Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers

Google
On this specific day I interacted with ali. This wasn't the first time but this was the first time when I was placing a personal order. The whole staff in that place is amazing even the managers that I have had to speak with are just fantastic. One of the coworkers there actually told me about a restaurant called Ruby's because I was telling him I love barbecue and that I really want to find a good place down here. His suggestion was fantastic. I will say that anytime I walk in the store it is always clean and the bathrooms are always in tip top shape. Way to go team! Your Patron and delivery pick up driver

Raising Cane’s offers the customer a unique and exciting take on a venerable culinary standard. Their outposts reach far and wide not just because of a delectably distinctive product. The staff behind the product makes Cane’s special. Teegan, the supervisor at Austin’s Bee Caves store is ebullient and courteous. From the expeditious service to the beverages and side orders, Teegan ably manages a tight ship and optimizes the experience for each and every customer.

Raising Cane’s never disappoints! The chicken fingers are always hot, crispy, and juicy—the quality is super consistent no matter which location I visit. The Cane’s Sauce is absolutely addictive, and the Texas toast and crinkle-cut fries make the meal feel complete. Don’t skip the sweet tea or lemonade—they’re always fresh and hit the spot. Service is fast and friendly, even when the place is packed. The staff keeps things moving efficiently without sacrificing good vibes. The restaurant is clean, with a laid-back, upbeat atmosphere that makes it a great quick lunch or dinner option. Simple menu, but they’ve mastered what they do. If you’re craving fried chicken done right, Cane’s is the move every time. Highly recommend!

Google
The smallest chicken strips in the world. Ordered the three finger combo and two of the strips are as big as the sauce cup...

Google
Probably one of the worst. I was here delivering food and a customer tried to assault me. I was here yesterday and the staff and clients were extremely rude. Oh and I spent nearly $50 in merchandise in private dollars as a delivery driver. This is after string of robberies. Probably related acts.

Google
I pulled up to give my order and the lady walked straight past me took two orders behind me and kept walking. She completely ignored me so I drove up to get my order taken and the cashier acted upset like I did something wrong when they were the ones that made the mistake and told me to pull forward in a spot The two people behind me and got their food before me terrible customer service.

Google
Best raising Cane's I have been. Super clean, a lot of sitting super friendly staff. Clean restrooms and beautiful decorated! Food is always outstanding. Best chicken fingers 😋

Jennifer P.

Google
The best fried chicken chain I have ever had. Period. Wish there was one where I live. For now I have to settle for visiting just when I visit family/friends. They have a simple menu, but they do it all so great and consistently. I've been there dozens of times and they've only ever messed up my order maybe twice. Otherwise it's always perfect and delicious. They are always Super friendly and never in a fake way. I love going through the drive through where they have some random funny catch phrase. Makes me giggle every time.

Yelp
Matthew and the entire team were amazing at accommodating my tailgate order. customer service on point, everyone was so kind even with high pressure. will do more parties here

Yelp
I always love a good Cane's location and this one definitely serves me well when I go to UFA games at Westlake. The chicken was so hot that I had to wait about 8 minutes to eat it! The place was dirty but there was a lady who started cleaning as I was leaving. The drive thru staff is awesome and the manager is great! Go through the drive thru and see what type of greeting you get ;-)

Freddie T.

Yelp
Had to pay for a water cup, thought water was free in America, got water for free like 2 days ago! Unacceptable!
google avatar

Yelp
3.5 Definitely improving. I decided to go through the drive thru after going to a concert for a late night meal. Ordered and drove up to the drive thru window quickly. The service was good and my order was correct. Yay! I will return for the yummy chicken sandwich. I just hope that the orders continue coming back correct.

