This was my 3rd visit to Raja Indian Cuisine & Bar, and overall it’s a solid go-to for authentic Indian flavors in generous portions. Favorites: • Mulligatawny Soup (10/10): Vegan, rich, and flavorful—carrots, lentils, apple, coconut cream, and curry come together beautifully. A must-try! • Chicken 65 (10/10): Perfectly fried, flour-coated chicken breast bites tossed with curry leaves and a sprinkle of chaat masala. We chose medium heat—flavorful with just the right kick. • Chicken Biryani (9/10): Fragrant with visible whole spices, served with delicious raita. Chicken was tender and plentiful (at least 4+ pieces). • Masala Chai (10/10): Absolutely nailed it—comforting and well-spiced. Others: • Chicken Hakka Noodles (7/10): Loaded with veggies but mild request made it under-seasoned—garlic, soy, and ketchup got toned down too much. Mild shouldn’t mean bland! • Pakal Chicken (4/10): Disappointing. Lacked depth, and chicken felt like it was added to curry as an afterthought. • Rice Kheer (6/10): Too sweet and runny—expected a thicker, more custard-like texture. • Ras Malai (8/10): Served chilled, flavorful and soft. A good dessert option. • Chapati vs. Roti: Chapati wins—softer and better texture. General Notes: • Generous portion sizes, especially rice and noodle dishes. • Hidden location—entry is at the back of the mall and doesn’t look inviting, but inside it’s beautifully decorated with Indian vibes. • AC is strong, so bring a layer! • If you’re not used to Indian/Pakistani spice levels, stick with mild. I go for medium to spicy. Verdict: Worth it. A few misses, but the hits are strong enough to keep bringing me back.

Best Indian food in palm beach county. It’s fresh and delicious and a good variety. My kids loved everything too including the delicious rice pudding dessert. It is truly the best Indian buffet around town. The place is also very clean and welcoming.

Love trying different dishes here. Each dish had unique flavor and amazed us every time. The staffs were very nice. They remember us and bring an iced tea before we even ordered it. It showed that they care. In the beginning, we thought they only have one entrance inside the old mall. Many times we came out, but the mall was closed and we didn’t understand how they survived. It took us almost 6 months to find out that they have a secret entrance in the back. We were so happy to know that we don’t need to come during the mall’s hours any more. There might be a few dishes that we didn’t like, but for the most part we love it. Sometimes the chef even came out to talk to us which was very nice.

Great food and great service, South Indian food is a must try. Great chef 🧑‍🍳. Also the buffet is great.

first time I had Indian food in New Jersey recently now I tried it in Florida. This is the first restaurant in Florida. I have tried second time eating Indian food. It was absolutely delicious. 10+ delicious I will definitely be back. Sunday November 23, 2025 I come to this restaurant minimum once a week sometimes twice sometimes three times depending on the week my birthday is Tuesday and the chef made me a homemade cake for my birthday. I can’t thank you enough for your kindness. I just love these guys. The food is excellent very consistent. They’re all just terrific. It’s a great restaurant to go to. I love coming in. I highly recommend it.

Amazing, delicious, and excellent customer service. I'm very surprised and relieved at the same time that I found THE INDIAN restaurant I can go to and enjoy. Fair pricing, abundance quantity, great taste. Will definitely go there again. I was looking for Hakka Noodles and vegetable Manchurian but they didn't have it on the menu. The chef just happened to step outside and our waitress asked him if they had that. They didn't have it but chef nodes his head in Indian style and said I'll make it 😍

The food at Raja is simply delicious! I love Indian flavors and spices anyway, but the chefs at Raja are masters at creating just the right combinations. The service was excellent and friendly. Prices are reasonable. This quiet restaurant is a hidden gem that will not remain undiscovered for too long. Go!

Walking inside is clean and Moody. We were seated immediately, and a few people rushed by to give us Waters, get our order, bring food, and attentive nature overall. Very impressed with how fast food came out and how fresh it all was. Many workers felt great, and we felt like kings. But the kicker is that this food was OUT OF THIS WORLD DELICIOUS. We were impressed with every dish as they came out. And the prices were good. $60 for 4 of us, and we did not hold back. We all got what we wanted and were so impressed overall. You are now at the top of our list :) Samosa Chaat - many flavors and consistencies. Delicious. Butter Naan - so fresh and buttery!!! We all were impressed Masala Dosa - what we came here for. Potato out of this world flavors. Chicken Tikka Masala - Creamy and perfect. Mango Lassi & Cokes - Large Lassi and delicious.

