Since 2000, this Mt. Lookout standby has defined New York–style by the slice in Cincinnati. CityBeat and Cincinnati Magazine praise the foldable pies and sesame‑seeded Paisano, while fans swear by late‑night slices and the colossal 26‑inch challenge.

Good deal with the coupon of Free XL Cheese Pizza with purchase of XL Specialty Pizza** Pizzas were very good. Crust is nice. Sauce is flavorful. Only issue is they are somewhat expensive pies. Iceberg Lettuce needs to be a default pizza topping option** Get the P.L.T Pizza. Thank me Later.

What a wonderful pizza. Best part is the slice. Can try multiple options instead of one single pizza

Google
Everything about this place is fantastic. I’ve always been a fan of the huge slices of pizza. Nobody does Ramundo bites better! The crust is to die for! Also try the ranch. My favorite is the pepperoni, basil and hot honey drizzle!

Brandon Bowers

Google
Ordered Ramundo’s for a staff lunch earlier this week. Great pizza. One of the top pizzas I’ve had in Cincinnati.

Google
It had been a long time since I had visited. I was working in the area and had to stop in Just as good as I remember from back in the day. Whenever I work in the area I will stop in. Its SO GOOD!!

Google
I love their mushroom steak hoagies ‼️‼️ and traditional Cincinnati famous BBq Grippos on the side with garlic pickles ‼️ The best and price is even better ‼️‼️ MT LOOKOUT LOCATION

Google
come here all the time . Super consistent, great prices, great staff. Had one hicup on an order last week and they made it right… 5/5 would recommend

Google
So nice I ate here TWICE I'm not much a thin slice pizza person but WOW... The flavor pops an menu has something for all. Small eating area but you can also see the crew hard at work. Sits in a pretty cool neighborhood in Mt. Lookout.

Yelp
Great pizza. Huge slices. Love the sauce. Very small place. Set up for pick up it seems. They do have 2 tables. Very friendly service. I got a calzone HUGE and delicious. Definitely will return. Oh they have Barqs Cream Soda. Bonus.

Yelp
Been coming to this location for years and can't believe I never wrote a review . I love going to Ramundo's it is my favorite pizza place! Staff is always friendly and the pizza is always fresh and full of flavor! I had the SAL'S FAVORITE 2 slice pizza and drink deal.

Yelp
I love Ramundos. We usually go to the Mt. Washington location but they are closed on Sundays now. We ordered for pickup at the Mt Lookout location and it was only a 30 minute wait. We ordered Uncle Frank's Special- Italian sausage, meatballs, and fresh garlic. The area is either metered or street parking. The inside is so small. Limited seating so this is definitely more for pick up, but they have so much to offer. Sandwiches, salads, appetizers and desserts. Pizza was (as always) amazing! Everything was perfect! Ingredients well balanced and crust was on point. New York style! This is one of my go to pizza joints in the area. They never disappoint.

Yelp
My lady and I are already fans of the Mount Washinton location, so of course, we became fans of this location too. The pizza is excellent here too and so is the service. It was Superbowl Sunday and my lady and I were feeling pizza. The Mount Washington spot is closed on Sundays but this one is open. I called in a to-go order for the Uncle Frank's Special and was told it would be ready in about 30 minutes. They were on point with the time because it came right out of the oven right as I arrived. The place itself is more of a to-go spot though there are two tables. Much smaller in size than Mount Washington but definitely not small on flavor. My lady and I loved the pizza. Get it to-go, get it delivered (within the local area of course), or eat it there, you can't go wrong. Ramundo's knows pizza goodness!

Yelp
I love Romundo's pizza, love all the pies and especially the Chefs Salad. However, I really really want them to let me order on-line.

Yelp
Gosh darn I love this place. Can't beat the sauce - it had a tiny kick, but they offer a "kid friendly" sauce too. Ranch is fantastic. I recently got a cheese pizza with roasted garlic on it and man, it's just a cut above. And they have red cream soda on fountain. The Ramundo's bites are an amazing indulgence

Yelp
There is a reason this place is always popping on weekend nights. Grab by the slice or whole. Great options and fast service. Take out is the better option since this place is more of a storefront.

