A Guide to Kid-Friendly Restaurants in Las Vegas

"This tropical-themed restaurant at Harmon Corner caters to kids with a wild bunch gang of jungle animals to entertain your kids (figuratively of course) in an activity book filled with puzzles and trivia. The kid’s menu is for ages 10 and younger, offering an assortment of entrees like Jurassic chicken tidbits, the gorilla grilled cheese delight, and the python pasta. Kids can choose sides like fresh veggies, mashed potatoes, or apple sauce to complete their meal." - Susan Stapleton, Maddy Sweitzer-Lamme, Janna Karel, Emmy Kasten

Rainforest Cafe in Las Vegas was a fun and memorable spot for breakfast. The atmosphere was lively and entertaining, making it a great way to start the day. Damon was FANTASTIC! He gave excellent recommendations, was attentive, and stayed on top of everything from start to finish. We tried the espresso martini and an Irish coffee, along with the chilaquiles and the country fried steak, and everything was absolutely delicious. Great food, great service, and a fun experience overall. Would definitely recommend stopping by, especially if Damon is your server!

My first time in Vegas so wanted to kickstart things with a themed restaurant. This place is awesome with a great atmosphere and also kid friendly which is nice to see. The food was so good and they had some interesting items on the menu. I went for the korean stir fry which was so zesty and refreshing with a slight punch to it. Our server Lisa was amazing and provided an outstanding service! She is great with all the customers - so friendly and attentive and complimented my outfit which made my day! Great deal on the refill cocktails too and the complimentary photo was a nice touch. Definitely a great place to come if you’re visiting Vegas for the first time!

This themed restaurant fits right in with the glitz and glam of the strip - but its family friendly and to top it off they serve good food at a relatively reasonable price. One walks into the shop and is shown their seating by the wait staff. The menu is ecelctic and there is a little something for everyone. We went with a breakfast burrito, some fresh toast, and an order of chilaquiles - all were excellent but I think the chilaquiles took the prize this time. I went with the green salsa, which had a bit of pica to it. Overall the food was very fresh, cooked to order, and was served in the middle of a rainstorm amidst a host of chimpanzees and other very large mammals - the animatronics are the show here and are a delight for adults and kids alike. Service here was outstanding - the wait staff was especially attentive, knew their menu, and provided excellent recommendations. Great experience - highly recommend!

Came here for my birthday dinner (3rd or 4th time being here overall) before going to see Cirque du Soleil and then came back for dessert after. 12/10 food, drinks, and experience both times, from the host to BOTH servers—Christie and Gabe! Best 29th birthday ever thanks to these two and the cooks of course. Thank you to everyone. Always worth the trip from northern Utah to come eat here!!!

My child picked Rainforest Café for her birthday, and it was a great choice! The jungle-themed ambiance and fun environment made it really special for her. Our server, Craig, was friendly and fast — our food came out quickly and everything was just right. She ordered the kids’ pizza and loved it (she ate the whole thing!). I had the Cajun mac and cheese, which had great flavor — pasta cooked al dente with a nice spicy kick. Overall, a fun and tasty experience! Someone did come by to make balloons for tips and we had a turtle and a crown made.

Our waiter Dominique was very nice! The atmosphere was fun and the Raspberry Rainforest drink was delicious; it tasted like a red Jolly Rancher. I also got to take home a souvenir glass cup! The nachos were good and the Korean lettuce wraps were pretty good but a little salty. Overall this was a fun place to try out here in Vegas!

Google
My family and I had an amazing experience here! The ambiance was perfect for the evening, and the food was delicious. Our server, Ronnee, was truly excellent. She was kind, funny, and incredibly attentive.

First time at a rainforest cafe and it was awesome. I sat right next to the giant butterfly and she was pretty chill. She seemed to like it here. I love the thunder and the vines and it was fun looking around and spotting a new critter every second. Our server was Ronnee and she was awesome. She was really nice and she gave me a refill and told me how to turn off the lights on my cup. Also I got to keep the cup. We got our our picture taken and it’s awesome that that's for free!!!! Protect our rainforests!!!!!