Food - 5, my Lamb Biryani, my go to Indian. It was moist, so flavorful, and the 3 spice level was spot on! Butter and Garlic Naan in addition, so good. service - 5, appetizers, drinks and the food came out quickly, can't wait to go back net time I'm in Wellington!

The food is amazing! The portion was excellent. The delivery didn't take to long and I really recommend.

I have had better Indian food before. I ordered the Crab Pepper Tomato Soup and the Chana Masala. The soup was flavorful, but extremely garlicky. The Chana Masala was not good as it was way too oily.

Dont often eat indian food (normally everything is too hot for my mouth) but this place, well they tried to appease best they could. The other thing is usually indian food is hella expensive for dishes without meat; but this place meat dishes gratiosly portioned. One of the better places in the area for kebabs. Quite tasty and fresh, just caution if you don't eat spicy food.

The food is so delicious so tasty. The chicken tiki salad is amazing . The cauliflower appetizer is always a favorite

I got the goat saag medium spice which was perfect! Creamy and fresh spinach, tender delicious goat. I also got the cheese naan which complimented it perfectly along with gulab jamun which was sweet and yummy. Highly recommend this place for a indian food, i believe it's the best in the west palm/lantana/boynton area

We met friends here for dinner over the weekend. We had an excellent experience. It took us a bit to find the restaurant as you enter from around the back of the mall. They do have an outside patio for dining under the stars... you walk through this to get to the tables and booths inside. We'd made reservations -- and they were quite busy early on a Saturday night. I had their lamb tikka masala. The sauce was addictive and the meat pieces were very tender. We added an order of butter naan to share. It was served hot and was also very good. Rice was served family style for the table. My husband had lamb Rogan Josh. It was not on the menu, but they were able to make it for him. He got it at level 3 heat. He really liked his meal as well. Our friends got the lamb shank special which was a large bone in portion served along side salad, and garlic naan. His wife got a vegan dish with cauliflower and potatoes. Both said their dishes were very good. One of the fellows tried an Indian beer. And the other had a gin and tonic. In sum, we had a tasty meal at a very reasonable price with good service. Who could ask for anything more?

I usually don't review places, because I'm lazy, but this place deserves it. 10/10 food and staff. I discovered this place last Monday -- and since then, I also went back again on Wednesday, Saturday, the next Tuesday, Thursday, and this Saturday. 6 times in the span of two weeks. It's that good.

Authentic Indian Food, which is located in the original Wellington Mall in the center of town. Attentive service, along with a very pleasing atmosphere! Excellent buffet and dinner menu, too. I highly recommend this epicurean delight!

The seafood soup was quite delicious. The grilled wings had a wonderful texture not dry and a good flavor. The Bagari shrimp was plentiful with a nice sauce that complement the dish very well. The Falood Coffee Millie Fuilie dessert was just amazing... Although we ordered a la carte, they offer a buffet special if you're in the mood for some binge eating at a good price. My only negative is that at first the service was not all that great, but it improved when the servers alternated. The location is quite ample, a bit hidden but I guess otherwise it would be completely packed.

Love love love this restaurant. I've been gate keeping a bit. The restaurant is in the old Wellington mall which is good and bad in my opinion. The service is quick and the food is always fresh and tasty. It's in an old pub but they have a great outdoor deck area when it's cooler outside. The lunch buffets are great. The dinner is always delicious. My kids love the chicken tikka masala but they do stock nuggets for my picky eater.

My husband and I have been coming to Raja on a regular basis since the opening. Today was another 5-star day! The buffet items were all delicious and the goat meat was so damn good that it almost made me cry! It was like I was in my mom's kitchen again... it was such a nostalgic moment for me. I had to let Chef Vijesh know that he brought memories of my mom back today and it filled me with joy! The service is also ALWAYS excellent and Valina is a sweetheart. She's always a pleasure to see and super polite. This is the one restaurant I just cannot live without! Best authentic Indian/Pakistani food in this area. Can't wait to go back next week!

