Alright, so I finally made it to Raising Cane’s in Stockton, and I gotta say—it did not disappoint. Even though it was packed, the service was on point. The staff was super friendly and greeted us as soon as we walked in, which made the whole experience feel really welcoming. I went with the chicken sandwich, and it was pretty solid. The chicken was crispy, juicy, and had that signature Cane’s flavor, but I won’t lie—it was a bit of a struggle keeping it from sliding out of the bun. Still, totally worth it. And let’s be real, Cane’s sauce makes everything better. The restaurant itself was really clean, which I always appreciate, and even with the crowd, our food came out crazy fast. Major bonus points for efficiency. Overall, if you’re craving some quality chicken with fast service and good vibes, this Raising Cane’s is definitely worth a stop. Would 100% go back.

Google
I was suprised that there chicken sandwich would be great. Don't knock it till you try it! There tender are okay wouldnt recommended there ice tea. Ice tea bad for your liver with 80% sugar. 45 cents for extra cane sauce is a scam.

Amanda Perez

Google
I've had Raising Canes in Southern CA. It was delicious. After visiting this particular one, I was extremely disappointed. I actually threw up after. The coleslaw tasted plain. The chicken tasted as if it were cooked in old oil. The cane sauce was off. The bathrooms were a mess. The place was a mess. I definitely wouldn't come back to this location.

Google
Chicken really lacks flavor is it so bland and the sauce not only needs enhancement but it doesn’t make the chicken that much better. Canes needs to work on adding more seasoning to the chicken and even as years gone by the chicken tenders used to be larger, inflation is real. Only remotely good thing is the crinkle fries which are basically ones you can buy frozen at stores. Honorable mention is the sweet tea it was sweet as it should be unlike chic fil a where sometimes it’s watered down.

Google
This location is always reliable! The food always tastes the same (delicious) and they always get my order right! Even despite the heavy traffic making it difficult to hear in the drive thru. I love their box combo with an extra texas toast! It's the perfect amount of food! Their sauce is one of a kind and a must try! If you haven't had Cane's chicken....what are you waiting for? 😜

Google
I honestly have no idea how this place stays busy. I went there once, and I have NEVER had such blah-tasting chicken strips in my life! Absolutely no flavor! For me, a bag of generic chicken nuggets from the grocery store would be a better choice. Fries and bread were almost as bland. You would think dipping sauce would save the day, but it didn't. I've had better lemonade at Quik Stop. And to top it off, they would be over-priced, even if their food was good! I'm never going back, but surprisingly, many do.

Google
This Raising Cane’s is solid overall—consistent service and the same quality chicken you’d expect across all locations. The main issue is the drink station; they don’t seem to check it often. I’ve had multiple visits where the root beer or other sodas had no flavor or were completely flat. Still, it’s a reliable spot for a quick chicken fix.

I just left about 20 minutes ago. Just wanted to give 2 thumbs up to the asian girl working the drive-thru tonight. It's 1am and you had the best energy and provided service with a smile. Kudos!!

Yelp
6/1/25 - Time sure goes by fast!!! I remember doing a review of Cane's but did not know it was almost the end of 2023 when I submitted it. Last night I had to take a relative to ER at St. Joseph's. Of course we did not know how long we wound be there and it's a Saturday evening. Luckily she was seen after a two hour wait which is good for ER on a Saturday night. It was almost midnight and none of us had eaten even family members we left at home. I called and asked my granddaughter if she thought everyone would want Cane's and they all said "yes, in a hurry!!!" I don't know ‍ how it happened but I ordered three chicken sandwiches and gave my drink order for those and then I ordered a three-piece chicken fingers with a drink. Our total was $38.01, the lady who took our order said that we could pay up front, so once we got there, another lady came for our payment. Then, this is where it fell apart!!! The young lady couldn't EVEN pronounce my name so she went into the order, two chicken sandwiches and one three piece chicken. She also handed our drinks (3) to me. I said, " We are missing a chicken sandwich combo with sweet tea!" She went back to check our order. Something was also going wrong with the order next to us, but she came to our window and asked us for an additional $12.00+!!!! I felt that it was wrong for them to ask for the additional money when she got our orders wrong and we had waited a while before we were able to pay the initial $38.01; like I said something had went wrong in the line next to ours. So after taking the additional money she asked me to drive around front and someone would bring me my order. It was my relatives first time going to Cane's and it did not leave a good impression. When we got home she was impressed with her meal, my brother said "No, Cane's didn't show him anything!!" The rest of us enjoyed our food. My sister-in-law still had half a sandwich left over from last night, she said that it was a lot of chicken in that sandwich and it was. I like their chicken sandwiches because they are hearty and have a lot of chicken, it's a REAL chicken sandwich not like McDonald's or Wendy's. My French fries were not hot by the time we made it home but were still warm enough to enjoy. I will be back for another chicken sandwich combo. We went through the drive-thru so I cannot say anything about the inside. But the people taking the orders should be more attentive when taking orders.

