Had Ramen, Naruto Buns, Tacoyaki and Calamari. Everything was fresh and delicious! Prices are reasonable, too. Lunch for 3 was only $33.33. We'll definitely plan to go back.

Google
The naruto 66 ramen is seriously a special treat. The broth is delicious, that ramen is complete with the right ingredients, and the noodles are perfect! Service from Ian was amazingly pleasant! We love this spot great authentic flavors!

Google
Very delicious Raman spot. My server was very nice. The place was clean. I had the tonkotsu ramen with extra veggies. And veggie spring roll.

Google
Not sure about the high rating. Probably the worst bowl of ramen I’ve ever had, and I’ve had hundreds. Soup and meat had a weird taste and unappetizing color, noodle itself has ok texture. Will never return.

Google
First and Last time here… only redeemable aspects of the restaurant would by the atmosphere and the prices but in all honesty, my son and I try new ramen places every now and then and wanted to try this since it’s close to home but is by far the worst. Overly salty broth, chashu bowl was too salty as well and the service was very poor as well, no advising where to sit and poor attitude overall, won’t be returning .

Google
Im a ramen enthusiast and look into very much into quality, specially the broth. This right here, is grade A garbage, customer service was bad, took a while for the server to notice me and it was an empty sunday, i had to literally go up to the server as i was confused and thought i had to order with her since it was taking so long, same thing happened when i had to pay. The ramen literally tastes like some fancied up instant ramen. The broth is not creamy as a tonkotsu needs be. Would def recommend anywhere else but here.

Google
The quick review: Fantastic ramen, personable customer service and great value for your hard earned money! The Longer Version: I’ve been coming to Ramen Naruto for the past few months. Regardless of whether or not it was a cold and rainy winter night or a warm summer evening, the ramen here has always made me feel satisfied. While I typically don’t enjoy consuming hot soup during the hotter days of spring and summer, I always make an exception for this place as it’s always delicious. Everytime I come here, I always order the same soup: the Naruto 66. The ramen is delicious as it has a great amount of savory toppings and a flavorful broth that provides the perfect amount of saltiness. (Occasionally I’ll pivot and get their poke bowl, which is still great and gets the same amount of consideration to attention as the ramen.) Other items that can compliment any ramen bowl can also include popcorn shrimp, gyoza and (my personal favorite out of all these items) potato croquettes. There's just something about these croquettes that are better than, say, hash browns or fries. They’re crispy on the outside but remain fluffyon the inside. Besides the ramen, another small thing that I appreciate is the consistency of my visits every time I come here. The ramen, along with the other dishes, are always prepared consistently well and are complimented by great customer service. Shingo, the owner of the store, tries his best to come check up on us along with the other customers to make sure everything is running smoothly and that we are enjoying the food. During one of my visits when I was particularly sad since I had to put down my dog, one of the waitresses that I had seen often asked why I was sad and, after explaining this, provided me with a free dessert after my meal, which made me feel a little more cheerful! It made me appreciate the customer service even more and made this place feel like a home away from home. On top of all of this, the shop itself, while small, is pretty cool with the certain niches it contains! I love the various Naruto posters and DVD cases that are hanged around the store along with TVs actually streaming various episodes of Naruto for the diners to enjoy. Also, it feels welcoming and cozy due to its size and the welcoming atmosphere the staff provides. While some of the quirkiness of the store may not appeal to everybody (sadly), I personally enjoy it as it adds uniqueness to the dining experience that is not available at many places. Since the shop is also smaller, seating can be limited at times. Despite this issue, the shop is usually able to keep up with the increasing demand and get everybody in and out in a timely manner to ensure everyone gets to enjoy this experience. Thank you to everyone at Ramen Naruto for providing me with an excellent experience these past few months! (Side note: I’m looking forward to visiting your new location in Monrovia!)

Google
Really enjoyed my meal at Naruto Ramen! The seafood ramen was a standout, brimming with rich flavors and fresh ingredients. While everything was tasty, there's a slight room for improvement in other areas. Nevertheless, a solid 4 stars and I'll certainly be back!