I recently tried Raja Indian Cuisine and Bar through a delivery order via a third-party app, and overall, it was a good experience. The food was tasty and enjoyable, no doubt about that. The flavors were well-balanced, however, when it comes to Indian cuisine, I've had more flavorful and rich dishes at other spots. While they served up some tasty fare, it might not be the best choice if you're seeking super spicy and intensely flavorful dishes. That being said, the food was still good, and I appreciated the variety of options available on their menu. The delivery process was smooth, and the food arrived hot and in good condition. If you prefer milder flavors or are new to Indian cuisine, Raja Indian Cuisine and Bar could be a great option for you. They offer a more approachable take on traditional dishes, which may appeal to a wider audience.

I'm sorry to the owner. I did tak to him about my experience, totally disappointed about there quality food was too oily and the tandoori chicken was too dry. I comes every two weeks here for lunch but never had like this

This is one of my favorite restaurants the staff is always super polite and the food is always the best. This is my favorite Indian restaurant in Wellington/royal palm beach. I always like to get "railway station goat" and the samosas. We have been coming since we moved in 2018 and will continue to do so :)

As I am eating the leftovers from last night's dinner, I am inspired to tell the world how AMAZING this restaurant is. If you're not sure you like Indian food, I'm here to inform you that you DO. If you get it at Raja, that is ... The food is absolutely exceptional. The atmosphere is lovely. And the portions are generous. I would rate Raja SIX STARS, if I could. Thank you, RAJA!

Came back to night for a delicious dinner. We shared, Lamb Vindaloo, Shrimp Biryani, sag pannieer, Korea chicken. delicious!

I had previously reviewed this restaurant, but only based on my delivery. Today I finally got to eat there and I was so pleasantly surprised. It's a small place located in a desolate mall, but the food is yummy. I had the buffet lunch and it was small, but plenty of food for me. I also indulged in an order of vegetable samosas and tandoori wings. I really couldn't ask for a better lunch experience. The staff is super friendly and attentive and the food is on par with some of the best Indian restaurants in town. I would highly recommend this wonderful little gem.

This is one of our local hidden gems, Beautiful outdoor dining area, terrific service and the food is absolutely outstanding, they were surprisingly not busy at all on a Friday night, we definitely want to support our local business!

I would give it 5 stars, but every time I order one of their pictures of a meal that's on their menu, I'm told, that's just there for design, so why do they show these Pictures of delicious meals that they do not make ???

I ate Yellowtail Snapper here for lunch yesterday for the 1st time and threw up in the restaurant bathroom after eating it. After explaining it to the owner, all he would do was give me a 10% discount for giving me food poisoning and serving me BAD FISH. I spent 5 hours in the ER of the hospital early this morning and will be reporting it to the health dept. 1st thing on Monday morning.

Food is good and the service as well. We stayed past their lunch closing time while they were cleaning up. The people were very nice and hard working.

Indian foodie here; been at it for 20 years. I've probably eaten at more than 60 Indian restaurants between California and Florida. Raj is one of the BEST Indian restaurants I have enjoyed. One word: Brilliant! FYI: I am a vegetarian; only post non-flesh foods.

Friendly service. Been here multiple times. Foods good can't compare to other Indian places. Haven't tried them yet. But I would come back. No problem.

This is such a hidden gem of a spot. The food was all delicious. Amazing. Customer service is very attentive. The location was kind of hard to find but once you get inside, it feels like very family friendly.

I had never been inside the old before so that in itself was a treat. The food at raja was very good. They had plenty of vegan options and also many staples of Indian cuisine. I liked that you could have whatever spice/heat level you wanted on every item. We got a fried cauliflower which had a great sauce and plenty of non fried veggies with it. The tandoori chicken was brilliant. So moist it just fell off the bone and the combo of flavors from the spices was on par. It came with some cooked veggies which I appreciate, delicious rice and what appeared to be some lentil soup. The lentil side dish was ok - I wouldn't be super pumped to get it again but I ate it. It was watery and that didn't impress me. Rosemary naan was a hit with us. All the food reheated well the next day too. Servers were very nice and attentive. Don't look for an interesting bar menu, but do go for the food.

