Raising Cane's

I’ve always had good experiences with Raising Cane’s, but my visit yesterday was genuinely disappointing. I ordered a 4‑piece meal to go, and after eating a few of the chicken fingers, I noticed that the styrofoam box had melted in several spots where the food had been resting. This is the first time I’ve ever encountered something like this, and it was concerning to see. When I called the store to report it, the manager told me that to avoid this in the future, I should request a paper liner inside the box. That response surprised me — if the food is hot enough to melt the container, why isn’t a liner provided automatically? It feels like a basic step that should be part of standard packaging, not something customers have to know to ask for. I’ve always trusted Raising Cane’s for consistent quality, so this experience was really disappointing. I hope this feedback helps improve packaging practices so other customers don’t run into the same issue and perhaps to train your mangers to show more empathy.

Nice, friendly service. Clean place, good grub. Fries and slaw nuthing to brag about. Would like to have other choices of sauce. I will return

I have to say. The Canes chicken tenders are quite tasty. Not a fan of the canes sauce so I dipped them in some extra CFL sauces I had. I would say the Canes tenders are actually larger than CFL. Too bad Canes doesn’t have the same level of service as CFL.

We visited this location around 9pm via drive-thru 1/30/26 The order taker was abrupt and kept cutting us off while we were speaking. We confirmed our order at the window and were told it was correct. When we got home, we realized our Dr Pepper was missing, and one of the chicken tenders was extremely small. This isn’t the first issue we’ve had here — when we dine in, the fountain drinks are often out of syrup. We just want better consistency and communication at this location.

Great service they delivered it to my car after ordering on the app. They got all the sauces right except they forgot to give me ketchup so always check before leaving. It’s right next to Walmart gas station.

Bought a Caniac combo for my kiddos to share and a large Hi-C. Got home and split the drink into 2 cups and found this stuff at the bottom of the cup. It’s not pepper and it looks like black mold particles from the soda machine. There’s no way that should be at the bottom of a cup. I’m going to give this cup to my friend that works in a lab to have it analyzed. It’s def not pepper

Odd tendency to place dine in orders in the to go containers, but they have bike parking, the staff are nice, and the toilets are clean. There's usually some kids hanging out here, which is nice to see in this day and age. Rarely too busy but also rarely empty, it strikes a good balance every time I go.

Asked for fries extra crispy and told cashier we didn't mind waiting, I heard him tell the cook. Order came out in under a minute with just past raw fries

This Cane's is great! The interior is really cool and hip, I love the decorations. Whoever our cashier was (didn't get his name), was extremely personable and friendly! The food was very quickly ready, and the seating options are ample. The portions are also large for the price - we just got a few sides (fries, texas toast, coleslaw, canes sauce) and it was wonderful. Canes sauce is the best - a lot of places have a similar sauce but you can't outdo the doer! I'll definitely be stopping by again when I'm in the area. Loved my visit!

Awful drive through experience. Got my drink size wrong, which I didn't even mention, and then gave me an extra side of coleslaw despite asking for an extra side of toast. No big deal right? Heh, lady (the same one who took my order) made me show her my receipt, argued with me about what I asked for (who the heck would want extra coleslaw anyway? JK but like srsly...), and then literally stared me down as she was waiting for the toast to come, to the point where I felt compelled to take out my phone and start a video -- This chick looked to be a few seconds away from a full on melt down.

The food was not very good. To start off the lemonade which they charge you extra for has barely any lemon flavor and is incredibly bland. There is no sweetness or tartness that you would expect a lemonade to have. The chicken tenders were not too good. There was no crisp on the tenders and one tender was smaller than my thumb. Not much seasoning on its own and feels like it needs sauce. If someone brought canes chicken tenders to a party, they would never be invited again. The fries lacked any seasoning at all and tasted like straight potatoes and oil. The fries were also not very crispy and were very soggy making me question how long it's been since my food was made. After eating the fries and chicken tenders, I genuinely have suspicions on whether there is any seasoning in that kitchen. Some salt would have helped but there was none of it. I usually enjoy the toast at Canes but it was soggy today but still okay. The only positive at this place is the sauce. They would most likely have the same amount of customers if sauce was the only thing on the menu. Overall this was not very good and I genuinely struggled to finish my food after my sauce was completed. I also had to add seasoning to my fries which ruins the purpose of me buying food if it's up to me to make it edible. Will not be coming again!

