This was by far the best dining experience I have ever had! My boyfriend and I went here for his birthday back in December, and let me tell you- it has been a daily conversation since! From telling others how beautiful the establishment was, to how much we enjoyed the food, all the way down to how special we felt...it was truly one of those "experiences of a lifetime". It was our first ever Beef Wellington and we were not going to accept anything less than one prepared by those who have been taught by a man who holds EIGHT michelin stars. The staff was amazing and our waitress DESERVED her tip, that was for sure! Even the man who came to wrap up our left overs (yes, establishment so fancy they take your food back to the kitchen to box it up FOR you) asked us how our meal was and genuinely cared if we had a good time. People walked in off the streets of Boston to grab a drink at the bar and the low lighting made you want to stay all evening and try a few more cocktails. If you ever get the grand opportunity of being able to have a meal here, I implore you do. Yes, the price tag was $$$, so it's a special occasion only sort of thing, but they make SURE you feel special. Drinks on the house like the table beside us for their anniversary, or a complimentary sticky toffee pudding for my boyfriend's birthday are just a couple of things they will do to make sure you enjoy your time and feel you spent your money well. I do plan to come back here one day, but on the next trip to Boston it's Ramsays Burger Kitchen for a more affordable treat.

Although the place was lovely, our water glasses were constantly empty. Dishes were seldom taken from the table. The server was very nice, and corrected items that were incorrect before coming to the table. The food was fine Including the beef Wellington. However, their sticky toffee pudding was amazing and highly recommended! It was a lovely place and a lovely evening, but for the price, it certainly does not deserve a five star rating.

Always wanted to try one of Gordon’s restaurants and was lucky enough to find one and able to reserve a table. From the moment you walk I , all class! Staff, atmosphere and decor as all on point. I’ve also always wanted to try a beef Wellington, and where better to try one out. Ordered Mac & cheese, beef Wellington and Caesar salad. Beef Wellington is served with a mash puree, med rare and was amazing. Not sure I’ve had a nicer cut of meat. Seasoned very well. Standout! Mac and cheese was also very good right balance of flavours, and the Caesar was also very good, with just enough dressing to coat but not overpower the dish. An amazing experience. Dinners like this as not cheap and you have that understanding before you go. So for a one off or special occasion or just cos, highly recommend.

Another WONDERFUL Anniversary Dinner at Ramsay’s Kitchen!! For the third year in a row we celebrated with an AMAZING experience at Ramsay’s! Thank you to Miguel, the most incredible sommelier, Isabella, our waitress was so knowledgeable and gave the best recommendations and Tyler, the manager made us feel so special. This was a big anniversary for us and we loved spending the night at Ramsay’s. The wine selection was just spectacular (thanks Miguel!!), the tuna tartar and octopus as appetizers were just INCREDIBLE, the beef Wellington is always AMAZING (my husband always says the consistency is just incredible!!) and the branzino tonight was out of this world (I always order the fish!!). The sticky pudding was the best way to finish such q memorable date night! If you are looking for an incredible dinner in Boston with the most top notch service (EVERYONE welcomed us with the biggest smile and we felt as they were expecting us, thank you! 🩷), Ramsay’s Kitchen is a most!! Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Can’t wait to come back again!

Staying in Mandarin Oriental, we decided to try Ramsay’s kitchen and were delighted by the dining experience. The reservation time was honoured and wait staff promptly got us seated. The drink and food orders were taken in a timely manner and the food arrived in a timely manner. The ambiance was casual and easy-going. The décor is vibrant and nice. All the dishes that we ordered were very delectable. The Lobster Bisque was very tasty and flavourful. The bread roll was one of the softest and tastiest once I had. The Chicken wings were so soft and juicy and delicious. The grilled chicken was also lip-smacking. The warm lobster roll is the best Lobster Roll I have had. It was fresh, warm and flavourful. We had a chocolate mousse for dessert and it was very tasty too. Highly recommend this restaurant as it is doing all the right things. Do not miss this when in Boston. A big thumbs up!

First time going to GR restaurant. Host greeted us and sat us down in a timely manor. We got the $105 experience which contains an appetizer of beef tartare, Beef Wellington as entree, and sticky toffee pudding for dessert. I think the overall experience was good. The lobster soup had 4 tiny pieces of lobster, I mean is the lobster population in crisis? Need more lobster pls.

My boyfriend is a big Gordon Ramsay fan, so we were excited to try Ramsay’s Kitchen a couple days ago. We went early evening, and every dish we had was really tasty. He especially loved the beef Wellington, it was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. We both enjoyed the sticky toffee cake; it was rich and just right for dessert. Honestly, I’m craving another one! Our server, Maeve, was sweet and very nice, which made the whole experience even better. The staff’s friendliness made everything easy and enjoyable. Overall, it was a great meal and a fun evening out. Definitely a spot we would recommend, especially for Ramsay fans.