Yelp
UPDATE: Custom service was amazing on the phone. We tried it again and had no issues. Thank you Canes!! We just placed an order via the app for 4 Box combos today. We picked up our order and took it to the office to discover we are missing our extra sauces that we paid extra for. I also ordered Ketchup and hot sauce and we received ZERO. If I didn't pay extra it wouldn't be a big deal. I have leftover chicken and fries with no sauce to dip in. The sauce is why we love Cane's. Order #30190345143320578 for 12pm today

Yelp
Can never go wrong since they do the one thing, chicken sign up for the caniac club and take advantage of their bogo box deals every few months. Plenty of deliciousness to last you till the next offer. Skip the slaw and get extra toast. Half sweet tea half lemonade is the way to go also.

Nathalie E.

Yelp
Great food. Very rude worker. The one with red long hair has no manners. Kindness is free. I'm sorry, but I will not be returning to this location.
google avatar

KayTee K.

Yelp
Great food! Always hot! The only reasons for the rating is the screaming. Every time I go through the drive thru they are literally screaming about chicken times. As a momma with a little one that is usually sleeping, it strikes a nerve.

Harper S.

Yelp
It was fabulous!! My food was absolutely divine. If I was told I was dying tomorrow, I would beg my mother on my knees that canes could be my last meal. The fries are like little crinkle cut stairs to heaven and the sauce is the opening to my heart. Don't get me started on the Texas toast!!! It is so perfectly fried (like my hair) that it makes the ultimate crunching sound, similar to me stepping on a cockroach. If I were told be more specific, it makes the exact sound that my granny's back does when she rises from the grave, for her favorite meal of the century. The chicken is heart-stopping. Trust me, my uncle's did. Thank you for your time! I'll be here at the same time tomorrow! #grannyrisingforraisingcanes

Yelp
I love Canes but not so much the increased prices for the decreased size of the chicken fingers. And today, I ordered the Caniac Combo that's supposed to come with six fingers, I Got Shorted!!! Missing a full finger! You'd think for $15.99 these things would be bigger like they used to be. Sad, as I thought about Cane's all day. Thumbs down for whom ever packed my meal tonight at the Westlake location. Would've been 5 stars if the order had been correct. I paid extra for no coleslaw, double fries, and an extra sauce - in case you were wondering.

Yelp
Raising canes is as good as Chic Fillet We move it Wish there was one closer to us The dipping sauce is great

het h.

Yelp
My experience here was horrible. i ordered a ROOT BEER and SWEET TEA and they gave me 2 leprechaun lemonades. refused to give us our actual drinks and overall horrible attitudes. their service was terrible.
google avatar

Katrina K.

Yelp
Live near the Canes on Lakeway. Came here couple times a week since this one opened. Today the counter person refused a torn $20 bill. I asked for manager. She refused it as well. Seriously? Sadly this is my last meal here.
google avatar

Jason B.

Yelp
This review makes me so sad that raising Cane's has become so corporate ran that the portion of everything has shrink down. The chicken tenders used to be amazing and why we came because they were large and you could get full now they're barely there and charging more money such a sad thing to see from a place that used to be great. At least the sweet tea is still good in the same size.

joe B.

Yelp
Awesome staff and great restaurant overall great experience every single time I go here
google avatar

Katherine Y.

Yelp
My boyfriend is obsessed with Raising Cane's! He said I had to try it and it was pretty good. I don't think I love it as much as he does but the food is fresh and quick and every time we have friendly service. We either share a 6 piece combo or each get a 4 piece combo depending on how hungry we are.
google avatar

Johanna J.

Yelp
Last week was the first time I ate Raising Canes. Hubby decided to surprise me with a quick lunch combo and this did not disappoint. Yes, it's just chicken fingers with fries and toast BUT the quality and how it's prepared does sets it apart from competitors. First, everything was fresh - no stale taste. Second, the dipping sauce was delicious and third, portion served was just right. I am looking forward to dine-in service in the future. I do recommend!
google avatar

Kaycee S.

Yelp
I love Raising Cane's already. I just wanted to say that this is the best one I've been to thus far. Everyone was super nice, and I will definitely come to this location (until Raising Cane's decides to open one in South Austin).
google avatar

Lauren R.

Yelp
Quick and friendly service. Chicken, fries, and toast were great like usual. Drink refill area was clean and stocked. Great experience for a quick lunch during our work break
google avatar

Grace B.

