After walking around for what felt like hours trying to find a place to eat, and with no luck, I wound up here. Raising Cane's is not my favorite when it comes to fast food, but in a pinch, it'll do. This place looks fairly new, and from the reviews that appears to be so.
The space is huge when compared to other fast food setups nearby. It is bright, but that is where much of the luster falls away. Inside, with it being so busy, there isn't much cleaning going on. Also, with them pumping the music into the space, it is almost nearly impossible to hear anything, including when they call your name for your order.
I ordered the three finger combo. I figured it would be fast and I could be on my way. However, when it came to ordering it took forever. There is a singular touchscreen for ordering. But if you get people that don't know how to use a touchscreen, you have to stand in line and wait to order.
Service here, while ordering, was horrendous. There is no line, it's just people standing around and hoping that they might be next. Then you have the employees behind the line that either straight up ignore you, or would rather have a conversation with their coworkers. When I finally got to order, it was like I was shouting over the music and having to repeat myself numerous times. Only to have to tell the employee several times before my order was right. Once that was done, I went over to get my drink. This was another mess of an area. No ice was coming out of the machines which doesn't make for a pleasant, cool drink.
Then I sat around and waited nearly fifteen minutes for my order to be ready. I almost didn't hear it be called with the music again blaring throughout the space. While sitting here I got to noticing a lot about the space. This place has multiple entrances, but only one that is really functional. That one entrance every single person has to come and go through. Stationed hear the door is security for hire.
Once my food was ready, I made my way outside and back to my hotel room for the night. There is nothing special about this to me. It is chicken and every fast food chain has their take on it. I wasn't impressed by any of it. Most of it was lukewarm...which kind of matched the lukewarm drink I had.