A picture says a thousand words—just look at the burnt chicken wings, practically black with charcoal. The soup was far too salty, and the signature Wellington beef was a major disappointment. When we cut into it, the pastry and beef completely separated, and it was obvious the quality of the beef was simply not there. Thankfully, the toffee pudding cakes were delicious—easily the highlight of the meal. On food alone, this would be a one-star review. The second star is solely for the team. My server tried her best and was clearly embarrassed when she saw the burnt chicken. The manager, Tyler, went above and beyond—he even went back to the kitchen to taste the food himself, which was a true class act. I sincerely hope corporate pays attention to reviews like this and makes the necessary improvements, because the food experience was far below expectations.

The food was definitely amazing. The only constructive criticism I'd have would be the beef short rib felt under seasoned and definitely needed at least more salt. Other than that the sticky pork belly was fabulous. Especially the sticky toffee pudding was absolutely delicious. The service was great as well, definitely felt welcomed.

Our first time to Ramsay's Kitchen was an excellent experience from the host to our server Tyler. He made us feel welcome and attended to all of our needs listening and delivering exceptional service. My 15 year old son felt at home and raved about the food quality and Tyler's attentiveness. We will definitely visit your Boston location again because of Tyler!! Please give him a big shout out as he is a true asset to your organization

This was such a disappointment on so many fronts. This was the first time I went to a restaurant and realized we were paying for a brand name, and not getting the quality food I expected. We made reservation for my boyfriends 30th birthday, on the day of, and we were SO excited to go. We love Gordon Ramsay and we know the standards and flavor combos he has on his shows/books, so we expected a lot. When we arrived and sat our menus were different, one had some dishes while another was missing dishes. Our waitress was able to replace the menu with her apologies. When looking at the wine menu, one of the pages was double or triple printed, so it was illegible. Our waitress took it, and again apologized for the menu issue. We ordered some still water, and it was delivered bottled and cold....and it was delicious. The best water I ever tasted, I would HIGHLY recommend it. We ordered the pork belly as an app, which was pretty good. A few pieces were far too fatty to be served, but the flavor was still amazing. Now the mains is where this visit fell apart. I ordered the scallops and my boyfriend ordered a filet, cooked medium rare. We also ordered a potato puree and asparagus. The scallops were just terrible. The flavor combinations made no sense. It was paired with a chick jus sauce which was over-reduced and came out bitter and congealed. The apricot puree tasted like baby food, and the pomegranates added nothing to the scallops. The scallops themselves also had little to NO flavor. It relied on the components on the on the dish to elevate it....which it did not. The two sides we ordered were tasty, but cold. The potato puree was insanely smooth and silky but cold. The asparagus itself was....not great? Barely cooked and not a lot of flavor. HOWEVER the lemon aioli it was paired with was delicious. Now the filet we ordered was overcooked. We ordered it medium rare and it came medium. For the cost? We had to send it back. It took a long time to get a new steak, so we split my scallops as we waited for the steak. His steak came about 15 minutes later, so not only were the sides even colder, but it was just overall disjointed. Now for the desert, we ordered the sticky toffee pudding and that saved the ENTIRE meal. They brought it over with a candle so he could blow it out. It was by far the most delicious thing we ate all night. I would come back to have just that for desert. They did take off a side and the desert for the "inconveniences" but the meal was still over $200. Overall I wanted to like this SO much. But we could cook better at home...and for over $200 for the meal, I was NOT impressed. I could buy a week of groceries instead of this one meal that felt subpar. Also, I WISH they would sell oysters either individually or as a set of 3 | 6 | 12. They had a whole oyster bar but I dont think a single person ate them while we were there. I would have ordered some if I could order a set of 3 or even just 1, to try (since my partner doesnt like oysters). But since the minimum was 6, no way I would bother. My boyfriend said he would try again, but something cheaper like a sandwich instead of the filet. So we might be back, but not for a special night out.

I only had the sticky toffee pudding dessert here. Not going to lie, it was a pretty good. A little on the sweeter side the combo of the warm sticky bread with the cold ice cream was good. We also ordered an extra scoop of ice cream which I recommend. But man was it expensive! I understand that it's tied to Gordon Ramsay and we're in Boston, but I don't think it justifies its $18 price (not including the cost for the extra scoop of ice cream) for one small dessert.

