Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers

I absolutely love the new design at this Raising Cane’s in The Woodlands! The place looks so fresh, modern, and welcoming — bright lighting, clean lines, and cozy seating make it a great spot to sit down and enjoy a meal. You can tell they put real thought into the remodel. Cane’s vibe feels upgraded and stylish. The staff were friendly as always, and the whole place just gives off great energy. Well done, Cane’s — the new look is amazing!

Great service, hot food, and will be back. This is why I LOVE CANES ❤️ Side note one of my tenders was under half size of all the others. I purchased the "CANIAC" Combo - 6 tenders.

Raising Cane’s never disappoints. The chicken is always hot, crispy, and perfectly seasoned, and the fries are fresh every time. The coleslaw is simple but tasty, and the Texas toast is the perfect side to go with everything. Their lemonade is hands down one of the best around. Every visit is quick, friendly, and consistently great. This location really knows how to do it right.

This was our first time at Raising Cane’s. Get it hot and it’s awesome. Special mention goes to very special young man, Christian. When I approached the door he greeted us and opened the door as I was in a transport chair. When the food was ready, he also brought it to our table. Management has made a good choice by hiring people like Christian and other young people at the location. Congratulations!

so asking for no toast and extra fries means that they are just not gonna give you the toast and the same amount of fries, so i payed full price for my meal, but didn’t get all of my meal. cool.

Update: Decided to give Canes another chance from my last post. Seems like the portion is getting worse. Took a photo of my order so you can see the portion of food for the price we pay. Service is great but food is a rip off I used to be satisfied with Raising Cane's, although they are pricey. But the past couple of visits their chicken fingers have gotten smaller. Their portion of fries has also gotten less. Feels like you are getting ripped off paying for a combo but getting a kids meal. Seems to be a franchise decision because the other locations my teens go to are serving the same size and portion.

Food here is always hot and fresh. Ordering extra stuff like an extra strip and sauce. I always receive it when arriving home to eat. The staff never forgets my extras. Thank you!

As the story goes , there were good times and bad times. The good: Good whole long chicken pieces, not those lousy nuggets from mcD's or chic fe-lay. The bread was good as well and the accompanying sauce was excellent. Basically they serve good food here. And the service staff was very pleasant and helpful. The not so good. The floor is slick and oily The pop machine needs some work. The whole interior needs a through cleaning. The booths as well as the interior needs an entire remodeling. Would I come back. Probably only if I did drive through only.

Raisin Canes is my guilty pleasure. Their cane sauce is so amazing and goes great with the tenders (and I also love it on the fries and the texas toast). Raisin Canes always seems pretty consistent location to location to me and this one is no different. Good clean place.

We've become regulars at Raising Cane's, and it's easy to see why. Their chicken fingers are consistently amazing--tender, juicy, and perfectly breaded every time. The Cane's Sauce is a game-changer, adding that extra flavor kick. We also love the crinkle-cut fries and buttery Texas toast. The service is always quick and friendly, making for a pleasant experience. The lighting and atmosphere are casual and comfortable, perfect for a laid-back meal. If you're a chicken finger aficionado, Raising Cane's is definitely the place to go! Oh my 9 year old daughter will eat 3 of the Texas Toasts back to back.

It was a very bad choice to visit that place. I placed an order worth $60.00 but one toast was missing because the person who took the order didn't enter it correctly. Upon asking for the manager's presence, he simply said I had to pay for the missing toast without showing any concern and with a very disinterested expression on his face. It's important for them to understand that they should just fix their mistakes. I definitely won't be returning.

