"This long-serving ramen shop is loved by Japanese people for its “Three Great Ramens”: soy-sauce, salt and miso. First-time visitors are recommended to order the soy-sauce ramen, but once you learn that the Hokkaido-born chef studied in Sapporo, you might be tempted to go for the miso ramen. The soy-sauce ramen is served in a double soup of meat-based stock and seafood-based stock. “Ura-Shoyu”, the ‘hidden soy-sauce ramen’ not listed on the menu, uses meat-based stock only. If you’re having trouble deciding, start with the ‘official’ menu." - Michelin Inspector

Delicious food, great service. I came in before opening to an already full restaurant and a line of 3 people. Took 20 minutes to be seated. The worker helping the cook takes your order while you're in line, and seats you as soon as seats open up. Getting the food is quick, and the food is amazingly good.

I waited in line for a freaking hour and a half, and then he told me I had a scent on me—didn’t know if it was perfume or body wash—so they refused to serve us. That’s seriously messed up. First time I’ve ever encountered a restaurant like this. If Google reviews could be promoted with money, I’d definitely advertise this place for free.

I visited them once in Jan 2020 before the pandemic, it was so delicious that I couldn't get it out of my mind. Finally went back again this year April. After queuing for almost an hour and finally was in the front, the lady showed me a note asking if I'm wearing perfume. It so happened, I did that day. I was refused entry. reason being the chef is allergic to fragrance. I was was disappointed, as I was in Osaka for only a day and really wanted to eat their Ramen before I leave and I couldnt!! while I don't blame the chef for having allergies, it would have been most helpful if there's a signage showing, perfume wearer will be refused entry. rather than waited for us to be infront of the queue (the last time I q for 3 hrs) then asked us. it would have make things easier, and my trip wouldn't be wasted. So guys, remember, if you wanna eat there, and I must say its totally worth the queue, DON"T WEAR ANY PERFUME!!

As good as Miso gets. The Sichuan pepper adds another dimension without overpowering. Pork chashu + braised pork chunks were flavourful and melt in your mouth. Truly outstanding bowl.

We waited for 40 minutes to get seated, arrived at 1.25 and got in to the restaurant at 2.05pm. Ordered miso ramen and shoyu (chicken). Both tasted amazing! The staff were nice too, she gave us their umbrella for free as it was pouring as we left.

Listed under the Michelin budget guide of 2016 - 2018, for a reason Expect a long wait since there are only 8 seats. The ramen is worth it though. Miso ramen with a hint of yuzu. As for additional toppings they have an egg and Char Siu. Great experience of you're looking for a miso ramen, they also serve shouyu (soy sauce) and shio (salt) based ramen.

I am a Japnaese ramen fan. We arrived and already in queue at 10:20am. I was having such an expectation for this ramen as it looks like a very popular restaurant. Unfortunately, like what people say, expectation results in disappointment, huge disappointment! Not to mention the disrespctful service from the chef, the ramen itself is just in a very ordinary quality. Extremely salty soup, noodles are too soft, Pork with just fat. The lady serving in the restaurant is good (at least with a smile and polite)

Amazing ramen... best I’ve had. Opens at 11 and closes when they run out, which can definitely be before 4 so go early! We waited an hour in the rain— totally worth it. The people were so friendly and accommodating to a dangerous allergy despite a language barrier. It was a great experience!