Yelp
Great food! Very speedy and kind service. They kept the place very clean and I love that they use wipes instead of the same dirty cloth over and over again. Definitely try!

Warren E.

Yelp
Great experience dinning here on a Saturday night. Food and service was excellent. Very clean and well staffed location.
google avatar

Ramon S.

Yelp
Is it just luck of the chicken draw or is Canes chicken shrinking... overall still very good. Highly recommend!

Brayden C.

Yelp
Love Canes, everyone is so friendly, ordered a three finger combo, extra toast and sauce, kids meal. No extra toast or sauce, kids meal only had fries in the box no chicken, no chicken? I will continue to come because I love this place but only bad experience for the drive it takes to get to the location I thought I'd share
google avatar

Ariel B.

Yelp
what the hell kinda box combo is this??? these chicken strips are the size of my finger!! barely any fries and I also asked for extra fries, no slaw. This is the 3rd time this has happened. I went back through the drive through and the lady working the window argued that sometimes the chicken tenders are small.. like what?? sometimes is not 3 times in row! also she tried to charge me for the extra fries when it was clearly her fault for not listening correctly to the order being placed. Don't waste your money here, there are plenty of places that offer great chicken for a lower price!

Art H.

Yelp
Just stopped by a Cane's location in North Austin to pick up dinner for the grand kids. I ordered two 6 piece dinners and extra toast. When. I got back home and opened up the containers I found that the size of the chicken fingers was about HALF of what I was used to. There were fewer fries and the toast was noticeably smaller. No where was I warned that they had slashed the size of their offerings while raising their prices by over 15%. While I like their products, I was EXTREMELY disappointed with the price vs. the size of the dinners. It will be sometime, if ever, before they get my business back.
google avatar

Jaison S.

Yelp
Perhaps my expectations were too high when I initially came here but c'mon people... it's just chicken strips! The chicken was breaded nicely and the right temperature but a little stringy to the point I could not eat half of one strip. The accompanying sauce and slice of Texas Toast are really the stars of the show here. The staff is friendly (a little to the point of obnoxious) and fast but I would only visit Cane's again if it was Sunday (because Chick Fil A is closed).
google avatar

Creeperking P.

Yelp
Raising canes is a nice fast food restaurant with good service, but even though they are known for selling chicken, their chicken isn't very good. It's mostly raw and the skin is like if you wrapped a chip around a chicken strip. The only food I thought was good was their French fries and their drinks.
google avatar

Jaclyn B.

Yelp
My favorite place for chicken fingers! Always hot, fresh and delicious. I wish they had these in every state!
google avatar

Texas T.

Yelp
I had no idea that chicken fingers could be this darn good!!! Lightly battered (somehow) with a fabulous dipping sauce - "just enough bite" to it too!! Was our first time but I "Garrranteeee YOU" it won't be our last! Give it a try and surprise yourself!!! Wish they had more locations all over town but with sky high land costs I doubt we will see that happening anytime soon. Yummy bird fingers!!!
google avatar

Mari V.

Yelp
Great chicken strips and fries. There is a batter free option kids enjoy. The sauce is a bonus. The cole slaw is good. They have great ice for soda as well!
google avatar

Michael D.

Yelp
Good chicken, tender, and cooked well, but very limited selections. Formerly frozen, now limp fries that they do not allow you to substitute except for a second small coleslaw. The sauce was good, but again, only one selection? Definitely not worth the price. Nice staff. Clean Store.

Yelp
This location just opened yesterday in what was formerly a Carl's Jr. I have to say that the neighborhood got a major upgrade with Raising Cane's. I'm generally a chicken-on-the-bone kind of guy. But I know a good chicken tender when I eat one and these rate very highly in my book. Plump and juicy with a nice light breading. The zesty sauce that accompanies them was also very good. The decor inside was pretty eclectic with a disco ball spinning above the door. There were some pictures of various Austin celebs like Matthew McConaughey, Bob Schneider, and former West Laker Drew Brees to give it some local flair. There was also a sign proclaiming their sauce was the boss - which is a marketing slogan synonymous with Rudy's around here. But we'll let that slide since their chicken is pretty kickin!
google avatar

Jana B.

