I had the opportunity to try Ranazul on Saturday. I understand that Howard County is having a restaurant week, but this does not excuse the poor quality of food. The first dish that I tried was the beef tacos. The flavor of the meat was excellent, and the caramelized onions were a nice touch. However, the tortilla needed to be cooked longer, and the salsa served was a generic brand salsa like Chi-Chi’s. The second dish I tried was the Peruvian chicken. The garlic-heavy sauce was decent, but the chicken was drier than a summer month in Nevada. The third dish I tried was the chicken alfredo. Not only was the chicken dry, but the only flavor it had was the char from the skillet. The alfredo sauce tasted like Bertolli brand with no salt or pepper, and the noodles were not al dente. The person I was with ordered the Crunchy Honey Soy Shrimp, Crispy Chicken, and the Salmon Medallion. None of the dishes they tried were worth finishing. The waitress was young and nice but had no clue about the bar options and had to continuously ask a coworker about the different drink options. Overall disappointing experience, and I 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND.
