Ramen Go in Venice is where Osteria Venice West used to be, literally right off the boardwalk. “Go” means 5 in Japanese and that’s the address, which is kind of fun. I tell you what’s not fun though, their ramen. Amateur hour over here. Supposedly operated by a Japanese man utilizing home recipes, although upon inquiring about that to the waiter, he had no clue where this man is or has been for quite some time and not Japanese person in sight. It did feel home style but plain as plain could be with a very spaghetti like noodle. The other food items may be fine but way too many good ramenoptions now on the west side to go out of the way to eat here, not to mention a bowl was $16! This is a beef bone soy sauce as they called it, which is super random and came with very poorly presented sides. Unless you happen to be on the boardwalk and need noodles like, immediately, it’s a pass on this joint. They don’t even offer the ramen they have on the sign out front! No Go on Ramen Go. It gets a 2 🍜 🍜 bowl rating out the elusive 5 BOWL RATING! #claysramengame on Instagram for LA ramen reviews #ramen #noodles #tonkotsu #shoyu #shio #miso #chashu #broth #chopsticks #hashi #venice