Yelp
Came here for dinner before heading to a hockey game. The restaurant is in a little mall. You checkin and then proceed inside and go upstairs to the main dining room. We try to visit a Rainforest Cafe if a city has one as the family enjoys the show and food. It was quite busy on this day but we were able to snag a table. The inside is your typical Rainforest with trees and animals adorning the ceiling and walls. Our server Oscar was great; really friendly. I had the Beef Fajitas and it was very tasty. There was a good portion of beef. My wife got the Pastalaya (her usual) and it was great too. My daughter got the Chicken Taco Salad. This dish was huge; probably could have shared with someone. But it was delicious. Rounding it out was my son getting the Python Pasta Chicken. The chicken was tender and the noodles were cooked just right but, he did comment that there could have been more sauce. The family enjoyed their meals and being in the rainforest amongst the animals make it a unique dining experience.

Yelp
I have fond memories of Rainforest Cafe when I was younger. However, I don't remember what food I liked here. I wanted to take the kids so after searching around for it, I found it on the second floor outside of Planet Hollywood. The bottom floor is a gift shop with jungle merchandise to buy but as usual overpriced. We were seating immediately in a round banquet table which was kind of awkward and tight to sit in. The menu had all kinds of food so I really did not know which food they are good at. I was tempted to get fajitas but as this is not a Mexican restaurant, I decided against it. I didn't want something big and the Bimini chicken looked good so I ordered the sandwich instead of the plate. My husband ordered the shrimp sampler and liked the coconut shrimp the best. The kids enjoyed their kids meals. The fruit was banana and orange. My kids don't like the texture of banana so I'm not sure why that was served. My Bimini sandwich was just a fried chicken sandwich, nothing island or exotic about it. The animals are great to look at and they move slightly. There is a storm every so often with lightening. Overall, it did not have the appeal as it once did. Also the menu needs to be smaller so they can focus on good food.

Yelp
I would like to first say a shout out to the amazing service of Ronnee! She was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed for our table. She also made sure to check in every so often to see if our baby woke up and we wanted anything for him to eat. My husband and I visited this location, located on the Vegas trip, the week before Christmas. We had a great time and really enjoyed our food. I will say, though that I didn't care for my drink so much. And I wish that I had been able to do one of the alcohol drinks, but since I breast-feed our baby, I was unable to partake. But the food is the main show I will say and is absolutely amazing. Also like all rainforest cafés, the ambience here is so much fun. Let's my son woke up at the end of our meal. He loved looking at the elephant and all the other rainforest decor. I will say there a special little thunderstorm goes off every 30 minutes or so. Also, if you buy one of their special drinks, you get to keep the cup! Well, if it's the plastic cup, you keep the one that you drink from if it's a glass one they get you a brand new one. Just don't forget to ask for it at the check-in desk downstairs.

