First visit: I waited at the bar an achingly long time to order a drink, and also inquire whether the Social Media group had arrived. The media folks found me before either ordering or inquiring. I remember our waitress did a better job, got our drinks out quickly, and split the checks perfectly. Tonight, I found myself at Rally Point for a second go. Hubby and I were in Cary, wanting food and beer, and this fit the bill!
We seated ourselves in the back and I took in the atmosphere. About 6 TVs tuned into two programs, and around 10 tables scattered throughout the floor; not as dimly lit as you might expect. To the right, there's a door that leads onto the patio where people appeared to be in engaged in Extreme Cornhole. A gal came in took our beer orders: Copperline Amber and Sweetwater 420. They arrive, along with a newly appointed server, and the supposed Sweetwater tastes a little like... Coors Light. The server takes it back to the bar with no fuss, and when he returns he says that our order got rung in as LandShark and Sweetwater; so I was drinking Phil's beer, and he was drinking swill. Anyway, they fixed it up quickly.
For food, we both went for wraps. I had the buffalo chicken, and Phil got the ahi tuna, medium rare. The chicken wrap, while not extraordinary, certainly hit the spot. It's not overly stuffed, but really just the right size for a meal. I had mine with a side of Ranch and the Rally chips (which are awesome. Skip the fries and try these!). Our server also brought over a toolbox of sauces, which included the usual ketchup and mustard, as well as an array of hot sauces. Great solution for condiments, and definitely won me over some!