Yelp
I've had Canes a few times in another town but was ready to give the new Austin location a try. The staff was super welcoming and the decor was cute and thoughtful. My friend inquired about the Canes sauce and I responded "it's like crack." The manager played along and agreed, even noting that everything on the menu was just that good and it was "like we are the local crack house!" It's so true. The manager chatted with us a bit since my friend was a first timer: everything is made fresh daily including the sides and sauces. Maybe they'll teach me the secret ingredients to the crack-sauce??? A girl can wish. The chicken tenders were hot and were perfectly breaded - not too much. The coleslaw was my favorite part! Definitely tasted like it had been made that morning. Cheers to you, Raising Canes! Your food shows love. And for that we love you.

LeAnn H.

Yelp
I LOVE RAISING CANES. Chicken fingers with extra yummy cane sauce, fries, Texas toast, and a sweet tea. It's simple and yummy. The sauce totally makes it.
google avatar

Brittany P.

Yelp
I really hope this was just a one time thing & a bad day. Chicken was rock hard, fries were cold, and the actual pick up order was incorrect. This is my favorite chicken shop & I hope my next visit is better. ‍

E W.

Yelp
Once again, they failed to put all of the items that I ordered, and PAID for, into my bag on the drive-thru. This is a re-occurring problem with them. They need to train their staff to double-check the orders. A suggestion that has been made to them many times, by myself and others who experience the same thing. And it happens again. And again.

D M.

Yelp
I always like Cane's chicken, which is crispy yet moist & tender. I also love the crinkle cut fries and their toast. The sauce and coleslaw are also great. And, we had friendly, great service during the lunch rush, and I appreciate they were hustling & keeping the tables cleaned. Beyond all this, what I appreciate even more is the honesty of the young man who was cleaning the tables as we left and found the purse I left hanging on the back of my chair. I was traveling from out of state; in addition to the usual driver's license, credit cards, etc. I also had my passport in my bag. I didn't realize I'd left it until arriving back at our hotel. When I called to see if it was turned in, they assured me they were holding my purse for me. As foolish as I felt for leaving my bag, I am incredibly grateful and relieved everything was saved for me until I returned for it. I was so wigged out & then relieved, that I didn't even think to ask his name & let the manager know about my sincere appreciation. He wouldn't accept the meager $40 cash I happened to have on me, so I left it behind on the counter. His kindness and honesty were worth WAY more than I could adequately repay, so I hope he could at least get a cup of coffee for helping out a forgetful ol lady.
google avatar

Steve W.

Yelp
The crinkle cut fries are almost my favorite of any fast food restaurant. Their consistency is across the board very good regardless of location chicken strips or good tender fresh and very flavorful. I just wish they had a few more dipping sauce choices.
google avatar

Leslie C.

Yelp
This is my favorite Canes location. Food is always fresh & customer service is great! Parking can be limited but it's easy to get in and out of.
google avatar

Vlad S.

Yelp
who cares anymore? not me. all chicken just the same. some diners got powerade, some got hi-c. crispy chicken french fry and i'm in purgatory baby. sweetest little thing running the ship in there, o bless her texas sized heart. reminds me lots of the one that got away. Private Message me for more details!
google avatar

Chris B.

Yelp
It's fast food chicken tenders so it's not gonna knock your socks off but it's good and it's cheap and it's easy so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.
google avatar

Kevin W.

Yelp
Best raising canes in the area. Always super polite staff, usually very clean. Food is always fresh and delicious. If you want canes or have a yearning for chicken go here.
google avatar

Stacey L.

Yelp
Today was my first and probably last time coming. Stopped by for lunch, ordered 3 piece meal with large sweet tea for about 8 bucks, very few choices on menu, if i have tenders i want mashed potatoes not fries, - fries were good and garlic bread was good. tenders - bland, nasty, the batter was actually falling off.. ( it did come with some pink looking sauce, when driving dipping isnt really an option) - but just nasty.... sweet tea was good, my only comment on that, the meal came in a styro foam container yet the cup in a plastic cup which sweats..