Yelp
I really enjoyed eating at this Rainforest Café. The last Rainforest Café I ate at was the one in Disney World's Animal Kingdom. After my family and I visited the Arte Museum, my daughter saw the Rainforest Café in a shopping plaza across the street from the Aria. We were hungry for dinner and decided to go eat at the Rainforest Café, a few days before New Years Eve! The Rainforest Café is located in the Harmon Retail Center. It's right near Bubba Gump Shrimp and Cocolini. When my family and I asked if there was any availability for four, the team member at the front mentioned a 40 minute wait for a table. At first we were going to not go due to the wait, but we decided to put our name on the list and look at the stores nearby. I provided my cell phone for text messaging. We first decided to explore the gift shop inside the Rainforest. The atmosphere inside the retail village included themed merchandise and souvenirs. We ended up purchasing a few small toys while waiting. Luckily, after only 10 minutes, we received a text message stating that our table was ready! We were pleasantly surprised! The table seating is upstairs. It felt like you were transported into a tropical rainforest environment. There was verdant jungle foliage to animatronic animals with periodic simulated thunderstorms. It felt like an adventure dining here. There are unique features such as Tracy the Talking Tree, Nile the Crocodile, and more! We had a seat in the middle of the restaurant which was amazing since we were able to view the entire environment. The restaurant is beautiful! Looking over the menu, the menu had a lot of options from pastas, burgers, seafood, steaks, and salads. There are signature items like the Rasta Pasta which includes coconut shrimp. There is also a bar area on the first floor, the Lava Lounge, where you can enjoy themed cocktails. We decided to order the following Appetizer: Awesome Appetizer Adventure: Chimi Cha Chas, Spinach & Artichoke Dip, fried Wisconsin cheddar cheese curds, chicken strips Kids Menu: Safari Sirloin: Steak Tips, Safari Fries and Mashed Potatoes, Milk Entree: Amazon Fajitas: Grilled onions, bell peppers, sour cream, guacamole, lettuce, cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese, pico de gallo, Jasmine rice, black beans, flour tortillas Combo (Beef and Chicken) Tuki's Turkey Club: BLT, shaved turkey breast, Swiss cheese (No Mayo) For Dessert: Sparkling Volcano: chocolate brownie and chocolate cake stacked up high, served warm, with vanilla ice cream, whipped topping, chocolate and caramel sauces, candy rocks, cookie pieces, sprinkles While waiting for the appetizer, we had a chance to look at the restaurant. It was fairly busy with a lot of other customers. After waiting about 40 minutes, we asked our waiter what happened to the Appetizer. The order was put in wrong and the appetizer ended up coming out with the entrees. It worked out, but we were hungry for awhile! By the time the entrees arrived it was about an hour later. My husband and I split the Fajitas. I really enjoyed the chicken. It was tender, juicy, and flavorful. There was a side of rice, beans, and all of the ingredients needed to make an amazing wrap! The beef was just okay. It was a little tough. It was a perfect meal to split though! My daughter liked the Kids Sirloin steak, but there wasn't much to the meal. Luckily we had the appetizer that had chicken strips and other items that came out with the entrée! The Wisconsin cheddar cheese curds were my favorite. My mom enjoyed the Turkey club. After the entrees, the Sparkling Volcano sounded like a lot of fun and we decided to order that for dessert, sharing it! The chocolate brownie and chocolate cake was huge! There was a decoration that looked like sparklers in the middle of the cake! It was perfect to split with four members as there was two scoops of ice cream, two scoops of whipped cream, and the cake! It was delicious! I had an amazing time at this Rainforest café and the price wasn't too bad either! Local discounts are not accepted. Service here was good, though our order wasn't 100% accurate, the food was still great! This restaurant was a awesome experience!

Yelp
We came with a group and was just for the kids. The food here is very mediocre and expensive. We ordered coconut shrimp, BBQ bacon cheeseburger,a side of cold slaw, and kids got pasta. The decor was fun but was hoping for more animatronic animals. They have "rain and thunder" like every 30 minutes so younger kids may be a little scared. Overall, the service was good. Note: our kids got excited when they saw balloon artists. We thought it was complimentary, but they are not hired by the restaurant. They work tips and the person who made us balloon animals asked for $5-10 tip per animal which seemed a bit high.

Yelp
I've heard a lot about this chain but never been to one until now! Was blown away by the decor & animatronics during the "show" every 20 minutes. Lots of photo ops too! Came to celebrate my mom's birthday. She wore the cute explorer hat & they gave us a cupcake treat! Ate the Adventure appetizer platter plus the St. Louis style ribs. Definitely worth the price & felt very full! I didn't love the chicken tenders with the honey mustard sauce (too sweet, maybe a buffalo one would be better), but enjoyed everything else. Also got Raspberry Margarita & Panama Punch (not overly sweet but very strong). Was thrilled to take my souvenir glass home! Will definitely come back to this for a late lunch.

Yelp
We had a very big party. The waitress was very friendly and had good service. Order the bacon cheeseburger. Cooked perfectly. Topped with fresh ingredients. Nice and crispy fries. Everyone else loved their food.
google avatar

Melanie A.

Yelp
The restaurant was nice. The little show they have with some of the animals moving around was fun. Employees were friendly but could be more attentive to the tables, our waitress came to our table once to check up but not as frequent mind you we had a party of 20 here tonight we need refills but haven't been asked. But she was nice though. Food was good. I only took a few pics to show on here. I had the fish tacos, it was good but only thing I didn't like the fact that my fish tacos was served with Jasmin white rice maybe some cilantro rice would have been better. Same thing with the fajitas it was serviced with plain white rice. The steak was great though! I also enjoyed the Sparkling Volcano for dessert. Make sure to take pictures outside at the patio great view of the strip.