Yelp
In Cincinnati, a lot of styles of pizza are boring and similar. Ramundo's resembles more of a NY slice, but with a bit of kick and strong oregano blend. This pizza is a must try to switch up the boring usual mix. Whether you get cheese, pepperoni, or one of their specialty pizzas like the Buffalo chicken, you will definitely get a pow of fresh taste you don't find around this area. Helpful to know: They have a BOGO deal on Tuesdays (unless it's a holiday... e.g., Halloween) where you can get two menu items for the price of one. They also have a great rewards program encouraging loyalty and sending you nice gifts for birthdays and anniversaries.

Yelp
You're delusional if you think this is good pizza. The staff is super nice though! But this is pizza is just not it. You're better getting a Tony's frozen pizza from Kroger. Pizza - 2/10 Blue cheese - 3/10 Staff 10/10 - Really nice people

Joshua B.

Yelp
I can't speak highly enough of this place. They have one of the best Beyoncé pizzas in the entire state!!

Emily R.

Yelp
I wish I had read the reviews before going here. Ive lived in Cincinnati for the better part of 15 years, and tonight was the first time I've tried this place. I'll never be back. I walked up and grabbed 2 slices to go. One cheese and one pepperoni. I opened the box to see my order on my walk home and I saw that instead what I got was two extremely burned pieces of pizza. The cheese as barely there. Like next to nothing. It was similar to the same amount of a slice of cheese. I was so annoyed I just threw it in the next trash can I saw. Definitely won't ever be going back. $10 down the drain. Would love to get that back.

Yelp
we used to love ramundos and supporting a family owned business. The pizza crust was undercooked and the sauce has lost its zest. very sad and disappointed

Doug F.

Yelp
Great single slice. Great salads and soups also. The Italian sub is my favorite sandwich Uncle Franks Calzone is as good as a calzone gets.

Brandon S.

Yelp
Walked in looking for a quick meal. Employee at the registers rude; whatever. Inside is dirty; whatever it's a pizza shop. Pizzas just not that good, and reminds me of gas station pizza. Floppy, sugary sauce, undercooked, greasy, small slices, falls apart. $5.00 a slice; just get dominoes if you want bad pizza.

Yelp
The pizza was so good forgot to take a pic before we started eating! We wanted to try a specialty pizza so we got the chicken pesto. LOVED IT!! the crust was thin and crispy and had a ton of toppings on it which made it still very filling. They were really fast with making the pizza once I placed and order. The pizzas tend to be on the pricier side - but it's always nice to support a good small business especially when they make such good pizza! Definitely will be ordering again from here in the future as well!

Sara W.

Yelp
I've never written a yelp review before but I see it's a popular thing so here goes.... this place is amazing! taste, cost, service, everything is all on point! highly recommend!! that is all.

Yelp
Best pizza in the Cincinnati area. Always excellent service. Delivery times are always accurate. Great coupons and specials. Never had a bad experience with dine in, carry out or delivery. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Great service, the person working was very friendly. Was ready quickly, and the house made ranch is fantastic. Can't wait to go back and try more!

Yelp
Great pizza. Best in Cincinnati. Just spicy enough sauce, fresh toppings, fast delivery.
google avatar

Tanya P.

Yelp
Excellent pizza! I love the crust and the combination of flavors on this pizza. The olive oil is a great alternative for the pizza sauce. Garlic cloves and the spicy sausage are my favorites. The thin crust is so good.
google avatar

Bob C.

Yelp
Great fresh made pitta and salads. The meatball pizza is my favorite with chunks of home made meatballs on top.

Yelp
Probably my favorite pizza place in Cincinnati. New York-style, thin crust but the real magic is in the sauce, which unlike most pizza places, actually has flavor and spice to it. As for toppings, they have pretty much anything you could want. Uncle Frank's Homemade Spicy Sausage is outstanding and is a must if you eat meat, but in my experience all the toppings that I've gotten have been fresh and well distributed. Great service, friendly staff and locally-owned. Well worth your time and money.