Yelp
I'm not sure why this place has such a low rating. I ordered 50 chicken strips, 20 slices of bread and a combo for the kids to eat on the way home. The food was ready and fresh when we picked it up. The restaurant was clean and the food was good. It is a little pricey but no more than any other fast food these days. The bathrooms were clean and the staff was nice and friendly. I'd eat here again for sure

Michael M.

Yelp
Very good. Though I do not see the hype. It is delicious just not what they hype was all out to be. Just simple, delicious chicken.

Yelp
We stopped here on our way home from Sacramento. The drive thru did take about 15-20 minutes but it was fairly busy. I went inside to use the restroom and was kindly greeted by a crew member. Inside was busy and fairly noisy. The bathroom was clean and I loved that each stall is fully private. We ordered 2 combos and the chicken and fries were super fresh. They had definitely just been made. Overall we had a good experience!

America G.

Yelp
No fries, no coleslaw, no coke, no sprite, no hot sauce. we weren't told there were no fries til AFTER we ordered. false advertisement, we should have known WHAT we are getting before ORDERING.
google avatar

Troy R.

Yelp
We have another case of finger size inflation. Average weight of 45.1 grams!! The fingers are supposed to weigh 55 grams each! This is a drop of 18 percent! I got 18 percent less chicken than i was supposed to! It was served quickly and efficiently but the size of the fingers continues to go down while the price stays the same!!! Wtf!!
google avatar

Darian H.

Yelp
There open really late so it can be a last minute thing. Not to pricey portions are ok

Yelp
Raising Canes was pretty good to the point I went semi-frequently but in these last few months, the quality has gotten terrible. I'm not sure what happened - whether there has been changes in management or the way the prepare food. The food is incredibly oily to the point there is literally a pool of oil underneath. It's not as crispy anymore and falls apart easily. It's so wet and oily that it's gross. Not tasty. I feel sick every time I eat here and never finish my food. It's to the point I don't even go here anymore unless I am out of town. I'll give this location a try to see if it has changed but it still the same and is so nasty. Very disappointed in this location. I never have this problem with other locations. Maybe I'll give the Lodi location a try next time. I like that there is outdoor seating and it's cute inside. The service and atmosphere is good but not good enough to come here again. One tip I would give if you eat Raising Canes in general is asking for the toast buttered on both sides and it makes it more toasted

Yelp
I love Raising Cane's, especially their adorable mascot... I've been to so many locations but this Stockton is the worst. We ordered 4 of the Caniac combo which comes with 6 chicken fingers, 2 sauces, texas toast, coleslaw and a large fountain drink. My qualm is the size of the chicken fingers. They are so soggy and tiny compared to the other Cane's I have been to. I will never return to this location again for that very reason. Stockton Raising Cane... Do better! Don't swindle your customers of the Raising Cane quality by giving them super tiny pieces of chicken. Your customers deserve better...

Jessica S.

Yelp
They never fail to get our orders wrong, at other canes they repeat back our orders expect this one and each time something is missing or they add sauce when we ask them not too. They also always charge us a different price each time we're in here and i always order the same thing each time. They need to be trained better and have better attitude because when i ask them to correct they, they roll their eyes or make it seem like the order is not wrong. If i could i would give it no stars

Yelp
Not a lot to review as the Menu is very short. Chicken strip combo if you like it, chicken sandwich if you don't. It's not great not bad, just meh. My take, if you're only doing one thing, it better be great. It's not. To the fries, soggy crinkle cuts. The pluses, good crew, clean place.
google avatar

Cheryl G.