Yelp
I've enjoyed eating here. I don't go often as I am one who doesn't get full eating soups which ramen to my digestive system treats the same as soup. But I love coming here when it rains and its cold outside and I get a nice Naruto66 to warm and fill me up. The portions are great and it does fill me up for a while with all the meat included with the ramen. I've taken family members here to enjoy this with me and they love it as well. Thank you!

Katie R.

Yelp
Located in the Stater Bros shopping center, I've eaten here once and have done takeout a couple of times. There's plenty of parking but if you must do take out, then you'll appreciate their very convenient packing for to go orders so your noodles don't get soggy. I usually get the Tonkotsu shoyu ramen. Their broth is decently flavorful and I enjoy their al dente thick noodles. It is not my favorite ramen place, but it's a ramen place that is conveniently close to me and can satisfy my craving. There's good seating inside and their service has yet to disappoint me.

Rachel K.

Yelp
Everything about this place deserves absolutely 0 stars. 1. Walked in and the place smelled very strongly of cleaning supplies. Typically I would leave immediately and find a new spot, but my family was tired and not in the mood to find a new place to eat. 2. The music is SO LOUD. Quite literally blasting in our ear. Asked our server to turn it down a bit (since the restaurant was empty at this time) she said no because the kitchen staff gets mad at her for lowering the volume. So we moved to a new table at the front of the restaurant which was better. 3. Ordered our apps and they came out 30 seconds before our main entrees. 4. The ramen itself was awful. Noodles were stiff and old. The broth was weird and also gross. No one loved the food. Very disappointed through and through.

Daniel A.

Yelp
Got there right before the rush. We had a great server who had some good recommendations and was very attentive. I needed veggie ramen to get over a cold. Vegetable Miso Ramen hit the spot! Came out nice and hot. Wife got the same but added chicken broth for a change in flavor. We got a side of rice for the kiddos and Naruto buns (my kid ate the bun and left the rest for us). Nice spot, with good service, my wife and kids all felt satisfied.

Joel C.

Yelp
Weird flavored ramen, don't recommend you try that dish. Just didn't taste like traditional ramen

Lauren T.

Yelp
Came here with a larger group (6 people) & they were very accommodating. I ordered the shoyu tonkotsu ramen. I liked how you can customize spice levels! (1-5) I got a level 3, but I didn't find it too spicy & could've gone higher. As for the ramen, it was mediocre. I probably would've rated this place 2 stars if it weren't for the service and friendly waitresses. The ramen didn't come out super hot & the toppings were mushy & kinda cold. Nothing in the ramen tasted fresh. The chashu meat was also so chewy that I didn't even eat it. Basically, the ramen seemed like a bunch of things from cans thrown into the soup (canned corn, bamboo, etc) I would skip this place if you are looking for authentic ramen.

Ray L.

Yelp
This restaurant uses Naruto as their gimmick for ramen. I must say that it's a mix review of good and bad so it is really worth just a 3 star. The spring rolls were fairly good so it was off to a good start, but the ramen noodle was another story. At first it looks great that they included corn, fungus mushrooms, and large amount of chasu for the bowl, however, the noodle was undercooked, the broth was lukewarm, the bamboo was sour as it came straight out of a can (which probably was). There was also no egg. If I'm paying $13 per small bowl of ramen at least include 1/2 egg please. Service was good, the waiter checked in with me frequently. Without the Naruto gimmick this place is really just sub-par. They should have exploited the interior with more Naruto art of toys but I only saw it one Naruto toy. Overall a bit disappointing for the visit.

Maya H.

Yelp
Our new ramen spot! Came here for the first time after hearing so much about it and it did not disappoint! The flavors are so good, the service is fast and the prices are fair. Highly recommend coming here, you will love it.

Timothy M.

Yelp
Food is always on point, from the broth, to the noodles, to the toppings, and appetizers. The staff and service are always friendly and they always make sure your cups aren't empty and check up on you when needed. Ambience is very nice. Always got good music playing whether it's EDM, hip hop, piano, and anything in between. It's always a vibe here and I will always come back whenever I crave ramen. Thank you Ramen Naruto

Nimsy L.

Yelp
DISAPPOINTED... Our soups were cold!!! We notified our server, and our soups were reheated in the microwave!!! The bowls were piping hot and eggs were rubbery afterwards... How do you charge +$15 for a microwaved soup?!?

Julie D.