Yelp
My husband and I visited for a rare date dinner on a quick business trip and our experience was just ok. I've been to the original Rainforest Cafe in Vegas a few times as a kid and that one was epic! Larger and more interactive fake animals. The hostesses were all very nice, welcoming and professional. Our server was a nice guy just very awkward. We ordered Steak Fajitas and a garden salad and it was all just ok, my husband's order of Fajitas had twice the steak that my plate had, which just felt very inconsistent.
google avatar

Yelp
Service was great. All employees, especially our waiter Damon. He was helpful in explaining the concept of the restaurant, the menu and drinks. Food was delicious and arrived I. A timely manner. Jungle ambience added to the experience. The 4 yr old in our group had a blast.
google avatar

Varuni R.

Yelp
Food was good as usual. Our waitress was funny and a pleasant. Though we are adults you never get bored of the rain forest decor and the thunder storm sound. Instead of trying a new restaurant we stuck with what we knew already.
google avatar

Jessi A.

Yelp
Honestly pretty expensive for the food you get. The atmosphere is really cool. There are animal animatronics on the walls/trees. Every 20 minutes there is a thunderstorm, which we were glad they warned us before it happened the first time. The neatest part was that they take you on a "safari" as you are seated. They have a neat jungle track playing, however it plays over regular music which is kind of weird. Someone came over to our table and took our picture. Afterwards, they came back and said we had a free "gift". She gave us two blank keychains and the photos she took. Then offered to have us but bigger photos. Which felt a little lame. We said no and still got to keep the keychains. We both ordered appetizers and they were okay. The lettuce wrap was super spicy, but also had a lot of great flavor. Neat experience, but not sure I would return.
google avatar

Tiffany B.

Yelp
Came here for dinner. They were all full except the 8pm time slot, which was very late for dinner, but it's fine. Our server was amazing! Attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. I hadn't been to a Rainforest Cafe since the one in Downtown Disney in Anaheim closed. It was a fun experience to be back and feel as if you're in a jungle plus the various (fake) animals surrounding you with the sound effects. Ordered blackened fish tacos, seafood trio platter, and coconut shrimp and salmon plate for a family style dinner. It was delicious! They have their coconut shrimp down IMO. Food came out quick. Great dinner! One of the best meals.
google avatar

Sari C.

Yelp
Is this meal going to blow your socks off? Definitely not, but if you are traveling to Vegas with kids, this is a fun experience. The food is meh nothing special but not bad. I ordered the Chinese chicken salad and it was fine, a good portion size. They were really accommodating to our party with kids. I was surprised how packed it was but again mostly families which makes sense. Not the best meal in Vegas I've had but it's exactly what you'd expect from a Rainforest Cafe. The kids loved the animal sounds and the thunder storm that happens every 20 or so minutes where it gets dark and you see lights mimicking lightening.
google avatar

B B.

Yelp
Food was surprisingly delicious despite it being a theme restaurant (not surprising considering it is owned by Landry's Inc). I had the Cajun Mac and cheese and my son had the ribs. Everything was delicious. We were celebrating a 3 yr old's bday and he was loving it. I took my kids there probably over twenty years ago and had fond memories but wasn't sure what to expect since our taste in food has changed so much over the years. We were not disappointed.
google avatar

Nadine S.

Yelp
Drinks were yummy, we loved that we could take the souvenir glasses home with us! Food was nice and filling, we got 3 appetizers to share (lettuce wraps, nachos, and safari fries (not pictured)). The overall atmosphere was great for people of all ages. I'd say it is definitely an experience and a must-try! (Be prepared if you have littles or sensitivities to loud sounds or flashing/dimming lights). Service was prompt and friendly. Dining was upstairs and gift shop was downstairs. We also received a free mini photo and keychain to put the photo in. We did not purchase the regular sized photos and frames which were $10 for 1 photo, $20 for photo + frame, or $50 for 2 photos + frame. Overall great and fun experience to bring friends and family when visiting the strip!
google avatar

Marie C.

Yelp
Food was good but it would be better if they would bring back the Leaping Lizard Lettuce Wraps.
google avatar

Audrey B.

Yelp
Great breakfast place for family went two different times when visiting Vegas! There's a gift shop below, patio seating & next time I definitely have to sit under the stars.

Yelp
My first time going to a Rainforest Cafe. We parked at Miracle Mile and it turned out to be outside of the mall. We ended up having to pay $18 for parking since it took over an hour to walk over and eat. The vibe inside was sad and dark at lunch. We brought my friend's 10 year old son, but he wasn't very interested. We shared and appetizer sampler. The fried items on there were all soggy. It felt like they pre-fried and kept it warm, instead of frying fresh. They need to do better.
google avatar

Trent G.