Honestly the worst customer service. The woman at the drive through asked me if my name was "..." I stated no my names Melissa and her response was "same sh*t" regardless of how she may feel that's probably not the most appropriate thing to say to a customer

First i give it 1 star one the food. Reason being is when you order chicken you expect to get raising canes sauce with the chicken. So Uber eats and door dash do not deliver but favor does. But they don't have the tailgate orders on the 25 piece chicken strips for 39.99. So how I have always ordered through favor is I buy 22 individual chicken strips for 40.77 long story short I have always done this and got raising canes sauce with it be4. But this time no sauce. It's funny because if you go to Hartz chicken, McDonald's Jack-in-the-Box, sonic, chick fill a, kfc and order individual chicken or chicken strips they offer you sauce no matter what. But not this time. Instead I paid more for the chicken and got less chicken then a 25 piece tailgate order with no sauce. Both my kids are crying upset they don't want to eat the chicken now. the MAIN REASON WHY PEOPLE ORDER RAISING CANES is for the SPECIAL sauce. So I call and I was like I just ordered 22 chicken strips and there was NO Sauce. The gentleman that I spoke to told me oh since you didn't order the tailgate order you don't get sauce. And that I have to pay for sauce separately. Which like I said I have ordered the same thing be4 and got sauce. So I was like so your telling me if people order extra chicken they won't get extra sauce for there chicken? The guy says you are correct. I was like well that's bull crap and not right but whatever. Thanks for wasting my money. My kids are refusing to eat the chicken without sauce so it's now all in the trash. I just don't understand because no matter what restaurant fast food place you go to they always offer you sauce, even if you order individual chicken strips

First, the chicken was tasteless and some parts in the inside there was some pink. Secondly, the place could use a bit of sweeping. At least, the service was good and quick.

I always have the box combo when I come to canes and it doesn't matter the location the consistency is the same good crispy chicken tenders with their secret cane sauce which is amazingly good that others try to replicate but fail to do so, the fries are always good hot and fresh and perfectly seasoned. I'm not into coleslaw so I always double my toast. I wish cane's would give you extra sauce because sometimes one is not enough for all that tender goodness, canes should start doubling sauces for each combo instead of charging. also it be nice if another side item can be added to menu, although the menu is small another item wouldn't hurt like a mac n cheese maybe even a salad perhaps. overall I enjoy canes.

We love Raising Canes. Everyone is so friendly everytime we come through the drive thru and the food is always piping hot and fresh. It has been a comfort food for us since COVID and for our daughter. This is the only restaurant where she will literally eat ALL of her chicken tenders and ask for more. This is a local favorite for us and we will remain customers for life.

Disappointed. I have always been a huge fan of raising canes. But this order was ridiculous. The "tenders" are slightly larger than nuggets. If you Had some smaller than normal tenders, you should have added extra to the order. Not quality canes at all. They knew better and still tried it today.

The time I've come in here, I had good customer service. Love the atmosphere and how all the young workers get along and can see that work well as a team. Loved how a employee was going in to work and another employee yelled Helloo welcome to work!! Wow such good positivity. Love this type of places. Food is always great too!

Roaches and rats observed in the daylight...I've gone by this location many times in the past and never noticed anything. However, it's usually dark and I'm in a hurry to get back home. About three weeks ago, I went by twice during the day (for a friend at the nearby hospital and for myself later) and was shocked. While in the driveway for the first trip, something moving around caught my eye near the back door. I stared for a while and when it began moving again, I realized that it was a fairly large rat (NOT a mouse). I calmed myself by saying that it wasn't inside and that maybe it was running from the heat. Got the food and left. A few hours later, I went back for myself. Still thinking that maybe it was a crazy happenstance kinda thing. As I handed the first window my money, a live German roach (the small ones) was hanging out on the side of the sliding window, waiting to make its entrance! I left. Idc how hungry I am in the future. Those two signs did me in!!!! It was broad daylight in a well trafficked drive thru. If critters will come out with all that movement, what is going on inside!? Definitely needs to be checked by the health department.