Yelp
First time trying Raising Canes. It's your basic chicken fingers with a bread, coleslaw and crinkle cut fries. Came to this location and there wasn't a line. Had the four piece meal plus two drinks = $16 The sauce for me isn't that spectacular but I can see why people like it. To me it's like a Smokey thousand Island. Crinkle cut fries were kind of soggy.

Yelp
Went inside to order takeout. Lines for car service very busy. Very friendly and fast service inside.

Yelp
OH MY GOD canes ignore the haters. they do not know what theyre saying. i just ate the most back arching mouth slobbering hair twirling chicken i have and will have in my life. If you close, I may end it. guys u dont know canes like i know canes. servers are cool too. fantastic ambiance i feel like im a real white person.

Yelp
Pretty disappointed to write this review because the employee at the drive through was very nice. I also had spent a good amount of money getting a 4 and 6 piece meal, which is not at all cheap. Besides this, the drive through line was super long versus the restaurant inside being empty. Nothing to say about the chicken but the fries seemed undercooked. I had also paid for an extra sauce but they didn't give me one. There was no way I was going to turn around because I was already running late on my road trip. Just sad that I paid for something and didn't even get it. Make sure to double checked your order especially if you're in the drive through because it's easy to get in a rush. If I had ordered inside I definitely would've double checked my order.

Yelp
This place always has such a long line so I've avoided it for a while but one day decided to see what all the hype was about. Customer service was great! The cashier was very friendly and very fast at his job. The food was just whatever.... It almost seemed like the chicken wasn't cooked long enough but just cooked enough to be cooked if that makes sense. I was hoping it would be more crispy, not sure if it was supposed to be like that? It just seemed like it was missing more oomph. I don't even remember what the fries were like which means they were forgettable. I had sweet tea mixed with the unsweetened tea which was super tasty but also felt like diabetes in a cup. Personally I prefer Church's chicken.

Yelp
I occasionally visit Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers to get The Box Combo that comes with 4 Chicken Fingers, Crinkle-Cut Fries, one Cane's sauce, one Texas Toast, one side of Coleslaw, and a drink. I am not a fan of the coleslaw, so I opt for either another Texas Toast or Cane's sauce. I pair the meal with a Hi-C Fruit Punch. The chicken is not seasoned, so the Cane's sauce definitely carries the entire meal. The sauce itself is delicious. The food sometimes comes out piping hot, but not always. The Crinkle-Cut Fries are also hit-or-miss. The Texas Toast is consistently good. The customer service is friendly. The workers are typically quick with getting customers in and out. Raising Cane's has some inconsistencies with the food preparation. However, it is a decent fast-food restaurant. I'll still come here from time to time.

Yelp
We came in on Sunday night at 7:19 pm we use the drive thru, we pulled up the second window we gave the girl who was outside $60 since our told was $41.21 and she DID NOT give us the change back we pulled in to the parking a lot and when we went inside to ask for our change they DID NOT give us the money. The girl outside was busy chatting with her coworker do better.

Yelp
I came here with my mother inlaw as a couple of friends recommended it. We got two box combos with four chicken tenders. We were pleasantly surprised by the bread, very buttery. The chicken and fries were hot. Honestly, I didnt get the hype for the sauce as it tasted like ketchup when i came. We tried the Sprite, and it was awful. It tasted like sewer water. When we came it was very busy and servers were slow. A lot of people were complaining about napkins and the man sitting by me was talking about how there were no napkins. Nobody was refilling the napkins.

jasmine j.

Yelp
I just got home from getting canes on 02/15 at 12:46 am. I bit into a chicken tender and got an awful taste in my mouth just to find some random green thing in it. I'm beyond livid. This is disturbing and I'm disgusted. Would like my $20 back for my food. Also why ask if we want ketchup at the speaker of the drive thru and when we say yes you don't put any in the bag?
google avatar

David R.

