The noodles are flat, thick and quite soft. Generously optioned.
My son had an 大盛り (bigger potion of noodles) and the bowl is also bigger physically and the said bigger potion is huge. Other son had the Charsiu noodles & the famously enormous Charsiu pieces were excellent. They were tender, juicy and cooked and flavoured to perfection. Broth is Shoyu and crystal clear. Thick braised bamboo, spinach and amazing Charsiu, nori. Simple Showa style.
Personally I like my noodles a bit more al dente. But it is personal preference.
You buy ticket at the entrance and give them to the staff when seated. We had to wait but very little. Ramen is meant to be eaten quickly and we don’t hang around chatting in Ramen places - there are more suitable places for this (please respect this culture.)
Service is polite and quick, place is very clean and chefs in all whites makes me feel this is quite sophisticated for a ramen.