Let's start off with the essential, the food like in all Locations is the same, great fast food chicken, well presented and nicely arranged in our plates. The restaurant itself was somewhat clean. The bathroom was acceptable and the tables were ok, some still had crumbs from the last visitors but nothing major. The staff is what really didn't shine for the location. I could have easily given 4 stars if the staff had been friendly at all, very what do you want and here you go type of situation.

Service here could be more efficient. Drive thru snakes around making it hard to park and in park. That same line is experienced in the restraint as well. Food is consistent.

Absolutely horrible. Fries completely undercooked total waste of money. And the chicken fingers are smaller than the ketchup packets. Totally pathetic. I'd say I paid $9 for about 1/3 of what I should've gotten. DO NOT GO HERE

Grabbed a 25pc tailgate pack, tray of fries, and toast. Everything tasted great. They cooked it fresh and even gave a couple extra tenders...maybe by mistake, but we're not complaining.

This raising canes is no different than any other... so in other words, Amazing! The service has always been good and speedy but they are sticklers for condiments. Especially the liquid gold aka canes sauce. If you're in the mood for chicken, skip the lines at chick fil a and come over to canes. It's always served hot!

Greatest fried chicken in Texas! The signature sauce is so freaking amazing the fries could be better...

For fast food, Cane's is above average, this store is consistent w others we have visited. The chicken is tender and the sauce provided is very tasty. The location is maintained considering the high volumes on Black Friday.

I got a box combo and caniac combo... I got screwed on my caniac with only four strips and one was the size of my pinky. Should have taken a picture but it ..was so small went down the hatch before I thought about taking a photo of it.. also the coleslaw is very sketchy ..

I love me some Canes!!! This is the second time that I've eaten at the research location. I asked for my chicken to be extra crispy well done but for some reason the chicken just taste like rubber. I normally eat at the Conroe location and the Rayford location and Never had a problem.

I always go to this Cane's and have never had a problem with the food but this time as I bit into my last chicken finger I noticed a huge brown spot and immediately spit it out. Disgusting and made me lose my appetite. I will not be returning.

My boyfriend is a human garbage disposal, he is always hungry. This was his favorite restaurant in the whole world, until visiting THIS specific establishment. He rarely complains and never gets frustrated. But every time he says he's going to this canes, I know we're gonna fight the rest of the day. They ALWAYS mess up his order. You would think that kids in The Woodlands would be smart, no. They are genuinely the most idiotic adults who do not know how to count TWO canes sauces and put them in the box. He pays extra every time, just to end up having to eat half his chicken DRY AF. They ALWAYS close early, I would hope it would be so they can go to night school and learn how to count to TWO.

Chicken, chicken, and more chicken. The variation in the combos is the number of chicken tenders-- and whether or not you want coleslaw. You come to Cane's for chicken. Pretty boring chicken, too, as the favor really comes from their sauce. What makes it above average in the rating is the quality and consistency. Raising Cane's dishes out crispy, juicy, nice-sized chicken strips and fresh crinkle fries every single time. Do you self a favor and pay for the extra dipping sauce, though, or you will be disappointed.

there should be a world record for how often they give away people's food. and i have only ever had that happen here. so busy trying to get people out of the drive thru they can't keep track of the cars. this isn't normal, figure it out

Wow, stopped in at Raising Cane's for the first time and was kinda disappointed. The service was quick and the food was ok but the place seemed dirty! Every trash can was over flowing, the tables had not been wiped down, and the woman's bathroom had no toilet paper. Also, out of the three kids meals I ordered, two were missing a prize. Next time, we will stick with Chic Fil A.

It is amazing and very good I would highly recommend that you get canes chicken fingers the sauce and the bread is really good and the chicken fingers are excellent

This place rocks. They have a small menu and do it very well. The staff is super friendly and responsive to requests.

I'm a Lousiana girl so maybe I'm biased, but if you have to grab fast food, you can't get better than Cane's. Plus the staff members are all such kind, happy people who seem to actually enjoy their job. Fresh chicken and fries cooked to order. And sinfully sweet tea. Also the perfect grab-and-go catering solution for tailgate parties, teen sleepovers, etc.

