentioned, but sometimes we had hot water and sometimes we didn't. However, it is close enough to the shopping and dining in Manitou Springs to be able to walk there once you've acclimated to the thinner air and the altitude. (If not, then you can pay $5ish per car for all day parking in a nice sized parking lot in the shopping area.) It's also nearly next door to the Amanda's Fonda Mexican restaurant: good food, but a bit pricey. The Academy Riding stables is within walking distance as well, if your stay is including a horseback ride.

Yelp
Friendly staff, complimentary continental breakfast, and great location for everything my family wanted to do: Pike's Peak, Incline, Garden of the Gods, Cliff Dwellings, it's all right there! We had 7 people: 2 nine-year-olds, three siblings in their 30's and 40's, and our parents who are around 70. I booked us the Executive suite(sleeps 8) for $175 per night. A heck of a deal! It's not new, but it's clean and roomy! Mom and dad had a king size bed in one room, brother slept on the queen-size pull out sofa in the living room, sister and I each took a double bed in the other bedroom and the room was so big both of her kids slept on blow up mattresses at the foot of each of our beds! Lots of closet and dresser space, a full kitchen, and a little private patio(we were on the 2nd floor above the office) where we sat and read or chatted, with a gorgeous mountain view to enjoy. 2 bathrooms, attached to each bedroom. 3 TVs- one in each bedroom and one in the living room. The living room was also huge and we had plenty of space in the suite for everyone to stretch out, play some games, watch TV, have a snack, or sleep without bothering other people, but we all spent a lot of time together and it was a lot of fun! The kids enjoyed the pool almost every day we were there, and there were lots of good restaurants close by. Thanks to the complimentary breakfasts and bringing some food from home to stock the kitchen, we also saved money by only eating out for dinner. The only downside was the terrible wifi connection, as many others have already commented on. If we come back to the Springs, I know we will stay here again!!

Lisa L.

Yelp
I reserved a room based upon previous Yelp reviews. We enjoyed our stay at the Rainbow for 5 nights- a room by the pool. The owners and staff are friendly. The motel is older, but has been renovated, its not fancy but it is nice, as we prefer staying in more unique and family run motels. Great location for browsing the shops and parks located in Old Colorado City and Manitou Springs, Garden of the Gods, Seven Falls, etc. Was glad that the AC was cold! Unfortunately the wi-fi was extremely slow, so i gave up using it. The continental breakfast ok.

We stayed here our first two nights in Colorado Springs and couldn't say enough good things about it. I really like the little local business type place and this was definitely the one for us. When we booked online, my boyfriend asked for a list of things to do while we were in the springs. Right when we walked in, the owner knew without even looking he had asked for this and hand wrote us a list. Dodged the crappy pamphlets all the other hotels give that nobody ever really looks at. :-) He really knew the area and was full of conversation and jokes. we got a king room with a kitchen... It was a great little room. Bed was comfy, everything was pretty clean and well cared for... Great price! You can tell the owner really takes pride in keeping things nice. We really enjoyed it there. We had only planned on staying one night but ended up staying two. My only complaints here was the Wi-Fi was really spotty and incredibly slow when it did work. That and there was no fan in the bathroom. Even with opening the window, you're streaming up the whole room if you like a hot shower. Silver lining- was REALLY impressed with how much hot water this place has. We took back to back (long) showers both days and never got cold water. We had planned on being in Denver tonight but that didn't pan out.... so tonight we're in the dump motel next door wishing we would have gone back to the rainbow! Thanks for a great stay!

Yelp
I can't say enough good things about the Rainbow, as well as Eric the owner. We first stayed at the Rainbow probably 5 or 6 years ago because several friends of ours have been staying there for several years, so we decided to stay there too. We haven't gone anywhere else in Manitou since. We come down for the Pikes Peak Hill Climb every year, and Eric even gets us the same room every year, it feels like we never even left. It is definitely an older place, but in a good way, sort of like a Route 66 vibe. The rooms are very nice and clean. We will definitely be back next year.