Yelp
I knew nothing before taking it in, but for a themed restaurant on the Strip, it wasn't significantly more expensive than it could have been. The service was great and kept us well informed. The food was amazing and very tasty.
google avatar

Peg H.

Yelp
Went here today for my FREE $25.00 off Landry's Select Club, lunch. I ordered the Taco SaladW/chicken. It was good. The ambiance is exciting. Very fun place for children. We had to park in the Miracle Mile parking garage, then walked quite a bit. 1st hour is free, $18.00 each hour after that. We spent 5 minutes or more looking for a parking space, then walked 10 to get to the Rainforest Cafe. I highly suggest parking at the Westgate or Sahara (free) and taking the Monorail and get off at the planet Hollywood stop, and then walk over to the Rainforest Cafe. No waiting if you sit in the bar area, staff was very friendly. Service is very good.
google avatar

Troy M.

Yelp
My family and I are here on our trip to Vegas. This wait wasn't long. We got seated pretty quick. The atmosphere here is so fun! Kids will love it! They have lightning and thunder storms every so often which is fun. They have a big menu with tons of different food options. Everything we ordered we liked. They portions are big and filling. Some of us even shared plates. I wish they had more locations of Rainforest Cafe around.
google avatar

Andrew T.

Yelp
Went here with our party of 10 (as it's easy to make a reservation here), and it was a decent experience. For the strip, not particular expensive, but food is "you get what you pay for". I got the trio of ribs, steak, and coconut shrimp, and would not recommend it. The steak was very tough, despite being medium rare. Ribs were good, as were the coconut shrimp though. Service was fun-staff here are trained to be fun which is nice! Great place for children if they like the animal/rainforest experience, or for a large group with varied food tastes.
google avatar

Gianna V.

Yelp
My girlfriends and I were excited to eat here. The other locations we would dine at are now closed (SF & LA). We came in yesterday, Saturday around 11:00 a.m. Our server's name was Dom. He was very polite and attentive. The hostess was friendly as well. Customer service was excellent all around. The food was great & the portions are generous. The jungle atmosphere & animatronics are always fun!
google avatar

Adi G.

Yelp
We came here for the nostalgia. Our local rainforest cafe closed years ago and we had to go again when in Vegas. The food was ok, as the menu is mostly geared towards children. The vibes were cool but it was a little too loud with both rainforest sounds and radio songs playing. The wait was long even though we made a reservation. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. Safari Steve was very nice and helpful. Thank you! We might come here again for the experience. If you're in Vegas it's worth checking out.
google avatar

Jada H.

Yelp
My experience is strictly off vibes. We didn't get food. The restaurant is decorated so nice! It is a great place to bring kids! There is a little toy store on the first floor while the dining area is on the second floor. They have cute little 1-use birthday hats. There are giant fake animals that move and there is fake lightning that occurs periodically. We couldn't stay for the food because we arrived for our reservation late and had to go somewhere else shortly but the staff was very nice and understanding we had to leave.
google avatar

Bob C.

Yelp
We went there this year because my autistic son remembers going there as a child. Man were we disappointed. We literally got no service for over twenty minutes. When we told the manager he gay a server. But she was very rude to us. Said it was a shift change. We will not go back or ever recommend this place.
google avatar

Yelp
Graduation celebration The 5 of us embarked on this evening and it was all about the 5 yr old kindergarten boy. He is amazing. An adventure and adorable. Seated within 15 minutes of reservation. He was Leary of the gorilla at the upstairs photo op but we made it up on the way out. He enjoyed the ambiance. From the elephant heads moving and eyes opening in addition to there sounds, to the butterfly wings, money swinging and the other animals found in the kids adventure book given to all children. He ordered 2 entrees and ate off of almost everyone's plate. After waiting about 40 min and the place wasn't crowded for food. We ordered pizza, hots , 2 pastas (1 a bit dry to a newby) and a salad. We drank: water, adult juice (5 year old description), mocktails, sprite and watered down strawberry lemonade. We had a blast! This celebration was a success for the grandson and that's what was important. He took advantage of 2 photo ops on the way out .

