Stopped in to use the bathroom — and props where they’re due, it was surprisingly clean (a rarity on a road trip!). Decided to swing through the drive-thru after, and I was greeted with a smile and super friendly service. That’s always a win in my book.
The chicken? Hot, crispy, and satisfying — Cane’s does that part right. But the coleslaw? Yikes. It tasted like sadness in a cup. And the bread? Something was definitely off. Weird smell, nasty flavor — it was like it gave up halfway through being Texas toast.
Still, clean facilities, great staff, and solid chicken kept this from being a total loss. I’ll be back, but I’ll skip the slaw and bread next time.