Well disappointed is an understatement. We've been to a number of Gordon Ramsays restaurants here and overseas and, of course, we've been tremendously entertained by Chef Ramsays TV shows over the years. However, this Saturday night's experience was sub-par and I have to compare what we experienced to the image that Chef Ramsay puts forward when it comes to culinary and service perfection on his shows. The place is loud, stupid loud. The meal cost us over $500 for three people and for that kind of money, my senses should not have been exposed to that assault of loud, repetitive dance music all night. So loud that there was no way to hear the waiter, who seemed to be clueless to the volume and after multiple attempts of asking him to repeat and speak up, we gave up and ignored what he was saying. No idea what the specials were. He would say something and I would just smile and nod. We were all dressed in corporate casual but people were in there in sneakers, hoodies and jeans. I'm no snob but sometimes you want to dress up for a nice night out. When others are dressed as slobs, it takes the fine dining experience away. Go the Gordon's hamburger joint if you want to dress like you're a fashion-free bum. At $500 bucks I would expect the host to turn people away. But hey, money is money and that's obviously the priority of this fake-upscale restaurant. The next problem was the heat. Make fun of me if you like but I'm a prepper and carry a thermometer with me in addition to my compass and other tools. I used to teach Survival in Colorado and never leave home without being prepared. Anyway, the temp in the restaurant was 80 degrees. 80 DEGREES!!! Are you kidding? Appetizers were excellent all around. Tomato soup, shrimp cocktail and lettuce wedge salad were all great. The fresh bread, that you need to ask for, and pay for, was fresh baked and awesome. My daughter and I got our entrees at the same time but not my wife. We waited for 7 minutes to be polite before starting but my wife insisted that we start. At 11 minutes after us, she got her entree. My and my daughter's Wellingtons were excellent, top notch. Best I've ever tasted. My wife's scallops were under cooked and the chutney was overpowering. Her bacon was awful, fatty but dry at the same time. Never again on that one. Sticky toffee pudding was awesome but we rushed it to get the hell out of there since we all had headaches from the heat and noise. I normally go for 4 to 5 Old Fashioned's when I eat out and they have a fantastic selection of Bourbons. However, due to the heat, I only got through two. We couldn't get out of there fast enough. Probably won't return. Disappointing. Gordon, please call me. I think I can help you to pull this kitchen out of its nightmare situation.

Service was top notch. Made a reservation for 5 and had to push up the time last minute and they easily accommodated us. All of my food was outstanding. Highly recommend!

Went here on a Friday night and had heard good things about the restaurant before going. I ordered the chickpea tikka masala and my friend ordered the beef Wellington after being told it was a signature of the restaurant. The style and presentation of the chickpea tikka masala was good, but the flavor was a bit disappointing. It didn't particularly have as much flavor as I expected and the bread included with it also didn't have too much to it. While it wasn't my dish, from what I tried of it it seemed overly salted. I think the idea and concept was really cool, but it didn't seem to have as much interesting flavor as expected. The servers were very kind. For dessert I shared the strawberry Eton mess and vanilla mascarpone cheesecake. Both of these were extremely creative but I again wasn't blown away by the flavor of them.

I can't comment on the food but the desserts are out of this world! The sticky toffee pudding was incredible as was the strawberry Eton Mess with meringue. Just beyond! Paired mine with the 10 year tawny port (Douro Valley) and my daughter had the Italian Pinot Gris. The ambience is lovely. The service is on point.

Service is poor at best. Definitely don't eat on outside patio unless you want to wait forever for service!! Food is good, but poor service ruined it!

I took my fiancé to brunch for Father's Day in June 2022. Of course it was busy and the service reflected that. The restaurant decor is beautiful, very modern. I had the warm butter lobster roll and my fiancé had the chicken. Both dishes were good. I had the lobster roll once before and it was good. The lobster meat was so tender and the bun was lightly toasted but by the time it got to me it was a little soggy.

Only OK for our first experience at Ramsay's--Saturday night, we snagged a two top walking in, and $200 later we were wondering what all the hype was about. --Caesar Salad was bland, mainly due to a complete lack of garlic in the dressing. --Wild mushrooms were pretty amazing, the only Wow moment of the evening for us. --Cispy eggplant were certainly hot and crispy and again unflavored, or only distantly flavored. --Beef Wellington was tender but bland. --Rodano Chianti was quite good (one of the cheapest wines offered there at $60). --Service very slow, though friendly. I don't think GR would would have been happy with the food bearing his name....

UPDATE 1mo later: the restaurant commented on this inviting me to reach out to improve my experience. I find this interesting because before writing the Yelp review we had filled out their routine survey asking for our feedback and contact info, we said the same things there and they NEVER reached out. Shows a lot about the business if they are only willing to reach out publicly... Pretty disappointing of them (but not enough for me to remove a star, the two star review and everything below is the original review). Just okay and overpriced compared to other great Boston spots. As a huge Gordon Ramsey fan I was very excited to try this restaurant that opened walking distance from me, but I won't be going back. The appetizer came out a good 30 minutes before drinks, which was very strange, and then it took 50 minutes for entrees to come out. Our server was so nice, I think her name was Michelle. Zero complaints about her. The restaurant is well-decorated, but the food wasn't up to snuff for the price point. I've been to so many other great restaurants in Back Bay and Seaport that are better and often not as expensive, so although this restaurant was okay, I just don't think it was worth it when there are so many great alternatives in this city. Details: Lychee Cooler (not pictured): very yummy mocktail but all grapefruit, so if you love grapefruit go for it. 9/10 because I love grapefruit. Parker Rolls: so dry. The glaze/seasoning on top was delicious, but the rolls themselves were just dry bland dinner rolls you can get at a supermarket. 2/10 Braised Pork Shank: completely unseasoned. We asked for salt because they don't keep it on the table (TOTALLY fair... if they already season the food!). The mashed potato puree on the plate was not warm, but had an interesting flavor where it started out sweet and then had a little savory spice kick after. 6/10 only after adding salt and pepper. Pan-seared Scallops: I adore sea scallops, and they were cooked perfectly so that's great. Also not a lot of seasoning or sauces but a good scallop doesn't need it. The pork was good, makes me think that the pork appetizer would likely be good here. The citrus slices on the dish was a strange combination to me personally, but overall this it was pretty good. 8/10. Maitake Mushrooms: these were yummy, and I enjoyed the sauce with them. 10/10. Sticky Toffee Pudding: this was also really good, but I wasn't blown away by it. 9/10