Yelp
This is a review of customer service. I selected Ramundo's due to their advertised "outdoor seating," since I was walking through the neighborhood with my dog. As other reviewers have noted, this would be two small tables; the only available table had one chair next to a trash can. No big deal. I poked my head in and began to ask for a menu, but the server barked at me, "nonono, you can't have your dog in here." I calmly replied, "I know; I'm just letting you know I'm waiting outside at one of the tables. Please bring a menu." The server said okay, although continued to aggressively demand my exit. This took all of 20 seconds. 10 minutes passed, other customers were served, and finally the folks at the other table had to wave at the server to come outside. He did, and simply asked, "do you need a menu?" Yes, I still needed a menu. 5-10 more minutes passed; finally, other customers kindly held the dog leash while I went inside. I apologized that I could not leave a tip due to the long wait & way the other server treated me, but a second employee proceeded to berate me (no dogs, we're busy, no service outdoors). I understand, I said, but the other employee asked me to wait outside; he should've stated there was no service if that's the case. FYI I'm the type of customer that always tips 20%, and I frequently dine outdoors with my dog (many restaurants throughout the country), so Ramundo's left quite an impression. If you enjoy being ordered around, waiting 20 minutes to order, and then being scolded, by all means eat at Ramundo's. Mainly, I felt lied to. If you don't offer service outside, don't tell the customer you'll be out to take their order - I would've happily gone elsewhere. If I wanted to pay $20 to get yelled at, I could've hired a professional heckler. I'd comment on the pizza, but it was too bland to remember anything about it. There are other locally owned businesses that actually want customers, so I'll look for those next time.

Yelp
Fine pizza, great service. Ramundo's services you wants and needs by producing incredible and flavorful pizza. I had to try their massive slices and they were incredible. Ramoundo's gave me a reason to hope again that beautiful things hidden in a small corner of mount lookout can make your day a little better with a great slice of pizza

Yelp
Love love the PLT. I had it at a friends and think about it often. I wish we lived closer to a location. When our friend described the PLT to me and a friend were both like that doesn't sound good, but it was delicious. A must try!
google avatar

Olivia B.

Yelp
In my opinion, this is truly the best pizza in Cincinnati, hands down. The flavor/seasoning/taste is amazing and the crust is always perfect. Delivery for me is usually within 40-50 minutes, and I feel like that's reasonable wait time considering what you get. 10/10 would recommend.

Yelp
yo this some real NY pizza right here son. the sauce is fire, spicy and delicious. and they got the lil pepperones that cup up when they cook. crust is delectable too bro.

Yelp
We had pizza and a salad delivered. It arrived hot and on time. The salad was standard, but good. The pizza was tasty. Overall it was a good experience. If you are looking for good traditional pizza this is your place. We will definitely order again.

Deborah B.

Yelp
Tried Ramundo's for the first time, I definitely will be back. We got the pepperoni pizza, everything was so scrumptious, you could taste all the spices, we couldn't put it down. We also tried a hoagie with pizza sauce, what was so good about that was the bun that tasted homemade along with seasonings on it. This place is a gem. Will be back to try different pizza's can't wait.

Yelp
Pizza was as bad as service. Went to Madisonville location. Order 2 slices of pizza, worst pizza I've had by far. After 2 bites threw both slices away. Never again. Also gentlemen working there had a bad attitude

Yelp
Ramundos is a tiny, two-table pizzeria on the edge of Mt Lookout square farthest away from where most of the bars are. There is no parking, very little room to stand inside, and yet they do a ton of business, mostly (obviously) via carryout. NY-style Slices are available all day, every day, for a couple of bucks and some change, 3 bucks if you want a topping from a fairly large selection of options, including relative rarities like whole roasted garlic. The gas-fired ovens do not do as great a job as one might hope in burnishing the bottom crust to a nice firm golden brown, but the slices are generously sized and very tasty. The sauce used has little or no sweetness, with more than a bit of heat, reminding me in a good way of the sauce at local pizzeria legend Adriaticos in Clifton. I love how each slice has a sprinkling of fine ground basil and oregano They also have several hot and cold subs and sandwiches, although I have only tried the italian sausage sub so far, which features a VERY hot link, sauce, and cheese on a nice long roll. The calzones I have seen come out of the oven look quite good as well. They have an eating challenge here - 2 persons take on a 26 inch pie and eat it in 10 minutes, and it is free, 35 bucks otherwise. I saw one of these monstrosities tonight (see the photo) and wished the two fellows ready to do battle with it good luck as I left with my single slice Recommended

Yelp
Best Pizza and best service in Cincinnat!!! Two for Tuesday is best pizza bargin anywhere.

Yelp
Amazing steak hoagie with homemade sauce and meatballs. You can taste the difference.