Staff does not listen to customers. The environment is careless from orders given out incorrectly to hair inside to go containers with customers food.

I walked into this restaurant and it reeked of strong cat piss, yes I said that right! I then continued to order my food like a normal customer would, and omg I was FORCED to sit out side, again you heard me right.

Well, the chicken was OK, not great. Kind of bland, if you ask me. Seems like these folks are hoping you'll use the sauce to add the flavor to the chicken, but if you're not a fan of spiced up mayonnaise, then you're not going to find the flavor. Also, the fries were pretty good, but honestly we got the leavin's or something. Just a lot of little gibbles. Lastly, it looked like a horde of unsupervised toddlers ransacked the place, given all the bits, chunks, and parts laying on the floor of the dining room. The girl was sweeping the place, but they'd given her a tiny broom and no real training on how to sweep. Felt sorry for the little lady. I won't tell you to avoid the place, and would return if that was where a friend wanted to eat, but I'm not going to go out of my way to go back either.

Food as always is what I stop for, always great. (Not busy when we pulled in.)That being said, check your drive thru order. Murphy's law.. when you get comfortable again that the order is correct, it isn't. This time it was an entire meal missing. Management, please have an internal discussion about how important it is to verify the order is complete before you hand it out to the customer. Your 5 seconds, took me 15 minutes.

If you're interested in the greatest chicken fingers in existence, this isn't quite the place. Raising Cane's is known for their delicious sauce and they have great toast to back it up, but the chicken falls short of the greatness it touts. People rant and rave about how Cane's has some of the greatest chicken they've ever had, but it's never lived up to that kind of hype. Their chicken is average, where it's juicy enough to not feel dry in your mouth, and the breading is somewhat crunchy but has a tendency to fall off. Most of the time I end up at Cane's, it's usually because I crave the sauce. The chicken is great in it, and the toast is even better. But sauce can only get you so far. As I mention in my tip, it's not to difficult to recreate it yourself. I've gotten fried chicken to go at other places and used my homemade Cane's sauce for some of the greatest fast food meals of my (now shorter) life. Feel free to see for yourself if it lives up to the hype, but chances are it probably won't.

Do not like being charged extra for sauces and refills on lemonade. Seems very petty. Other chicken places don't charge extra for sauces and refills on lemonade.

What comes in a tiny cup, goes great with chicken strips, and you can only buy at Raising Cane's? Yummy Cane's Sauce! While there are many places where you can order chicken strips, this place is one of the best. Nestled in The Woodlands in the former Backyard Burger Restaurant, this location has indoor AND outdoor seating. The chicken is top notch -- that's all they make here, with the exception of fries, cole slaw, and toast. We order our chicken extra crispy, which goes perfectly with the Cane's sauce. You can also order fries the same way. In addition to Cane's Sauce, they have honey mustard, although it is a little runny/thin. When you order, make sure you order an extra piece or two of Texas Toast. If you live near - check it out!

Came here not expecting anything much out of a fast food joint, but boy was I surprised. I had the box combo, comes with a drink, fries, and three tenders/strips/pieces of chicken for a what I thought was a good price. After eating the perfectly flaked all white meat quality chicken, I was IN LOVE!!!

