I had an interview with Canes (on 2 N Michigan Ave) about a month and a half ago and was offered a position, which was great. However, my experience with their follow-up process has been incredibly frustrating. Despite multiple attempts to check on the status of my background check, I’ve been met with rudeness and unprofessionalism from the staff. To make matters worse, I overheard one of their team members speaking dismissively about my attempts to follow up, because she’s unprofessional and doesn’t know how to put a phone on hold. Apparently, in her words the GM (Nigel or Amari) doesn't talk to anyone after being offered employment, they just don’t care. So, we are just interviewing for false hope. I’m really disappointed with the way this has been handled and hope they improve their communication and customer service. But, don’t worry Canes on 2 N Michigan Ave, you won’t be hearing from me anymore unless it’s through here, your corporate email, or LinkedIn which I will be making sure to inform everyone on the poor service you provide for potential employees, and customers too, because I’m never eating here again, I don’t like my chicken served with attitude.