Yelp
All in all, Ramundo's is a decent pizza choice by Cinci standards. It's three minutes from us, so it's not infrequently our choice on those occasions we decide to order in. Seemingly one of the few pizza places in town that flavors its tomato sauce with something other than sugar and salt, Ramundo's brings in black pepper, garlic, and oregano like lost children from the wilderness. Their use in the sauce is nicely balanced and gives the pizza a spicy kick. (Yeah, these are obligatory ingredients in most pizza sauces across the planet, but in Cincinnati, using them liberally is a small act of bravery.) And as Liz A. says in her review, Ramundo's seems to use better cheese than most Cinci pizza joints. The crust, unfortunately, is pretty typical of Cinci pies: It's usually underbaked, doughy, and short on flavor and texture. Ramundo's is essentially a take-out joint and does not deliver. There are only a couple of tiny tables with barstools, with seating for a few more on the sidewalk in warmer-weather months. The tables are usually occupied by kids from the neighborhood who are probably enticed by the fact that Ramundo's offers pizza by the slice.

Yelp
I visited this restaurant three times the third time wasn't a charm, I placed order over the phone for pick up in 20 minutes and this is what I got I usually check it before leaving the store but I didn't this time it was over cooked almost burnt I just threw it away and counted my losses $30 order down the drain
google avatar

Jessica D.

Yelp
Ramundos! The things you do to me! I love your herbed cheese. I love your equal parts cheese and sauce. I love your commitment to vegetables and fine spicy sausage. You politely respect the other pizza joints of cincinnati, and touch Elbows with larosas, but you know, deep down inside, that you are the holy grail of pizza. In food world, you are one the seven wonders. In American fast food, you reign king For you, I will sacrifice my lust for parking lots, and suffice to metered limited parking. I would like to entertain the other restaurants but the waft of your aromatic pizza inveigles me, knowingly. What was I thinking, assuming I could defy you? I wish I had self control, but after the third slice, I am doomed. You are my Friday night. You have my back. You don't close until 4 Am. Ramundo- let's date.
google avatar

Stephanie O.

Yelp
Why are they getting one more star? Two words: Goetta Pizza. Try it. Love it. It brings me to a whole new sense of happiness.

Yelp
Last Friday my wife and I ordered pizza from Ramundo's Pizzeria for us and her youngest brother who was staying with us for the night. She placed the order and decided to get two 18 traditional crust pizzas, one with pepperoni and mushroom and the other plain with cheese. We had the pizzas delivered and they arrived in timely fashion from the tiny pizzeria that is just down the road from our house. Both pizzas looked great upon delivery and arrived hot from the oven. I started with the pepperoni and mushroom pizza and was immediately hit with a bit of spiciness in the sauce, which I am a fan of. The sauce wasn't sweet at all like some of the other pizza places around town. The toppings were pretty good and in fairly generous amounts. I also sampled the plain cheese which was good, though in this case I preferred some toppings. The cheese used on the pizzas was good, but the crust was a little plain. I'm told that they also serve New York style pizza, so next time I will have to give that a try. Overall this is a solid pizza that I'm sure we will order often in the future.
google avatar

Michael C.

Yelp
Not too bad Ramundo! This was my second time having pizza from here and I have to say it was really good! I ordered traditional double pepperoni and sausage and cheese. The pizzas were so large they barely fit through the doorways! Two pizzas fed 10 people! We literally had pizza for days! It was pricey but this isn't a complaint, just an observation. I was treating my staff to lunch and wanted pizza but not the normal Cincy standards so I chose Ramundo's. It was the best decision I made that day. I look forward to trying more toppings and maybe actually going into their shop since I have never been. I'd love to see how they make the crust. IT was SO BIG! No exaggeration. If they cut it into slices (instead of Sicilian style) these would easily outsize the NYC slices. I might ask for that next time!* Not so humble submitted, Michael C.

Yelp
Amazing pizza and salads, the house made ranch is to die for! I love the Paisono Pie. My favorite pizza place ever.
google avatar

Jonathan J.

Yelp
This is the best pizza in the Mount Adams area. the sauce has a slight zest to it, makes it so good. It's New York style as well, which I was surprised how well they got it as close as the original. It's on the expensive side as far as pizza goes, but well worth the money.
google avatar

Peter B.

