"If you don’t mind a line, then Ramen Nagi is a solid option for flavorful ramen and a dynamic dining experience. With bar seating and an open kitchen, the restaurant is small but welcoming.  The shop is acclaimed for its highly customizable menu, as diners can choose the levels of salt, broth density, noodle doneness, selection of meat, and extra toppings. The Original King, followed by the Red, Black, and Green King, are some of the most commonly ordered bowls, which each embody different flavor profiles as varied iterations of classic tonkotsu ramen." - Paolo Bicchieri, Cathy Park

We had a great meal at Ramen Nagi in Valley Fair! I loved how customizable the ramen bowls were—you can adjust saltiness, oil level, firmness of noodles, and even choose your veggies (I picked cabbage!). I ordered the Red King with Japan Style Egg, and it was rich, bold, and full of flavor. The Black King and Original King were also fantastic in their own way. We also had Karaage Chicken, which was crispy and juicy. The staff were polite and friendly, and the overall vibe was warm and efficient, even during busy hours. Definitely a spot to revisit when you’re craving a satisfying bowl of ramen.

Delicious ramen shop. The meal goes by quick, but be prepared to queue up for 30 minutes, give or take. The place is popular, so the crowds are typical, but it's more due to a small footprint and limited seating. Nothing unusual, just typical offerings for this type of cuisine. The broth is excellent and the extra soft boiled egg went well with the dish. Service was fast and efficient. Staff are friendly and courteous. Prices are comparable with other similar eateries.

Great Ramen, was not disappointed at all. The line to wait is long, but thats to be expected when a restaurant has great food. We were in and out in 30 minutes and the food was delivered to the table quickly. We would definitely go again, but there is also a couple other Ramen places close by that we would like to try.

There is always a line for this ramen shop. I've been to the Palo Alto location as well and it's the same situation. Dinner time on a Tuesday, the line isn't bad and it felt like we didn't wait too long (probably 15 mins). Before you get in, there is a staff that goes to the line, gives you a paper menu and a marker, and shows you a picture of what the ramen looks like. She was nice and gave an explanation of what the broth looks like. In line, I asked about a second slip for a To-go order and she said the server will help me inside. My friend asked about the vegetarian broth but if substituting some stuff like the cabbage or green onion will cost extra. She was not really clear about it. We got seated and my friend asked about the substitution. Long story short, it would cost extra. I asked about to-go order and they said they don't do to-go orders but they have to-go containers so I would have to order a new set and box it up myself. Fine I guess. We didn't have our own water jug and we were the only one we didn't have one and it seems like we were frequently ignored. In terms of the ramen, it's fine. It tasted good but I wouldn't wait in line for it to be quite honest. There are better ramen spots in town that have less of a line. A great one I usually recommend is the ramen shop inside of Mitsua marketplace. There are sets and it comes with sides so it feels like a complete meal. Overall if the line is very short, I would go for this ramen shop, but I would not recommend not waiting in line for this

Had heard so much about Ramen Nagi but was always put off by the lines. After many years, finally decided it's time to try it, and oh God, it was so good and so worth it, I visited twice in two weeks, despite the long line. I timed our wait times (both visits on weekends) and it was about an hour each time. Wait times aside, the Ramen there is so good, I can't describe it in words. My favorite is the Red King, and it is such a flavor bomb, you just have to try it yourself. The Original King is great too if you prefer a not-as spicier version, although I found it a bit bland if comparing to Red King. The Karaage is really juicy and crispy. You can customize your Ramen however you like it, and that makes the experience even better. Can't recommend enough!

It is always a long wait. We went there on a weekday and stood in the queue. They don't allow Togo, so order appropriately. 1 bowl was sufficient for 2 people. They allow splitting of the bowl. Some other restaurants don't. So this was good. They ask for your order upfront, so it does save time. They have a vegan option. Overall, a good place to try.

Conveniently located in the mall, the wait tends to be long. They close at 2pm and they open again at5 pmm. If you missed the opening time seating, pretty much you will need to wait for someone to finish their meal. Small, limited seating. So, plan ahead. The food is excellent. Since it is a small chain, food is consistent in different locations. You get to choose exactly what you want from the broth to noodles. + info + Monday is a good time to visit. Line was very manageable. Arrived at 4:45pm, and was seated when they open at 5pm.

We visited this place on the special occasion of Mother’s Day because everyone in my family loves ramen. While we didn’t enjoy the karaage chicken, both ramen dishes were delicious. The only downside was the limited vegetarian options—there was just one veggie ramen on the menu, and the rest were pork-based. I wish there had been more variety for vegetarians. Overall, though, it was a good experience.