Yelp
Great find by my friend who has driven by them during her daily commute. We decided to get our food via the drive thru knowing full well there could be a wait. Our intention was to get ramen because it was cold, but we both ended up getting the curry plate. Both with katsu. My food was gone within minutes as soon as we sat down. That curry was wow. It was well worth the wait. The chicken was perfectly crispy and juicy. We both paired our meals with the banana peppers from in n out. I highly recommend you do the same. I'm coming back for your ramen. Shame on me for forgetting to take photos.

Jojo A.

Yelp
Lady at the cash register is so rude... no need to roll your eyes and make fists at the air for something ididnt know for a place i never come to . Get a new job if you hate people food was good but the attitude was the worst.

Candace Angelica S.

Yelp
We moved to Covina, my childhood neighborhood, from Koreatown recently. Decided to stop here on a whim and was impressed. First off, parking is plentiful. It's so nice to be in the suburbs again and not have to always pay for parking. Upon arrival we were greeted by Ian, who seated us promptly. He was super kind, knowledgeable and helpful. My husband and I were impressed. I'm not sure if he was the owner but with how professional he was, I would think he was. Give that man a raise! As a former server, I understand how to work a room and that is exactly what he did--one server for a whole restaurant. As for the food, we ordered a calamari appetizer and two tonkatsu shiro. It hit the spot! I was happy that it was only $12.95 each, what a steal. The restaurant had a very laid back vibe, and the playlist had some mood fitting tunes. We will definitely be back. Love Naruto anime and now, the restaurant.

Renie S.

Yelp
The place has clearly gone downhill. The name means nothing and doesn't correlate to the decor. The food is decent enough but I wouldn't rush back before trying other places first. The service is wonderful or else I got super lucky with a guy who was very attentive when I got an incorrect order.

Ernie M.

Yelp
First time visit was spot on. Great ramen perfect on a cool evening. Ramen was full of flavor with great amount of chicken vegetables and noodles. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We will be back!

Lewisl L.

Yelp
I've been coming to Naruto for the past 3, 4 years regularly. Think they've changed chefs in the past year or so (the taste was just a bit 'off' from my last visit), so today I decided to drop in for one more taste. Ordered the tonkotsu miso. Noodle texture was perfect and on point, soup tasted good. Instead of the usual silent anime on tv in the past now we have rock music videos (AC/DC, Ozzy, Guns N' Roses) on blast @ volume level 7. All this I can take... What was totally unacceptable for me was the soup temperature - it was lukewarm warm. I don't know what would be the reason/ justification to let the soup NOT be piping hot, but that's a total letdown from a ramen joint. Chashu pork slice portion was generous, but didn't taste great. It's a shame. Service was good and the server was attentive.

Markus Y.

Yelp
This used to be our favorite ramen place years ago when we used to live close by. We were around the area and were excited to eat there again with the whole family. Decoration has been changed and I think it's better but was surprised with the food. It isn't that good anymore. We've been here so many times and still remember how it tasted but something was off. We approached the server and we were informed that it's now under a new owner. They claimed that it's still the same ingredients and way of cooking but all of us especially my kids really tasted the difference. Something was off with their broth as well, I think it's too watered down and not that creamy anymore. Anyway, so sad, this favorite place of ours is out of our list now. Staff were nice but they'll need to check how they prepare and cook their ramen again.

Desiree H.

Yelp
New menu, same deliciousness. The curry was spicier than before, which made it that much more tasty! Seated fast, super friendly servers and greeters. It was a great dinner. The restaurant temperature was perfect, making it easy to eat ramen any day.

Marie R.

Yelp
Our family used to go to Ramen Naruto any time we craved ramen. But recently it changed ownership, and the quality of the food has drastically gone down. Additionally, the prices have gone up so we will not be going here anymore. It's unfortunate. We lost a good place but we have a lot of good memories. The last time we were there, we were served by staff that stayed on with the new ownership and she's very nice. I wish her well. Beware of quality of food.

Lorena R.

Yelp
I've always loved this place but I'm beyond irritated. I called just before 1:30 to confirm business hours. I was told they closed at 9pm today, I drive 45 minutes and they are closed. This is a poor way to run business. I can't say I'll be back any time soon

Anne Marie M.