In Aggieland, two chicken finger places dominate: Layne's and Raising Cane's. Layne's is a local and historic institution in College Station, whereas Raising Cane's is from Louisiana. They essentially sell the same thing, with slightly different packaging and sides, but they have developed quite the opposing fan groups. Most people in College Station adhere adamantly to Layne's while some few people feel brave enough to say they like Raising Cane's better. Having always merely heard about the rivalry and only had Layne's so far, I had been curious to try Raising Cane's and see for myself. I ordered the biggest combo meal, which included 6 fingers, wavy fries, one slice of bread, two Cane's sauces, coleslaw and a drink (~$10). The girl at the register misunderstood me and thought I wanted an extra Honey Mustard on the side, so charge me another 25 cents, bringing up the price after tax to ~$11. I thought this was overpriced for chicken fingers, but then brushed it off. Drinks: The sweet tea was standard. I mixed half sweet, half unsweet, and it was still rather sweet. It was nice that the tea was cold. They even have Fanta and Hi-C here but other than, standard stuff. Sides: soft wavy fries. Standard cafeteria stuff. Really oily. Bread was soft and had some sesame seeds on top, shaped nice, but lacked any flavor and did not add to the meal (other than tasteless, textureless, empty carbs). Coleslaw was all right; kind of like Sauce: the standard sauce that comes with the combo leaned too much on the mayonnaise side and lacked flavor. I admit I was first put off by the heavy black pepper taste in Layne's sauce but that was only because I didn't expect it. Thinking back now, I think I would prefer Layne's sauce. Also, the honey mustard was not good. Not worth the extra 25cents. Wait to get honey mustard from Chick Fil'A. Chicken fingers: I did like these chicken fingers. They were tender and tasted good on their own. I admit I have not had Layne's in a long time

Ate lunch here. The chicken was great but the restaurant was so dirty I did not enjoy eating there at all. There was literally crumbs all over the tables, chairs, and floors. Also everything seemed to be very sticky. Probably won't be back.

Today I visited RC for the first time. Their claim to fame is the chicken finger vs the chicken sandwich. They have meals that include a 3-strip, 4-strip, and 6-strip box lunch and a 3-strip sandwich. The box lunch includes strips, toast, fries, and dipping sauce. The strips are average at best. I had to laugh (to myself) about one employee who was obviously an ex-Chick-Fil-A because every time I said, "Thank you", he replied with, "My pleasure." I was there at the peak lunch time and they they were steadily busy. It took a while to get my food. Although I'm saying they were busy, they were no where close to being as busy as Chick-Fil-A is at peak times yet they were much slower. I would like to suggest that they move one employee to the dining room that can constantly clean tables and check on their customers. Extra customer service in this place could do wonders. While I know the food is fresh and tasty, there is no clear lines oe consistency here. The line for drive thru at lunch time is out to the streets. I would suggest doubling up of lanes on drive thru. Food is worth the hassle; I can see why this place is very popular. Prices are reasonable for the large portions

It's crack! Pure crack deliciousness. Love the caniac combo. Obviously the sauce is amazing and you can't stop dipping everything in it. No real complaints apart from they should gimmie more sauce! Lol. Will be back with friends.

Craving some good chickin'. I love these guys.... And to be honest I really do not like Chicken Fingers... ever! I could eat Canes until I pop. The recipe is just wonderful - the sauce is addictive and the Tea is southern but the fries are never crispy.... Why is that on the fries? But then again I didn't come for the fries.

Went to this Cane's. Walked in and there were no customers in the lobby but the tables, every table, was filthy. Baskets, sauce, French fries, cups, every table, messy. I said wow! Looks like you guys have been slammed. And the gentleman taking my order said no not really. Tells me that this location maybe a little nasty, just saying.

Came here at 10:24 at night. There was one small group ahead of us. We placed our order and went to get drinks. The floor at the drink station was extremely sticky. Then we went over to the dining are and 1/2 the tables were filthy. With my group and the other group the number of customers and the employees working were the same. There was plenty of socializing in the back but no one to clean the dining area (or the bathroom apparently). 20 minutes after we ordered they still had not made our food. Not a good experience. When we finally got our order the food was hot and decent. This place needs some leadership. If you do come to this location I recommend the drive through.

Why do I keep paying extra for an extra side of canes sauce when 90% of the time it doesn't get put in the bag. I should know better at this point and check my bag before pulling away but it's only this location. Frustrating! Food is still great but 1 thing of sauce just isn't enough!