My husband and I were really excited to try Gordon Ramsey's new spot on Boylston since we haven't been able to travel to try others. The restaurant itself is beautiful and trendy. We ordered the tuna tartare for an appetizer. The fish was fresh but the wontons seemed as if they were reheated right before coming out. The sushi roll we got (I forgot which one it was) was great! The extra crab on the top was a great addition. My main course was a beef Wellington. I want to say it was amazing but I've had better at Mooo. The meat was cooked well but the mushrooms on the inside just ok. My husbands scallops were fantastic. The server seemed like he was new but did everything to make our dinner perfect. We will definitely come back once they perfect the dishes like Gordon would want them to.

First off, the service was absolutely amazing! Everyone was so friendly and attentive to their guests, made the experience so enjoyable and felt taken care of. The food was really good as well, I got the Beef Wellington and while it was good, I wasn't blown away. My favorite of the night was definitely the Sticky Toffee, gooey and goes so well with the cold ice cream and caramel sauce that's surprisingly not too sweet.

Been here multiple times. EVERY time the food has been to die for, the service impeccable, and the atmosphere trendy but not pretentious. Drinks are tasty and my mom STILL talks about the crab cakes she had here.

We've been dying to try this restaurant and finally made it down to Boston. Overall a really nice dinner and excellent service. I wish I could remember our servers name as she truly deserves a nice thank you. The restaurant has a really nice ambiance. It is warm, inviting and not too loud. We were seated at the table with Chef Ramsay's photo over us...the only bad comment is it's just too close to the front door. Every time it opened I froze and it opened a lot. For the most part the food was as you would expect. Beautifully presented and flavorful. For apps we had the Tuna Tartar 10/10, crab cakes 10/10 and Parker rolls 5/10. The first two were excellent and we were pleased. The Parker rolls IMO were honestly just average. Unless you NEED bread with dinner I would skip those. As for the entrees two of us got the beef Wellington. I tried it even though I knew I probably would like it. Pastry covered meat is not my personal jam but I'd never had it before and wanted to have from a chef like Ramsay. My daughter absolutely loved hers she would def give it a 10/10. It was just too rich for me but the filet inside was cooked beautifully and I enjoyed it immensely. My husband got the scallops and he gave them a 9/10. He didn't enjoy the pork component otherwise he thought it was really well done. My son had the only not great meal. He got the fish and chips and said the crust was too salty and the potato wedges that came with it were dense and didn't have enough flavor. He said the meat inside the crust was delicious but he wouldn't get this again. Caesar salad was incredible and large. I ordered it for me but ended up sharing it with everyone. Way too much for one person unless it's your meal! Sides we ordered were the Mushrooms 9/10, Mac and cheese 7/10-lacking salt severely and the fries 9/10. Mac and cheese was really bland and disappointing. If just a little salt was added it probably would be amazing. We had the sticky toffee desert and it was a 9/10 for me as well. Overall I think most of the negatives can be fixed. They were just mostly seasoning issues. You can tell they take their service seriously. Managers walking the floor, checking on guest and keeping things moving. We will definitely be back and try some new things next time. It was a very nice evening for the family!

This was a bucket list meal, and it delivered. Oh my goodness, I would eat here 100 more times, SO GOOD. My mom and I were in Boston for a race I was doing, and this was one of the biggest highlights. We ordered the Caesar salad, I got the beef Wellington and she got the scallops, we shared the broccolini, and we shared the cheesecake for dessert. Service: we had Lady and what a great lady she was! We're we're originally each getting the Caesar and she actually stopped us and recommended we share one instead, knowing that was less money on the bill. We shared and couldn't finish it between the two of us, it was so large. But delicious. Beef Wellington was tops. I couldn't be in a Gordon Ramsey restaurant for the first time and not order it. Cooked to perfection, it delivered. Scallops. I honestly don't think I can order scallops at another restaurant for about a year, as nothing will compare. When I say they were perfect, I mean they were perfect. Seared beautiful. I didn't even need my teeth, they literally melted in my mouth. I'm now ruined for scallops for life... Cheesecake was so good, no complaints, but the beef and scallops win the night. I'm now Googling as hard as I can to learn how he made those dishes. To die for, you much visit if you are in town. Worth every penny!