Yelp
Me and the boyfriend tried this place for the first time tonight. Definitely a must try! We've had a lot of Ramen and nothing really tickles our fancy. He's always a good sport but I'm never really satisfied with the exception of tonight. We were really apprehensive in trying a new place but our server Ian really helped and guided us throughout the entire menu. I got the R8 which he explained was the most popular (chicken broth) choice and my boyfriend got the Route 66 (pork broth) both were exceptional. The wavy noodles are my favorite when enjoying Ramen and boy were theirs fantastic! I got a level 3 spice level which was spicy but just right. Definitely coming back!

Ed L.

Yelp
Great flavors and I would come again to try their other ramens. Came in town for the weekend and felt like ramen for dinner. This place was close to my hotel so decided to give it a try. The place was a good size and already had half the tables filled when we arrived. We were seated quickly and gave the server it orders soon after, which were their signature Naruto66 ramen (level 1 spicy) and Tonkotsu shiro ramen. The only thing I would complain about is the time we had to wait; 20+ mins for two bowls of ramen felt too long. This was true for most of the other tables I noticed. When the noodles came, they looked really good and we dug right in. The wavy noodles were cooked just right and I especially liked the thin noodles in the Tonkotsu shiro ramen that reminds me of those found in Japan. The broth was nice and thick and very tasty. The chashu was cut very thin but came with many slices, and they had a good amount of both lean and fat parts. With black mushrooms, eggs, and scallions they completed a delicious bowl of ramen!

Lacey L.

Yelp
Ordered the Spicy Miso Ramen, Seafood Ramen, and the Karaage. Let's just say the previous management at Ramen Naruto is 1000 times better than the current management. First off, service was lacking. We walked in and the female server didn't even acknowledge us. We had to sit ourselves before she came over. The previous management made sure someone was welcoming even if there was a line. As we were waiting for our food, more people came in and the male in the kitchen had to ring a bell multiple times for the female server to tell the customers where to sit. What a joke. The Spicy Miso Ramen was nasty. I've never had such bad ramen ever. The spice was there, but I didn't taste any miso at all. Where's the miso in the MISO broth?! The pork chasu was super thin and tasted old. The Tokyo Central Market chasu is waaaaaaay better and thicker. The Seafood Ramen was just bad. None do the seafood was fresh. In fact, the broth tasted like canned vegetable broth mixed with a bit of heavy cream to cover up the frozen seafood. What a shame! I really miss the previous management and their delicious ramen! The Karaage was bland and not good at all. Pieces of chicken was waaaaaaay too big and the color was waaaaaaay too pale. Pretty sure they're not using panko. Gave us a teeny bit of the spicy sauce on the side to dip. Should have given us a bowl of the sauce since we had to dip it in the ramen broth just to add some sodium to it. They changed the Naruto feel of the restaurant entirely. Sure, the anime is still on TV, but the wallpaper is not the same anymore. Avoid at all cost! Save yourself some money and go down a couple blocks to Rakuten Ramen instead. That's the best ramen spot in this college town if you don't want to travel past Azusa.

Emily P.

Yelp
This is the best ramen I have had in the area! I so wish it was closer to me but I never mind the drive for the vegan miso ramen!!

Jose C.

Yelp
I always loved this place! Super delectable, amazing aromas, the ramen was to die for! I came back today after so many months and what a disappointment. They changed their menu(again), and although the is similar to the last, the food is not the same, AT ALL!! I'm Mexican, I know what frijoles taste like and the Chicken Katsu Curry I ate with the sauce tasted like pure frijoles.....before it has so many aromas and it had pork pieces on the sauce.... Place looks good, but food was not the same. Not even the gyoza. Even that sauce was changed.

Mark R.

