Parker McCollum Is Working a Shift at Raising Cane’s in Conroe | Eater Houston

"At the Conroe location on 2127 W. Davis St., country singer Parker McCollum — a Conroe native and 2023 Rodeo Houston headliner — will pick up a cashier shift from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 27, working both the drive-thru and counter. During the hour he will serve ONE LOVE fried chicken strip meals and the restaurant will give away 20 free Rodeo Houston tickets to customers. We were here on a Sunday after our church service. The food was great though the fries always seem to need a lot of salt. We were there with our 4 kids and the food was polished off! There was a young guy cleaning tables and he was fabulous! Giving the tables and bench seating thorough spray and wipe down. Sundays are high traffic days and he was keeping up and keeping things pleasant for each group looking for clean tables (without having to do their own greasy wipe down with a couple of napkins😬). Go Canes team!

After calling to discuss my discrepancy with the manager, I was hung up on. The chicken in each basket is soggy from sitting. There's pieces of just broken off from the fryer. Each piece of chicken is a different color tone and the most minute piece of chicken ever seen in my life. This was my go-to place all the time but I am for from this point forward reconsidering other options. Note , I just picked my order up 7 minutes from the place of the order.

The atmosphere is always upbeat and staff is very good with addressing all your needs and requests. Great on the leadership of reinforcing good work ethics. It shows in their customer service and promptness.

First time eating here , since I was visiting from Washington State and heard a lot about this restaurant came in with my daughters, they seemed busy for a thursday night but service was fast food look fresh out the fryer and tasted really good The meal also came with a piece of bread that was delicious friendly staff and fast service , nice portions come down and try it for your self !

The chicken was fresh, nice, hot and crispy. The 3 piece chicken meal comes with a slice of bread, fries and 3 descent sized chicken strips which filled me up. My 13 yr old daughter could only finish 2 pieces. It's very filling and yummy

The food are so tiny now, used to take me hours to finish a box, now it took me 10 minutes. The tenders looked like nuggets and were very dry, the portion of fries looks like a handle from small hands. The toast was the usual perfect. And they forgot my sauce. Won't come here again.