The restaurant was very nice and is in a great location. The staff was very friendly and efficient. I had the Beef Wellington which was incredible. Overall it was a really nice experience and I'm looking forward to going again.

Overall great experience! I tried to not have too high expectations just because it's Gordon Ramsy's. Starting off with the crab cake, it was very good. I loved every bite. I would pass on the beef wellington... it was quite heavy and I didn't enjoy it. The grilled sea bass was fresh but nothing too special. If you go, please get the toffee pudding -- omg it is definitely my top desserts. The ice cream combined with the warm toffee pudding was to die for. My bf and I actually went to the bar to just get the toffee pudding for dessert 3 times already. Ambiance was really nice and waiters were attentive!

I had been wanting to go to Ramsay's Kitchen for such a while and it did NOT disappoint! We were blessed with an extremely knowledgeable waiter who knew the menu front and back, specials, drinks, and did not even need to write anything down! I think his name was Justin? Something like that, anyway, he was great! Checked on us the right amount of times and was so personable, really just added to the dining experience. Our food was incredible! The rolls were perfectly made, even the butter was delicious lol. I got the roast and just wow, it was so juicy and tender, the bone completely slipped off! Great portion sizes, we had plenty to take home. The sticky bun also did not disappoint! The location is nicely located right by the mall and on the main strip, if you wanted to take a walk before/after. We went for dinner and the only negative thing about that is that it was too dark. Another weird thing is that the bathroom was sooo far from the restaurant, kind of sketchy. Nice bathroom, odd location. Definitely recommend though! Can't wait to go back!

The food was great, would highly recommend the beef Wellington, scallops, and the shrimp and lobster spaghetti. The other food was good as well, but these three stood out and were so good. The service was amazing, our waitress was so friendly and helpful, especially in recommendations. She was very attentive even though it was a busy night and always checking in on us. The ambiance was also very good, dimmer atmosphere but very lively!

My lovely daughter treated us to a special dinner at Ramsey's kitchen . We started off with a glass of Pinot Grigio followed by the best Cesar salad I've ever had ! Never was a true fan of Panchita but these nuggets of heaven just made the salad a true pleasure , it comes with 2 semi hard boiled eggs with the yolk runny , not a fan of that but you can skip it if it's not your preference. Wifey ordered the Roasted Carrot Soup that was to DIE for !!!!! Never tasted something so delectable. The main dishes were the crispy salmon for wifey which she said was great , I had the Beef Wellington. What can I say this is my second time at this establishment, first time was in Vegas . They are no words to express the pleasure of every different level of excitement tasting this dish . The Wellington cooked to perfection Med rare with an unbelievable outer crust dipped in the wine Demi glaze that just melted in your mouth , just heaven . We finished dinner with the sticky toffee pudding to share , memorable , the entire event was spectacular a must go .

My wife insisted on going back after a not so good experience after Xmas. Several was much better this time however it started off slow. Took about 20 minutes to get water but we did stop in to see if we could have dinner an hour and a half before our reservation and didn't expect to be taken in. This time they remembered the desert for our celebration. The sticky toddy pudding may be my wife's favorite dessert now. Me and my son had sandwiches and my wife and friend had the filet which was cooked perfect.

Amazing Sticky Toffee Pudding and Strawberry Dessert Eton Mess. It was to die for. The service was great! Would 100% come again! Not a huge fan of the news beefing out in the TV's. Some of the news was disturbing and felt weird at such a nice restaurant.

The worst experience possible. The bartender is inattentive even in a mostly empty restaurant while I sit at the bar. A glass of scotch that I can find at other locations for ~20 is $80 here. That's as much as the bottle. An absolute rip off. I came for dessert and a drink on my bday and all the desserts other than the sticky toffee were out. I was there at 5 pm. If you can't have an up to date menu daily, make a day by day menu bc this is off putting. The food looks overpriced for what you get. The only positive is the wine pour I got makes me think they got a bartender who used to work at machine, in a good way. But not good enough to forgive this. Also I'm in my 30s and he was very rude about carding me. Plus it was my bday and if he had actually looked at dates he would have noticed that and said something so it felt more like a power trip. No one else who has shown up to the bar has been carded. Overall, bad vibes. Bad prices. I would rate the food if they had any of it in stock to order. Okay ish wine with a good pour.

Great location on Boylston street.Oder. Upscale bar feel with views of Boylston street for people watching if that's your thing. Definitely a popular place. I was able to get a seat at the bar on a Thursday at 6:30. Only 1 TV at the side of the bar. The lobster roll had more lobster on it than a twin lobster entree at Red Lobster. Best lobster roll around. I'll be going there just for that every time I'm in town. I gave this place four stars because their steak was trash. Taste was whatever and I asked for a medium and it was barely rare. I ate half and left. Will I go back? 100%. I might go back tomorrow and get another lobster roll.