Yelp
Parking: Ramen Naruto is conveniently located in a plaza with plenty of parking space. Service: The service at Ramen Naruto was highly disappointing, and as a result, we have given it a one-star review. We stood patiently for 30 minutes, waiting for someone to simply acknowledge our presence. Despite the restaurant being busy, a simple greeting or estimated wait time would have been appreciated. We witnessed a group of people leaving, which left an open table. However, none of the waiters or servers paid any attention to it, which left us confused. We decided to give it an additional 15 minutes, hoping that they would inform us that the table was available and being cleaned, but no such communication was made. Eventually, we made the decision to leave. Food & Atmosphere: The Naruto-themed ambiance of Ramen Naruto was a standout feature. The wall mural and TV screens playing episodes of Naruto created an immersive experience for fans of the show. However, due to the disappointing service and our choice to dine elsewhere, we could not fully enjoy the atmosphere. Unfortunately, we cannot provide feedback on the quality of the food as we did not have the opportunity to try it. Overall Rating: We can only give Ramen Naruto a one-star rating out of five due to the highly disappointing service and lack of professionalism. The lack of attention, along with witnessing the staff's disregard for other customers' needs, left us with a negative impression of the restaurant. We will update this review if we decide to revisit it in the future. Attached are pictures featuring the wall mural and a TV showing Naruto, as well as where we were standing while waiting for service that never came. I have also attached the menu. Date and Time of Visit: June 2023 on a Sunday at 7:30 pm.

Elizabeth R.

Yelp
AMAZING customer service!! Manager was super nice the food was delicious!! Especially the gyoza appetizer!!

Shaun C.

Yelp
Food quality is poor, the eel is from China, smelly. Plastic black dishes and bows are served... Absolutely not recommended

Alyssa A.

Yelp
Being going to this spot for over 4 years And it's Still the best.. in fact I don't know why I even try other Ramen places when I just end up comparing them to Ramen Naruto. Try the Naruto 66, level 3 if you can handle the spice. As well as the garlic edamame!!

Elwin C.

Yelp
I love Ramen and this place did not disappoint. The broth was delicious. The service was also great.

Amber P.

Yelp
Yummy in my tummy! Came here on our way home from snowboarding in the mountains. We needed something warm and spicy & Ramen Naruto delivered! I believe I ordered a tonkatsu miso, but I may be wrong. Nevertheless, it was delicious. My boyfriend ordered the Naruto ramen with a spice level of 3, and the broth was good too! We would've handled a spice level of 5, but anything past that would've hurt later hehe. Their ramen with a side of beer was a delight.

Veronica R.

Yelp
Ive been coming here for over a year and the food is amazing! Ive tried other Ramen spots but none compare to this place. this service is fast and the staff are friendly. The egg is the best part!! 10/10 recommend.

Jaziel C.

Yelp
Place was for sure MID. Had the "Naruto 66" veggies was cold, broth was mid, noodles mid, overall mid. For sure super loud music in the background inside this joint.

Keya S.

Yelp
I wasn't impressed by this place. My neighbor recommended we go and bring a local business we thought why not. The service was great, portions small and for the price I was impressed at all. There were many better local ramen places to visit. I'll not come back here after they charged $4 for a small handful of Edamame. The quality of the ramen was actually good. It was just small portioned for the price and service wasn't all that. I'm glad we tried it, I won't be back!

Adilene N.

Yelp
Finally going back after they took away my favorite veggie shoyu R9 thanks to Jose the server who took the time and to remember my order as I've been ordering it for 10 years there! The ambiance has changed so much but I am so glad that Jose is still there keeping the same vibe and same genuine caring for their customers! Thank you Jose!! I'll definitely start going back again after the combination of soups and bases that he told me to pick in order to get that same savory taste I enjoyed about the R9! :)

Justine U.

Yelp
I went with my family here for the first time. I do not remember our servers name but she was kinda young but the customer service was bad. She was very awkward and even though she was wearing a mask, it was very hard to hear her. She spoke so low. Every time we asked for refill she would give us hot soda with no ice and every time we had to ask for a cup of ice. When we asked about the menu she wasn't very knowledgeable, she was very slow when it came to things , besides that the food wasn't very satisfying. Unfortunately we will not be going back.

Sarai A.

Yelp
Love it here! The ramen is so good and super relaxing place to eat! The restroom area is cool too, they cool naruto decorations. Service is always friendly and quick , never had any problems

Tarbita T.

Yelp
Yummmm Tasty! Perfect for rainy days. This place never disappoints, service is great even when it's packed and busy. Whenever I order for takeout it is always very fast.

Karakerei K.

Yelp
Really enjoyed my meal at Naruto Ramen! The seafood ramen was a standout, brimming with rich flavors and fresh ingredients. While everything was tasty, there's a slight room for improvement in other areas. Nevertheless, a solid 4 stars and I'll certainly be back!

