I visited Ramo’s Kitchen in Kingston some time ago with friends, following a recommendation from a Turkish friend. I ordered the chicken shish, which came with two skewers, rice, and a salad, costing around £20.
The food was tasty and felt authentic. While it wasn’t anything over the top, it was still enjoyable and well cooked. The main downside was the portion size, which felt a little small for the price.
That said, the atmosphere was great and the hospitality really stood out. Staff were welcoming and attentive, which made the overall experience very pleasant.
Overall, it’s a solid Turkish dining spot with good food and excellent service. With slightly better value for money, it would easily be a five-star experience.
