My family and I was in town visiting from Flint Michigan and decided to try this place. It did not disappoint! Food was delicious and the staff were friendly and courteous! If you are looking for some down home Soul Food this is your place!

Had a stop over in Nashville for the night. Ordered the meat and 2 side special. It was delicious. Amazing southern mac n cheese. This was my favorite. The chicken was fully grilled with a hint of sweetness for perfect flavor and was alot of meat( 2 quarters)

Old School Soul food never won a popularity contest based on appearance. Well seasoned & not salty at all. Read aloud the menu & the food speaks for itself. If it wasn't for the tornado watch & rush hour traffic, I'd go back for banana pudding or sweet potato pie.

i was kinda nervous going because of the area but when i walked inside, i was greeted my a kind man. We got the food and were Amazed on how it tasted. I absolutely loved this soul food spot and already recommended it to a few of my friends.

The food here is AMAZING!! It’s so good!! I got the honey ham and the Salisbury steak with rice and it was delicious!!! For my sides I got the creamy mac and cheese broccoli casserole and the cabbage the broccoli casserole was so good!! From the moment I walked in the staff was very friendly!! A special thank you to one of the workers Amy who made us feel very welcomed!! You need to come try this restaurant it’s amazing especially if your craving authentic southern food 😋❤️

The food here is delicious 😋. Make sure you ask about other meats, than what's on the menu, like the fried catfish! Also the porkchops are cooked to ordered. The vegetables are amazing as well. The employees are very polite, and caring. The downside that over half the tables was dirty, also trash was overflowing!!! Other than that food, also service was great👌 Update!!! Ate here 11/23/25 the food taste and quality has really changed. The meat also veggies look as they been sitting there for hours. Very dry...

Food made with real Heart and Soul. I stopped in for dinner on my first night in Nashville and had their meatloaf with mac and cheese and turnip greens. This has been one of my best meals on my roadtrip vacation.

It was just ok- they took over the old Dairy King building and it's basically the same inside - ample seating , some ok decor but not a feeling of warmth. We stopped in for a quick meat and three lunch and no customers were there at 12:45, does that say something? The guy working the counter was fairly nice - but the food was just ok. I had a pretty good Salisbury steak , blah rice and very blah broccoli cheese casserole- hardly any broccoli or taste to it and I could not eat it. Husband got the bbq chicken and liked it. I'm not impressed and won't return. Also- the restroom doors are filthy from handprints- please clean !!!!

The person who assisted me was friendly, and The person who assisted me was friendly, and the food was tasty with generous portions. However, I wasn't a fan of the setting and atmosphere, but that's just a personal preference.

Bland Mac n cheese .. my baked chicken still had furs sticking out if it .. yams tasted lune straight up sugar, greens had no flavor .. I was looking forward to a nice soul food plate and was underwhelmed. Also ordered banana pudding and received a strawberry concoction instead... idk give it a try if you have $25 to throw out the window ...

A solid meat and 3 off Murfreesboro Road where the old Dairy King used to be. Food is really tasty and the portion sizes are large, especially for lunch. Meats and sides change every day, but seem very fresh. Restaurant is clean, staff are friendly and prices are fair. This is a good lunch spot.

This was the WORST restaurant experience I've ever had. I ordered the chicken dressing--it was way too salty. They gave me meatloaf instead, which was cold! When I asked for a refund, the employee told me I wasn't getting one and said he'd just microwave the food instead. I asked for the manager's contact information, and he refused to give it to me. The staff was rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful. I'll be reporting this place to the health department. Save yourself the trouble--do NOT eat here!

This place looked pretty grungy but I felt like that was part of the look. It's cafeteria style service. I got the 3 sides - greens, candied yams and greens. I wasn't blown away by the sides. I tried my friends catfish which was really good but other than that, not impressed.

Food was great. Legit soul food. I had pigs feet that was perfectly made and even better with the pepper vinegar. The greens could have used a touch more salt, but thats why there is salt on the table right? For dessert, definitely try the chocolate chess pie. Its to die for. Its got a little bit of a hole in the wall feel, but much larger space.

The meatloaf was delicious. The chicken was tender. The mac & cheese is very good. Love the ho cakes. I give this place an A. People are very nice.

Super simple eatery serving up legitimate no frills GREAT soul food. Traditional Meat and three with many choices. We had the catfish and the pork chops. Plate was overflowing and huge portions of love. Everything is home made and it tastes it. All are welcome at this non-tourist trap place

George the owner, has some fantastic ribs on the weekend and awesome baked chicken. Meatloaf and fried catfish, is also delicious. May have to ask for the fried okra, if not on the buffet . Love the cabbage and green beans. Mashed potatoes.

This place is your average locally owned meat and 3. Nothing extravagant but a good option for a quick lunch or dinner. The cabbage and cornbread cakes are my favorite but all their food is well seasoned. Different days have different side and meat options. They have a variety of homemade pies that will have you feeling like your back at grandmas house. If you visit during the week from 11-1p you'll likely find yourself in a lengthy line with the locals. Parking is free which is rare in Nashville. The location and ambiance lack in appeal but the food more than makes up for that. Overall, if you're looking for a cheap, delicious meal, support this local business and stop by!

Very good traditional 'Meat and 3' restaurant. Had Fried Pork Chops as entree; prepared when ordered and perfectly seasoned. Sides were just as good.

Great food, super nice employees and nice location. They are closed on Saturdays which is okay but I would like to eat there on Saturdays. The restaurant is clean every time we've been visited. If you're looking for a good meat and 3, go to Ramzy's.