Stanley C.

Yelp
Simple and delicious ramen for a quick fix. Quality smack dab in the middle that it doesn't disappoint nor blow you away. It's good enough to bring the family for lunch or dinner. Place is not usually crowded so that's a plus. It's great for the price and as a plus, it is Naruto themed so that can be fun. Naruto episodes also running in the tv inside the restaurant for fans.

E L.

Yelp
We love Ramen Naruto! Our go to spot for ramen, and we are never disappointed. We love the veggie miso ramen. Staff is always so sweet and friendly, and the quality is great!

Kim K.

Yelp
Didn't even finish. Overpriced for what you get. Not much flavor to the pork broth and ridiculous prices for just a half an egg. We ordered it to go. Maybe it would have been better had we eaten at the restaurant.

David C.

Yelp
Solid local ramen with some nice touches. Love that they offer, pork, chicken and veggie broth options. Big win since my GF doesn't eat pork. Chicken broth actually had a little more flavor than the pork, in my opinion. Neither of us thought our respective meats had much flavor though. Somewhat of an afterthought, which is a shame. I'm a meat lover and didn't try to finish all mine. I ordered the Naruto 66, heat level 4 of 5, which does come with extra pork as promised and was a pretty large serving. Wasn't that spicy in my opinion and will try the 5 next time. My GF the Tori shoyu with heat level of 2 of 5. Was probably just right for her, but spice level wasn't much different than mine. The chicken Karrage appetizer was a winner. Place is close by and decent enough to try a few more options and will tweak the spice level and broth options. Maybe miso will have more flavor. All in all, a good local ramen spot that will do the job when your craving ramen.

Sannie M.

Yelp
Came to this place with my mom for the first time and honestly did not disappoint. The prices were very reasonable and the portions were enough to make me and my mom full. The food looked great and tasted great. Karaage (it was suuuuper juicy), shrimp tempura, and takoyaki were very crispy. The pork katsu was very crispy as well. My mom ordered the tonkatsu shoyu (I sadly didn't get a pic ) and it was wonderful. Service was great. Before we left, I asked for a cup to fill up my soda to go, and I honestly just wanted to finish my soda that I had left. The kind waitress offered to give me a refill for my cup before I go, so it was appreciated greatly. We look forward to coming back soon.

Darren H.

Yelp
This place had a solid turnaround in the past couple months. Great Ramen and appetizers. Fast service. Beer on the menu (though sadly no pitchers or large beer and a very simple menu). This shop has had a rough patch so I've been pleasantly surprised the last couple visits this summer at the return to quality. Also they got Naruto episodes back up on the TV again.

Brittney A.

Yelp
The service was great. If I was rating based on service I would give 5 stars. However, the food was not up to my standards. The broth had little to no flavor for the tonkotsu soyu with level 2 spicy. The pork chashu was good though. It was hot inside, as the kitchen is open to your view. The gyoza were tasty and the chicken katsu was good but they don't cut off the fat so I didn't eat it all.

David C.

Yelp
Can I write "tasty and comforting" over and over? The go to local ramen shop. We love it on a cold day. Call ahead for Togo orders if possible. You may stand outside for 15min.

Wayne O.

Yelp
We ordered a delivery of ramen and was pleasantly surprised that it traveled well. It had cooled off some but was still quite edible. Glendora is a vast wasteland for Japanese food so when Naruto first opened, we were pleased with the quality of the food. The owner was a fellow from Japan and he knew what he was doing. Unfortunately, it seems he sold the business and I don't know what happened to him. The quality is not quite the same but it's decent. To give you an idea of my standards, Kouraku on 2nd St. in Little Tokyo is my "go to" place. More locally, Yukinoya in Arcadia and Tamaya in Hacienda Heights are pretty decent.

Erik A.

Yelp
Firstly I would like to mention that the male server who attended me was super attentive, courteous, and helpful when trying to decide on what to get since it was my first time eating there made me feel cared for :) the food is very reasonably priced and gets made relatively fast which is nice because I was starving for the flavor of the ramen and curry it was a solid 7.5-8/10 definitely will be coming back for when I need a fix
