A store is a store, but Heather needs to be fired like yesterday. When the self-checkout notified me that a manager would need to scan their tag, I asked her. All she said was well maybe you should listen and follow instructions. I had needed her to remove a coconut water from my order because I wanted to buy the least expensive one, and she never followed the instructions to take the item back from me. I left it there for someone to put back. However, due to my anxiety about this interaction, I accidentally scanned an item twice and had to come back the next day for a refund for the extra item. She ended off this wonderful exchange by coming over unprompted while I was paying and pressed back while my card was loading. I had bypassed my pin and was waiting for it to process, and her nasty self came over talking about "you put in the wrong pin." I get that it's a long day, and not every customer is great. However I'm genuinely baffled how this woman became a manager with her demeaning attitude. I hope she knows there are plenty of people with invisible disabilities, including me, and her behavior is extremely rude. I was perfectly capable of checking out, and the prompts for a manager were beyond my control. I'd had a long day and was maybe checking out more slowly than the average person, but I wasn't bothering anyone. Heather needs to check herself, or have someone do it for her. There is no reason to treat anyone this way, especially at work. And customers who do need help are worthy of a manager who can remove their heads from their asses.