I came here looking for a barbecue place. Instead, I was treated to a delightful amount of meat choices with plenty of sides to compliment my meat! The place is called meat and three because you choose one main meat dish and then three choices of sides, where one can be a corn or garlic bread, depending on availability. Every day, the menu changes, so look at what's available depending on the day. There are some mainstays like fried chicken or mash potatoes. Tonight, I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Ramzy. He walked by me and recommended I get the meatloaf. I told him I was eyeing the pork chops with potatoes and carrots and he said I couldn't go wrong with that either. I made my choice and I was not disappointed. As a side, I ended up getting the mash potatoes and macaroni. It was very very good. The pork chops were very tender and savory. The mash with gravy was plentiful and complimented the macaroni very well. I had a plate to go, so I didn't get a drink. I will now have to visit this place a different day of the week to try the other options! Looking forward to my next visit.

I love this meat and three, the food is delicious and the portions are huge. We had the Homemade Meatloaf and the Barbecue Chicken quarters. The cheesy potatoes were so delicious and the green beans were seasoned well. Nice open floor plan, clean and inviting. George and his team are very hospitable and attentive

I order two plates of a eat and 3 veggies and we loved all of it. The flavor was wonderful. We had chicken and dressing, delicious with turnip green,mac and cheese, mashed potatoes and brown gravy. We ordered a second plate with same meat but green beans, mac and cheese and turnip greens and my neiced loved it. They also had whole pie's for 18.?? and a bought the pecan for my home and gave a friend the chocolate fudge pie who love it, just as we loved the pecan. You can't go wrong in supporting a place like this. The young man who helped me was so nice. Also delicious flat cornbread came with meal. Yummy all ! Thank you Ramzys for great food and service. Blessings that you have many customers who appreciate you as much as my family and I do.

When i was training to become a wire tech at AT&T a year and a half ago, i stopped here atleast once a week for 8 weeks straight. Amazing food, good service, loved it.

Never again greens out the can not seasoned. Green beans over seasoned. Never again fried chicken old but good

Being on a side of town I am not familiar with, I used YELP and all of the reviews to chose a spot for lunch. My husband & I are junk food junkie...we love ginger new places to eat.

My husband and I have ordered from this restaurant several times. The meat portions are more than adequate. I love the barbecue chicken that is not overly drowned in sauce. He is hooked on the fried pork chops that are cooked to perfection. The vegetables are good also. If you don't feel like cooking yet want a "home cooked " meal, try this restaurant.

Since I started going to Ramzy's I can't seem to stop, and have become a regular. All of the food is delicious! Even the green beans that are canned (not fresh), but how they prepare it, it is divine! The cabbage is one of my favorites, but some days can be a little too spicy for some people - not me! The meatloaf, chicken lasagna (when they have it), and fried catfish are insanely delicious. And to top it all off, I have tried like 6 desserts so far, and they are all wonderful! (I say this as someone that usually doesn't eat dessert after a meal.) Every time I eat a piece of cake there, it's completely moist, and perfectly sweet! This place has the best chess pie I've ever eaten, and their dessert portions are good (not too big or too small). If you want to try a REAL southern meat and three, that hasn't had their quality decline with commercialism, you have GOT to try Ramzy's. The food and delightful service is top notch!

Just cause that's not the fucking Mac and cheese in the pictures and tf y'all give me one hot sauce pack and one mustard pack for TWO FUCKING FISH ??? Best believe I'm getting my money back bitch

Spaghetti day is our favorite day. The fish is extremely delicious as well. The service is great and the place is clean.

I absolutely love Ramey's! They always have fresh, hot food that is like my grandma used to make that's why I love going there. If you haven't tried it I strongly suggest you do!

This is the hole in the wall soul food spot I was seeking amd FOUND IT! I think I was the only first timer there. Great sign. Felt like I was at my Grandma's eating after church. Shout out to George for the great service! Food out of this world.

This is my favorite meat & 3! My mom sends me here on a regular to get the fried fish and chicken! The desserts are also amazing. I'm a banana pudding fanatic and RAMZY'S banana pudding always hits the spot.

I don't leave many Yelp reviews, only when I'm especially impressed by somewhere and Ramzys was awesome. Huge portions, good prices, and friendly staff. You can't ask for much more from a quick lunch spot. This was my first time there but I'll be back for sure.

Today I came in there because I believe in second chances and people make mistakes. I am so glad i was on live video when this happened because I have millions of witnesses to George's behavior. Every experience will not be a good experience. You work in customer service so you should know that. You cannot have an attitude with me because you overcharged me and stole over $248 which you did not apologize for nor offer to reimburse me for. I came in there on a positive bigger person note. I sure did post on social media and yelp. As a business owner myself, any feedback is improvement and if an error was made, it needs to be corrected and not taken personally. You younger folks think people are attacking your business. You stole my money, and it is not an attack on your business but you. Take accountability and ownership of your actions, being disrespectful towards someone else's mom will get you hurt, and my sons do not play about men being disrespectful towards me, their mom. You took your actions out on a customer who first time being in your business, and she was so uncomfortable that she will never come back to your business. She also works for the federal government that shuts down businesses based on how they treat the consumer. You will ruin your own business.

Gross food had no seasoning chicken was dry no seasoning same for side dishes I was disappointed expected better

Ate there today for the first time. Will definitely be back. I had roast pork, mashed potatoes, pinto beans, and cornbread. Everything was great!