Yelp
PROS: Food is always good. Chicken is always tender. Service is always good no problem at all Ambiance sports like deco and it's absolutely great. Cleaned and the bathroom is cleaned CONS: the sauce. It's so good why not give it free to the customers. There should be no additional charge when you ask for more or at least do give 2 sauce cups per order. 3 STARS FOR BEING GREEDY ON THE SAUCE!

Alex S.

Yelp
The inside smelled foul, not too sure what that was about. We ordered a 50pc tailgate with toast, fries, and sweet tea/lemonade. Fifteen minutes later the order was ready but sitting on the other side of the counter, we waited twenty more minutes for them to finally call it out. The worst part is we had to wait fifteen more minutes for them to give us the tea and lemonade. From our observations the crew looked inexperienced and lost, there was little to no one taking initiative. On top of that there was a lack of leadership.

Yelp
I was excited to have a Raising Cane's in Northern California. Today was my first opportunity to visit this establishment. From the other restaurants I've been to, I know that Cane's can get very busy but I took a chance hoping that fast food would be fast. I was wrong. When I walked in, the place looked clean and new. There was no one in front of me but it still took 5 minutes for anyone to recognize I was there and take my order. I ordered the standard four piece chicken finger meal. I ordered it at 5:11 p.m. and was not given my food until 5:28 p.m. Again I know these places get busy but there were eight visible employees running around filling orders but no one was minding the front. And those other orders must have been prioritized over mine since it took 17 minutes to be prepared. The saving grace was that my food was hot but the service at this place is sorely disappointing. The gal that took my order handed me my food and apologized for the wait. I've been to the same restaurant in different cities that had lines of cars outside and mines of people inside waiting to order that was faster than this. There's definitely an opportunity for improvement.

Vanessa R.

Yelp
They don't have fries. At this point just close the store for the night. How are we paying $12 for just pure bread and and chicken. One piece of bread to replace handfuls of fries. Terrible food service. They forgot our extra sauce too.

Aliyah S.

Yelp
This is the worst canes I have ever been to. Their food is definitely not up to par at all. I've asked numerous times for extra crispy chicken and fries and they have never delivered my simple request. I have a friend who ate here once and who had severe food poisoning. All three of her and her friends had it coming out both ways for a day or two. I do not recommend going here at all.

Yelp
this place is fucking bomb i be fuckin up that caniac combo!!!! if im able to give more than 5 stars i would. YES IM RIDING CANES SO HARD!!!!
google avatar

Emily L.

Yelp
Despite the ok reviews, I had a good experience here. It was super packed when I stopped by. I always get the same thing everytime I go, and honestly, it tastes the same at any location!

Reesa O.

Yelp
The chicken was soggy and the meat undercooked and still slimey. same thing with the bread and fries . Everything was flavorless Won't be coming back and highly disappointed. The staff just seemed rushed, forgetful and not taking each order with care as our order got served cold and it sat there on the counter for a good 30 minutes before they even gave it to us. We went home and had to air fry our food just so we could eat it.

Ca N.

Yelp
Good food, clean, new place. But i think the chicken strips and the fries are smaller than the other Raising Cane's And anything else is good
google avatar

Deb R.

Yelp
I gave five stars because I had no complaints. My husband and I tried Raising Cane's for the first time last Saturday about 1am and the drive through wasn't to bad, I say we got our order within 10 minutes. All I can say is the food was everything we expected and more. The chicken is good, but that sauce was so bomb. We actually went back on Tuesday, three days later because it was so good and fresh. Service was great. I had the chicken sandwich combo & my husband had the 3 piece combo. Great price.

Yelp
First time at a Raising Cane as there are currently none in the Bay Area! We went on a Sunday late afternoon and there was a long line! (Good thing there was 2 lines and 2 people taking orders outside so it made it a bit quicker) We couldn't see the menu since the people came up to take our order before we reached the menu so we got what was recommended, I wished they told us that it came with the special sauce then we wouldn't have ordered 2 more. Also my 3 finger combo meal was only $1 ish apart from the box combo meal, I would've chosen to get the box combo if I knew the difference Nonetheless! The chicken was soft and crispy, everything in the meal was delicious! Their special sauce was good! But the meal was on the higher price range of almost $10! I would definitely be back if there was one closer to home!
google avatar

Marc S.

