"A growing trend of casual ramen noodle restaurants continues to flourish in Henderson and newcomer Ramen Belly has debuted its own concept that allows customers to customize each bowl, or salad, with as many as 30 different toppings. Located at the Retail Shops at Sunset, close to the intersection of Stephanie Street and Sunset Road, the counter-service space replaces a roomy, former 3,226-square-foot Pei Wei restaurant. Family owned Ramen Belly prepares all its own noodles and broths daily inside an open plan, on-site noodle room. Available for dine-in delivery, and takeout, ramen bowls, soba salads, and rice bowls can be upgraded from a roster of toppings featuring mushrooms, tofu, pork belly, chicken chashu, egg, bamboo shoots, baby bak choy, and truffle salt, plus a choice of of tonkotsu, miso, shio, shoyu, or vegetarian broths. Joining Japanese beverages of Yakult, Calpico, and the marble-stoppered Ramune, the collection of side dishes includes gyoza, chicken karaage, fried wontons, Japanese spring rolls, and a Hawaiian-style fried rice, created with spam, bacon, and braised pork belly." - Bradley Martin

First off, love the logo. Despite the review I will be leaving, I'd love to buy a merch shirt if they invest in them. Saw this place as I was leaving an appointment from the plaza and later returned with my bf because we are Ramen enthusiasts. Inside was very modern and large. We were not greeted upon entry but no biggie, some of the workers looked focused on their tasks. The restaurant was not busy at the time. The menu had a decent amount of items and the prices were decent. I loved the idea of picking out your broth choice, toppings, and sides. Service rating is a 4.5 stars for me because the lady attending us was very friendly and polite. Food rating will be a 2 stars; my bf had the miso and I had the shio but one thing we could agree on is that both broth's were quite bland and generic. Even with hot chili oil. The rolled pork chasu was bland and had no taste to it. Now, what was delicious was the fried rice! Unfortunately, it won't be enough for us to come back. Suggestions would be to work on flavoring the broth's more and the pork chasu. Perhaps add spicy meat to give the ramen more heat then Sriracha packets or hot chili oil. If this is implemented, I'd be interested in giving this place another shot. Those looking for amazing ramen joints, try Ramen Sora or Ramen Tatsu.

This place replaced where Pei Wei was. Another ramen house. This location Has an advantage, you get to walk the line and pick each item you want added. How awesome is that? Staff is super helpful explaining there menu, food was great. Help support local business owners and get yourselves in this place. ENJOY!

If your looking for a higher quality Ramen, not some MSG filled pre-made stuff, Ramen Belly is the place. The owner is really friendly & explained how much time they spend preparing each ingredient/part of the ramen. The pork belly was really tender & well cooked. They gave me a hefty portion of homemade noodles & the broth was on point. Really great value for the price. Love this place.

I ordered vegetarian ramen & spring rolls today and unfortunately I was not happy with anything. Not only did I not get any boiled eggs. The broth was so bland. My carrots were not cooked thoroughly. Overall not one ounce of flavor! I called to let them know but from the sound of it I don’t think they cared about my honest review. I order ramen from a lot of different restaurants and this one let me down big time. I will not be going back. So sad

I was super excited to try this place. Unfortunately, I am very disappointed 😔 First off, let me start by saying one good thing the people working here were friendly and the place looked very clean inside BUT I’m very disappointed with the portion of the edamame and very Stingy with their broth portion also. They did not even fill up half the box/container AND the worst part is the edamame were SOO DRY, you can definitely tell they have been sitting there at least all day. I couldn’t even eat them because they tasted horrible. The ramen was okay but like others have stated very bland broth. I do not think I will be returning. I regret even leaving a tip...

Ramen is good. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. If you have a problem, they do their best to make it right. My recommendation: Order some fresh karaage and I GUARANTEE YOU it will melt in your mouth IT IS SO GOOD! Make the ramen your own, be exciting with it.

I thought I give this a try even with the bad reviews I seen. They weren’t kidding... vegetables were mostly cold and not cooked long enough. The vegetarian soup was nasty not good flavor cream like texture not like typical ramen. My bf who got chicken flavor did not like it either. I was so hungry I ended up just eating at five guys. So sad and disappointing ...
