The D.C.-Area Restaurant Openings in October | Eater DC

"The cult Louisiana-born fried chicken chain opens across from Capital One Arena, placing another location near popular poultry rival Chick-fil-A. Inside, framed nods to D.C.’s cherry blossoms and the surrounding neighborhood set the tone for a tight menu of fried chicken, house-made sauces, and fries." - Emily Venezky

A José Andrés-Backed Cafe Named for Marion Barry Opens in Ward 8 | Eater DC

"Opening October 21 near Capital One Arena, this second D.C. outpost is hiring for 100 positions and specializes in fried chicken tenders, fries, and signature sauces. Following last fall’s debut inside Union Station’s underground food hall, the Chinatown location expands the chain’s local footprint." - Tierney Plumb

I am writing to share my recent positive experience at your Cane's location in Washington, DC. I was fortunate to find it near where I was staying, and I was thoroughly impressed. The cashiers were very professional, and my food was ready quickly. The service at my table was excellent, and the entire location was spotless. While at the soda machine, I spoke with the manager and learned that the place was only five days old. This particular visit reminded me of a time when customer service was truly exceptional, and restaurants went above and beyond to make customers feel welcome and eager to return. Thank you, Cane's. I found more than just delicious food at your location. 10/25/2025 @12:37 pm, in person.

This is the best Canes that I’ve been to - the chicken tastes like Mr. Cane himself cooked it.