This place is great for fast service. No complaints on food quality. I visit frequently and today on my visit, I went through the the drive thru. The speed was incredible and they were able to scan my rewards app with no issue. I ordered a box combo and got 5 fingers which I didn't mind, but I ordered a sweet tea and got unsweet tea. It's a little concerning of the order accuracy. Overall would come back. Very lively atmosphere.

I am sticking with my 5 Star review. And so would all the hungry friends and family at Sat lunch today after Thanksgiving. See photo. We have never had any problem and enjoy coming here. Maybe not that often but there are an awful lot of chicken finger places in Collin County. Good for competition. The staff was attentive and kept the place clean during meal hour.

Fries were soggy and had no flavor. The chicken fingers breading was soggy as well kept falling off. Tasted like everything was rushed. The gentleman who took my order was nice and efficient.

Every time i go here the chicken is soggy along with the fries. How hard is it to get cooked crispy non soggy chicken. Im so tired of this. Do you not employee workers that know how to clean the fryer????I used to love canes but the quality is 10000% trash. When you pick up a piece of chicken and the skin just falls off you should close your doors clean your fryers and fix your restaurant. I cant be the only one who feels this way. Id rather go to popeyes across the street than eat soggy food again. This happens every time i go to this canes. Just stay away from this location.

I love this place but gotta give it a 3 star. I used to have no problems with this place but NOW I DO! I got some French Fries and then I couldn't even bite it! It tasted like nothing when I ate the fries. And 2nd of all I got chicken tenders but there was something on it. I didn't ask for anything on it! I gave it a 3 star only. Good location tho!

In the past week, I've visited the Coit location in Plano twice. Both times I've had unresolved issues. Today, I went into the restaurant to report my concern to the on duty manager, Christina. On 09/04/23, I went thru the drive thru and order the Caniac Combo with no coleslaw and no toast, but with extra fries. I repeated my order 4 times. 3 times at the drive thru kiosk and once at the window. I even had the crew members repeat my order back to me and they still got it wrong. So, I pulled up and went inside to have them fix it, only to get home and find the replacement items hard and cold. On 09/08/23 my wife went by to order me the exact same thing. When she got home, there were no extra fries and the drink order was wrong. I've been eating Canes for the past 10 years and have never experienced this before. Your food is too costly to have these types of mistakes and poor customer service. So today, I went into the store and spoke with the on duty manager. I explained my concern clearly and she in turn explained that she had several new employees and some were still in training. She offered to make the order again herself. Which I said ok. However, I wasn't expecting that I would be charged this time around since I'd previously paid for wrong orders. As opposed to refusing, I paid and decided to contact corporate. As minor as it appears, I need a resolution to this issue.

Do not go to this location. The drive thru is always backed up so far. How can a place that only serves 5 things take 30 minutes to get through the drive thru? I will never understand the lack of competence with the people who work here. The food is typical but the service is the slowest.

I've heard a lot about Raising Canes and was a little disappointed. The service and staff were nice, the location was clean, but the chicken wasn't as good for me compared to say Popeyes, more bland and I didn't think their sauce was all of that. Their fries were good. Maybe just a personal preference. It was busy, so maybe I'm the outlier.

Ordered crispy chicken so they had me park, waited 15 mins to the then go inside and then tell me they hadn't made it. They then rushed and gave me not crispy chicken in 1 minute. Didn't really seem like anyone knew what was going on in there.

