"Ramen Bangaichi has closed in Culver City, leaving the former East Borough space once again dormant in the city’s downtown. A tipster says the 2017 restaurant was all buttoned up, and Yelp reports it as having been closed for a little while now, though it’s unclear exactly when." - Farley Elliott

Definitely over priced compared to the taste. I've had Spicy Miso Ramen and Spicy Ramen Bangaichi special. Comparatively simple Spicy Miso Ramen was flavourful but the other broth was very mild. It's a very cozy upscale place with friendly staff. I would try other Ramen places before coming to this place again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our ramen. On the pricier side, but the servings were huge and they didn't skimp on the toppings. We came at the beginning of happy hour looking forward to the full bar they've been heavily promoting. But we were a bit disappointed to see no one manning the bar and an order of Old Fashioned wasn't possible. They have multiple sake bomb choices though. But I don't think that counts as having a full bar.

Very cute and good quality spot for ramen! I can only speak for the veggie/vegan one, but I thought it was really good. It's a bit nicer ambiance then other ramen places I've been, and I love the giant booths along the wall. You can add toppings like egg, onion, corn, etc in the bowl. HUGE PORTION and very filling, even though it's all vegan. We asked for forks because I'm terrible with chopsticks but they said they ran out? There were only 3 other people in the restaurant on a Tuesday, how could you run out of forks? Took her over 10 min to get a fork, and she apologized. Kind of weird, but they were nice about it!

I think this place just opened and they need to work out the kinks. Drink and food service was slow and awkwardly timed. Orders had to be repeated over loud music. The most mediocre ramen I've ever had. The noodles we're good but everything else was pretty flavorless. Egg was cold but yet a little hard boiled. Char siu was actually fantastic.

Chose this place because it was one of few restaurants open when we were looking for late night dinner. Our server was really nice. The food came out quickly, and tasted fine. I'm not a huge fan of ramen, but my husband and kids thought it was good.

Ramen were so small, bought a Spicy Vegan Miso Ramen. Loads of vegetables, not enough ramen and all you can taste is the hot sauce in the soup. No flavor. Expensive compare to other Japanese places. Rice taste like instant rice from a box. Good service.

I might be slightly biased because I miss East Borough, the restaurant this place is replacing. But the ramen wasn't very flavorful. I went with the miso broth as recommended, even so not all that great. Portions are big, we could have shared a bowl. Also they've got a bar, but their non alcoholic drinks were out of a can.

Ordered the vegan spicy ramen and it was THE most flavor-less bowl of noodles I've ever eaten. We used a whole bottle of soy sauce and still just spicy water. I asked why it was so bland and she said.. its made with hot water 😖😔😱🤯 . They need to step their broth game up! And 45$ for two bowls and some fries #neveragain