K Y.

Yelp
i love canes but i cant give them that many stars bc they keep forgetting things. last time they didnt give me my extra bread i paid for. this time, they forgot the 2nd sauce and coleslaw. they just rush food out to you without even double checking they got everything right.
google avatar

Matthew O.

Yelp
Let me start by saying that "Westlake" is like its own city. Here in "Westlake" most people have a little more money, and don't like establishments that weren't already there 15 years ago or don't get involved with the community. For example, Randall's and Stein Mart have been there for EVER and yet people go to Randall's even though they KNOW the prices are outrageous, and Stein Mart is just... Stein Mart...The Chik-Fil-A in Westlake gets involved in the high school football games with the school mascot, and Thunderclouds caters to the middle schoolers after school is out. Places in Westlake pretty much have to: 1.) Get involved with Westlake High School sports. 2.) Have a Westlake Pinnacle paper rack in or outside of it. 3.) Not be "out of place" with the area. If you follow those guidelines (especially the High School Sports one) then your business will BOOM here! Raising Canes has figured that out and has plastered Westlake High School logos all over it! Even has a little picture of the now NFL QB Drew Brees in his high school days inside! So even if the food isn't all that great it is still going to be THE place to go. Which brings me to the point... It's not all that great. When I entered I was greeted with EXTREMELY loud music, so loud in fact that the guy taking my order made me repeat it. But the worst was their air conditioning OH MY GOSH! It had to be close to 60 degrees in there! It was so cold I got goosebumps! I know it's summer and all but by the time I finished my first tender the rest were room temperature! I even resorted to relocating but there is a huge 3 foot long AC vent that shoots down ice cold air on one side and the same on the other! The only spot in the place to not get hit by this are two small, two seater tables sitting right between them! At the end of the day, the food isn't all that great, if it weren't for their famous "Cane's Sauce" I wouldn't go back, but since it is close to me and it isn't completely horrible, I will still return. And even if I didn't, don't forget what I said earlier! They have Westlake High School logos everywhere so it won't be going ANYWHERE, ANYTIME soon!
google avatar

Jennifer N.

Yelp
So beyond excited to have this place open in the middle of Westlake! Such a great change for the area and especially this location, it has been many things that have failed. Hopefully the people in this area will keep it thriving. Raising Cane's always has quality food and the chicken is so tender and delicious, it's unbelievable. There is not much a variety on the menu, but if you want great chicken for an affordable price quick and easy, this is the place for you. They also have an outstanding toast as well. Glad to see this has opened and hope to see it around for a long time.
google avatar

Marcie M.

Yelp
Know what I love? Getting home and discovering I wasn't given my toast! Seriously the best part.

Amy S.

Yelp
We ordered the 50 piece tail gate with '2 orders of fries' which was about enough fries to serve my 7 year old. Assumed they would know that I'd need 2 TRAY orders of fries to go with the 50 pieces of chicken. We had to go back through the drive through which was not so bad except the employee was snarky. Katie, the manager, was very nice and gave us fries on them so I gave them 3 stars. It's cheap, very unhealthy food, but the kids like it. Would be nice if they liked their customers. Would have given them 1 Star had it not been for Katie.

Kafor O.

Yelp
Really? They asked if I'd like ketchup. "No thank you, but may I have an extra sauce? A friend said it's really good". That'll be an extra .40¢. (Maybe that's how they pay for all that styrofoam) it seriously was placed in a SEPARATE styrofoam container!!! Chicken 3 piece is already $6.93 (b4 tax) the sauce was just OK. Nothing "special". Chicken strips were not OK. Very greasy outside and dry inside. Think I prefer Bushes Chicken. Maybe I should have taken the ketchup and mixed in the free Bush's spice pack The line next door @ Taco Bell was long. No one in line here. Guess I now know why
