Closest one to us Washingtonians is this one in Portland. Seems like Oregon has several restaurants that have not made it to Washington--this leads to long lines at places like this. We arrived just before they opened and there were already at least 15 people in line. The line did move fast though.
We chose a seat. Not sure how long this place has been here, but seems to be clean...but then again, it had just opened for the day.
I have seen this place all over Texas, but have never stopped in. My friend wanted to get the Post Malone collectors cups, so we made the drive to Portland on a Sunday morning.
We each went with the Box Combo--4 fried chicken strips, fries (crinkle cut), a little cup of coleslaw, a piece of Texas toast with a drink for under $12.
The meals didn't take long to be prepared and came out hot and fresh. The fries were a little over salted, and the toast could have been a little more toasted...but the chicken was good. The sauce that it came with wasn't half bad. The coleslaw was decent. Pretty tasty meal...better than most other fast food places serving chicken strips. I also like that they have both sweet and unsweetened tea so that you can adjust it to your preference.
It may not be worth the drive alone, but you can make a day trip of it since it is in the middle of downtown in a shopping center with plenty of parks and farmers markets to check out in the area.
Don't forget to ask for a "Caniac" card and register it online to participate in their loyalty program. Unlike most places, you have to get a physical card from the restaurant and register it online to participate.