Came by for a Baby shower luncheon and was pleasantly surprised. The place was set up for over 100 people and the servers were very attentive and that made my day. The buffet was sumptuous to say the least and everything I tried was very tasty and on point. There were a lot Vegetarian choices and all the dishes were neatly labeled. I enjoyed the Fish Curry and the Lamb Spinach a lot and the grilled chicken platter which had an assortment of different Chicken flavors. The dessert bar had fresh fruit besides the traditional Indian sweets which was a nice touch. We shall be back when in the area as there was "SumTin" for everyone's palate!!

This is a review for only for pick up order. I haven't dined there yet but hopefully in the future. They have nice seating accommodations. They have buffet at lunch, and a la carte menu for dinner time. I placed my order at 5:30PM and it was ready when I arrived. I ordered 3 stuffed naans. Being in south Florida, we don't have this option in any desi restaurants so I was really excited to try it. I ordered two chicken tikka stuffed naans. And one minced lamb keema stuffed naan. Both types were really decent. I have only one suggestion that they stuff the ingredients throughout the naan instead of only in the middle area. I would definitely order it again since I love naans with stuffing. In addition, I would try their other creations in the menu as well. Side Note- 10 percent off was available when you checked into yelp. ~

A little hard to find since the location is wrong on Apple Maps but it's inside the mall and the food was absolutely delicious!!!! Only in Florida for a month but I will be coming back before I leave

We went for the weekend buffet. All the staff were very nice. My son got a vegan Mango Lassi, which he loved. If its available, get the bread pudding - its great! Truly worthy of 5 stars!

My husband and I had dinner here on a whim and we were so pleasantly surprised by how delicious the food was! The lamb samosas were flaky, cooked perfectly, and stuffed full of filling. Raja offered the best naan bread I've had yet, and the Chicken Tikka Masala was beautiful. My husband got the Lamb Vindaloo with 5 star spice and he raved about it. The portions were super generous and the food was very reasonably priced. Staff was friendly, service was quick. We can't wait to eat here again!

I have been to this place multiple times. Service and chef are professional. South Indian dishes are following traditional Indian taste. My favorite at this please lasooningobi, Dosa, Rasam.

This place is fabulous - one of the gems of my recent FL trip. Don't enter through the creepy mall, as others have mentioned it really is quite strange. We came around 7ish pm when said creepy mall was closed/closing and deserted. We walked through until someone told us to go around. The back entrance almost looks like a service door and it's slightly misleading. My one critique would be to add a sign. The service is awesome, so attentive without overbearing. The food is amazing with huge portions and definitely spicy! We typically order food spicy (not crazy hot though) and medium was plenty for us, especially on the biryani. The Tikka Masala has more of a tomato base than cream compared to other versions, still delicious though!

Everything dry. The meats all fatty. The parking lot ghetto. Never been to an Indian buffet that was so in dire need of seasoning. Really flavorless food and all of the chicken dishes were dry.

The service was really good, our waiter was very tentative. Even though it was buffet style eating, he made sure to answer all of our questions. The drinks were kepted filled at all times Now to the food: our experience was really great to say the least. The food tasted fresh & authentic. We enjoy eating Indian cuisine , my girlfriend and I really enjoyed this one in particular. The ambience was really good & everything seemed very clean. I would highly recommend this place.

Best tasting Indian food we have found in our area and are lucky they are right around the corner. Service is always prompt and helpful. The ambiance is terrific; lots of nice uniquely Indian touches throughout. There is also a very nice bar area outside with plenty of space to host an after work cocktail hour or party. The only critique we have is my husband says the men's restroom setup is kinda bizarre.

Exceptional The flavors are ultimate. We ordered several dishes. The fish, dal and eggplant are amazing. Their plain nan is fresh made and great flavor. The raja martini superb with curry ginger and star anise. Vegan mango lasse is great too. The only thing was it was a bit hard to find and you have to go around to the back of the shopping center to enter. Inside the ambiance is nice. Staff are all friendly and accommodating. Indian food is always good! We order the butter chicken and paneer with the cheese squares and regular naan! you can't go wrong with that! Food is always tasty ! no complaints

Literally the BEST Indian food around. It's consistently delicious and worth every penny. We order take out once a week or every other week. Food is always hot and ready and we've never received the wrong order. The environment inside the restaurant is nice too once you get past the creepiness of old Wellington mall.