Yelp
We got in and was immediately calmed by fresh air and THE AMBIANCE OF THIS PLACE IS ALL JUNGLE I LOVE IT. They even have a downstairs where the gift shop is!! :D Right as when we got up it was all jungle themed and a indoor storm happened it was so cool!! I ordered the Lasanga it was called somethin else but i f0rg0t already l0l xD IT WAS ABSOLUTELY DELISH I had f00d coma right aft3r! Our waiter especially liked my dad because they both share stuff in c0mm0n they were just so funny they also made sure our experience was satisfactory it was so nice of themm ^^ After we ate we went down to the giftshop where some of my family got some things but i p1cked out a mystery bag for $6 dollars!! thas pretty cheap and inside was a rainforest cafe baseball & the rainforest cafe mascot squishy! ^w^ (the frog) OVERALL I RECOMMEND THUS PLACE TO NATURE L0V3RS AND PE0PLE WHO L0VE ANIMALS!! buh-bye and keep it g0in' Rainforest Cafe!! :3

Yelp
Rainforest cafe is what it is. We've been to a few over the past 20 or so years. They are all about the same. But since our last visit 10 years ago, it's gone way downhill. Classic drinks with souvenir cups, pictures taken at the table etc. The food was not good. Frozen, fried, tasteless, dry. The kids meal came with fruit which was just a banana. The only reason it gets 2 stars is because our waiter was wonderful. He gave us the best service we had on vacation. Ricardo was great!

Yelp

Yelp
We ordered the chicken blue mountain caprese sandwich but forgot to take a picture because we ate it right away . It was tasty and the chicken breast was juicy too. We also shared the artichoke dip with chips and pretty good appetizer. Creamy and the tomatoes added to the overall flavor of the cream and artichoke. Very cute jungle like atmosphere. Customer service was very attentive. We celebrated a birthday and we got a complimentary chocolate cake as well. Kid friendly atmosphere.

Yelp
I had been wanting to come to a Rainforest Cafe for a while. I can see how this would be a good place for kids' birthday parties. The theming is well done, albeit a tad too dark. To the point where a few people needed their phone's flashlight to read the menu. If I had to pick one word to describe the food here, it would be... dry. Dad ordered brunch chilaquiles. Dry (but tasted good). I ordered the chicken and waffles. Dry. The attempt to garnish my dish with small slices of strawberry and raw jalapeño looked low effort and haphazard. Not really impressed but I'm glad I satisfied my curiosity. Thank you for your hard work, Brian! It's not easy being only one of two servers on a shift. I want you to know that my dad and I appreciated your effort, humor, and candor about why the Shrimp and Grit Cakes went six feet under here.
google avatar

Carolyn P.

Yelp
Fun place for sure! We just stopped in for drinks. We have eaten here before and food is good. I ordered a happy hour pineapple drink that was great. I love shopping in their gift area too. We purchased cute animal plates and animal figures that grandson will love.
google avatar

Lisa S.

Yelp
Eating lunch here today was a great experience. Well, only because our server and bar person Handy was amazing. five stars for Handy. Loved loved how he was on top of our needs and going out of his way to take care of things asked. Great atmosphere. I see the kids love it here because of the forest

Brittany L.

Yelp
10000% recommend this restaurant if you have kids, they have animatronics, balloon artist, and a gift shop. The drinks were actually great but the best part is you get to keep the cup after with the logo on it. Honestly, the food was okay, but what you are really paying for is the presentation of everything! Highly recommend this place if you have a birthday celebration, you will enjoy the service, show, and free dessert.

Yelp
Came here to celebrate my son's 5th birthday. We didn't do a birthday package but when they asked us if we were celebrating anything before we were seated, we did let them know about the occassion. This Rainforest Cafe was a little hard for us to find - we parked in the Miracle Mile Parking Garage and eventually made it there. The restaurant itself seemed a little small, but it was still fun to walk around with my littles so they could see all of the animals. Our server was Anna and she was so incredibly sweet. I ordered a Chicken sandwich and it was huge and absolutely delicious - in fact we were all surprised by the quality of our food. Everything that was ordered was so good and the portions are really plentiful. They even came out and sang happy birthday to my son which he almost liked as much as the rainforest thunder storms.

Yelp
Some much nostalgia being able to come here after the one in Disneyland closed down. The service was great. The food and ambience were good, including the show that happens every 20min. Even got to take home a free glass beer cup form ordering a drink. We love this place!