Yelp
After an exhaustive search for the best New York-style pizza in the Queen City, I've finally settled on a winner: Ramundo's of Mount Lookout Square. There's a time for Chicago deep-dish and for boutique thin-crust pizaas, but if you want a slice to taste like you bought it in Manhattan, then Ramundo's is the place for you. The right style sauce and herbed seasoning help put Ramundo's at the top of my list. This is a take-out place only, so don't go looking for a venue to enjoy your meal, you'll have to provide your own!
google avatar

Chad D.

Yelp
My lady and I try a different pizza place every Friday. So far, this is our favorite. The staff is fast and super nice and the pizza is amazing. Gotta try The King!!!!!

John J.

Yelp
This has to be the worst pizza I have had in a long time. Granted Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati overall have pretty bad pizza, this place had many good reviews so I took a trip to Ramundos to check it out. I made sure I went when no one would be there or assumed that(11am). Ordered a large plain pie and was on my way. Btw I was only one there when my food was being made and cooked. I had one slice when I put it in the car and couldn't even finish it. The pizza was so cheaply made, over seasoned and pure crap. The crust tasted like cheap cracker crust. The red sauce was an abomination. So much pepper and seasonings that it was beyond salty and so much pepper it actually was spicy. Talk about heartburn city. The cheese was about as bad as you can get cheap wise. Browning up like crazy because it was cheap and oily, gritty, chewy. This could be the worst pizza I have had since I have been out here in Cincy. You people writing these fake reviews are either out of your mind, have never traveled outside this area or friends, employees of the restaurant. It was so bad I had to throw out my pizza because it was INEDIBLE. This was worse than a Walmart frozen pizza. I couldn't even imagine what it would taste like if I actually reheated it in the oven. I put a side by side comparison of a place I went to afterwards to show this insane difference between the two slices. One as you can see looks like a decent slice of pizza. the other looks like garbage. F this place and the 15 bucks I spent and gas money. never again. you people are out of your mind if this crap even comes close to even resembling pizza. Heck I have had better pizza at a school cafeteria and/or nursing home/hospital. When you look at the pizza it almost looks like I got a sausage pizza or some sort of topping. Nope that is a plain cheese pie. Why would you ever serve a product like this? Have you tasted your product?

Blah B.

Yelp
Very good pizza. My only criticism is the crust. It's good, but nothing special. I would add a little butter or olive oil for flavor.
google avatar

Lucy S.

Yelp
This is a great restaurant that serves delicious pizza!! New York style, as well. I usually walk down to get a slice of pizza with my friends. The individual slices are HUGE!!! And delicious!! Plus, they are only about $3. Not a ton of space to eat inside, but there is another location in Beechmont that is significantly bigger.
google avatar

Melissa J.

Yelp
Walked by this place last weekend and it smelled amazing but I was already stuffed from an earlier dinner so I had to make my way back this weekend. Love that I can buy the pizza by the slice, grabbed a slice of pepperoni and my friend had supreme. Service was quick and the pizza looked great. Both slices were delicious- not too greasy, ny style crust that has just the right amount of chew. The sauce they use has a good spice mix so there is a little bite to it... two giant slices were around $7 - I'd definitely recommend the place. Seating here is limited, there are a couple of tables inside and a couple more outside but they also opened a second location in Mt Washington with more seating. We timed it well and they were doing more carry out business so we were able to snag a table outside. Definitely a mom & pop kind of place but worth visiting

Yelp
Alright alright folks! after a day of work and dancing, me and some of my buddies decided to go to Ramundos. So a couple of us decide to do the food challenge here.... and after ten minutes we reduced the 26" delicious pie to only half a slice each. Regardless, this is one very fine and dandy pizza shack. Top 3 in my category for pizza places in cincy. I just love New York style pizza! if you do the pizza challenge, be ready to cough up $35 =] Lets break it down shall we? the sauce is on the tangy side which adds a good flavor to the cheese, meats, and veggies that cover it. at first i thought, this is different, seeing how i love sweeter sauces. However, I was instantly hooked on the pizza! the amount of cheese was perfect. the crust was quite crunchy and tasty as well. Mind you, a friend and I tried the 26" behemoth of a two topper (pepperoni and mushrooms) and in the ten minute challenge, we were only able to reduce it to a half of a slice each..... Even though i have had my fill on pizza for atleast a year,, this place will definitely be on my list of top eateries in the nati!