Yelp
To be honest I'm not a chicken tender kinda person. Never have been and likely never will be. However, we were in Stockton for a few days and my son had never had Cane's so we decided to try it. I had very low expectations... We were actually pleasantly surprised. The chicken was freshly cooked to order, piping hot and juicy. The fries were hot and crispy. The coleslaw was pretty decent too. Cane's sauce was rather good. My kid loved it. I suppose if you're only going to serve one thing it ought to be good. It was. We shared a four piece meal with fries, slaw and Texas toast and it was plenty for a light lunch. Nice. We will try Cane's again back in LA.

Yelp
We had recently took uo a trip to the Sierra for snow adventures and I saw one of these places on way up. Naturally we had to get apres ski food on the way home. We had stopped in on an early weekend evening and it was super packed in the drive thru. I had decided to go inside to place a to go order since it was a shorter wait inside. I had placed 2x 8 piece Tenders with Drink and fries. I had gotten my order quickly with a short wait. The cashier counter person was reluctant to give some extra Cane dipping sauce, but 2 sauces were enough as it turns out. Great Chicken and the sauce is amazing!! I can't wait for the Berkeley location to open up in the East Bay. I will be back if I'm in the inland area again.
google avatar

Yelp
Awful experience. The food was average for Canes, I've been to a few of them. 45 minutes wait with only 7 cars in front of me. I should have known when one customer came out of the restaurant yelling... never again, next time we go to In and Out! The drive thru splits you into cash line or debit line (2 lines). But a tip they shared at the end, both lines actually take debit. That line was going through very fast, I was in the other line waiting for 45 minutes. When I finally got to the front the two workers told me they couldn't take orders u til the window let them. There computers wouldn't let them, said they were maxed in orders. They then both left and went to the windows. I sent a picture. As proceeded to wait ten minutes for anyone to return the girl taking orders in the other line said she was sorry and someone would be back. Then another girl came up and asked where the order takers were. Those were the two that were in the window but now are MIA. I said I don't know they left. She said I'm sorry this is a mess! Finally the young male returned acting like nothing was wrong. We were ordering and I asked said this operation isn't working. He said what operation? I said all of this! He said all of what. He was just being sarcastic. I said again, not being able to order... waiting sooo long to when the other line was moving. He then proceeded to tell me that each line works differently. I was like how? One is cash one is debit. He said it's different. Then he said, I'm working overtime so I can take your order! Wow.... Ok I'm done with this kid. When I got to the window the manager was there who I told him about the service but honestly he seemed overwhelmed. He said he would take care of it, whatever that means. I will never be back. I work in Stockton and there is no way I can spend my lunch time waiting in a drive up line for 45 minutes only to be treated poorly. Like the other customer said, next time In and Out. It's across the street.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I visited Stockton on a Saturday afternoon to visit University of the Pacific nearby and decided to give Cane's a try. We don't have one in our area, so it was a must to stop by. The place didn't seem too crowded, and service was quick. The customer service was very nice! They greeted us walking in and leaving, and this one cashier who took my order called me pretty and I really appreciated it since it made my day :) I thought this would've been an amazing chicken place because people talk about their sauce and how good it is on social media, but the food was pretty basic. I bought the 3 finger combo for about $11 but portions were a bit small for the price. The sauce was good, but I would say it's overhyped. I give this place 3/5 stars because it's just another local chicken joint if anyone is craving chicken, the service was good and quick, and it's right next to Target and other places if you are looking to grocery shop after!

Yelp
Canes never disappoints! I love this place so much I drove 55 minutes to Stockton to get some. I ordered a Caniac combo (I normally order the 3 piece but I wanted some for dinner), and it HIT the spot. The crispy, juicy chicken was so fresh and delicious in the peppery and tangy sauce. The fries were fried to perfection and the Texas toast was soo tasty. Their lemonade is also great too. Their meals are always ready in about 5 minutes, but they are so very fresh. The ambiance is air conditioned, spacious, and clean. Definitely recommend to all those who haven't tried Canes- your missing out!!!