Wife and I decided to drive the 1.5 hours into Boston and treat ourselves to Ramsays. I previewed the menu prior to heading out and what caught my eye was the "chefs table" a five course meal that can be paired with wine. When I requested the chefs table to the waitress she was unaware of what I was talking about but very kindly said she would find out. Manager came over about 15 minutes later and told us it was something that needed a 48 hour notification before dining. Further it was for groups of eight or more and hosted in the bottom floor (non of this on the website) Also something about a door that needed fixed or something and wasn't available but at that point. I was just hungry and wanted to order so I could eat. I did enjoy the food; crab cake, beef Wellington, and for desert bread pudding. The cost to quality rational isn't there for me though s why the 3 stars. Have better options locally but was a nice experience after having watched Gordon's show for so long. Not an experience I need to repeat though.

After years of watching Gordon Ramsay, I finally checked out one of his restaurants. I heard it was super hard to get a reservation at first, but I think the popularity has died down a lot now.. The star of the show was definitely the sticky toffee pudding, which was so sweet and buttery. I have a huge sweet tooth and finished the whole thing alone lol. The mac & cheese and lobster roll were pretty good but nothing special.

My best friend a big fan brought me here under protest. The restaurant is very modern vibe . We wait for the service for a hot minute ( more than 10 minutes ) 10 minutes for the drink and the wait for the appetizers was like 15 minutes . The lamb was not cold but not hot and I told them I had a gluten allergy and request the egg plant remove from the plate and they still brought it. The wait for the food was supposed for a back up kitchen . The salmon was hot and the puree was very small portion . The second mocktail took longer than the first one. I'm not impressed with the restaurant; is all the name and not quality that is shown on TV

I mean the food was great. Wellington was juicy inside, crispy outside with a tender beef that was surrounded by the layered pastry. In the middle, late was pleasantly layered in and gave a savory taste. Scallops were soft and tangy and the sauce-- you can not even describe... BUT.. they were just TOO EXPENSIVE for the portion... I just couldn't love it fully. I must admit though that the food here is great and if you have a budget and satisfied with small portion of food- must try it ;)

Absolutely spectacular experience. The service was wonderful - kind server and management that ensured I had a great experience. Food was very good - the tuna tartare and beef Wellington were artistic and gustatory masterpieces. The crab cake stole the show, it's easily the best I've ever had. Ambiance is fresh and inviting. I'll be coming again. Go!

Popped into Ramsay's Kitchen last night for a ladies night and was really impressed by the experience that was delivered. The host Charlie seated us right away and checked in to see how we were doing during our visit. It's the little things that make the difference when dining out these days!

Second trip here, went to celebrate a birthday. Our server, Magdaleno, was beyond amazing!! Not pictured we also had the wedge salad which received high praise at our table. The only food complaint was that the filet was a rather tough but everything else exceeded expectations! And - to add to the impeccable service our waiter provided, he also heard us saying it was a member of our parties birthday and when we ordered dessert he brought hers with a candle and comped the sticky toffee pudding she had ordered. I would definitely go back just based on the service he provided. Overall, the ambiance was nice, each table has a lamp so it never felt too dark. As someone who is short, the booth to table height ratio is a bit off haha I definitely felt I was sitting too low but that is not an uncommon occurrence

The experience was a mixed bag of good and some bad. The service was pretty awful, the waitress was not attentive at all and also made a few comments that rubbed us the wrong way. As for the food, the crab cake was the best one I've ever had. It was juicy and they didn't skimp on the crab meat with bs filler ingredients. The beef Wellington was also amazing but should note it is surrounded by mushrooms within the puff pastry in case you don't like that. The tuna/scallop dishes were good and beautifully presented but nothing to rave about. The mac and cheese...was disappointing. The one at Costco is better. The sticky toffee pudding is a must! Very delicious with a much needed scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. Probably would only come back here for the crab cake and dessert - it isn't cheap!

Pretty restaurant in the Mandarin Oriental in Boston. The service was friendly and attentive. Their dirty martini is excellent. The Sticky Cauliflower was excellent. The fennel tomato soup was solid and the vegan RK Burger was soooo good - and i'm sure so bad for me People we're happy with their meals and drinks. Solid choice.

My experience was good until my date realized we had been seating for 15mins and no one had came to our table?! I had to go speak to the front desk and inform them. No server had come to our table?! When Manual came and explained they didn't tell him. Our server was great the food was amazing and the night was saved after a bad start. The beef Wellington was so delicious and the lamb was cooked perfect and so tender! Omg!!!

Let's tackle the easy stuff. Fire off Beef Wellington. Excellent with a few mehs. I would have like the puff pastry a tad crispier. Also it wasn't as warm as I would have liked. Still great. Food was decent but the service was wonderful. Our waitress Michelle had too many tables but managed to be friendly and efficient. We sat in the bar area to celebrate our niece's birthday and she thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Highly recommend the crispy eggplant, the Mac and cheese and spaghetti. My brother tried the beef Wellington which is a specialty but was underwhelmed by it. The scallops are perfectly cooked and we added those to the spaghetti. The lobster was delicious but the shrimp was tough and rubbery. Would give the food 3 stars and the service, ambience 4 stars.