Yelp
Great service, food and ambience Thank you Damon, very polite and competent server. And we appreciated the local knowledge on a few things we interested in.

Yelp
I can't recall the last time I've been in a Rainforest Cafe! The decor has always been interesting and never a dull moment, when the thunder and lightning begins! Clarissa is making sure that I eat, drink, and relax! She is an energizer bunny! Keeping the bar spotless and my cocktails coming! Thanks C! I'll be back!

Yelp
Know that if you take a good photo upon entering they will force you to take an awkward boring photo and give you that one with your keychain. That was incredibly disappointing. Who needs a "side hug" when you could be posing like an elephant? The rest of the staff was decent. The fries were surprisingly good. The drinks were as to be expected. The nostalgia ran deep.

Yelp
It's my first time visiting the strip and my husband decided we should get breakfast at the rainforest cafe since I used to go as a kid and he's never been. The place wasn't busy but it did take a very long time for us to get our food. Thankfully our waiter Alberto made the experience worthwhile. Thank you!

Yelp
You come to Rainforest cafe not because of the food, but for the environment. My kids missed the Rainforest Cafe at Disneyland so when we decided to go to Vegas, we had to stop here. The every 15 min lightening storms are fun. If you sit inside, they turn off the lights (I mean, its already so dark, but they make it even darker). You hear lightening and the speaker system is so strong, you feel the base. You also see bolts of lightening. My kids loved the souvenir cups; they glow at the bottom and they come in all sorts of fun flavors. $14 The kids meals are mediocre. They mostly got burgers and mac & cheese which looked plain. I did like that it came with fruits. The adult meals are also mediocre. I got the fajitas and they weren't authentic by any means and small in portion. Drinks were decent. They have a full bar. We got a long beach which was mildy strong. Friendly staff and fast service. If you sit outside, you can see the strip which is really cool.

Yelp
Even though my kids had a good time, the parking for Rainforest Cafe is just awful. I paid $25 to park at the miracle mile, which is just ridiculous. I made reservations online. At the downstairs check-in, she said I was "checked in", but didn't provide clear instructions on what to do so we waited downstairs. When I asked about the table ten minutes later, she told me vague instructions on what to do again so we just went upstairs. When I checked in upstairs, we were seated immediately. The food at the restaurant was over priced as well. The Caribbean rice was delicious though. The kids didn't mind, but the animatronics were old and a little frightening. As a local, I will probably never go back because of the parking.

Yelp
great place to reminisce about how cool the rainforest cafe was as a kid. Our server was amazing. Came to try the cake and it was so yummy. Loved the gift shop as well and got one of their weighted heated plushies!

Yelp
We were looking for a family friendly restaurant on the strip. I had never been to a Rainforest Cafe before, so I was eager to try it out. I will say that this place has an unbeatable ambiance, the sound and light effects all make for a very exciting and fun dining experience. It's unlike any other restaurant I've been to. A+ ambiance, with animatronic animals nestled in the rainforest. I was excited to sit beneath the elephants. They were very entertaining throughout our meal. I'm not sure if there's an accessible entrance to the restaurant, but there's a set of stairs up to the restaurant, just FYI. Overall, it's really a joyful setting. The staff are friendly and inviting. Frankly, the food for me was an afterthought, though the highlights were the appetizers, bruschetta and the sampler (awesome appetizer adventure). The kid's menu also was a hit. I have seen that they offer a brunch and the offerings sound good. Maybe it's best to get something fried here? We may have just come during the wrong time of day. Still had a lovely time here!

Yelp
I love Rainforest Cafe! The ambience is incredible, especially at this location. It truly felt like we were in a forest, and our toddler loved the animals. The menu has changed a lot since the first time I visited a Rainforest Cafe location, and I will say that I have never had a meal there as good as my first one (bacon-wrapped, crab-and-cheese stuffed shrimp with rice). But the seafood platter I ordered this time was pretty good. The Rainforest Tsunami Cake, though, really took the--well--cake. Our server seemed pretty hassled on this visit and went long periods of time without checking on us.

Yelp
Came for the happy hour at the bar and we were not disappointed! There were five of us and we all thoroughly enjoyed our drinks and the bartender. She was incredibly friendly and nice to chat with. The ambiance is really nice, we loved the "thunder storms" and liked the animatronics as well. Overall, it was a lot of fun.