Ruth S.

Yelp
NOT worth the money. My first time there. Chicken was stringy, coleslaw was wilted and tasted old. My fries were soggy. I don't get the hype. My first time there will be my last.

Gilbert G.

Yelp
Certain workers are rude as f***... I went thru drive thru and whoever was working was rushing me and then said ok see u at first window, I got to first window and everyone ignored me for 5 whole minutes so I went to second window and that's where they helped but still Rushed me.... If you aren't ready for the real world why bother applying?? Come on Caínes you can do better

Yelp
Raising Cane's is a pretty popular chicken joint and this location is in a big plaza. The parking may be hit or miss because this is a rather busy plaza. The drive-thru was not too busy on this particular night - I was in and out of it with my food within about 15 minutes. I tried The 3 Finger Combo (3 chicken fingers with crinkle-cut fries, Texas toast, 1 Cane's sauce, and a drink). I thought my food was decent - the chicken was a bit dry, but with the sauces, it was not too bad. The fries were good - I really like crinkle-cut fries, but I wished that they automatically put ketchup in the bag. The toast was not as tasty as I remembered - it was a bit dry and not as warm.

Adrianna M.

Yelp
I've always liked raising canes once I tried it for the first time while visiting in Reno but the quality has gone down A LOT. Maybe it's just this location? There's no reason why the Caniac combo costs as much as it does. The chicken is half the size it USED to be and there's barely any fries. Either someone was lazy or just being skimpy with the fries. Also the chicken isn't juicy like it was known for. It's just average tenders now and not worth the price. I felt ripped off honestly. Looks like this will be the last time I go to a canes for a long while.
google avatar

Jason A.

Yelp
One of my favorite chicken strip place. Tender, juicy and flavorful strips paired with their bun and fries. Great drive thru service, staff were friendly.

Jeff D.

Yelp
Portions has gone down.hill The coleslaw is terrible tasteless chicken strips have got smaller french fries portions, and amount of fries got smaller ,customer service decent. How can you have a business like this with Prices are too high for your combo plates. The best thing is your iced tea in Manteca! ‍‍
google avatar

Cindy C.

Yelp
Finally at a raising cane, I know it's just a fast food joint but I'm just curious how good the chicken is, it's pretty good. I just need to try it with the crack sauce one day.
google avatar

Eliza M.

Yelp
The bread was my favorite part! The fried and the sauce are really good as well. This is going to be my new late night crave.
google avatar

Keysha M.

Yelp
Havent been to this location in 2 years and now I see why smh the line was super slow per usual at this location. Now the food, the chicken fingers has gotten smaller and the fries portion is pretty small as well. I suggest you taste your fries before leaving because for almost $15 mine were super salty. I suggest not coming here either because for $15 youll get kids meal portions.... Its not worth, you might as well get a kids meal for cheaper or simply go to wing stop or chick fil a for better prices and portion sizes. Also if you like love water down lemonade for an extra 0.40, youll love it here smdh. This is the WORST location!
google avatar

Lida S.

Yelp
They gave me my order and the pieces are so small and thin... wtf Paid 11$ for the combo and that's all I get. I don't like complaining about food like that but gosh that's so skimpy! Smh

Yvonne S.

Yelp
Was here this morning and was helped by who appeared to be the manager on duty. I could tell as he was tending to and correcting team members while in the middle of taking my order. He did not repeat or confirm my order either. After ordering and paying I awkwardly awaited to get a receipt, as he stepped away from the register to correct the team members. Some time passes by and I decide to just get my drink while I wait for my food. Still Never got a receipt. Get my food and drive back to work as I'm on break, my order was completely wrong. Recommending that the manager stay present in his customer interactions, though important to acknowledge his team members coming in the door and provide corrective action (on a small issue like order being dine in over takeout) this should not take precedence over the customer in front of you.

Yelp
Just ok, definitely not mind blowing like I had heard. I'll stick with popeyes. Will say, they got the drive-thru down. For as busy as they are they are organized and keep the line moving. The food, is fresh, seemed just made and hot! Unfortunately I've had better and the taste of the chicken was just ok. The chicken was not as good as popeyes. The fries were ok.