My entree was very good and fresh. The steak and scallops were seasoned and cooked to perfection. The oysters were super fresh and clean. My only problem is the Mac and cheese was super bland and taste like noodles and cheese no flavor or anything, wouldn't recommend.

Updated review a year later. Came here and got the wellington. It was better than I remembered. Much thanks to Emilio and Jackie who are awesome.

We went for lunch on a Saturday and actually had a really great experience! We made a lunch reservation a few days in advance and took an Uber. I've also taken the T (can get off at either Hynes Convention Center or Copley stops). Overall, staff was awesome for lunch service! Took our coats, very attentive - especially for the member of our party who was vegan. Waitress worked well with us to make sure everything was accommodating. The beet burger was great, it was an Impossible burger. The Lobster Roll, also delicious (wanted more!!). A bit more expensive for lunch, but a treat nonetheless. Great service is hard to come by, and Ramsays has got it!

Honestly decent food if not for the beef wellington being my new par for the most disappointing $70 I've spent! The inside felt more like an airport lounge but appreciate the large amount of table space each party gets! Our server was patient with us but it was strange the way she talked about "Gordon", really trying to sell his name / brand. The good: - The crab cakes, pricey at $31 but it was truly almost all big lump meat with minimal breading, crabby and delicious! - A very solid lobster roll, standard/by the book/good model student Connecticut style lobster roll for $34/ The bread was well toasted brioche, maintained its crisp but not shattering. Soft and plush without being overly bready or underfilled. But it lacked a little salty buttery flavor that I want from brioche to complement the lobster. There was a giant bodacious piece of CLAW meat! Impractical to eat but all of the meat wasn't rubbery at all, yet I wouldn't describe it as tender. It breaks down eventually, but you do have to chew and work for it, as if the meat fibers individually are very intact and healthy and fresh! I also think there could be more butter and seafood flavor, maybe though we had let it sit so when hot more of these flavors would come through. The celery leaves on top were refreshing! But interferes with this non intensely flavored roll. Fries on the side were good and standard too, has the nostalgic fast food fry flavor, mild crunch in the crust. - Maitake mushrooms were so tender and plump, crispy and wispy at the edges. The kitchen could save money and food waste by serving this dish with half the amount of aioli. The BAD: - I don't think the wellington had any redeeming qualities to it. Limp puff pastry with no crunch or flakiness whatsoever, looking so sagged and soggy straight out of the kitchen. The little veg on the side may as well have been microwaved frozen veg. Bland and thin mashed potatoes. The beef itself was mealy and tough around the edges, the middle was so gummy. There was a sad slimy spinach crepe and all the mushroom duxelle was pushed to the but ends of the log. And the rounded ends of the wellington were impossibly dry! I didn't know puff pastry could be so dry and dense! I'd be less sad about the $70 if they just served a normal seared steak with Pepperidge puff pastry on the side. The whole thing was also ridiculously small. - Sticky toffee pudding was tasty around the edges where it soaked in the caramel but bland in the middle / no date flavor. The ice cream was also bland mostly just nice for adding refreshing temperatures. Served with way too much sweet sweet caramel.

Food is phenomenal. Everything is so delicious. The only thing it is a little high on prices the weight staff is very friendly, very helpful and very attentive to making sure your experience is very pleasant

Made a reservation for my son's birthday. Left an hour early(which should have been plenty of time)but with all the traffic we were running 20 minutes late so we called and after getting halfway there we were told that they would not hold our table. For 20 minutes? Maybe Ramsey should hire employees with common sense and people skills. Maybe they are more concerned about pushing the volume?

Made reservations as my daughter really liked Hells Kitchen in Vegas. We actually came in with three small well behaved children and the staff was very accommodating. Sides are ala carte and I wish they had more selections that included vegetables. They have a sushi roll of the day on the menu. That night it was a spiced salmon roll. Sadly, they look like they have a set up for a sushi bar in the dining area and probably could put it to good use. The roll was very basic like something I could of whipped up at home. We had the lobster roll that's listed in the appetizer section. Served w butter and on a brioche roll. Price $32, which is perfectly priced. I would suggest ordering this w fries as a meal. The tuna tartare was excellent. My grandkids had the roasted chicken that, in my opinion, was out of this world with the meat perfectly seasoned and falling off the bone. The Mac and cheese was devoured. The fish and chips were ok and a tad on the greasy side. My scallops were pretty good. Being from New England I know great seafood so it was good but not the greatest. My daughter enjoyed the beef Wellington, which comes in a good size portion. All and all nice experience and worth a one off. Too many other fabulous restaurants in the area worth trying.