Talk about downsizing! The chicken strips get smaller and smaller each day. A 3-piece meal for $10 comes with 3 chicken nuggets!!!! It is a crying shame! Additionally, the chicken was dry and bland and the oil left a bad aftertaste in my mouth. Hmmm, I wonder what kind of all they are using. Or maybe it's just old. The drive through was moving along. Which may be the reason why chicken was the way it was. Cooked and left sitting out for too long. Maybe. Hmmm? The lemonade is not what are used to be either. I ordered mine without ice, and it was still watery.

This place seems to be ran by children. I came in here today after purchasing a meal on the app (terrible app that crashes all the time). Brought in proof of the purchase and just because they didn't have a ticket for my name the manager (child) wouldn't honor and said that I would just have to pay my $22 again. Great food at canes that my pregnant wife loves, but they have now lost my trust.

Regret pulling into the drive through. It's chicken, that's all they do! 14 minutes in the drive through is way too long. Then I was given the wrong drink, even after confirming my order. Just too expensive now for the frustration.

Hot and always well staffed. We did a large catering order for a birthday party and it was ready on time as planned.

I don't understand how a restaurant these days does not have Wi-Fi for customers to use while dining. Anyone wanting to multitask while they eat chicken fingers should go somewhere else.

Really nice looking location in general and very festive with nice Christmas decor. First time trying Canes and the food was great . The employees were very friendly and service was fast . Made my day

The last four times I ordered and paid for extra Canes Sauce in the drive thru they forgot. I can understand every once in a while, but it's happening often. It sucks getting home and not having your full order.

Great place. As is the case with all Cane's, the sauce and the toast are the best part.

Posted hours online, on doors and windows say 1am... closed today at 10pm, despite the app allowing you to order. Drove up to window and the girl inside just looked at us, rolled her eyes and walked by the window. Last time I ordered on the app, tried to drive through to pick it up and the girl at the drive through window told me I had to come inside to pick it up - why?!! It's always 50-50 if the order is even correct... how do you mess up a Canes order, there's only 3 options. This is not a "Cane's" issue - every other Canes we've been to is fantastic food, fantastic service - this is a location-specific issue.

Normally the food is really good at Canes. But I am sad to say our family meal tonight (4 combos) had several strikes against it. Chicken was mushy, bread and fries soggy, and root beer was solid soda - no syrup. Customer service is great but I'm wondering what happened to the food?!

Man I loves canes but this was the most disappointing order I've ever had in my life look at the size of one my chicken strips.

Excellent chicken tenders, and very good fries. Fresh, hot food any time of day. Drive through is fast, with prompt and efficient service. Highly recommend for a quick and delicious meal.

How does a place that only sells chicken fingers and fries always have a long wait time for lunch?... seriously it's ridiculous. Do better

They were closed when their hours said they were open. I keep seeing this more and more these days with places closing early. If it says you're open then you're supposed to be open, especially when people drive across town. Won't be coming back.

Hours posted say open until 12 am but twice now we've gone at 10-10:30 and they are closed.

Wow. This is not your typical Canes. We usually go to the one at Park and Plano Parkway but this new one is closer. Unfortunately the young ladies are quite snippy and rude. I came through the drive through looking like crap because I've had a migraine for two days and sick from not eating. Just trying to get food for me and my boys and the girl taking my order was snippy with me and the girl at the window was just passive aggressive rude. I think I'll keep going to the one over at Plano Parkway. It's further but the kids over there are super nice.

This canes has been in shambles since the day it opened. I worked at canes (not this one) for the majority of 2021 so I know a thing or two about how the food should come out. I have gone to the coit and spring creek canes about 30 times and I have gotten my order right 2 times! From missing sauces(almost every time), to disregarding how I asked my toast to be cooked, or just all around bad quality chicken. I always give this canes another chance because it's 2 minutes away from my house, and leave disappointed. The fries are regularly way to salty and the chicken rarely comes out looking how it should(either to small or with half the breading off). Also the hours have been wrong online many times, saying they're open till 1 but closed at 10:30. This canes does have a few redeeming qualities though, it's one of the newest restaurants so the inside looks pretty cool and crew is usually nice. But If you live somewhat close to another canes I would just go to that one!