After finishing moving my daughter into college, we wanted to celebrate at this place. I've been to Gordon Ramsey in Atlantic City si i knew food is spectacular, perfectly served hot and fast. the Grilled Loup de Mer has the most Beautiful presentation, see my pic. But the service was a beautiful disaster, our server forgot a lot of things, our oyster came after the main course, my decaf espresso never came. the lights went from dim to blinding bright in the middle of dinner. Destroyed the ambiance. I felt like i was at a diner, lights were very bright. The alarms were beeping, no one was advising us what was going on. At one point I thought Gordon was making an appearance! But finally I asked the server, apparently the lighting is connected to the hotel and went bonkers for at least 20 min. It was a night I Would never forget. The management should have reassured us it was nothing. At least I got a free glass of wine out of it. I dont understand people who complain that it's expensive! What do you expect? you are eating at a Michelin star chef, a Celebrity chef! It's a prestige to experience his culinary talent. Beef Wellington is sooooo freaking good cooked to perfection! The thing that hurts the most is the parking situation. $45 at the prudential parking lot. If you shop in the mall min of $20, I could have gotten it validated for $25. But who needs the hassle? Otherwise your circling the neighborhood hoping to get a lucky spot. Anyway, food is amazing worth every trouble. Service n parking be dammed.

Service was great. Food was good but I wasn't blown away. According to my group, the burger, sticky pork belly and I believe it was a butternut soup, were the standouts.

Our first stop in Boston was this place since it was super close to our hotel. I made reservations earlier in the week for 7:15pm but the place wasn't super packed when we arrived. We started with maitake mushrooms and the half dozen oysters. I do love enjoying oyster every now and then and these were delicious with the two provided sauces. The scallops were cooked well and the pork belly was so tender. The orange sauce pairs really well as mentioned by our server Danny. The beef Wellington is the star of the show, cooked beautifully medium rare. The side of potatoes is so creamy I can't describe it as mashed. There's a delicious seasoned mushroom layer between the pastry and beef. To end, Danny knew I wanted the dessert menu and the sticky toffee pudding. It's bathing in a sweet buttery toffee sauce. The pudding cake itself isn't too sweet, the sauce does all the work. A warm pudding cake and cold vanilla ice cream are a classic combo. Overall delicious! It was a lovely experience with gorgeous decor and a nice ambiance.

You might be familiar with this sort of place: A celebrity name on the door and an FAQ on the website that's seventeen versions of "Q. Will Chef Ramsay actually be there? A. [politely] No, lol." It is, of course, a cover band of sorts, but the point is you say "play me the hits" and get some food that Chef Ramsay would call delicious. He does seem the kind of guy who would insist on high standards from any restaurant bearing his name. And while my taste can hardly compare, I'd think he gets that in this Boston location. Came here for a special occasion dinner, ordered some of the most popular dishes (tuna tartare, beef Wellington, the sticky toffee pudding), it was all incredibly tasty. The Wellington in particular is definitely special occasion prices, but worth it for a favorite dish I hadn't had for years prior.

Perhaps my expectations were set too high, but honestly you can do much much better in Boston. I guess I expected fine dining and really this is a very casual restaurant with good (but not great) food, with service that does not match expectations. The staff at the front desk was friendly and helpful on arrival, as there seemed to be some confusion about our reservation, but things were cleared up and we were shown to a very nice table. The dining room is beautiful, sleek and modern. Chairs are a bit odd, and if you choose not to check your coat, you can not drape your jacket on the chair, as it will constantly fall off. Check your coat! Our waitress, while nice enough, did not have the polish I expected. She insisted on asking me what I wanted before the ladies at the table. OK, perhaps I'm a little old fashioned but even after abstaining and asking my wife what she wanted, she still insisted on starting with me the rest of the evening. Service was brisk, not rushed, but this isn't a leisurely meal, and when your spending nearly $200 a person, with drinks, well... Food arrived at the table auction style with the runners not knowing who ordered what, and placing food, then lifting it and giving it to the right diner. At one point during service the music was turned on so blaring loud everybody was shocked, it took a bit before the volume was set to a tolerable level. Staff trying to remove plates before food was finished. Breaking glasses in the background, you get the picture. Just not at all what I would have expected. So how about the food? Some dishes were good, the sticky toffee pudding for dessert was the only item I would say was great. I started with a Mushroom soup which was rich and creamy, but terribly over salted. My wife described her caesar salad as one of the worst she ever had, too salty to eat, and it was left virtually untouched and our server made no comment. I had the beef wellington, which was good. Oddly, no steak knife is provided, and while the beef is tender, it was difficult to cut the meat with a butter knife. Too much mustard was used, and it overwhelmed the delicate flavor of the beef. Our friend ordered scallops which looked perfectly seared and she was very happy with them. So really what to say? Was the food terrible? Of course not. Was the service terrible, no. Can you do better in Boston? Yes, much better. I guess I'm thinking this may be a bit of a tourist trap. We left feeling let down.
